I'm a single dad movig to Hobart by the end of the year. My son is 7 and is an active but really good boy. We are clean and tidy and we like nice, friendly and warm people. I'm a chef, in case that gives me some point :)
I graduated from Utas last year and now am focusing on English study for immigration purpose. Already live in Hobart 4 and half years. I have one day lecture per week for the engineering professional year. I am a male single, quiet and no smoker. Moreover, I do not drink. Like chat with people but do not like party machine.
Hey I’m bella and I am 19 years old, I live in Gordon tas and it’s super far to travel everyday to study so I was looking for a place anywhere closer to Hobart I am very respectful will give you your own space and I am clean. Looking for someon bubbly like myself so then we would get along better male or female or both I don’t mind just want somewhere stable with people I could build friendships with, I love animals and I am a smoker.
In this episode of 'A Girl and Her Dog', Danielle and her imperturbable pup seek a new sanctuary to build their next adventure. Having bid farewell to the last chapter, and fresh with bruises from bundling a lifetime of belongings into a 6x4 storage facility, our two cheery companions bravely place an ad online to find a new place to call home. Where will it guide our travellers? Will it lead to housemate horror? Will they get their own bathroom or venture to the unexplored 'Eastern shore'? Only time will tell!
Moved from Victoria to study in January. I am friendly and respectful, fairly quiet but also social. I have a great sense of humor. I am able too cook and clean. I have a stable part time job. I am studying geology. I love to explore national parks or forests in my free time. I have a car and am on my P2. Thanks in advance!
Hey, I'm Alex, 22 years old and I work full time as an administrator from home. I'm easy going, polite, respectful of opinions and peoples lifestyles. I'm happy to cook a meal as a group or do my own thing, grab the necessity's such a toilet paper, bin bags etc knowing my house mates will get it another time. I'm very flexible and happy to assist in anyway when possible. Previously I actually use to be a Camel Tourism Operation Manager training camels in Broome so I have a unique past with plenty of great stories. I also have a 2 year old Blue Heeler X Kelpie, Her name is Indy and she is very well behaved, a little excitable at first but once settled will be your best friend and a great pick me up. I can assure you she is house trained, never having an incident since she was 12 weeks old, very friendly and doesn't bark at other dogs, even when the whole neighborhood is going off. As far as what I do for fun, I love watching a good series or movie, playing any kinda sport really but especially soccer, taking Indy for walks, socializing and I don't mind cracking out a console for some FIfA or Mario Kart, Street Fighter you name it. I'm not a big drinker but I don't mind if my roommates are, if your party animals or study focused, I can adapt to the expected environment of the household, of cause ideally i'd love roommates who like dogs or at the very least don't have a phobia. I can understand your hesitance about a dog, but let me assure you that I will pay for carpet cleaning quarterly, she is well behaved and I promise that you will be happy you accepted one and a half roommates instead of just one. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to get in contact with some great people shortly.
Couple in their early 20s (22- student and part time worker, 24- full time worker). Respectful and clean, like being social and having dinner with housemates at home.
Myself Dharma from India. Recently I was granted state nominated visa subclass 489. As I was nominated by Tasmania , I need to stay and work in Tasmania for min. 2 years. I am Mechanical Engineer by profession and planning to move to Hobart in search of new job and life. Basically I am quiet and easy go and shall adjust to the situation easily so that people won't find difficult to accommodate me.
I have just moved to Hobart to start a new job at UTAS. I will be at work and travelling between Launceston and Hobart throughout the week most of the time and love to make the most of my weekends so I probably won't be home all that often to be honest haha. I have lived in share houses for many years now and understand the dynamics of how to make a place good! I appreciate a clean house and am more than happy to do my share of the housework, pay bills/rent on time and chip in for general house costs. I'm looking for a place with people who understand the balance between personal space for time when I have 'shit to get done' and also the ability to hang out and have fun when we all have some free time. I'm more than happy to cook a meal for housemates every now and then and won't get passive aggressive if you steal some of my milk or weetbix, just don't go touching my hummus! Being new to Tassie, I want to get out and explore as much as possible so would love to live with people who have similar interests (hiking, camping, fishing, surfing, exploring etc) but if you're not into that kind of stuff that's fine by me also. Final thing and not important at all, but I would love to live with a doggo or in a place that would consider pets so I could get my own doggo! (This is not a make or break requirement though)
I am a chartered structural engineer I have just moved to Hobart from Adelaide as I got a new job here. I have my family staying in my own apartment in Adelaide CBD and it’s likely that I will be travelling to them fortnightly at the weekends. I lived in Dubai for 12 years 5 of which were sharing with other flatmates, so I used to share accommodation with others in a good way. I work full time in Salamanca and I was looking to rent a two bedroom place near that area but couldn't find a good one. I am currently staying in Somerset on the pier hotel and should move on 24 August.
I am friendly, respectful, cooperative and easy-going individual living with my husband. I am also a graduate from RMIT university. Planning to come to further study in Tasmania by the mid of August. Looking for a place in Hobart preferably closer to the city. I am organised and very clean when it comes specially to the common areas and always consider as my own. We would like to meet people from different backgrounds and share the culture and have nice time.
Just finished my engineering studies in Victoria. Moving down to Hobart for work. Starting in late September or early October. Looking for a medium term room, no need for it to be furnished. I'm easy going, clean and respectful. I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing cricket and having a few beers/wines.
Hi guys, we are looking for a place to stay for 10 days while we wait for our place. We have already found a place but it becomes available on the 16th. Dates would be from the 6th to the 16th. About us, we are a chilean couple, both 27, we spent most of our day working, and just chill and watch movies on our free time. Undemanding guest. Non smokers, no pets. We have a car so parking is a must, dont mind walking a block or 2 if there is no off street parking right in front. For any further information, just message me Sebastian
