Hi, Looking for a place between Macquarie Park and the city that is easily accessible by public transport and close to shops/cafes. I work in IT, I'm easy going, and respectful of space. I'm clean and tidy but also understands that it is a home. I'm up for a laugh and chat and most would say that i have a good sense of humor (but who am i to say?). I'm usually out on Fridays and Saturdays. I try to stay fit and eat well ... but I also like going to cafes, going out, and socializing. I like travel/adventure and try to squeeze in some of my hobbies (including hiking, photography/drawing) for some balance. I'm pet friendly (i like dogs, and I've lived with Cats before). I enjoy taking dogs for walks or just chilling with a cat. Looking for a place to share with people who are relaxed / similar lifestyles.
Hi, I am coming from Sweden (Europe) to Sydney from 11th Nov to work in Optus for one year which is located in Macquarie Park. I have my own apartment here in Sweden and have always kept it pretty clean and tidy. I am pretty social, joyful, friendly and fun loving guy and you wont have any issues with me in your apartment that I can be confident about. My interests include sports, reading books, exploring, meeting new people and socializing. Let me know if you need more info regarding me :-)
Hi all, My name is isabella (bel perferably) I'm 23 and have just started working full time and am looking to reduce my travel time and move a bit closer to work. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a bit of banta every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. Am definitely really keen for a team up. Basically I'm hoping to get a couple of people together and get a share house. Seems to be a good (and well slightly cheaper) option. If your keen then maybe we can have a drink and talk it out! Thanks, bel.
I reside around Strathfield currently. However, I am planning to move in January 2017. I don't prefer to see airport kind of scene at home :D, hence would prefer to live with 1 or 2 roommates. I respect others and their privacy. I am very well organized and tidy person, and hence looking for people who could share similar attributes. I have lived in Sweden and Finland before, so I am very open to other cultures, and I love to learn new things from others. I am a professional and very well mannered guy, Pretty sure you would love my company. I might be busy reading, or working on my laptop, unless someone doesn't want to engage. Hence, my roommates never find me boring but a very flexible soul. I like watching TV, and cooking when I have time. I won't mind cooking for my roommate as I love to cook for people and have beer occasionally. I would prefer to have a place near a Gym as I like to work out and do recreational stuffs. Feel free to contact.
Hi, I'm Jarrod, a medical student at Western Sydney University. During my 5th and final year I will be placed at Concord Hospital, and as such I will need to relocate somewhere around there. (It is also likely that I will be working near here in 2018-onwards, so I will be hoping to stay in the house from 2017-onwards). Over the past 3 years I have lived in share houses in Campbelltown with a few different people and enjoyed the time I have spent with them, but it is unfeasible for them to move with me or for me to commute every day. I will be turning 23 in March 2017, which means I already receive the full youth allowance amount, which is my main source of income, along with 3 scholarships, and my bulk of savings. I'm pretty clean and quiet (med student) but I am all for people coming and chilling at our house. I have my own fridge, washing machine, lounges, TV cabinet, 2 TVs, study furniture, and my own bedroom furnishings. So, buying common furniture for the house isn't a worry; I'm all set! The main concern for me is my dog. I have a German Shepherd X (DOB: 1/7/15). He is a lovely dog and so friendly with people and other animals, but I know pets can be a major drawback for landlords. I can't move without him. If there is anything else you need to know please get in touch with me. Warm regards, Jarrod
A private furnished room in a fully furnished house with a large kitchen and a backyard. If you work or study in North Ryde or Ryde you will save a lot of time in commute as it is central to all those locations. The house is cozy and has great energy. The backyard is private and lush green with tall trees. The shops are within 10 minutes walking distance and buses are right outside the house.
I am born and raised in Australia and currently living in Brisbane. I spent 6 months travelling through Europe last year and have an incredibly social and diverse background. I am a really relaxed and social guy and get along with people very easily. I'm heading down to Sydney for 3 months for a student vacation position at Cochlear at Macquarie Uni over the summer.
I'm looking for a shared flat for my 4 months stay in Sydney. I'm a german backpacker and consider myself as a nice and uncomplicated person, with a sense of humor (yes, Germans can have humor too :D) I like to cook and also to socialize with people.
Looking for a place with some easy going people. Will be working 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster so I won't be there much. Will also be flying home to brisbane every 7 days on my break too. I will be working on the construction of the new Northconnex tunnel so i would like to be close to work which is located in Thornleigh.
Hi, I enjoy talking and sharing experiences. Some friends told me that I'm a good cooker (especially Peruvian food) and also a clean and tidy housemate. I'm looking forward to meeting great people to share a flat or a house.
hey everyone ;) looking for a room to rent in North Ryde area? Spacious and modern house in North Ryde, very close to public transport and unlimited parking on the street on the photos, the room doesn't look big but it is. You will be able to fit at least double size bed, table and chair, wardrobe. The room is available now with no maximum stay.
I'm an electrical engineering student from Brisbane. I'll be working at Macquarie University from late November until mid February. I'll be working full time in the summer and looking to spend my weekends having fun and exploring Sydney. I'm sociable, conscientious, and clean and tidy. I love music and play guitar (and would be happy to teach anyone who wants to learn).
Hi, I work full time in the city at a stable job. When im at home I enjoy drinking wine and binge watching terrible tv shows. I have 2 medium sized non shedding inside dogs so I need some kind of backyard even if it's small. They can be a bit rough with other pets so I would prefer not to live with other pets also I am allergic to anything that does shed. Ideally I would prefer to start up a new place with another person who likes dogs. Please let me know if any of this is suitable for you!
Myself and bubbly 13 year-old budgie are looking for a nice little spot in Sydney amongst a household of energized, fun-loving and like-minded people! I am highly 'space-conscious', ensuring my surroundings are neat, my messes absent, and sharing whatever utilities I have with my roomies.
Hi !! I'm French and very friendly girl. I'm 23 years old and I have already do flatesmates. I'm very clean and very respectful person. I love to share the culture and share my French food. Hi! My name is Kaitlyn and i'll be moving to the Maquarie area from Adelaide, to attend MQ next year for my Masters (which I am super excited about). Ideally I would love a single room, either in a unit or house, within walking distance of the Ryde Campus and is also affordable. I am open to the idea of teaming up with others and looking for our own place together. I am a clean person, who is friendly and responsible. I love to socialise as well, but with doing my Masters next year that will be my first priority in all honesty. So if you're interested in having me as a roommate please contact me! Thanks :)
I am from India and comig to Sydney in December for my MBA at Macquarie. A private room for rent with sharing bathroom in a 4-bedroom house close to Macquarie Park, Sydney. The house is located in a very convenient location in North Ryde close to shops, post office, cafes, hospital, shopping center, Uni, bus station, and train station - 3 minutes ride by bus to Macquarie uni and shopping center, walking distance to Fitness First, Office Works, and gas stations' supermarket. - Good size bedroom with built in wardrobe. - Light filled with window facing north. - Extremely clean as the entire house is nearly brandnew. - Easy access to equipped kitchen with nearly brandnew white goods. - Large fully furnished living area - Ducted air-conditioning - BBQ in lush green backyard - outdoor furniture facing a green leafy view of the garden - alfresco with dinning table suitable to enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner - common area for storage (ample storage available). - The house has many "wow" factors that would be revealed upon inspection. We have created a spotless, clean and organised environment yet very warm and homely. It's quiet and relaxed, suitable for students and those who work full-time. Whilst we are quite flexible and easy-to-get-along-with couple, we're particular about the person who's going to share our house and home with us. Being clean, responsive and respectful to others privacy is our policy and we expect the same from our future housemate. Whilst smoking is not allowed indoors, we are OK with smoking outdoors.
Student looking for a share house/apartment from February 2017 (I've created an account early to see what's available) which is easily accessible to public transport. I am coming up to my last year of uni and looking to move out from my current apartment into a new living environment (currently sharing an apartment with my sister). I am very social and would love to get to know my roommates over some drinks and a good meal. Very capable of cleaning up after myself and happy to keep shared areas tidy so that everyone can enjoy the space. I love watching films, going out for food & drinks, trying new things, and always up for a cheeky dance or karaoke sesh.
Hey there :) I'm Luke, a 23 year old guy currently living in Windsor, working in carpentry and waiting for my security license to be processed after studying. I'm a pretty busy guy but when I am home I like to become friends and have a good laugh whenever housemates are around. If you aren't mates it's not fun :) Don't have my license at the moment but it's in the goals to get it ASAP. Living close to a train station is preferred. I have a bike and like to keep fit so it doesn't have to be right next to a station :) lol Been at shared houses for a while and I'm looking for a good place to stay for the longer term where everyone understands each other's situations and we all work around each other to make it a good environment :D (at the moment it seems like dream to find the perfect housemates!) I'm pretty easy going and chill about a lot of stuff. I don't care who you are or what you do if you're not an a-hole then I will treat you with respect and do what i can to be there for you! I've lived with a bunch of different people in the past 5-6 years including women so I understand that everybody's different and yeah...if your house is badly unhygienic then don't even bother contacting me !!! I set my date to move as Today, but i honestly don't mind if you have a bit of waiting. I'm not going to rush these things anymore, need to find the right fit for everyone so we can live in harmony :) Hoping to hear from some Awesome people soon so we can get the ball rolling.. Cheers Luke.
I am studying at Macquarie Uni and working part-time. I am looking to rent from the end of December 2016 and I want to find flatmates by that time. I am a friendly and sociable person and I respect other people's privacy too. I am ready too some necessary cleaning too. Non-smoker, no pets. I will be out working or studying most of the time, but while at home I will be happy to chat, watch series have a couple of drinks during the weekend etc. I don't have any special requirements and I'm just looking for flatmates who are friendly and responsible (no crazy parties too often, no drugs or something like that, pay on time etc.).
