Hiya! I'm Stephanie and I study secondary teaching at Monash. I'm also a teacher for a tutoring institution. Currently I'm in a share-house in Springvale but I'm hoping to move further north around November-December to a place with a nicer vibe. Ideally, I would love to live with cool/kind people around my age, who I can feel comfortable around, who also wouldn't mind a chat and a wine (doesn't have to be wine).
I'm studying a Graduate Diploma of Reproductive Science at Monash University starting Feb 2017. I'm moving over to Melbourne from Adelaide toward the end of January or beginning of February. I'll be studying full-time and will probably be at the university for a majority of the week. I'd love to live with housemates that are able to have a laugh together and be able to have their own space as well. Would prefer to live with a non-smoker and another student.
I'm about to become a PhD student in the Health Economics at Monash University, after 5 years of working in academia in the UK. I've lived in a number of shared houses before (with up to 12 people); so I am confident I can be a clean and tidy house/flatmate, and can respect any house rules. I'm pretty outgoing and easy to get on with, and I think a house share would be a great way to meet people and get to know Melbourne better. In my spare time, I enjoy creative pursuits, like writing and drawing; as well as activities like bushwalking, which I intend to do more of when I get to Melbourne. In the UK I was also a volunteer dog-walker for a national charity and would love to do something similar once I've moved.
Our house is very close to Monash uni Clayton (20 min walk) and shops (1 min walk). We have two large gardens; front and back, garage that fits 2 cars along with the driveway that fits 5 cars. Room can fit double bed and desk and has in-built wardrobe. Large front living room/dining area that connects to kitchen with TV. Laundry room with washing machine and basin. Kitchen has fridge/freezer and electric hob/oven. Wooden floors throughout house, (bathroom/laundry/kitchen tiled). Bathroom separate to toilet, with bath and shower.
Hi everone! I am a third year Biomed student at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I will be traveling down to Melbourne at the start of November to participate in the Summer research Scholarship program at Monash University (Clayton campus). I am desperately in need for accommodation during this time (mid November - start of February). I will be spending most of my time at the university, and am hoping to find a room to rent close to the campus/ close to public transport. I am so excited to come down to Melbourne for a couple of months!
I am currently at Monash halls and am looking to permanently move out around the middle of November. I've spent nearly 2 years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.
*Room is available after October 10th* I'm a 30 year old single female who needs a roomie for my spare room opposite Monash Uni Clayton. It's fully furnished, including bed in spare room. There is a roof top bbq and a rooft top gym too. It's a secure apartment. I work full time and study part time and train in the gym often. Let me know if your interested.
I am new to Melbourne, originally from Perth WA. Moved over to live with the ex boyfriend but didn't work out. Working on the Level X Removal Project and want to work till completion. I am tidy, always clean up after myself, organised, reliable with payment, honest, understanding, easy going, independent and keep to myself. Want to make new friends and meet people. Have a car and a dog but he will be living with the ex.
I've been living on campus at Monash for the last year but want to move into a share house because rent on campus is way too expensive for what it is. I'm 20, I'll be in second year science next year hoping to major in maths and environmental sciences. From Gippsland and will likely go back every weekend to work and play netball so I won't be around 24/7. Ideally after around $160-$180 a week with an ensuite but not too fussed. Also probably won't want to move in until February.
Accomodating easy to go guy, but serious with academic stuffs, I would like to prefer a place which is quiet and clean, specially because I would be pretty busy with my studies [PhD thing :( ]. I am omnivorous, but would prefer veg though :)
Chilled, neat, & respectful person. I am in the medical field and I am looking to rent in the Clayton area, close to Monash Medical Centre. For fun, I go out with friends , explore Melbourne and regional Victoria on day trips. I get bored easily, so I also do quite a bit of overseas travel :) Love hiking, so it will be a bonus if my future housemates do as well!
