Amazing price for location! Oak Park is a fantastic little suburb you've probably never heard of 13km away from the city. 5 min drive to Essendon and Moonee Ponds. Room size can fit queen bed with plenty of space for your furniture. House is fenced so small dogs are okay. Garden in the massive backyard with veg ready to eat, feel free to garden and help us out =) Renovated bathroom with big bath, and shower. Gas cooking and unlimited internet. About 10-15 min walk to the oak park station, really nice neighborhood without the city being too far away. Love wine and all the good stuff in life. Very respectful about space and noise. Good communication always helps when living with someone. Would love to do weekend hikes and day trips. Hello lovely ladies, My cute little fully furnished house (minus your bedroom of course) is on a quiet street, 2mins walk from large park areas, 10min walk from cafes, yoga studios, little milky bar, awesome fish and chips, and beauty shop (quick nail massage or wax- got ya covered) 5min walk from bus route, or 25min walk from Oak Park Train station.(30min train ride into CDB). 15 mins from Essendon, Maribynong. 20 mins from Thornbury Coburg Preston area. Not a huge party animal these days, my house is family friendly, warm cozy and ready for Netflix and or Stan marathons ( on me ladies) , enjoy a glass of wine every now and then. At yoga most week nights, or chilling on the couch, perhaps pretending to cook. Hey - I make like, 3 things flawlessly hah but in general I burn water. I'm very relaxed person that very much enjoys quiet time but am a big music person, not too early in the morning I promise and enjoy a geeky dance in the kitchen. Pretty clean and saved for years to buy all my furniture....go IKEA! So I am house proud, with a green thumb. Only one bathroom sadly, but I work 7-3:30pm, so up early, in bed early. Right- I'm ramberling now, I just would love to find a house buddy that's just as chilled as I am, that will enjoy down time or on occasion forcing myself to be social and check out a new restaurant or pub... funny that when you write this stuff down, I feel incredibly geeky...let's just catch up for coffee and see how we go. Totally normal I promise.
Spectacular views! At 6 minute walk to Oak Park train station (21 minutes away from the city by train). The house has 3 bedrooms. You can choose a room that has a great view to the city skyline or a room that is cosier, both with large wall wardrobes. The house has a living room also with a spectacular view to the city skyline which you can enjoy while leaning back on the couch, working at the desk or seating at the dining table. There is a large balcony with that same view where you can chill out as well. The house has a large garden in the back and a smaller one in the front. There is only one bathroom and one toilet (in separate rooms) in the house but you will be sharing them only with me and one third occupant. The house is one minute by bicycle (600 m) to a splendid bike path (Monee Ponds Creek) that goes uninterrupted all the way to the city. There are plenty of parking spots in the street. There is space to store all your things in the garage and cellar. There is a large capacity gas heater in the lounge; The rooms are provided with a small modern heater and an electric blanket. There is air conditioning in the living room but it consumes a lot of power so we only use it for cooling down in very hot evenings. There is a top quality washing machine/dryer, iron, fridge, slow cooker, stove, oven, cappuccino coffee maker, coffee grinder, microwave, vitamiser, toaster, etc., that you are welcome to use as a member of the family. No TV for now, but you can use our large computer screen and speakers to enjoy movies, TV programs or music using your lap top; no dishwasher. We will get a TV very soon. The rent for the room and house-sharing is: One person: $160 plus $30 for bills ($190 per week, bills included) Couples: $242 plus $40 for bills ($282 per week, bills included). One room will be let for a minimum of 6 months starting now. Another room will be let from now until 26 February 2016. Electricity, gas, water, internet access, use of our washing machine and of the rest of the appliances and common areas of the house are included in the "total" prices. This fixed-rate payment operates in your favour. Communal duties include the sharing the house cleaning and the watering of the garden.
I have recently started working full-time as a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Melbourne CBD. I currently live at home with my parents in Wallan, but I am looking to live closer to the city in an effort to cut my travel times to work, friends and social activities. I have decided I am ready to take this step in independence. I clean after myself in all common areas, and try to keep my personal areas tidy. I am always up for a chat, but am happy to give people space when required. I enjoy watching the footy, playing games (board games or video games), seeing friends, going to gigs, and when I have spare time, photography. My weekdays are generally busy. Apart from work, I spend a lot of time after work seeing my friends and partaking in social activities. When I am not doing that, I like to chill at home, playing games, watching YouTube or just lazing about listening to music. My weekends are very similar, but I try to get one day at home to recharge for the week ahead. Looking for something which will be around 800pcm including bills.

Rent includes unlimited internet but does not include bills. (Gas, electricity, and water) Rent: $190 per week/$820 per calendar month; one month upfront plus $800 security deposit which will be returned when you leave (after room is left clean and bills are paid). I have one room available in two bedroom villa. The unit is in an ideal location, a short 8 minute walk to Oak Park train station, and situated in a quiet neighbourhood on the west side of Pascoe Vale road. Only 11km and 20-25 minute train ride from the city. The room is good sized, freshly painted and has brand new carpet. It has a ceiling fan and contains a huge triple doored built in wardrobe. It is currently unfurnished but I may be able to furnish it with a single bed. Rent is $150 dollars per week and excludes bills. The unit itself is cozy, fully furnished and has ducted gas heating throughout and a split system in the lounge. Small backyard with BBQ, patio and seating. Plus a front and back garden. Occasionally I like to grow my own veggies. Plenty of street parking is available. I'd prefer someone who is like minded, neat and tidy, social and doesn't mind having a chat over a glass of wine on occasions. **No pets** **Females only** **Non Smokers** When enquiring please tell me a bit about yourself.

My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)

I'm an pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line. I have a degree in applied science (chem), and experience as an electronics tech, and with computers, and can be a bit handy around the house. I enjoy a glass of wine, a chat, video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. Quitting smoking, smoking outside in the mean time. - Sam
I am a female, in my 40s, looking for a room from May 20. I am responsible, friendly, quiet, like to keep my environment clean and tidy. I am mostly in my room but like to have friendly chat and spend some time in a nice company of my flatmates. I may work at home on some days. I am into a healthy lifestyle and do yoga and meditation, non-smoker. I prefer a house/flat with females only. I prefer sharing with another one female, maybe two. I love cats and dogs but prefer only smaller dogs (mostly of my fear of bigger dogs). I love kids and have many nieces and nephews and also worked with kids, so single moms or, in some cases, nice families, are also ok. I came to Melb 6-7 years ago from Europe and finished my graduate in psychology here. I need something temporarily until I move on my own, but prefer if it is not shorter than 3-4 months. I am looking for any suburb not too far from the centre, those listed on my profile are not all that I am looking for... if your place is not on that list, you can still contact me. Thanks.
