I hate writing things about myself, but facts are always good. 1. I got a rock stuck in my head once by riding my bike with my eyes closed 2. Sometimes I purposely mix up incompetent and incontinent because I think I'm hilarious 3. Kinda pretty passionate about human/animal rights, Australian music and plants. From Brisbane, just sussing out all of my options as I'm looking to move to Newcastle for study and am not particularly fond of paying for a whole place by myself just yet. I have two cats, Toilet Water and Pudge, they're weird. September is a ball park date, I'm studying secondary teaching in Brisbane this year and am just taking things as they come. Majoring in English and minoring in Philosophy if all goes to plan. Endless existential conversations are lovely.
Hi! My name is Lauren, I'm 22 years old and I'm moving from Sydney to Newcastle to start studying Medicine. I love sport, Netflix, a cup of tea or a cheeky cocktail. I enjoy a social environment yet respect boundaries that come with living in a share house. Ideally, I am interested in moving into an existing share house where the existing members are cohesive and enjoy the company of those that they live with. I am moving from a share house with friends, so I come house trained and would love to find a new place to call home. My move in date is flexible, but preferably before the 25th of February, my length of stay is also flexible. Please get in touch for more info if you think this might be a good fit :)
Hi! My name is Maddy, I'm 24 years old and I'm a full-time student at University of Newcastle, studying a Bachelor of Music/Arts. I'm originally from Sydney. I've been living in Newcastle for around a year now, but am looking for a new place to live. Besides studying, I am a professional singer and children's entertainer. I run my own kids party business and I also work as a singing teacher. I have a pet bird (budgie) who I'd love to take with me into my new home, but can be left at my parents' place if this is not possible. He is quiet and clean, and I'd keep him in my bedroom. I'm a very tidy, easy going person. I'm a fun and outgoing person and like making new friends, I love going to gigs and the beach.
Hiii, my names Sarah and I'm about to begin my first year at the University of Newcastle studying a bachelor of Occupational Therapy. I'm from Tamworth and am excited to be moving to a much bigger area with many more opportunities and things to do. I'm a very active/social person and am big into sports of all kind (mainly swimming and anything that involves the water). Although I like keeping busy, I also enjoy/need the occasional downtime and understand that everyone needs their own space too. As I'm only a youngen' (turning 18 this year), I would prefer to be rooming with younger people (18-21ish) until I find my feet, so if you have a room available or are looking for a roommate to team-up with feel free to send me a message
Hi there ! My name is Clara. I am a French girl, but I am currently studying in Montreal, Canada. I will be coming to Newcastle in late January for about 4 months, for an exchange program with my home university. So I am looking for a flatshare where hopefully I can meet new friends from all over the world :) I am a very friendly, calm and tidy person. I enjoy hanging out with friends, go out, but I also know how to respect each one's personal space, and I need mine sometimes ! Hope to see you soon on the East Coast!
Hi guys! I’m a 21 year old nanny from United States as well as a Psychology student at the UON. My partner, Harley, is a 25 year old Diesel Fitter, originally from Western Sydney, who enjoys motorbikes and a good laugh. We recently returned from a lengthy visit to the States are are looking for a space to move into that is shared with other laid-back and friendly individuals, who are both respectful towards each other and respectful towards the space. We both remain pretty busy between work and school but are hoping to be able to come home to a positive, warm and fun environment in the end of the day. We are both responsible and respectful and take pride in both the place we live and the condition we keep it in.
Moving to Newcastle to study, I am a 24 year old straight male who is coming from Sydney. I have lived out of home for four years and have experience living in sharehouses. I'm not looking for a party household but would definitely love a social and active household. I am happy living with just about any housemates, regardless of gender or sexuality. I also get along great with pets. As long as everyone is chill and gets along, I think I'd be a great addition.
Our house is in a pretty quiet street in North Lambton, real close to the following:- University of Newcastle – 6 minutes Stockland Jesmond – 4 minutes Waratah Village – 6 minutes Inner City Bypass – 3 minutes The room available is quite large with heaps of light and French doors leading on to the front verandah. It is unfurnished and unfortunately it does not have built in wardrobes but it does have a TV aerial port and 2 power-points. The rent is $150 per week plus bills. These include electricity, gas, water usage and (optional) internet. All the standard housemate traits are a must: clean, friendly, courteous and respectful. We are pretty laid back and chill, but there will be a timetable for jobs around the house. Just to keep everything fair for everyone. We are on a 12-month lease which started on August 30th. You will be expected to go on the Lease.
Quiet person non smoker, currently doing an internship in social media marketing. Love animals. Not much of a socialite but wouldn't mind sharing accommodation with a few nice people, good with computers and a little artsy when the itch strikes. Spend a majority of my free time online, mostly gaming, so good internet is a must personally and professionally. Enjoy FFXIV, Overwatch, Dip into WoW on occasion ( Both factions c: ) pubg, little bit of csgo. Great things we could enjoy/get mad at together as roomies, would love to meet someone irl with some shared interests in these. Don't own a car to hog your driveway space and clean up after myself. Don't mind if you're loud (had a roommate that practiced drums every week) or smoker of any kind. Looking to live anywhere in the Newcastle area and suburbs close to bus lines. Prefer bills included in rent, but fine if they aren't. I've got a flawless rental history (3 years) and never been behind on payment, can provide references on request.
I'm a 20 year old medical student who has previously studied at Wollongong University while living on campus. I am social, clean, and studious. I love cooking and gardening, and am more than happy to share a glass of wine!
My name is Dinuk, I am 22 years old and I am from Melbourne, where I've lived my whole life up until now. I am to start my course in physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle as of February 26th. I am someone who is friendly and sociable but also someone who respects personal space and boundaries. I have previously lived in a shared accommodation in Melbourne so i know what it's like living with others in regards to hygiene and cleanliness. I can also be quiet diligent with studying so you may see notice that I might study till late. I very much love to cook, and would be happy to have cook ups or just spend time with others. I also like watching tv shows, reading, and going for walks and spending time with friends. I am also easy going and very approachable. I hope you may take this all into consideration, thanks.
I am 23. I am from Nepal and I have been living in Australia for the last 4 years though I don't know many people in Newcastle. I am working full-time and completing CA too. I am a quiet and boring sort of person who prefers being a couch potato over exercising but I am open to knowing new people, seeing new places and making friends. But you will definitely not find me throwing parties. I don't mind if you have friends over as long as you are not too loud since I have to study. I like keeping clean though I am not very pedantic about it. And I love dogs, not that I have any, but plus points if you have one I can play with and steal some of its love for myself. I should add that I am an 'experimental' cook and would be quite happy to let someone taste my cooking occasionally (too much of it can be dangerous to your health).
Hey guys! I’m a 21 year old nanny from the United States as well as an international student at the UON. I lived on campus last semester but am looking for somewhere with a bit more space that is perhaps a bit tidier (lol), but still hope to be around other people my age. I stay pretty busy between my work and studying, but still enjoy being social and going to the beach or enjoying a night out when I can. I am super respectful of shared space and other people’s belongings, and always make sure to clean up after myself. I’m really hoping to find somewhere that is a positive, warm and fun environment, and where everyone is respectful towards each other/ to the space.

Hi, I'm 21 years old from Geelong Victoria! I'll be moving up to Newcastle to commence studying Physiotherapy in 2018. I am easy going, very clean and tidy. I'm always up for a chat but also respectful of privacy. I'm a keen surfer and just love to go exploring and nights out with great people. I'm keen to move up to the warmer weather and meet some people who are keen to hang out a bit but also respect study time.
Our homey house is full of light and happy vibes. There is one bathroom (with the deepest bath ever) and two toilets. There are two open living areas, gas stovetop a deck, outdoor undercover area and a large, fenced yard. The house is close to the University, main roads and Lambton Park. We have two very lovable boxer dogs, and one cheeky cat. The room is a decent size, unfurnished, with a built in. The house is mostly furnished, but we are happy for you to contribute whatever you need to make this your home. We are looking for an honest, relaxed and like minded person to join our happy household.
