What makes me great to live with? Well where do I start lol... I work as an airline pilot, so yes I will be away a reasonable amount of time, exactly how much I don't know yet. Im into cooking so happy to cook for whoever is around at the time. Love animals especially dogs. I like to think I have my shit together and happy to help out around the house. I like the idea of being somewhat self sustainable and enjoy growing edibles. Super easy to get along with, enjoy a meal and a beer/wine with some good conversation. Lots of walking/cycle tracks and parks near by . Close to shops Grandview hotel and Rsl. 15 mins walk to train and a bus stop is around the corner.
The community: Overall this is a nice complex to live in, I know the managers well and they look after me and the property. It is a quiet street. Located in Victoria Point, this home offers off street parking, secure gated community with access to two pools and BBQ areas. Both pools are within walking distance from this unit. Friends and family are also able to swim here, as long as they are accompanied by the tenant residing on premises. This gated community is within 10 minutes walking distance to Bunnings, Medical Centre, Woolworth's supermarket, chemist, takeaway stores, barber salon and a few other shops, there are even more stores within 5 minutes driving distance across the intersection. Basically, there are lots of shops very close to this complex. There is also the Victoria Point Tavern and Sharks within 10 minutes either side of the complex if that is something you would like. If you are into exercise, you can go for a walk toward the cricket nets and the oval. Approximately 15 minute walk towards a major shopping centre, you have access to a bus terminal as well which go to all suburbs locally. McDonalds, KFC and one other fastfood restaurants are all 10 minutes drive away. The room: A double sized room which would house a queen sized bed, desk if you have one and a chest of drawers. The room has a single bed & matress included if needed. Can easily be dismantled & stored if not. As shown in pictures, there is a double wardrobe with built-in shelves if you don't have any drawers. The room has A/C which would be absolutely brilliant when we have heat waves. You have the full use of your own bathroom; own toilet, there is also Foxtel port in this room, any installation would be at your cost only and your responsibility for any bills. Short term/long term welcome, ideally I'd prefer someone long term however am open to short term of minimum two months. The window overlooks the street in the complex, not the main road, and there are vertical blinds for privacy. There is off street parking right in front of this unit, or there are visitors parts close by the other tenants can also use. However, the park in front of the unit is for another tenant while I have the garage. The House: is fully furnished 3 Bedrooms upstairs, one is obviously mine with an en suite, another one is my study which has been a work in progress as I only moved in here last February. I am a Scentsy Consultant and work for myself cleaning houses. Downstairs, kitchen with all cooking amenities, oven, flat stove top. Lounge and separate dining room, have dining table and a small fishtank. I do cook a bit. There is a small backyard with table and chairs, herb pot plants and a few other random potted plants. While I am not a green thumb, I do like to have greenery around. About me: I am 35, as said above, work as a cleaner supporting myself in this seemingly expensive to live in world and I am trying to launch myself as a Scentsy Consultant. I have a small friendly house trained dog who is almost 2. She is very protective of her surroundings and me, however she is incredibly friendly once she knows a person and will probably try to greet you every time she sees anyone. I discourage barking, she is kept inside from time to time when I go to work, I often take her nearby to my family's house to be looked after when I do go to work. I am looking for a honest, clean, non-smoking, working professional with a sense of humour seeking a quiet place to call home. I really need someone who can pay their own way. I also would like someone whom can offer personal space and doesn't mind silence, but also who can have a chat! Expenses: The room is $190, with two weeks rent in advance & 4 weeks bond. Payable before you take up tenancy. Bond will not be refunded at the end unless you: give me 4 weeks notice of intention to leave OR you can't pay your rent during tenancy. Added expenses are just electricity and gas so far, to give an idea of the cost, last bills I had with power being $48.70 and gas being $22, it was quite cheap and although sharing would obviously incur slightly additional charges, having two people would naturally make the cost cheaper. I used my air con during the heat wave a lot at night, very hard to sleep in the heat which was almost like a sauna. Please ask me any questions, have tried to include as much information about this place as possible. If I contact you, please reply, even if it is a no! I am really keen to get a housemate! It’s a lovely new property in the heart of Cleveland so you can walk through the park to the town, harbour, train and North Stradbroke Island Water taxi. It is on the East side of Cleveland in a nice quiet area. The room is a Queen size room, has a walk in robe and own bathroom. There is a fan in the bedroom and an air conditioner in the main areas. It has a nice patio and BBQ shared with one other person.
Big house with lots of separate living areas. Huge deck and established garden ( gardener included). BBQ area, fire pit and outdoor seating. Area to grow veges. Large kitchen and dining area gives a community feel. Furnished with antique and old world style Quiet area close to the water, cycle tracks and bus stop. Gym nearby at local shops.
Quiet location near the bay. Close to cycle paths and bus route. Local shops are a 15 minute cycle or 30 minutes to Victoria Point. The house has established gardens and an included gardener mows the lawn. There are two lounge spaces, a big kitchen and a huge verandah to enjoy with a BBQ and outdoor bath. Ceiling fans keep the home cool with the bayside breezes.
