I’m a chef and student in hospitality. My husband is a baker and farmer. We are from Hong Kong. We love foods n sports. Sometimes we go camping and cycling. We will stay in Hobart at least for two years. We are looking for a room for couple and a friendly, easy going landlord. Please feel free to contact us
I'm originally from Peru in my late 30's been in Australia for almost 6 years now. I will be moving interstate from Melbourne, so I'm very excited to see what Tassie has to offer. I love to go out for dinners, love movies and cooking occasionally. I'm very tidy and respectful of communal places and expecting the same qualities. I'm kind person, with an easy going attitude and easy to be around. I am accommodating to others so long as the same respect is reciprocated.
Working and studying full time. Looking for a place for a few months. Clean, tidy and pretty chilled. Love getting outdoors, cooking, reading and adventures.
I'm a 23 year old student studying via distance at the moment but moving to Hobart in May. I'm studying French and German so if you speak it, please get in touch! I'm a very easy-going, clean and considerate non smoker and light drinker. I enjoy my own space but also like hanging out and meeting new people.
I've lived out of home for over 10 years, and like the most of us I appreciate a clean bathroom and kitchen. Shared space should be respectfully clean, but the rest of the house needs to feel lived in. I would like to live with like minded people who enjoy hanging out on the couch and solving the problems of the universe over a few cups of tea (or wine/beer), but are also comfortable spending time alone and are happy with their own company. I'm very much an outdoorsy/active guy. I'm a climber, I'm enjoying hiking around Hobart and Tassie, I try to keep in shape by training with weights, and I will pretty much give anything a go if it's outside. I work away every second week so there's a fair amount of time that I won't be around, this means you won't have to listen to my lame puns or dad jokes too often (don't worry I'm not actually a dad). I don't really party or drink much, but I'm quite social. I'm not against that lifestyle, but I don't want to live in a party house. I'm mostly vegetarian, just because it's how I grew up and what I'm familiar with. If you're a vego, I'll easily be mindful of that with use of kitchen equipment etc. If you're not a vego, well maybe you can introduce me to some new meals because I'm still finding out what I like. I would rather live with some young professionals than uni students, unless you're mature aged students........... I'm 28 but I have a lot of traits of an 80 year old. I'm not interested in living with anyone that "will wash up soon" but really that means "I'm going into my room and won't come out for quite a while so you'll probably end up doing these dishes 'cos that's the kind of lazy piece of shit I am". No thanks. Your mess shouldn't be my concern. So, if you're still interested, please send me a message and hit me up with what you've got in mind. :)
My partner and I are moving to Hobart from Brisbane this April. We are both neat, clean, friendly and easy going. We are both young professionals in our late 20s. We are looking at something around 350 including bills or 280 not including bills. Thanks and looking forward to hear from you guys
My name is Oscar and I have just moved down to Tasmania from Queensland so I'm still new to the area, looking for a new place. I tend to play games in my spare time and enjoy walking though national parks and trails. like having pets around. I like to keep the house tidy. Bit of a nerd, not much of a party person.
We come from Vietnam and we are a very friendly couple. We are looking for a room to stay in Hobart TAS. We do not party since we love the silence. We do not drink and smoke. My boyfriend is studying the Master Program in UTAS and I am working.
Hey there, i’m moving back to Tassie after spending 2 years in the US & the following 3 in Canada to complete an events management diploma. I’m a very responsible, clean, tidy, bubbly, friendly & mature girl originally from the NE of Tassie. Looking forward to hearing from you 😊
I’m easygoing, quiet, can handle myself on a trivia night, happy to help out, and make a great cup of tea. I’m moving to Hobart for work/treechange, having just bought a house in the Huon Valley. Just need a place for two months or so while waiting for settlement. I’ll be working in the CBD for the federal government, and spending my weekends exploring Hobart and the Huon.
My likes: - live music - cycling - reading - aussie rules (go pies!) - cricket (tests) - politics (talking/debating) - independent movies - gym - fruit and vegetables - red wine and xxxx - doing volunteer work with chartities looking after the homeless. i am generally neat and tidy, but not OCD neat and tidy. I enjoy chatting to people, but also some quiet time. Saturday mornings are generally spent at the market and then reading the paper - an actual newspaper not online.
I am a 26 year old Danish girl, and I study medicine in Copenhagen. I start an internship at Royal Hobart Hospital October 1st til 21st of December, and I am looking for a houseshare or a room preferably with roommates to live in for my time in Hobart. I take pride in keeping my room clean, and to respect my roommates and their space. I must say that I am a very friendly and outgoing person, who loves to interact with people, and I do love a good chat. I am a very positive person, and I always try to look on the bright side of life. I consider myself a good listener as well as one to turn to if you want to forget your sorrows for a moment or two. I love being outdoors, being active and to experience my surroundings in new and fun ways. I love a good glass of wine and the occasional night out on the town, but I also spend my weekends playing boardgames or binge watching a tv-show on netflix. I enjoy great literature just as much as a tacky rom-com in TV. For my time in Hobart, I will mostly be spending my days at the hospital and my weekends exploring Tasmania. I would love to find a volleyball team to join while I am here. I really hope you will consider me as a future roommate, and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks Karoline
I'm a marine biologist at IMAS and just came over to Tassie to start my PhD in the end of last year. I have to move out of my current room within the next 5 weeks as it will be renovated. Would prefer to find a long-term place to stay! I am easy-going, love being outdoors hiking and camping and respect others people's privacy, but I am always up for having dinner together in the evening. I don't have problems with pets and I'm able to keep my room tidy. What are you waiting for? Just drop me a message :)
Josh and Lane are a couple of experienced renters who have left their house-hunting a little too late, and are quite desperate to find themselves a home soon. Currently we are both in our final year of University, and also working part-time in the Salamanca area, so proximity to these places would be ideal for us. We are both neat and quiet, but are always down for a bit of fun. We also have experience renting in Hobart, so we are more than clued up about how to handle the whole process. We've set a max budget of around $180 per person per week, so hopefully we can find ourselves some nice housemates and a nice place to live. We currently have a few places shortlisted to apply for ASAP, all we need is the housemates to help fill the quota. Can easily meet to learn more about each other as writing can only tell you so much about ourselves. Cheers guys.
Organised, reliable and easy going individual, have a part time job at a pub and also study full time. Don't smoke, love music and having a cheeky beer. New to Tassie (only been down here for 6 months) and fallen in love with it so looking for somewhere to stay for the rest of my studies. I am a respectful older individual who enjoys his own time and doesn't enjoy the going to town scene anymore, but is just as happy socialising over a wine. Cheers
Hey! I'm Jess, 24, I work full time as a healthcare professional and am from Melbourne. I would describe myself as an approachable individual who in my free time likes reading a book, watching shows or catching up with friends. I'm looking for housemates who are friendly and easy-going. I value privacy, respect, and honesty. I'm a tidy person and feel it's important to keep communal areas clean. I enjoy inviting friends over to hang out and welcome the opportunity to meet new people. Feel free to message me to find out more.
