My name is Kayla, I am a nurse up at RDH currently and doing post graduate studies, originally from outside Melbourne. I am an easy, laid back person, who enjoys living in a tidy enviroment. I am not OCD clean but do like being able to move around shared spaces without the fear of standing on something. I love getting outdoors and as such, when I have a few days off work am rarely at home, which is quiet often during the dry. As a shift worker, I am not a huge party person but I do enjoy a quiet drink or two on the weekend. I am well known for having music on and can often be found dancing around the house as I do things. I love cooking and baking and find it a fantastic way to unwind and relax after a busy day. My budget is flexible as well as my move in and length of stay date. Prefence would be for something until at least the end of the dry/Christmas. Preference for room would be unfurnished as I own a bed, bedside tables, lamps etc up here. If you are keen to start a share house, I have enough furniture in storage in Melbourne for a 2 bedroom place plus my room of things up here.

Hi I'm Carrie, a Canadian nurse on working holiday in Australia since November. I've recently started a new job at RDH and looking for a furnished room to rent. I'm very tidy, responsible and respectful. Friendly, good communicator, not a hard partier but like to relax with wine or beer sometimes. Love animals, getting outside to walk, hike or push bike. Like to cook and try to eat healthy.
I'm Nicole, work will bring me to Darwin in August for six months. Clean, easy to get along with and respectable, I would love to get a place with NBN and/or covered parking. Super keen to explore the top end while the dry lasts, so willing to adventure companions would be great! Down for beers, board games when im not on the pc (is there frisbee in Darwin?)
Hello internet friends!! My name is Jackie, I am from Canada, and I am making the move up to Darwin from Adelaide. I'll be working close to the airport so I'm looking for something with easy access to public transport. Looking for something furnished. I'd like to live with other active, outgoing people. I always respect my housemates space, and keep a clean and tidy area. I am looking for something for 3 months, with the possibility of longer stay. I am a non-smoker, and I do not care if you have pets. Cheers, thanks :)
We have a furnished room available in a breezy, fully furnished tropical house in Fannie Bay. One of the walls in the room is louvered, which means you would have to consider your privacy levels, in terms of noise. The room includes a double bed, built in robes and a desk and you'll be overlooking a luscious garden each morning. The house is walking distance to Parap markets as well as Fannie Bay and East Point.
Hey guys, I'm Nghi! I've recently graduated uni in Adelaide and moving to Darwin to work in Allied Health. I'm tidy, clean and respectful. I enjoy keeping fit through outdoor activities and the gym. Ideally I'm looking for a place to stay for 3 months or more :).
I'm a lawyer who has moved from Broken Hill to Darwin. I'm interested in poetry, politics and Hip Hop. I am considerate of communal sound and space. I'm looking for a home where I can read, write and unwind. I'm tidy, clean and respectful. I like to cook, but forget to when work is busy.
1 room available in 3 bedroom house in Parap, 100 metres from Parap Village markets and Laneway cafe. Large shared bathroom with one other Scottish female. Huge gourmet kitchen for those that love cooking. Great outdoor and BBQ area. Plenty of room to sit outside and relax or to grow a vege garden if that's your thing. Yard and spa are maintained by landlord who lives in a unit on the block meaning you don't have to do a thing outdoors. Sorry, no pets as there are already 2 big friendly dogs on the property. A female with a mature outlook is preferred. Wi-Fi and electricity included.
Hi, I'm Laura! I've recently graduated uni and I'm about to move to Darwin from northern Victoria for work. I'm clean and tidy, and I love cooking, keeping active and socializing. I'm hoping to find somewhere to stay for anywhere from 6 months up to 2 years. Ideally, I'd love to move in with someone of a similar age who's also working, and happy to either show me around or explore Darwin together!
I'm coming to Darwin to work for the Darwin Festival as the Bars Manager until the 10th of September and am looking for a furnished room for the length of my stay. I am quite sociable but also respect others space and privacy. I love to share meals and love to cook. I will be working very nocturnal hours during the activation of the festival so will not be around the house a lot during the evenings from the 7-27th of August .
Hey Guys, I've recently moved here from Adelaide & have begun work as a Charter Pilot, so i'm looking for a place relatively close to the airport. I enjoy keeping fit & eating fairly healthy, as well as a few beers or wines from time to time. I love the outside, and taking advantage of this amazing weather by going for long walks or bike rides (This is starting to sound like a dating profile isn't it?) I'm a non-smoker, but I don't get offended if people around me do. I can be pretty talkative, but know when to give people their space, I also love animals, so if you have pets, i'll probably like them more than I like you ;)
I’m a 27 year old accounting professional who is friendly, quiet, easy going and enjoys keeping active. I'm new to Darwin from NSW. I'm quiet during the week and enjoy getting out and keeping active on weekends. I am also tidy and respectful of others space. I cycle and play golf and tennis for fun. Also enjoy a quiet drink on the weekends.
I'm living in palmy at the moment - only been in Darwin for a month. 😄 Both current housemates are leaving the territory and I'd like to move closer to the city. I'm an occupational therapist. I like to be active, I bake goodies and I like to keep the house clean. 😍🤗 I need my own space on occasion but I love a beverage or two or three 😜
Hi, my name is Cat and I'm 28, Australian and have lived in Darwin for 7 years in total. I work at a skin care clinic and recently changed career from the social/welfare industry. Nico is 32, French, and a carpenter. We are a recently married couple who intend to remain in Darwin permanently. We are both clean, tidy and respectful. We have 2 small dogs who sleep inside and are very well-trained, friendly, and registered. At our current house the gates are left open and there is a kitten; they have been amazing with this adjustment. I also regularly bath them. We are friendly and social, and able to give people space. I am more bubbly and talkative then Nico. Nico is an amazing cook. We are both proactive with cleaning up after ourselves and household chores. I have a move in date for "now" because we are ready to move now but can be flexible with a move in date. We are looking to remain in the Northern suburbs to keep within a close distance of our friends.
Looking for a new amazing housemate to join me in my large Parap apartment. The apartment is in a great location across the road from the Parap shopping centre (and Saturday markets) a short drive into the city and a nice walk to Fannie Bay and East Point. It is also incredibly quiet! The bedroom is a big size with built in mirrored robes, airconditioner and ceiling fan. The room can be furnished or unfurnished. You would have a large bathroom to yourself. The apartment has a large open living area with a big kitchen and walk in pantry. There is a seperate laundry with a washing machine and dryer. The open living area opens up onto the balcony which is great for enjoying the sunset! There is also a swimming pool available for your use :) Undercover parking available. Please contact me through text or email only. No couples or backpackers. FIFO's more than welcome. Our apartment building is behind the quest which is an Inpex pick up and drop off point if you happen to work out there :)
I work odd hours at the airport and usually asleep when at home. Very neat and tidy and respect other people's privacy. But I do enjoy a good chat and laugh. A granny flat would be more suitable as to be considerate to other housemates due to 11pm starts or 3 am finishing times for my shifts.
We have 1 room available in a furnished house in Parap. The whole house is furnished except for the room available. The house is open plan, spacious and cool in the wet season. You are less than a 5 minute walk to Parap Markets, a 10 minute drive to Casuarina and 5 minute drive to the city. The room is quite spacious and can fit a queen bed, bedside tables and TV. Wifi is included in the weekly rent.
I'm a 28 year old female. I have been living and working in the tourism industry in the red centre and have just relocated to Darwin. I'm friendly, easy going and respectful. I will be working full time including some weekends and early mornings. Outside of work I enjoy reading, having a cold beer and discovering new places. I'm ideally looking for social housemates that don't mind having a drink and a chat but can also respect that we all need our own space sometimes. I enjoy being outdoors so a place with a garden would also be great. I would prefer to live with singles around the same age.
