Hi, I'm a mother of two from Brunei Darussalam & I will be bringing my daughter to start Uni in Melbourne mid February 2019 and staying on for awhile until she is nicely settled with her friends in long term accommodation. So for myself (one person only), I am looking for short term accommodation from 18th Feb until 8th March 2019; either a Private room but housemate(s) must be all female(s) only or an Entire place if any within my budget of A$350+- per week in Melbourne CBD area or its surrounding up to around 15mins by tram/train to Melbourne Central Station or near to Uni Melb. I am easygoing, friendly, tidy, clean, respectful of others' personal space & property. I rarely cook, if I do it will be light cooking. I'm also a non-smoker & looking for a clean, tidy, quiet place with WiFi, Kitchen and living room area in case my daughter and/or son (who is currently studying in melbourne) drops by. But most of the time, I will be out with my kids or exploring Melbourne myself for the rest of my trip :)
A friendly, nice, caring and clean person that loves cooking and gym. I lead an active and healthy lifestyle, but I would say that balance is the key, so I love relaxing at weekends It would be nice to have easy-going, open-minded roommates, someone who would respect your privacy, but at the same time is friendly and it is open for a glass of wine and a nice chat.
Hey there! I'm Davy, a 26 years old PhD student. I've been living in Melbourne for 3 years and would like to find a new accommodation somewhere in the inner north suburbs. Ideally to share with 2 or more people. My hobbies include (but aren't limited to) going to gigs, hiking, chilling out while drinking craft beers and procrastinating instead of doing my research. I like to think that I'm open-minded and always appreciate an interesting discussion where I get to know your pov. I would like to find housemates that are willing to do some activities together. Could be cooking, jamming together (I play the guitar), going out or even just having a chat over dinner. Whatever floats your boat! If you're interested, send me a message. I would love to see the house/apartment and chat with you and the other housemates. Cheers
I'm an independent but sociable guy. Big sense of humour but very respectful of others' space. I've lived in a shared space for 35 years. Prefer quiet but sociable company. I'm comfortable with most people. Must be non-smokers. I'm cool with younger company. I'm a creative. Singer, composer/musician. Like to share with fellow creatives.

Hi, we are renting a big bedroom with built in robes in a very nice house in North Melbourne. The house has plenty of natural light and is situated in Carroll St, one of the nicest streets in North Melbourne. The Tram stop is one block away even though the house is very close to all the universities and walking distance to the city. The house has hydronic heating, air conditioner, washing/dryer combo, and all the necessary cooking appliances. The room in not furnished, but we can arrange something for a long-term lease. We are a very easy going and friendly young couple, we are both architects.
I'm a student from Germany, currently living in New York for an internship. I'm a very open minded person who's easy and fun to live with. I love to meet new people and enjoy having chats and meet friends. I love to travel and always up for a climbing or hiking trip. I've lived in shared flats since 10 years now, which was always a great experience. I study biology and will be in Melbourne for an internship. Therefore I'm looking for a nice place and people to live with.
Hi my name is Omar, I'm currently a PhD student at The University of Melbourne. This is my first year in the city. My girlfriend and I are looking for a place close to the Uni (a one-bedroom apartment if possible) to live there at least one year.
My name is Javier, I am a university lecturer in sports science and high-school teacher in Spain, and I will spend this year doing research at Victoria University. I consider myself an active and easy going person, willing to learn more about Australia. I enjoy doing exercise, going out for a coffee or drink, and meeting new people. I also love being out in nature and practising sports such as climbing, hiking or mountain biking. You won't regret having me as a housemate ;)
We are a couple from Chile and we arrived in Melbourne on 9th September. We have been travelling for about 3 years, working in New Zealand for 2 of those years and the rest of the time travelling in Asia. We both are 31 years old graphic designers. We have a Working Holiday Visa that allow us to work for 1 year here in Australia. Currently not working but looking for a job and hopefully we can get one soon. We are friendly, quiet and very relaxed. We are also tidy, clean and respectful (I think because we lived with people from so many different places in the last three years). We both enjoy having a glass of wine or a beer from time to time and specially have a tasty dinner haha. Paula is illustrator, she loves books, magazines, pencils and stationery stores. I really enjoy playing guitar or ukelele, I love music and dance although I am not very good 🤔. We are native spanish speakers but we can speak english as well, not perfect but we would love to keep improving our skills. About our moving dates It would be great if we can move the 4rd of October. Probably we would have to leave the property on January or so. Please let us know if you have a place for us! (=
I am a postgraduate Biomedical Sciences student from The Netherlands. From February on, I am going to do my research internship into Dementia in The Royal Melbourne Hospital for 6 months. During my internship I am looking for a shared home. I like being surrounded by other people to eat (I like to cook =)), sport, watch Netflix or explore the Australian culture and country together. However, I also appreciate quietness and peacefulness. Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem.
