Outgoing, laid back, health care professional, I enjoy being outside and active, running and cycling usually, whilst also appreciating down time, reading books and hanging out. Clean and tidy, non smoker, I'm looking to socialise and get along with the people I live with and hopefully go exploring on the weekends! Moving to Darwin from Alice Springs early June :)
We have two rooms available in a breezy, fully furnished tropical house in Fannie Bay. The first is a self contained, fully furnished granny flat underneath the house. The room includes own bathroom and shower, kitchenette and fridge. This would ideally suit a couple and the starting cost is $300. The granny flat includes a wardrobe, storage space and airconditioning. The second room is part of the main house and includes a bed, desk and wardrobe. You would be sharing kitchen and bathroom with two ladies.

We are two girls (28 and 31) looking for a new amazing housemate to join us in our large Parap apartment. The apartment is in a great location across the road from the Parap shopping centre (and Saturday markets) a short drive into the city and a nice walk to Fannie Bay and East Point. It is also incredibly quiet! The bedroom is a big size with built in mirrored robes, airconditioner and ceiling fan. The room is unfurnished. You would be sharing the large bathroom with the huge shower with one of us girls. Our apartment has a large open living area with a big kitchen and walk in pantry. We have a seperate laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Our open living area opens up onto the balcony which is great for enjoying the sunset! Our apartment also has a swimming pool available for your use :) Please contact us through text or email only. No couples or backpackers. FIFO's more than welcome. Our apartment building is behind the quest which is an Inpex pick up and drop off point if you happen to work out there :)
I have recently moved to Darwin and am working full-time at the hospital. I am friendly, laid back and enjoy good company but am also happy to keep to myself. I enjoy the outdoors, a casual drink with friends, and going out for breakfast. I am tidy but not a neat freak. I would prefer a place either near the city or hospital, however, would be open to most locations around Darwin if the house is right.
HAy there, I am polite and respectful, clean and tidy. Work casually and don't mind having a few drinks on the weekend and company once a week but I do also enjoy my private time, reading, writing , exercise and cooking . Looking for a housemate who is also clean and chilled. Hope to hear from you soon. :)
We are both proactive and considerate/respectful housemates. We clean up after ourselves and assist with house hold duties. We are well mannered. Nico is a little more quiet then myself, I am very bubbly. We are able to give people space/respect privacy or be social. We get married on the 1st of June. We are not a couple who argues or bickers - or yells! We have 2 small, friendly and well-trained dogs who sleep inside with us and usually inside/outside during the day. They currently live with a cat who tries to attack them - both have a great temperament and have not shown any aggression. They do not "nuisance bark". Nico is an amazing cook and is often making cakes/desserts! I am Australian and Nico is French, I have been in Darwin for almost 7 years and we live in Darwin permanently. During the week we are pretty quiet as we both work and we try to get out and about on Friday/Saturday nights.
G'day! I'm Stefan and I'm moving to Darwin the pursue my dream job. I am a Veterinarian by day and this typically takes up a heck of a lot of time, so when I get time off I like to use it! On days/nights off you might find me studying, at the gym or jumping around in a park somewhere. Typically I keep to myself but given the chance, I definitely enjoy a casual drink and am always down for a chat. I'm tidy, always clean up after myself and can definitely pull my weight when it comes to general cleaning/maintenance. I may be fairly useless as a cook but I'm great at washing up and bringing back takeaway!
I'm a 28 year old female. I have been living and working in the tourism industry in the red centre and have just relocated to Darwin. I'm friendly, easy going and respectful. I will be working full time including some weekends and early mornings. Outside of work I enjoy reading, having a cold beer and discovering new places. I'm ideally looking for social housemates that don't mind having a drink and a chat but can also respect that we all need our own space sometimes. I would prefer to live with singles around the same age.
You get your own self contained unit with separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living area. Huge yard and massive balcony. So close to Parap village (across the road) and only 10 minutes from the CBD! Beautiful leafy streets and great breezes. Couples welcome but rent will change.
I'm neat, clean & don't mind helping out around the house. I'm easy to get along with & I am respectful of other's. I'm a commercial pilot & professional flight instructor; I work long hours including weekends, early mornings & late nights.
Hi all! I'm 22 moving to Darwin from Adelaide on May 15th for work. I'm looking for a room somewhere relatively close to the CBD to move in within the next few weeks of me relocating. A furnished room would be preferable but happy to get my own stuff if the right place comes up. I keep to myself most of the time but do like having a beer and a chat. I'll be travelling to Alice Springs once a month and to Adelaide every couple of months. Feel free to send me a message to find out more!
Hello everyone, I am a full time Public Servant working Monday to Friday. I am financially stable, quiet, clean. I am relocating to Darwin for work in the city. I know Darwin well and simply need a room where I can base myself. I use the internet so would appreciate an internet package. I am also easy going and relaxed and travel a lot for work so won't be home all the time. Flexible on shared living and happy to see what is out there. Cost sharing etc I am very flexible. I am a non-smoker and light weekend drinker only. The move will happen in late June or early July so I am flexible on what is possible. I will reply to all messages.
I am a very down to earth, very friendly, very clean male, that enjoys the spare time i do get.. Currently studying Cert 3 & 4 in Hospitality & Tourism at CDU Palmerston.. Lead a pretty bust life, as when i am not attending CDU, i work on a casual basis, with Corestaff Darwin
I am moving to Darwin to commence a lady lawyer working life--social justice law, not the money type. I would love to find myself a granny flat--permitting the right amount of social house mate plays, and quiet alone contemplation time. I love a cozy home environment, ponder: veggie garden, dinner parties, a red vino and a good ol' post-day debrief, a fire pit in the back yard, chuck some fairy lights on it all, a cheeky trip to the pub/life time goal of becoming a regular at the local. I love travelling, food, camping, hiking, beach extravaganza weekends, music and art, and riding ma bike. I like a mix of hermit life and socialising. I'll be working full time (and travelling a fair bit with work) and may sometimes be up for a midweek funtime, but will for the majority be knuckling down profesh style in my job. I'm respectful of peoples differences and needs and believe in open communication. Get amongst it.
Cosy room available for short or medium term rent in a recently renovated two-bedroom townhouse in Parap with lovely yard and located adjacent to park. The room comes furnished including queen bed with new mattress plus linen and towels, bedside tables, chair and built in wardrobe. The room has two windows, a ceiling fan and air con. The bathroom is shared. Very quiet house and neighbourhood, perfect for relaxing on the deck. Close to Parap Village including restaurants, shops and Saturday markets. Beach is within walking distance and good public transport connection available to get into town. Onsite parking available for your car. We are looking to rent the room out to one person only, sorry no couples, as our townhouse might feel too crowded otherwise. Length of stay is short to medium as we are expecting friends to visit and stay at various times during the coming dry season. Please contact me to have a chat to find out more.
