Amazing price for location! Oak Park is a fantastic little suburb you've probably never heard of 13km away from the city. 5 min drive to Essendon and Moonee Ponds. It is hidden away from the hustle and bustle without being a crazy far distance away. Close to an oval and big park its great for nature lovers. Room size can fit queen bed with plenty of space for your furniture. House is fenced so small dogs are okay. Garden in the massive backyard with veg ready to eat, feel free to garden and help us out =) Renovated bathroom with big bath, and shower. Gas cooking and unlimited internet. About 10-15 min walk to the oak park station, really nice neighborhood without the city being too far away. About me: i'm 26 male who is easygoing but likes clean living, I work full time in IT support, I'm happy to chat or keep ourselves to ourselves with daily pleasantries. Love wine and all the good stuff in life. Very respectful about space and noise. Good communication always helps when living with someone. Would love to do weekend hikes and day trips. Asher is the other housemate - who is 22 and volunteers for the greens and is always happy to have a chat about anything. I also have a shoodle puppy who loves people- no big dogs allowed and no cats as Asher and I are both allergic. Anything else shoot me a message.Cable Unlimited Internet Massive Backyard

2 rooms! Spectacular views! At 6 minute walk to Oak Park train station (21 minutes away from the city by train). The house has 3 bedrooms. You can choose a room that has a great view to the city skyline or a room that is cosier, both with large wall wardrobes. The house has a living room also with a spectacular view to the city skyline which you can enjoy while leaning back on the couch, working at the desk or seating at the dining table. There is a large balcony with that same view where you can chill out as well. The house has a large garden in the back and a smaller one in the front. There is only one bathroom and one toilet (in separate rooms) in the house but you will be sharing them only with me and one third occupant. The house is one minute by bicycle (600 m) to a splendid bike path (Monee Ponds Creek) that goes uninterrupted all the way to the city. There are plenty of parking spots in the street. There is space to store all your things in the garage and cellar. There is a large capacity gas heater in the lounge; The rooms are provided with a small modern heater and an electric blanket. There is air conditioning in the living room but it consumes a lot of power so we only use it for cooling down in very hot evenings (during the day, if it gets too hot, we try to go work somewhere else, for example, at the public library). There is a top quality washing machine/dryer, iron, fridge, slow cooker, stove, oven, cappuccino coffee maker, coffee grinder, microwave, vitamiser, toaster, etc., that you are welcome to use as a member of the family. No TV for now, but you can use our large computer screen and speakers to enjoy movies, TV programs or music using your lap top; no dishwasher. The rent for the rooms and house sharing including unlimited internet access is: Room 1: $110 per week, available from 8 January to 19 February (This room is normally $160 but this is a special price for short term). Room 2: $160 per week, to let for a minimum of one month starting now or on 19 February. Electricity, gas and water will be charged at $30 per person on top of the rent. The house is not energy efficient so this fixed-rate payment operates in your favour. Communal duties include sharing the house cleaning and the watering of the garden.

My friends say that I'm easy going and reliable. I like getting out and about - being social and active; but like a good chill session at home every now and then as well.

Hi, I've recently moved back to Melbourne after living in Queensland for several months (don't judge me, I was born there) and am in need of a more permanent place to live. I'm quiet and a bit of an introvert, but I've gotten a lot better at getting past that these last few years and am pretty much always up for adventures, party times or just a drink and/or chat. I'm happy to live with pets, I love both dogs and cats. They generally think I'm pretty cool, too. Apart from an endless supply of good vibes and bad jokes, I am also happy to share book recommendations, beers and proofreading skills with my future housemates. Now I'm certainly not a clean freak, but I hate leaving messes around so you shouldn't need to worry about that. Well, apart from this listing which is a total rambly mess already. Oh well, you all probably stopped reading as soon as you saw the "born in Queensland" part anyway, ha! Otherwise, great, please let me know if I sound like the kind of housemate you could put up with. P.S: I am a vegetarian, if that helps you decide one way or another.
