I’m from the Gold Coast and have just moved up to Darwin for work. I am friendly, easy going and keep pretty active and like to get outdoors when I can (will probably drag you on adventures or to a waterfall at some point). Looking for a place to call home and meet some awesome people :). Non smokers only please :). 3-6 months to start but possibly longer.
Hi there! I’m Julie, a local Terratorian looking for a new home and a chill flatmate to share it with. I work full time in NT Government and study part time, am a morning person and enjoy an active lifestyle. I’m looking for a professional who would like to team up and sign a lease on an apartment near or in Darwin city. I am clean, tidy and have lived in shared accommodation for a few years and know the ropes. I do prefer to have a regular cleaner for basic house maintenance. I’m fairly social, love the outdoors/camping but also enjoy time to myself cooking and getting creative. Shoot me a message if you think we’d get along! :)
Hey, myself and my friend Bronte have both just moved from Brisbane and are in stable jobs in Darwin city and casurina! We are looking for either two bedrooms in a share house or a third person/couple/travel buddies, to go into something with us! We are outgoing and friendly we can sit and drink or keep to ourselves! We keep tidy and are very friendly 😁😁
25 year old girl. I'm tidy, tend to keep to myself somewhat. I work in rehab in aged care, which is why I moving up to the NT. I have a cat who thinks she's a dog. I train muay thai and play roller derby. Easy to get along with. Sometimes I cook and when I do I always share.

We live in a breezy tropical house in Parap. Our house is elevated with floor to ceiling louvres all around. Close to the markets, you can wander down on a Saturday morning, grab a laksa and eat it on our deck, which overlooks the lush garden. There is also a little plunge pool to cool off in during those build-up months. The room is average-sized. It fits a queen bed easily. The real perk of the room is the huge built-in wardrobe that covers an entire wall. A bathroom is shared with two other housemates. The rest of the house is furnished so you would only need to kit out your room (the bed pictured is available for purchase). The room is available from 15 August.
Hi there, I am arriving in Darwin on the 16th of Aug and am looking for a nice place to call home. I will be working fulltime and am wanting a place near the cbd, or in areas not too far from cbd. I will have access to a car, and would consider either a furnished or non furnished property. I will have a pet that will arrive eventually in Darwin but at the moment I’m looking for accommodation just for me. I am reliable, trustworthy, outgoing and enjoy both time alone and time with others. I’m clean and tidy and always pay my bills on time. If you’re looking for an awesome flatmate please contact me. Short term room needed initially. Thanks
Hey guys, I'm a 31yo guy! I work for a children's charity, and I also perform stand up comedy too when I can. I moved to Darwin a few months ago, but i am just looking for somewhere new to live. I love to be surrounded by positive, busy and fun people, who like to socialize, but also happy to chill out too. I am clean, reliable, and easy to get on with. If you like dad jokes and puns, then I'm your guy! I'm fairly flexible with when I move too, so send me a message and I'll be in touch, I put down September 22nd, but it can be sooner for sure, thanks guys! Pete
Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). While you're looking for your perfect flatmate I could fill the gap for you too (or it could be me!). I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
My name is Kelly and I’m moving from Perth to Darwin towards the end of August :) I am a nurse so will be working full time shift work. I have lived in a share house for the past two years. I am very easy going, friendly, caring, considerate, tidy and am always up for a laugh and a chat with house mates but also do my own thing. I love the outdoors, travel, music, food, nature, the beach.. I am very keen to explore Darwin and see what life in the NT is all about :) I am looking for a place that I can relax in after work and feel at home. I am also really hoping to bring my dog up with me as soon as possible so a place that allows pets is ideal. Otherwise I’m happy for a short term rental whilst I find a place that suits pets for the long term. Dog wise I have a very loving staffy x whippet (5ish months old) who can be outdoor only if need be. Any further questions send me a message! :)
Hi my name is Sabine and I am a friendly and respectfull person. Unfortunately due to a floor issue in my current appartment I have to move out when work construction will commence. I am a landlord of a property in Perth myself and I will treat the place I live in with respect. I also run a cleaning business in Perth and you will get a very clean flatmate with me. I do like a quite and relaxed place and wish to share it with a nice person. No Alcoholics and druggies, had my share of that already. I am working in the tourism Industry and it would be important to come home and be able and rest after a long day at work. I do like sport, dancing and socialising but I will do that outsite my living space. At home I like to rest and chill. If anybody is a peacefull person, who like and cares for animals, nature and healthy living I would like to hear from you. I do love dogs and would be happy to share with someone who has a dog, also happy to do free walks...
The property is in a great location with city, garden and ocean views. The complex is very modern with a great pool/entertaining area. The apartment itself is nice and large with an open balcony which is great to spend alot of time on admiring the view.
This property is central Parap. It’s a 5 minutes drive from Darwin CBD and 15-20 minutes walk. Public transport is near also. The apartment is spacious, modern and easy to maintain. The property comes fully finished. Fridge, washing machine, dryer, dinning table, lounge suit, television, outdoor finishing and the bedroom has a queen bed with mattress. You have your own bathroom and carpark. All you need is bedding and roll up with your suitcase.
Live with some awesome travellers and australians at the same time who know how to make a share house a home. Swimming pool and pool table to keep entertainment at a high, as well as WiFi to get your netflix fix. Animal friendly, currently two dogs, two snakes (who do not roam around free!) And four ducks (who sometimes roam free). Right next to the beach and often we take the boat out for a sunset cruise with some beers. Always trying to enjoy our days off together but always considerate of those working. If you're not quite over the hostel buzz but need to live that much cheaper, just hit us up. People always stay longer then they plan here at bleeser street :)
Heading to Darwin from WA for work. Looking for a nice room (preferably furnished) and some easy going housemates who are up for weekend outdoor adventures and casual drinks. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy a good balance of being social and having my own space. I'm an Occupational Therapist and love playing and listening to music in my spare time. If you can put up with a bit of singing and not make fun of me for watching Home & Away every night, then I could be the house mate you're looking for!
Easy going, Adelaide born and raise. Seeking accommodation for my relocation over to Darwin in October. I’m a full-time government employee who typically likes to wind down after work throughout the week but still enjoy the occasional chat/bonding sesh.
