Hi potential housemates! I'm Melicha aka Mim - I work full-time in finance over in Milton so am looking for a decent place with some decent housemates in inner-city Brisbane. Cleaning wise, while my own room may go neglected I like to keep common areas tidy, especially bathrooms. I'm quiet and generally enjoy time on my own. Usually I'm out most weeknights doing things after work (I attend dance classes in the city as a hobby) so if I'm home late, you won't really hear me. While I enjoy time to myself, if you're the type of household that enjoys a drink or two some nights, I'm down for that also! Hope to hear from you.
It is a three bedroom house and we are looking to fill one room. The room has high ceilings with a fan. A double bed is in there if needed. We have got a fridge, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Really close to the city and in the heart of Paddington's shops and cafes.
Renovated workers cottage in a central location in Paddington. The bathroom has had a facelift since these photos were taken so I'll upload a new photo soon. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the supermarket. Public transport to city every 10 minutes at peak times. Indoor Laundry. Plenty of under house storage. Lease is up 1 Feb, haven't spoken to the real estate about staying but don't think it would be a problem if you wanted to.
Hey! I'm Adam, this is Kate, we're an English couple and have just moved to Brisbane. We're both clean, respectful and easy going people. We're not 'party people' although we're all for having a few drinks and socialising, we also enjoy our own space and respect other's privacy. We also love dogs :)
Vibrant fun loving 27 y/o from Scotland! Brisbane is basically home! I work 2 jobs - at Lush cosmetics - yes the bath bomb store - and in a beautiful bar in west End called Wandering Cooks. On my days off I usually go off exploring, hiking, to the beach or head to the park to read and write. Really chilled, super clean and tidy. Respectful of other people's space but do enjoy socialising and cooking for people. Avid baker so there's always treats around. I'll begin studying early next year. Any other questions, shoot me a message 😌
"Spacious room, undercover garage, private bathroom and all bills included" The room available is a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and built-in mirrored wardrobe. The room is available for a long term (6+ months) and the rent is $225 per week which includes the room + unlimited internet + Undercover lockup park + Electricity + Netflix. The house is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a fully furnished living and kitchen area and a beautiful lush courtyard. There is a small laundry in the garage equipped with a washing machine and full clothesline outside. This townhouse is located in Paddington, just a short walk to cafes, shops, bars and public transport. Buses into the city go every 5-10 minutes from Latrobe or Given Terrace and the Milton train station is within walking distance. No bond required but we do ask for 2 weeks rent in advance and you will be an approved tenant. Send me a message if you would like to see the house :) Thanks!
Hi, so I'm 21 years old and work full time at a pharmacy in the City. I mainly work the afternoon/ evening shifts from Monday to Friday. I'm super laid back and easy to talk to, happy to meet new people. I have a car so I'll spend most weekends catching up with family and friends, around Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast. I'm not originally from Brisbane, so every few months I head back up north for a few days to catch up with my family. I'm respectful of other peoples privacy, but also happy to have a beer and chat whenever you'd like. I'm all for having a clean home so you won't have a problem with me keeping up with house duties.
This is a really great house, it has heaps of character and is in a central but quiet location. The house is a five minute walk to the shops (woolworths, cafes, restaurants), bus stop (regular services to the city) and Latrobe Terrace. The house is also within walking distance to a really nice park by a creek. The house has a very productive veggie patch a green house and a brazier for those backyard fires. We have a washing machine, dryer and clothes line. There's also lots of room for storage and bikes downstairs.
Five minutes walk from Paddington Central. Bus that goes to the city every 15 mins within a minute's walk. The room has sleep out that you could store a bike or use as a walk in wardrobe. Whatever floats your boat. There is a giant back deck and a rainforest of sorts in the backyard.
Hellooo, We're all incredibly friendly and charismatic individuals and are good friends with each other! We love to have fun and we are planning on getting stuck into some study at various universities in Brisbane! We are moving from Hervey Bay as high school graduates of 2017! Nicholas will be studying Pharmacy at UQ, Lache will be studying a bachelor or diploma of music performance (on guitar) and Sage is still unsure which direction she will be going in; but will likely be studying a bachelor of science/environmental science at UQ! We will all be working part-time and likely going backward and forwards between Hervey Bay and Brisbane to visit family and friends every now and then. Both Nicholas and Lachlan are active musicians! Lachlan plays rhythm and feature guitar of many styles and genres; while Nicholas is a Clarinetist and woodwind reed specialist who has also adopted many styles of music! So expect quite a bit of practice coming from us both as we will be performing as part of groups and solo work all around Brisbane! This will not be disruptive and will not disturb the neighbors :) We really are looking for anywhere that will have us! Our university classes start at the end of February in 2018, so we really need to be settled in before that! Likely around the early February mark is when we are hoping to be grounded! All three of us are loving life at the moment and are looking forward to the exciting city life! We are respectful toward everyone and discriminative toward none! We will appreciate the accommodation and be reliable and respectful tenants! :) Thanks in advance, Nic, Lache and Sage!
Brit couple looking for somewhere chilled to live for around 6 weeks. He works in construction so very early mornings mean very early bedtimes! Must be at least part furnished as we only have our backpacks with us.
We are a couple looking to share an apartment. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. Australia will be the third country to call home in as many years, after the United States and Ireland. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from the University of San Diego, then moved to the University of Kansas to get my master's degree in interpersonal communication. After that, I moved to Dublin, Ireland to play semi-pro basketball in the Irish league. I've lived with males and females, athletes and scientists, and married roommates. Jade is Irish and has lived in Dublin, Ireland most of her life. She got her hairdressing license in London but has been working in an accountant's office for the past 4 years.
Hi :) I'm a full-time shift-worker looking to be start or join a share house/unit in January 2018. I'm friendly, easy-going, and respectful of others. I'm looking to share a place with similar people who want to live in a happy, relaxed household. I like to exercise, volunteer, socialise, dance, and read in my spare time. I'm a clean and tidy housemate, always up for a chat and shared meal. Hoping to live in a space with secure parking and within 20 minutes drive to Chermside, with just females or females and males, aged 20-32.
Hi we are a fairly introverted, friendly couple. We are ideally looking for a room each in a share house arrangement and room for us to make and tend a vegie garden is essential. Rob enjoys fishing, gardening, reading, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking and Ruby enjoys yoga, drawing and painting, gardening, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking. Ruby is a vegan non smoker, non drinker (dont mind about living with non vegans) and Rob is mostly vegan diet but occasionally fish etc and non smoker and very occasional drinker (a beer every few months sort of thing). We are polite, considerate and clean housemates and are hoping to find the same. Rob is a gardener by trade and Ruby is a hairdresser by trade however we are both considering studying again. Prospective housemates must be clean, responsible, honest, bills payed on time, anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-classism, pro-environmentalism.. basically pro-basic decency :) smoking outside is okay but seeking a strictly non smoking indoors home. Interested in any and all suburbs, just picked 4 at random. We arrived in Brisbane on the weekend after travelling for the last year and a half. This is our first time living in queensland.
Hey, I'm Rachel, 25, and I was studying arts (philosophy/writing/French) at UQ this semester, right up till the census date. I'm now planning to work and volunteer for a bit while getting projects ready on the side for honours. So I’d be looking for a job locally, but I’ll be starting regular volunteering straight away. I like reading, nature, gardening, philosophy, art, aesthetics, and design, and am working on several philanthropic projects, especially in education for kids and laypeople. As a housemate, I’m considerate, clean, and tidy (in the common areas, always - although in my own room things can pile up!). I love chats, shared meals, birthdays, games and outings. I like my own space too. If we sound like a good match, I’d love to have a chat!
We are a British couple from Brighton just finished traveling Asia and now in Australia on working holiday visa. We both will be working in central Brisbane. We are easy going, clean, tidy, love to cook, eat and share a bottle of wine (or beer). Looking to share with similar people.
Located 2 km from Brisbane CBD in beautiful Paddington very close to (#375 #385 #61) bus stops. This is a house for people who enjoy a quiet & relaxed house environment. Overseas students and WHV travellers are very welcome to apply. The past years have shown that a mix of nationalities makes a lot of great conversations :) Your Age is unimportant, however maturity is. You must be able to clean up after yourself and share general house duties. There are front & back balconies for smokers and a backyard BBQ area. No smoking, No candles, No incense inside the house/room
This is a large 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, balcony and a small courtyard. It also has ample storage under the house and on-street parking. We have a border collie, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate any more animals; however, you are most welcome to make full use of ours. We are looking for a single person of any gender to stay for a minimum of 3 months. Couples also welcome for $$320 per week. We are very easy-going and enjoy meeting new people. The room is furnished and comes with a queen bed, bed side table and air con. The room has its own bathroom and large built in robe.
Hey everyone! My name is Cibely and I am a 24-yo girl from Brazil. I have been living in Australia for the past 1 year and 2 months and I intend to stay until june/2018 or even longer, fingers crossed haha I am doing a Diploma of Leadership and Management, and working in Hospitality as well, so I have a busy day and would like to have a place to call home at the end of it. I'm clean, tidy and very respectful of other people's personal space and belongings. I enjoy cooking, yoga, hiking and watching movies and TV shows. Would not say no to a glass of wine or going out with my flatmates eventually :) I am looking for a place around Milton, Paddington, Spring Hill or Fortitude Valley. My move in date is flexible too. If you think I would fit in your place, do not hesitate to contact me! Cheers
Hello mate, My name is Guilherme. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil and I intend to catch a plane to Brisbane on November 8th, for study purpose. I'm a very organized person, this is something that was taught by my parents since I was a litle boy, and it was improved when I went to the Brazilian Army. I'm also very friendly and don't have problem to live with other person (prefencialy not brazilians and not at the same bedroom, for privacy reasons). Well, Brisbane is beautifull by photos and videos and I intend to know every single thingh this city can provide me, but, my school is located at Adelaide street, near the Central Station, so if you have some bedroom near Spring Hill, West End or any other place that I could get by bike, it'll be great.
This is a lovely old house with a chilled out vibe right on the boarder of Paddington/Red Hill, super close to a Woolies, bus stops, excellent cafes and anything you could need. The house is filled with greenery and has a nice big backyard complete with a vege garden and fire pit. We have all necessary white goods like fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dryer and all of your standard kitchenware. We have a front verandah and a back deck with an abundance of couches for kicking back and relaxing wherever you please. The room itself is the biggest room in the house with plenty of space for a queen sized bed, desk and dresser. There's just so much room for activities. Another one of the housemates is also moving out so there are actually two rooms available at the moment as well.
