30 year old structural engineer who is just moving down from Sydney to live in Wollongong for work. Looking for a room in a one or two bed apartment close to the CBD or beach. I live a pretty busy lifestyle during the week with work and sport, so really enjoy taking it easy on the weekends. Really into music, cooking, good tv series and travel. Looking for somewhere and/or someone who is relatively clean, relaxed and easy to live with.
I'm currently looking to either rent a private 1 beddy, a room, or team up with one or two people to find a place. So about me: I'm a 27 year old female who works and studies part time. I like to keep to myself mostly and spend a lot of my time in Canberra, but do enjoy the occasional weekend hiking adventure, or night out :) I'm clean and respectful, and won't cause any dramas with paying bills or rent. I do smoke, but only outside. Looking to move in with one or two males (sorry ladies, have had big problems with living with females in the past and vowed never again!). A furnished room would be great, and i can commit to at least 2-3 months. Also, having my own bathroom would be great and I'm happy to pay more for it. I'm ready to move in immediately, but also go overseas for 2 weeks on 7 June, so being able to move in from 22 June would be perfect. Any other questions, feel free to ask :)
Hello! I am looking for a place to stay for a few months - I need to move quickly as the owner of my current flat needs to work on the place! I am looking to meet and spend time with friendly social people. I do have a car (annoyingly) so some sort of parking nearby is preferable. I finish my current job in a month and will then be travelling around Wollongong, Sydney and the rest of the country getting another one! I will have no trouble paying rent at all (I am a contractor).
Hi! I'm a 30 year old Engineer, looking for someone clean, tidy and responsible to share the unit with me indefinitely. I'm looking for someone who's got a good sense of humour, is pretty quiet but doesn't mind sharing a drink or two every and then. Preferably a student or young professional... I'm easy going, like to keep active and cook, watch TV of an evening and go to bed around 10-11. Second floor of a cosy and clean apartment, the unit is fully furnished, apart from your bedroom, which has linen and a bed. We could work something out if you needed furniture. Big balcony with BBQ and overlooking the escarpment. Parking on the street and internet. All appliances. Quiet neighbourhood, close to NGH, beach, stuart park. Let's talk if you're interested...
Hi, I'm a french Uni student at UOW. I'm doing phD in marine biology, so I'm pretty busy during the week. But I like to socialize around a beer in the weekend and especially like outdoor activities: hiking, surfing, swimming...
Hello! my name is Amanda, I'm a sapanish biology student and I will be moving to Australia in July to study at the UOW. Im a quiet person to live with, I love to cook (vegan/vegetarian) and meet new people of every kind. If you want to know anything else about me just ask!
UPDATE: Due to changes in circumstances, the room is now only available for a short term rental from now until the beginning of July. If you are interested, contact me On offer is a room in pristine location with a gorgeous view of the escarpment, 200m from the Novotel and beach, about 500 m to North Wollongong station, very close to free bus stop and within a 10 minute bike ride and 20 minute walk to the university and the town centre. The flat is on the 3rd floor and a bike can be locked up in the staircase. There is ample free street parking. It is an overall quiet building with nice neighbours. The room has some furniture, including a dresser, mirror console and large sock drawer, but is missing a bed, desk, and chair. Water is included in the rent, as is the internet connection (NBN). Electricity is due every 3 months, but usually only comes to about 100$ a head. On weekends there is a cat here (called Bobba), so being animal-friendly and not cat allergic is a must. About me: My name is Gabriel, I am a PhD candidate at the university, where I work in innovative medical research. I am easy going, and I am not a neat-freak, but I have a couple pet peeves, including an expectation of cleanliness and respect for privacy. I have a fiancee who lives in Canberra and she does come down on the weekends. I am not a party animal, nor is the flat suitable to have large crowds over. A quiet dinner is absolutely fine. On weekdays I go to bed at around 10pm. If you are interested, send me a message and we can arrange a time for you to come over and have a look at the place. Please send me a nice message, telling me a little bit about yourself.

Pretty normal guys, tidy, quiet and keep to ourselves, don't really drink much and always up for a laugh! Part time work through a laboring agency and full time employed. So yeah that's us! Skateboard and BMX so we like to travel around to different skateparks on weekend. Ollie and Simon
Myself and my partner have been in Wollongong just over a year now. Our lease runs up shortly so we would like to find somewhere to rent or someone to team up with and find a nice place. We are super chilled and enjoy the outdoors hiking and exploring as well as relaxing at home listening to music or playing games. We are not party animals but love having drinks and heading out occasionally. We are pretty occupied during the weeks and my partner works most weekends. We would both love to meet new people as we are still pretty new to the area. We maintain our home with pride and are very clean individuals. We are not fussy people and are very easy to get along with and love a good laugh! We are going to both be studying at UOW for the next few years so we want nothing more than to find somewhere to call home!

I'm a kind, fun person, and I have a cat called Guppy, and she is a wonderful kitty. I'm kind of a dork, but I think I'm an alright person to chill with. I'm going to be studying in a college in Sydney, but I'm not quite used to Sydney, so I'm looking to chill in Woolongong. That's really it about me, I'm pretty boring. I don't need to move specifically on the 5th but I'd like to around that general time :)
Easy going girl looking for a room with some fun people, preferably close to the beach. Moving to Wollongong in July. Love dogs. Tidy and considerate. Don't mind a drink on the weekend. After a year in a 3rd floor apartment, I am dreaming of a backyard. From a quaint little place called Pambula, have been in Penrith for the past year.
I'm a 23 years old girl that comes from Argentina. Now living in Shoalhaven area, beautiful landscapes, but too quiet for me. That's why I'd like to move to Wollongong, where I'm currently studying and I'll be working in the next months, hopefully for long term. I'm a good energy person, extroverted, respectful, organised and clean. I love listening to music, dancing, sports and social activities. If you are a cool person willing to know funny people, I'll be happy to be your flatmate!
Hi, my name is Al. I've recently enrolled at UOW where I'm doing my PhD in geology. I've been living in Sydney but have decided to move because the commute to Wollongong is wearing me down. I've been living in share houses up and down the east coast for the past decade so I'm pretty good at it. I'm super tidy, friendly and respectful of others space. On weekends Im all about chilling out at home, brunch, the local pub and the beach with friends and family. Weekdays are mostly uni. I'm looking for a room in a house preferably, reasonably close to the beach with 2-3 other housemates. Hit me up.
Awesome flat close to the beach with two nice roommates is seeking a third one! We are quite easy going and looking for someone who is relaxed, clean and social. The flat is close to the Uni bus, shops and CBD, has a nice balcony and is fully furnished. The room has a built-in wardrobe, and you share the bathroom with one other. If you want to have a look at the flat feel free to contact us.
I am a friendly, easygoing, trustworthy and tidy 18 year old studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts at UOW in February 2018. I am looking to rent a room or team up with others to find a place anywhere in Wollongong. I am considerate and respectful of others privacy and alone time and enjoy my own company occasionally, but I also love to chat and interact with other housemates. I'm a pretty adaptable person so I'm happy to live anywhere and with any gender and age. I am tidy and clean up after myself and am more than willing to include myself in all household duties. I enjoy catching up with my friends and meeting new people. I'm from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains so I love to spend time in the snow but I am also excited to move to Wollongong and be close to the beach. I'm also super relaxed and enjoy just hanging at home, sitting down with a red wine and having a good chat. I am wanting to move as soon as possible so please feel free to send me a message if you're interested!
