I'm currently studying Business at UQ St Lucia so preferably i would like something reasonably close to the campus. I'm a rather quiet person who spends most of their time studying, watching movies or seeing friends. I enjoy nearly all sports and i'm quite active myself. I drink socially and do not smoke. Apologies for the photo it didn't turn out well at all, i'm the one on the left (obviously).
Harry: I currently work Monday-Friday as an electrician. I do like to have a social drink over the weekends sometimes but also have some nights in watching Netflix. Kaila: I am a flight attendant so I tend to have a 24/7 roster where I can sometimes work over weekends or be up getting ready for work at 3am. I tend to do day trips mostly but can be away a couple of times through the month. I do love a chat and a social drink at home but sometimes with my shift work I can keep to myself a bit more depending on my roster. I would consider both Harry and I to be very easy going, we have been together 2 years and currently just looking for a place that would like us for 6 months. We are currently in the process of saving to move overseas.
flexible move in date (anytime before Feb 20th) currently in Melbourne looking for accommodation in QLD 2nd year Psychology student at UQ, work at Coles quiet and tidy, but do enjoy going out on weekends no pets, non-smoker
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking to team up with people around the same age as me to move into a place early February. I'm looking for a modern 4 bedroom house/apartment around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Newmarket, Milton, Herston, Spring Hill, and Red Hill, anywhere close to the city really. I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me! :)
Hi :) I'm Kat. I'm a 24 year old, working full-time in the city for a consultancy firm. I'm a pretty laid back sort of person and very clean - bit of a coffee addict, love my wine & cheese, interested in any thing art or design related. I am looking for a place to start renting ASAP, ideally for 4-6 months, and an ensuite.
I'm a Brissie girl - home from living in Berlin for the past year and am looking to move into an apartment/house from mid February (or potentially earlier) with a friendly, communicative and organised housemate or two! I'm a very social person, but work full time as a Media and Communications Officer in the CBD so won't be home most of the day. However! I'm very happy to share dinners and wines and chats in the evenings (or separately hide in our rooms and watch tv shows on me-time days). I love travelling, joking around as much as possible and all of the food in the world! (Fun fact - I did work as a cupcake froster in Berlin, so you know I'm not messing around when I say desserts of any kind are my weakness)
Hey guys, looking for a room in a share house that will fit a queen bed and possibly a study desk and clothing rack (or come with walk ins). I'm a mature, friendly and studious pharmacy student also working casually at a pharmacy. I'm a vegetarian but living alongside meat eaters doesn't bother me. I'm very rarely home, but am up for drinks or a chat when I am. My hobbies include cooking or baking, movies, making things, swimming, exploring new places... If you think I sound like someone that would fit into your home, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 24 looking to make the move to Brisbane from SA. I'm into a healthy active lifestyle. I rarely drink, total homebody. Respectful, tidy and like to keep to myself a lot but also looking to make some friends! Sorry I'm allergic to cats.
Hi there. I would make a great flatmate as I have an excellent rental history. I always pay my rent and bills on time and I am neat and tidy. I am easy going and like to have a social drink on the weekends. I am usually pretty quiet during the week, but a chat and a wine after work is always nice. I currently live on the Sunny Coast, but I am moving to Brisbane as I have just accepted a new full time job. I am a professional working in the finance industry. Ideally I would very much prefer my own bathroom. I am an animal lover and OK to live with pets. My budget (to hopefully include bills) is $200 per week, but I can stretch this a bit if needed. At this stage, my proposed move date to Brisbane is the week beginning the 13th of February. Thanks for reading :)
Hi I'm Tegan. I work as a children's counsellor and I'm 30 years old. Clean, respectful and friendly. I love animals, the beach, picnics and exploring new places. Always up for a chat and a laugh but sometimes like quiet time as well. ☺️
Hi my names Siobhan, I'm currently living on the Gold Coast and will be moving to Brisbane. I work in business whilst I am finishing my double degree. I'm a very clean and considerate roommate and respect others space. I'm a fun and friendly person who enjoy a glass of wine and a chat. I will always pay rent on time and always set up direct payments to ensure they are never late.
Hey my Name is Tarragon and I'm a 20 year old Aussie student studying Electrical Aerospace Engineering at QUT, Gardens Point. Im searching for either a room to rent, a granny flat to rent, or any type of accommodation where i have my own room, with furnishings and bills inlcuded(water, electricity, internet). Im a Tidy and respectful person, with a great attitude and very easy going personality. Im a very healthy and driven young male and love to keep fit also. Majority of the time i will stick to myself and do my own thing as my study load is quite large, but all the same looking forward to meeting new people and making some new freinds :) thankyou !!
Hi, my name is Monique. I am doing my Graduate Diploma in Teaching part time and will be working part time too. I am respectful of others, extremely clean and tidy and I dont mind having a chat and making dinner for my flatmates once in a while. I am also a very quiet person to live with and I enjoy living in a quiet home. I am very friendly but I like my own space too. I am happy to help with cleaning and I am reliable with paying rent and bills. Ideally I would like to live in a nice suburb in Brisbane, close to the action. I live a healthy lifestyle and would love to find similar people to share with. If you have something that is suitable, please drop me a line. Currently, I live on the Sunshine Coast, but looking to make the move to Brisbane for work and Uni purposes.
Hi there, my name is Jay and I am a 29 year old full time professional who works in Brisbane City. I am looking to move in with a like minded person/people into a share house, unit etc. I am a non smoker and do have the odd drink every now and then, however, I am certainly no party animal. I don't mind living with people who like to have fun and get down providing that it's not every night. I usually keep pretty busy and am tidy and courteous of other peoples space and things. I don't have any pets and travel light apart from my car, so I am looking for a place that at least has street parking available or I am happy to pay for a parking space. I am somewhat flexible around my move date. Any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Jay
I'm a 28 year old happy, positive, creative woman. I enjoying cooking, long walks down the beach and outdoors sports and activities. I have a passion for 🎶 music in general. I'm a understanding, caring thoughtful clean and tidy person.
Hey! I'm Kelly and I work full-time in Woolloongabba as a graphic designer and am looking for a place with my 1 and a half year old dog! He's a border terrier cross, so a small breed with a huge personality who is house trained! Would need a fully fenced yard for him and he's used to being inside and out when I'm home. Happy to find somewhere with another dog, preferably a larger breed as he takes a little to warm up to smaller dogs but definitely would like them to meet and see if they got along or not whether small or large! I'm pretty chilled and would prefer to live with no more than 2 other roommates unless the property is spacious enough that you're not on top of one another. Also don't mind the suburb as long as it's not too far out and moving date is completely flexible.
I love having a few drinks with friends on weekends but also recognise the need for privacy and ⌚ out. I really enjoy trying new things and finding out about new friends. I am in the SES so storm season can mean I'm not around much, and I take time to see my parents and keep in touch with family. A geek, a nerd (my own observations), somewhat stubborn with a ♥ of gold (others observations).
Hi! My name is Kaitlyn. I am a 20 year old Kiwi girl who has been living in Australia for over 2 years now. I work full time Monday to Friday as an administration assistant in a law firm. I am always up for adventures, drinks, beach, sports and patting dogs. I am hoping to live with people that are some-what like me so that we can get on like a house on fire. I pay bills on time and believe that I can add to the vibes of your house! Would love to hear from you soon! NO SHARE ROOMS
Hi! I have lived in my fair share of share houses so I am respectful and tidy :) I am friendly but also pretty quiet, non-smoker, and quite busy so I'm not home too often.
Hi! I'm moving to Brisbane from Perth for an Engineering job in the CBD. I'm easy going, sociable and a tidy person. Happy to have a few drinks, group dinners and just generally hang out etc. but I'm also respectful of other people's space. I like spending my time outdoors and am keen to explore Brisbane and QLD being new to the city. Ideally would like to live with 2 or 3 other similar people (guys and girls) either to team up to find a place or a room to rent in an existing share house. Not really keen on an apartment/unit. I'm staying with a friend when I first get to Brisbane and can stay there until around the end of Feb so I'm flexible with a move in date but would rather get somewhere more permanent sooner rather than later.
This charming, recently renovated worker's cottage in the heart of Paddington is 200m from cafes on Given Terrace, 100m from a direct bus to the city, 5min walk to Suncorp/Caxton Street and has plenty of on street parking. Coles and Woolworths are 3min drive or 15min walk. Gym 200m away. Brand new kitchen with gas cooktop, ceaser stone benchtop, dishwasher and butler's pantry, new bathrooms, paint job and carpets. Air conditioning in the living area which flows through to all bedrooms that all have ceiling fans. A wrap around verandah and cool deck area downstairs provide plenty of areas to have a BBQ or a dinner party. Unlimited wifi, bills (wifi, electricity and gas) approx $15-17/week, tenants are responsible for bill accounts. The room on offer fits a queen or double bed and a desk, shares the brand new main bathroom with one other female and already has a fixed wardrobe with a full length mirror.
We have a small puppy who loves cuddles. We both work and study full time so we wouldn't be around too much. Ideally we are looking for a granny flat but we are open to sharing with another couple or single. I study design and my partner studies media comms. We are friendly, clean and like a few drinks on the weekend.
Hello there, I am a French postgraduate student beginning my master at UQ this year. Last year I studied in Sydney and worked part-time in hospitality. Back in Sydney I used to share my flat with 5/6 roommates and truly enjoyed it, but today I am looking for a private room in a shared flat with fewer people, allowing me to focus more on my studies. I am a respectful, clean and outgoing person. If you are interested in sharing a flat with me, do not hesitate to contact me.
Get in QUICK! Not only will you be sharing with a funky bunch (Ava & I) but you will be sitting on the decks overlooking the city, swimming in the gorgeous pool, sleeping in the master bedroom upstairs, being serenaded by the music that Troy and friends play reguarly, enjoying interesting and challenging conversations, dining on whole foods, sipping kombucha and wine (not in the same glass!) and lving in one of the most beautiful residences in Paddington! OK... the pesky details. Kate (artist) is breaking the lease :( For no other reason than she has bought a home in NNSW (onya Kate). There is 6 mths left. I am hoping that we can extend it... We weclome single parents as there is a bedroom next door to yours! However, single, professionals or semi-professionals or non-professionals (HA!) are welcome. We don't discriminate. I work partly at home and partly away from home (daily) and partly in my mind... I have a little musical outfit and we get together in the home office a few times a week for communion (ah... musical only!). I have my daughter every other week. We have unlimted cable and Fetch TV (optus). All other bills are shared as well. We like to eat at home and, apart from the occassional treat, eat wholesomely. I am out the door about 3 -4 times per week at 4:00 AM to go rowing so the house works if you are a reasonably early-riser (not at 4 mind you!). There are creaky, but beautiful floorboards. And you. Who are you? Well, you have a quirky and inquisitive mind. You love an interesting conversation over a glass or bottle of wine. You have an interesting circle of friends and enjoy the freedom that renting a large house in beautiful Paddington... The rest, as they say, is up to you!
I am currently renting in Newmarket. I'm in the downstairs of a large Queenslander that was set up as a b&b and the other flatmate is an elderly man who is working and very easy to get along with. However, I would love to get into accommodation with younger and more vibrant people. I gym regularly, I have been in marketing and now moving into finance management at Natureworks - the No Poo Zoo out in Highvale in the jungle!! I use to spend every weekend working on my acreage in Samford. Now that I'm in the city I'm looking for people to hang out with on weekends and do anything social. NOT BINGO :) I have my own rockclimbing shoes; harness, I road cycle with the City Lifecycle, my boyfriend takes me jet skiing occasionally, however would be great to have people around me who are energetic, enthusiastic and adventurous to add to my life. Doing things that don't necessarily take a lot of $$ is great. I want to buy a house in inner city, but that's proving a challenge in this current market. I have 3 daughters all finished uni and living in city - doing their own thing. I do love to have the occasional dinner party with them. They are all bright, friendly and balanced. 2 with steady boyfriends, one on the prowl again :) I have Hungarian blood in me - so in the past I have loved to party but I am mellowing a little there and looking after my health more. I have a cousin from Hungary and his son coming to visit me for 3 weeks in February which I am excited about. I am very health conscious and would rather cook than buy takeaway. I'm very clean and neat and always happy to help if someone's doing it tough. I love to travel, however have to save for the next trip after 3 holidays last year - skiing, Barossa and a cruise. I do have my own friends who I see socially occasionally however they are all busy with their own families and usually not available to hang out with on weekends etc. I love celebrating family, Christmas, birthdays and just loving life.
A complete feen for binge watching back to back episodes of whatever is the flavour of the month, fooling myself into thinking i can work out regularly, making the perfect strawberry daiquiris and mostly zoning out with a book & solid Spotify playlist. Oh and I do have a full time job as well.
Relaxed friendly clean. Like art, sports, music, gardening and pets. I'm pretty easy going but not an early bird. Like to cook maybe share a few dinners and glass of wine. Work part time as a visual merchandiser, like to paint, garden and swim in my spare time. I'm originally from Melbourne and moved to Brisbane a yr ago. I have a 16 yr ok daughter u who would visit a few times a yr. I love all sports especially AFL abducted enjoy going to see live music. I also have a beautiful 9yr old dog , golden retriever / samoyed who I hope to bring up from Melbourne. She is quite friendly well trained and generally just loves company and to just hang out and watch the goings on of the house. Would love a chilled vibe with no dramas.
I make breakfasts that Ron Swanson would be proud of and always do dishes. Studying film at Griffith, delivering pizza, looking to live with a bunch of people who like to make cool stuff n talk about feminism n watch Broad City.
Hi future housemate, We have a lovely small house in a prime location in Paddington, we live just off Caxton st, perfect for anyone working in the city or students at either UQ or QUT. You can walk to the barracks (top of Caxton st) in 8 min, or queens street in 15 min, and a 25min walk along the river to Southbank. There is direct running/bike paths to UQ st Lucia (8km) and QUT (4km) from Suncorp stadium, or public transport options to practically anywhere. The house is fully furnished with internet, TV and Aircon. The room is on the small side and there is only one bathroom between three We are looking for someone to come take the room for a flexible amount of time. Preferably a student or young professional to keep match the lively nature of the house.
I work as a management consultant in the Brisbane CBD and am an easy going, clean and considerate housemate. I enjoy hanging out with friends, relaxing in my room, watching AFL, and exploring Brisbane and the coast on weekends. I'm looking to room with clean and considerate housemates of similar interests. I am travelling to Japan in early February for a short holiday and will be back mid Feb. I will be looking for new accommodation shortly after I return. If you are interested in rooming I'd be happy to meet you for a beer or coffee, please feel free to message me to organise a time to meet.
