Hey there, I'm Orchid (as in the flower), Left in photo. I'll be stating a new job at the Townsville hospital on a temporary contract from 23rd October, moving from Brisbane. I don't like writing about myself, but I'm nice, helpful, clean, tidy. I like meeting new people & socialising, happy to keep to myself also. I have a car and enjoy exploring new places, events (eg, gigs/festivals, beaches, lakes, mountains/parks, cafes/restaurants/bars) Don't worry, I do cook. Unfortunately, sorry I can't accept living with smokers. Thank you. Looking forward to hear from you soon :)
Pay ALL my bills on time, quiet, clean & non-smoker, social drinker. Hi As you can see my name is Glenn, 56, born in Ingham & grown up on & off in Townsville. Looking for a large furnished/unfurnished room in the above areas. If furnished, I have linen for a Queen size bed so am looking for the same to suit. Unfurnished, I'll buy my own QS bed. I also have my own fridge/freezer which I would like to use & a large flat-screen TV which I will use in my room. I will gladly negotiate extra electricity payments if needed so no-one is out of pocket for my uses. I stick to myself mostly, social drinker, no drugs or cigarettes, wild parties etc. Lol! Bit past that now :) I have pretty bad arthritis of the spine & so do not work full-time but I do repair computers that keeps my head above water :) I have no problems paying my bills and the only reason I am leaving my current addy, which I have been here for over two years, is the landlord & his partner are having a second child & needs the room. I do have a work bench for the computers, on wheels & some tools and a few computers etc., so I will need somewhere to keep/work on those & I have a 4WD land-cruiser Wagon. About the only social event I do is play competition pool, so somewhere with a pool table would be ideal, but I don't really expect something like that :) Any other questions, please feel free to ask. I am looking for a permanent place to live, getting too old to be moving about. I will be applying for a Housing Commission Unit, but they can take a while to come through, so I don't want to be holding my breath :) Cheers Glenn
Looking at moving to Townsville from Brisbane. I have a 3 yr old Fox terrier called Koda who is friendly and playful. I will be looking for work as soon as I move up there but I have enough savings to pay rent in the mean time without money stresses. I play field hockey and am part of the Scouting movement so there might be weeks where I'm home heaps or barely there. I clean up after myself and don't like a super messy house. I'm open minded and out going. :)
It is unsuitable for me to live at home. I earn just over $500 a fortnight and will be able to afford rent and help with groceries and anything else. I have 1 dog who doesn’t like to be around other dogs
I will be moving to Townsville for 3 months on a secondment at the hospital, starting mid November 2017 until the end of February 2018. I'm currently living and working in Mount Isa, and am a young health professional. I have lived in a number sharehouses and am originally from Brisbane. I will be working full-time at the Townsville Hospital and am easy going, clean and friendly.
I’m easy to get along with. Love animals. Clean and tidy person. I like to keep to myself but I also enjoy going out and having fun. I am not currently studying as I’ve taken a gap year and am going to commence my studies in 2018 for nursing and midwifery.
I get along with pretty much everyone and I am considerate to others when it comes noise and drinking, etc. I like to keep things tidy and always clean up after myself when cooking and doing other various household stuff. I can do outside work (i.e. mowing) as I grew up on a farm and I always pitch in with housework. I'm a full-time uni student and I have a casual job at the Cowboys stadium. I have a small dog (Foxie/Jack Russel mix) named Trevor who I wish to bring with me otherwise I will have to dump him on my parents again. He is a lovely dog - doesn't bite, gets along well with everyone and other animals. I am also a non-smoker (but have no issues with people who do smoke) and I have my own transportation.
I'm currently in my 3rd year of Veterinary Science at JCU, I consider myself easy-going and sociable. I do enjoy my own space for study and don't consider myself the biggest party-goer as uni is pretty full-on during the semester, but I certainly enjoy a drink or two after exams! In my spare time, I like exercising, socialising, and binge-watching tv.
My name is Nazli and I live with my husband. Both of us are PhD student. I am about to finish my study and will leave Townsville as soon as I find a job. My husband will finish 4 months later so we are looking for a temporary accommodation. We are very sociable and love a chat but also very happy just doing our own thing.
Hi, I'm Bethany, 22, and I'm moving to Townsville in January 2018 to study an MSc in Marine Biology at JCU. Originally from the UK, I'm easy going and sociable and enjoy casual drinking at local bars, watching live music and good old cheese, wine, and Netflix nights. I also love to travel and dive alongside adventuring and hiking in the great outdoors. I am a clean, tidy and respectful housemate who has lived in shared accommodation for the past three years, so I understand the ins and outs of shared living. Happy to live with males or females.
Hi, I am a 20yr old male. work full time for a local company in Townsville, which has me flying here there and everywhere for work. I don't spend a great deal of time in Townsville itself so I'm no bother, love a drink or 10 on my days off, originally from the sunshine coast so the beach is my only love yep, single too so no annoying partners to come over and get in the way. I have a car (land cruiser troopy) would love for it to be sheltered when I'm away if possible, and a Harley and dirt bike which if there isn't room for I can re locate. apart from that I live out of a suitcase...oh and I'm a diesel fitter by trade so if your cars broken I'm sure we can do something about it ;) gym, bikes, camping love to travel, love meeting new people, and a drink.....or 10 haha oh and triple j.....
Hey there, my name is Paulina. I'm currently looking for new place to live as my housemate is moving out in December. I'm a registered nurse at Townsville Hospital, clean and tidy, quite sociable and bubbly - I'm really easy to get along with I don't smoke, I exercise a fair bit, love netflix and am a sucker for Mexican food and coffee. I love animals, don't have any of my own, but if you do its all good.
Hey, I'm moving to Townsville to study an MSc in Aquaculture at JCU sometime in January/February. Originally from the UK, I love to travel, be outdoors, go diving and anything to do with the ocean. I'm easy going, laid back, clean and happy to live with pets.
Hey guys :) I have recently moved from Sydney to Townsville to study full-time at JCU, and am looking to move into a share house shortly to meet new people. I am very clean and quiet, and keep quite busy most days thanks to uni/work/gym. I do like to socialise though and occasionally go out on weekends, enjoy a bevvy or two but am not a crazy party animal and respect everyone's privacy (mostly go to bed early like a nanna) I also happen to have two friendly doggos who are moving with me, they are both purely outside dogs and love pats/treats/cuddles etc (also are excellent guard dogs.. not aggressive at all but will bark if is someone at the fence) I know it's a big ask to move into an existing house with dogs but they are very well behaved and would be solely looked after by myself.
I'm 28 f working in admin. I enjoy exercising, eating cheese and wine, baking and having Netflix binges. I'm easy going and chilled roommate. Clean and tidy the usual. Would prefer to have 1 or 2 housemates and my own bathroom would be a nice bonus!
Hi there! I'm a 24 year old health professional. I work full time and usually keep to myself when I am home but can also be social. I'm in the process of building my own house so I am looking for somewhere to live until the end of January.
I'm a laidback guy looking for somewhere to live for 6 months at the start of next year. I'm a full time vet student so I'll be bust most of the time, but I love hanging out in the evenings or over the weekend. I love animals, love the outdoors and love sport. Certainly not a neat freak but will always help out around the house.
Tidy and respectful. Have lived in share-accommodation previously so have the etiquette down-pat. I work full-time and travel for work often but also do work from home on occasion. Career-minded but live to travel. As social as my work-life allows but also enjoy some down time. Love animals, music, sports, nature, and technology. Not interested in living in a negative environment; I'm not desperately in need of housemates but enjoy the social aspect so looking for positive, motivated, outgoing, and respectful people only.
I am currently an International student from the United States. I am studying at James Cook University for one semester from Jan-31 to mid-late June is when I will need a place to stay, and hopefully, we will become great friends! I am a Marine Biology major, interested in marine mammals specifically. I am interested in any water sports, photography, and just up for any adventure! I have shared apartments and dorm rooms before, I know the boundaries. I clean up after myself, I am not loud, especially when it comes to partying. I am overall a respectful person, and will hopefully be welcome in your home!
Just moved to Towsnville because i got work with Eagle Drilling in Charters Towers. Currently on a working away roster doing 2 weeks on 1 week off. I'm tindy, laidback and reliable. Preferably looking for somewhere in the Douglas area or close to the Uni.
I am easy going, tidy and quiet. I like to do my own thing but I am very responsible and always willing to get involved with the day to day requirements of a well functioning home. I like to live life in a quiet and thoughtful manner. I am very respectful of other peoples belief systems and lifestyles and expect no less. I am very good to live with and believe communal living makes sense and will be part of my future.
