My name is Darryl, I"m a young fifty year old male, who works in emergency and disaster management. I have just returned from a 12 month international AVID/Red Cross posting in Mongolia and am now heading to Hobart for a 12 month project with the SES starting in October. As an experienced sharehousemate I'm clean, mature and comfortable with people and like a balance of me time and "hey lets share dinner". In my spare time I like to get out and walk, mountain bike, hike/camp, but I am also looking to enjoy all the music options that Hobart has to offer, and occasional festivals. I am an average cook, haha, but adapt for all house hold appliances, most garden tools and even plumbing if required. I would also look to bring with me Betty my 12 year old Black Labrador/malamute/kelpie cross. Betty is very happy outside. She is a gentle girl, smart, full of love, but a lot slower than she once was. So if your house is pet friendly, fun and relaxed, has a yard, maybe with a vege garden and looking for a new member send me a message. Kind regards Darryl
I own a photo booth business so what's not to love about that? I also work full time on top of that. I'm clean, non-smoker, not the worlds greatest cook, but I'm very good at cleaning dishes. Like to have my own space, but also spend time with flatties watching tv, grabbing brunch, etc. Like going to the gym, hanging out in parks/cafes etc in my spare time.
Clean, reserved and professionally employed, I am looking to rent a room for at least 3 months while I get my bearings in my new home city (originally from Sydney). Hey there! Looking for a nice relaxing space where I can zone out. Whilst I am friendly, honest and responsible and ideally would like to share a meal with future housemates every now and again, I do treasure my own space/time. I love coffee, cats and dogs, traveling to new spaces, photography, getting about outside and keeping myself active. Things I would find hard to work with in a houseshare situation are smoking and really loud personalities.

I'm from Ireland and have just finished up an MSc. in Canada. I'm moving to Hobart in November for a PhD in marine ecology at UTAS :D Priorities: I am a respectful house mate and I hope to live with people who are of the same inclination: respecting other peoples' space, being clean and tidy, and good communication are all important. I am very open to hanging out and doing things like cooking dinners with house mates. A garden or balcony to grow some fruit and veg would be a major plus. I have no pets, but love animals. Am open to house mates who have/want pets! Canada hasn't polluted what sports I like (silly ice hockey!). I am a big rugby fan and love the idea of following some Aussie sports!

I am a student moving from Melbourne to Tasmania at the end of November, & moving to Hobart sometime December. I am after a 1-2 bedroom unit/granny flat, etc not too far from the Sandy Bay uni. I have rented in Hobart for two years through a private landlord, & one year in Melbourne through a real estate. It's a medium sized house with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, laundry area, kitchen and medium backyard with deck. There is space in the driveway for a small car, but is plenty of street parking available right out the front of the property. It's a very short drive to the shops/bottle-o and bus stops at the top and bottom of the street.
Retired seafaring engineer, enrolled as a student at Utas, just for me. I own my own unit, so I'm used to living alone, handy, thoughtful, private. I no longer smoke or drink. I need a room (unfurnished O.K.), would prefer own bathroom and use of the kitchen. Off-street parking essential, preferably covered. The more suitable the accommodation, the longer the proposed stay.
