I am looking for someone who loves a big dog cuddle, who is tidy, happy and friendly. It's important that the house feels like home for both of us - a place where we can chill and feel welcome. A housemate who is happy to have a chat and be social as well as have quiet, alone time is wanted to share a 3 bedroom townhouse with my dog and cat. Located on the quiet side of Nundah away from the motorways and within 8/10 min walk to shops, cafes and train and a bus stop to the city only 3 mins walk around the corner. Separated over two levels of living, the kitchen is located on the ground floor with the lounge and dining area. The bedrooms are upstairs. The townhouse is at the rear of a complex of 4 and is really private. There is a small rear grassed yard and front courtyard/BBQ area. The room available has a queen size bed, desk and a lamp which can be removed if you prefer plus the room has built in robes, a ceiling fan and it shares a balcony with the 3rd room. I'd prefer to keep the 3rd bedroom as a spare room. It currently has a queen bed and desk also. Once you have settled in we can decide as a house if we want another flatmate for short or long term, if at all. Internet is included and we will split the electricity in half. The lounge room layout can be changed to accommodate my larger 5 seater sofa. The one pictured is a large 3 seater and everything looks smaller in the pics 😌.
Hey I'm steph! I'm 21 years old and working full time at H&M chadstone in Melbourne. I’m looking to transfer to Brisbane in the near future and hopefully share a place with someone easy going like myself (works confirmed it’ll be January at the latest) I’m laid back, clean (maybe not in my own bedroom) and easy to get along with. I spend my days either at work, in my room reading or out with friends or family. I’m not a loud or disruptive person and most of the time you wouldn’t even know I’m home. I’ve spent the last year living alone and tend to do my own thing. I’m really social and want to feel like my house is a home so I’d want to get along with my flat mates and be able to watch a movie or have a glass of wine from time to time but looking to move in with someone who won’t judge my laziness/eating habits. I have a cat named Thea she is less than 1 year old. She’s very friendly and social. Good for cuddles or if you aren’t into cats she would be happy to just hang with me. She’s very easy to love, easy to look after and only naughty on occasion. She would be fine with other pets after a warm up introduction but she’s got a pretty laid back personality so I wouldn’t see any problems. I’d be working full time and visiting family on the Sunshine Coast most weekends so just need somewhere I’ll be comfortable and feel at home :)
I have a room with a comfy double bed, built in wardrobe and retro dressing table with your own bathroom available from 2 September. I am looking to share with only 1 other person. No couples I'm sorry. The townhouse has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms with an extra toilet downstairs in the laundry area. Aircon in the lounge Fully furnished with vintage and modern furniture. I have everything that you require and unfortunately there is no extra room for more furniture or things in the kitchen etc. Dishwasher and electric stove/oven in kitchen Washing machine in laundry and tub. No drier. Clothes line in courtyard. Your room will be furnished with a double bed, retro dressing table with draws and has a Built in Wardrobe. The bathroom has a bathtub. And parking is on street. There is no visitor car parking as its only a small complex of 5 townhouses. Bills are extra including electricity, unlimited internet ($50 per month) and netflix. I rent though an agent and they would need refs/landlord approval prior to moving in. I will remain the only person on the lease. There is a small courtyard with a table setting to chill out in and have a BBQ and drinks at the end of the day or on weekend. I have two friendly cats who come and go as they please!! You will need to like cats to live here! No other pets can be accommodated. Nundah is close to the CBD and the Valley as is the airport. And the townhouse is on a wide, spacious and quiet street close to Kedron Brook path, cafes and bars in Nundah Village. I live in close proximity with people in the other townhouses and I would consider myself and the neighbours respectful of each others space.
Hey! I am from New Zealand, but previously been living in Melbourne for 2 years. I will be moving to Brisbane mid October after travelling Europe for 4 months as I have a job lined up. I am looking to move in around the Hamilton area into an apartment as I will not have a car and it is close to my work (Eagle Farm) I work in the Freight industry, full time so am not at home during the day except the weekends. I am a clean, tidy and bubbly person and I love meeting new people. I’m always up for going on adventures, going to the beach or having a few drinks. I have a wicked passion for traveling, keeping fit and healthy and volleyball. I am looking for more of a mate than a flatmate, and a place that I can come home to relax and feel comfortable. If you think I would fit in with your flat or you would like to live with me then please PM me! :)
Clean, Respectful, and chilled out. I work full time in the airline industry so spend a lot of time away from home. I like quiet nights in and spending time in nature as much as I can.
A bit about me.. my name is Felicity, I’m 27 and I’ve recently moved from Melbourne. Currently living with a friend of mine in Bracken Ridge, she has recently found a job interstate so I’m hoping to find somewhere a bit closer into town! Im currently working full time in Property Mgmt out in Murrarie, I love to go to gigs, art shows, getting out into nature and the occasional festival. Ideally hoping to also find roommates who don’t mind sharing a meal and chats over a few drinks! I’m generally a pretty low key person, stay at home most nights during the week and then spend my weekends out and about with friends. I’m not a massive party person but go out every now and again, would love to find a place I can invite a friend or two over to for a few drinks once in a while. Safe to say I think I’ve experienced the whole spectrum of sharehousing. Have lived with friends, strangers and on my own so I’m very well house trained.. Have had some awful sharehouse experiences myself so I’m hoping to find housemates who are respectful considerate and tidy. Im pretty relaxed and am not crazy clean but I always try to make sure I leave a tidy space for the next person.. :) Aiming to move around 15th of September
I am Shawn, 28 year old gay male. I work full time in real estate and also study nursing. I am an out-going person who really gets along with everyone. I am looking to live with someone who enjoys their own space, but also enjoys having a drink and chatting. During the week I am mostly out of the house from 8am-6pm. I am a very tidy person who likes to clean up as I go.
Hello! I'm looking to rent a fully fenced house with a back yard for my lil fella Benji (8ish year old Border Collie cross) preferably in the inner northern suburbs and close to a train station. Benji is a trained indoor dog but I work in the CBD Mon-Fri roughly 8-6 so need somewhere with a yard that he can hang out in while I'm slaving away for the government. I enjoy reading, hanging with my pals, and eating family sized bags of chips on a Friday night. I don't smoke but will have a drink every now and then. Looking to live with 1-2 chill people who are tidy, friendly, know how to recycle and won't judge my weekend eating habits. Also Benj doesn’t like to share so I’m looking for somewhere/someone that doesn’t already have a dog or cat. I’m open to teaming up and finding our own house as well. Hmu if you love a good Queenslander!
I’m a pretty easy going, tidy and respectful housemate. I would choose dinner and a few drinks over the party scene now. I’m quite into my health and fitness and work full time office hours in the city. Enjoy getting out doors and catching up with friends and family on weekends.
Hello, I am a 25 yo Female who works two jobs one during the night and one during the day. Andres is a PhD student at QUT. He is originally from Colombia but lived for a long season in Germany. He now speaks Spanish, English and German and has traveled across five continents. He is a very responsible guy committed to his work. In his free time, he likes to play with electronic gadgets and go outdoors for some rollerblading, parkour or slack-lining. Diana is a biomedical engineer from Colombia. She was working for a latinamerican-leading biomedical company but chose to take a break to improve her English and travel a bit around Australia. She is a bit of a gym-junkie and likes to cook delicious Colombian dishes in her free time.
My name is Ami and I will be studying a bachelor of Nursing in the Brisbane area next year:) I have recently worked part-time with children and am currently a Barista. I'm pretty chill and down to earth and I love a good time with good people. I am a muso in my spare time and am all for a kickback and a gig or just a good chat! I am from the Torres Strait Islands and I have lived in a bunch of living situations and I am very easy to get along with, especially if we share an interest for music ;) I am fairly clean and able to help with everything (cooking, cleaning, organizing bills binge watching 1000 TV series in one sitting). I really love being able to make people laugh, be happy and comfortable especially in a home-like environment, it really is a key factor of my personality. I spend my time studying/procrastinating, working and when I'm free vibing out and doing some music. I am particularly keen on teaming-up with open minded, adventurous individuals that may potentially be you! U just gotta put up with the occasional shower singing and we'll be g. I'm very friendly, accepting and easily compatible, I have an open mind about potential accommodation and flatmates. Not to pat myself on the back but I reckon I'd make pretty narly flatmate... Would love to hear from you! (will be moving mid January- February, to start uni)
My name is Ash, I'm a 25 year old student pilot currently working at the airport and looking for a place to call home! I'm originally from Adelaide, and I lived overseas for a couple of years before moving back to Aus to do my degree. I currently study a Bachelor of Aviation, with the intention of going into my flying training sometime next year. I work 2 jobs and study a full-time 4 topic load at uni so I'm not always around, and working at the airport means my work hours can be a bit odd sometimes, but when I am home I like to take it easy...not really a party person, I prefer a glass of red and a cheese plate in front of a good Netflix movie. I don't currently have my own furniture but can purchase if needed so furnished or unfurnished is fine...more looking for somewhere that fits right to call home. Looking for anything north of the city where tolls are not required to get to the airport. Need to have a parking space available either on or off street for my little Astra :-D *Edit* must have own bathroom or ensuite. No shared bathrooms please. Looking forward to hearing from you! :-)
Hi there, I've recently moved back to Queensland from Melbourne and I am about to start a new job near the BNE airport in the next couple of weeks. I've travelled extensively overseas and have lived in Brisbane previously but I'm orignally from rural Qld. I've sharehoused for the past several years and I'm looking for some nice flatmates who are down to earth and reasonable. I enjoy being active and I'll try to get to the gym a few times during the week; not a big drinker but happy to have wine/cocktails when the opportunity arises. Hobbies include markets, cooking and sewing. Happy to contribute to cleaning and general domestic duties, pay bills on time and will work to ensure home is welcoming and comfortable.
One of the housemates has recently moved out, we are looking for someone to take his place on the lease ending on the 26/10/18. We are hopefully planning on renewing the lease further if we find someone. Large open plan downstairs area that is air conditioned with an open kitchen including dishwasher. We have all the general white goods (fridge, freezer, washing machine) and a dining table set up downstairs. The room itself has a queen mattress and a built in wardrobe for storage.
I keep to myself most of the time. I'm friendly and clean. I'm also always up for a chat. I require some garage space to store ladders, tools and stock for my own business.
Hi I'm a fairly quiet person who keeps to themselves most of the time. I work full-time so I'm out most of the day/night during the week. My interests include going to the gym and social sport I also love having a casual beer. I am clean and tidy.
Hi I'm Ben, I'm looking for a cool and cozy room in a happy, relaxed living environment. I work full time at the airport. I am very clean, tidy, respectful of space and chilled out about pretty much anything. Please send me a message so we can arrange a meet. Thankyou.
