I'm a chef who loves to cook and entertain people. I'd love to share a house with a friendly bunch. My ideal share-house would have housemates from different walks of life, bringing different experiences and stories to the table. I have been living in share houses for a few years and know to respect others space. Having said that, I do love to hangout with the housemates and share a meal or a few drinks every now and then. I'm a bit of a neat freak and slightly OCD, which as I've learned is a good thing when living in a shared space. I like having things neat and tidy and in their places. Hit me up if you think I'll be a good fit to your house. :)
I am a full-time engineer. I am on 3 weeks on 1 week off roster. So basically most of the time I will work away from home. I am looking for an unfurnished room in a furnished house/flat/apartment. I have own bed. Or if you have storage for putting my bed is also fine. I am pretty quiet and care about hygiene. Especially not a party animal if it comes to that. I am a non-smoker and don't have a pet. I expect reasonable rental since I will not be at home most of the time. I like cooking in my spare time and share my cooking especially good at Asian food. And at same time do some jogging along the beach.
Having lived around the globe in rented properties with housemates from a varied background I have developed my expertise in being adaptable, respecting personal space and timely payment of bills. Besides, My cleanliness standards are reasonably average (Not suffering from OCD) and hence I would be a perfect housemate to someone who possesses this attribute. There is a lot to me and it would take ages to draft it all in this box so it would be better if we could catch up for a cuppa and chat in order to ascertain if we could be housemates. I would prefer a place in close proximity to the city, public transport, supermarket, and a gym. Ideally on/close to ANZAC highway, between stop 3 to 10. I don't have any pets but I do love them, especially dogs and bunnies! HMU.
Hi There! My name is Tia and I am looking for a safe and comfortable place to call home. I am currently studying criminology and psychology at Flinders University which I’m hoping will lead to a career as a criminologist or forensic psychologist. I am easy to get along with and love to joke around and have fun. I love going to concerts and gigs whenever I can, but contrary to that I also enjoy quiet leisure activities like playing my PS4, reading and watching Netflix (how good was Mindhunter?!) when my busy uni schedule allows me. I pull my weight with chores and housework and like to keep things clean and tidy. I am looking for a room that’s around $150pw if bills are not included, however if bills are included in rent I can manage up to around $170-$180pw. Non-furnished rooms are not a problem. If there are pets in the house I count that as a plus! Smokers are also not an issue but I am a non-smoker myself. I am also interested in starting a share house with one other person, perhaps around the Ashford/Glandore area (close to South Rd or Anzac Highway). If anyone is interested shoot me a message! Thank you for reading my profile, I hope to hear from you soon! :)
Just finished my uni degree, studying to get my builders license at TAFE. Currently working as a maths tutor, bartender and volleyball coach. Looking for rent at or below $200 a week. No preference on genders to live with. In my spare time I play volleyball, practice jiujitsu and play video games. I have one dog (black lab) who would stay on some nights I'm not working. He's an excellent doggo, friendly and well mannered :) Looking to move out ASAP. Generally very clean and willing to help clean my fair share of the house. Hit me up if you think I'd fit in at your place.
I am a fun and kind young professional working in health research. I am very organised and like to keep tidy. I love spending time outdoors and being active. I will help in household chores and love to cook! I will be a friendly but respectful housemate.
I am an Indian student enrolled for Masters Programme at UniSA. I'm easy to live with, not very fussy and will help with the household duties and keep the house clean. I enjoy my privacy but at the same time I would be up for a beer and hanging out whenever needed :)
I am always up for family dinners, spontaneous adventures and movie nights. I am looking for somewhere that isn’t just a house but a home that will be tidy and also environmentally conscious.
I'm from Melbourne and I am studying at the University of Adelaide. I am clean, quiet and respectful. My program requires 70 hours plus per week, so you won't see or hear much from me. I do enjoy having a laugh, good food and wine, films, travelling, skiing, photography and more.
We are 2 french guys looking for an accommodation, send me a message if ypu need informations. See you Lucas
Hi all, my name is Amber and I'm looking for a relaxed, pet friendly environment to call home for me and my pets. Although I am not currently working or studying, I have been focusing on getting my Learners permit and looking for any available work to help me further build my skills in the hospitality industry. In my spare time I like to spend time with friends and family as well as achieving personal fitness goals through outdoor recreational activities (such as hiking/bush-walking and climbing) and HIIT. I love animals, especially extraordinary pets such as my pet rats which are very friendly and normally stay in their enclosure, however, I do like to let them out to play. Baking is something I really enjoy and if you enjoy vegan sweet treats I am happy to share. Despite being vegan myself, I believe each to their own, I'm not bothered by non vegan diets. Looking to live with up to two friendly and considerate housemates around my age. I would prefer an unfurnished room as I have my own furniture to provide and can add furniture to the home if you need/would like :) Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind regards, Amber :)
My name is Akshay and I am a Mechanical Engineer working in the mining sector. I am a very clean and tidy person who loves to exercise and stay very active throughout the week. I am an early to bed early to rise type of person. I am looking for a place which is preferably close to or around the CBD.
Hey everyone, Looking to rent a room, preferably along the Westside Bikeway (Camden Park to Mile End) would be ideal, but I'm open to nearby options. I’m a foodie and I work full time in the imported gourmet food industry - your great food and wine are actually my job! I have very good history with sharing accomodation, both agencies and privates. I'm tidy, social and respectful. Non smoker and mostly into healthy lifestyle. When I’m not home I like cycling, road-trips and anything you can do outdoors, rock climbing, 4x4, camping, and more. When I'm home, if I'm not doing any work-related email catching-up, I'm open to socialising during dinner or a glass of wine if that's the type of house, otherwise I respect other peoples' spaces and quiet times and I expect the same. Details aside, feel free to contact me and we'll see how we go from there. Some random facts: - I have saved thousands of marine turtles in Mexico; - I'm Italian but I don't like soccer; - I also speak Spanish, and it'd be great to practice my French PS: lastly, the only reason why I want to move is that my current place can get a bit noisy at night, and I do need quiet nights during the week 🤫
Just ya standard friendly, vego, slightly awkward pal. Between study (psych at unisa) and work (part-time hospo work/part-time tennis coaching/part-time tutoring) I spend my time hanging out with friends and family, rock-climbing, hiking and just about anything else outdoorsy. I'm a fairly easy-going person and always up to chat/hang out/go on a bit of an adventure/whatever floats ya boat really (but also really value alone time). (A fair warning though, I love puns and will sneak one into conversation whenever I can).
We are easy-going, enjoy being with others and we adapt easily. Joph also speaks filipino and my first langage is French, but we always speak English together and with others. :) Joph is a student at TAFE in the city and I will start my uni course in Flinders by February. We enjoy going to the beach, and eat in the city sometimes! Looking forward to being your flat mates ;-)
My name is John, I'm a 29-year-old Scottish healthcare professional who has recently moved to Adelaide for work. I'm a coffee lover, vego foodie and enjoy good conversation. I'm into nature and the simple life. I've lived over 20 different people excluding family so I know the ropes of share houses. I have a contract until February 2020 so something longer term would suit but can also be flexible.
I'm plant based, i love to cook and bake so there will always be treats in the house. I play acoustic guitar, I love art and I also have a pet blue tongue lizard. I'm currently at tafe studying hairdressing too.
I'm a mature trans woman who can be social when appropriate, and self-contained when not. I respect other people's privacy and property. I'm not much of a green thumb but do well with destructive gardening activities. I am pretty handy around the house - I have my own power tools and know how to use them safely. I have worked in IT for the last 22 years. As such, I'm pretty handy with helping out with tech matters. I am between roles right now, but when I am earning, I do so in the low 6 figure range. I am looking not just for a room for me, but for a place that has a rumpus area (or similar) that I can use for recording podcasts with half a dozen friends a couple of nights a week. I've just had to downsize from a 3BR house, so I still have a fair amount of stuff that I need room for as well. (Most of it is in plastic tubs and can be stacked vertically.) Note: Thanks to factors beyond my control, I have a hard limit for rent of $148/week at the moment. I can pay separately for utilities/internet but the rent has to be below that number. Bond can probably be fudged if I pay an extra week or two.
Easy going guy, friendly and pretty sociable. I’m a 26 year old male and work as an armed security officer. Born in Adelaide, but travel and have lived overseas a fair bit. Just back from a few years living in the UK.
hi everyone, i am a smart and honest woman with good sense of humor, i am from colombia and i am going to study in Adelaide; i like watching movies and go to walk outside in the parks in the free time. I am just looking to live with a clean and respectful flatmate
I work full time as a construction labourer. I'm open minded with a social personality. Introvert at times but always down for a good chat. Good at connecting with people and understanding the dynamics of interpersonal differences, races and agendas. I Like to keep things clean, practical and generally functional and positive. Not the best at cooking But I can batch up some killer Bacon n Eggs / Mi Goreng! Love the ocean/ Mt Lofty walks/ Working out when I can And Random adventures! Music, movies, gaming, skating and dancing! Always down for Netflix binges! & long conversation (dnm's or little talks)
Hi my name is Shannon, I am 24. I am studying youth work, not currently working but looking for it. When I do work it’s usually in the hospitality industry as a waitres, front of house staff. I don’t have anything pets but if you have them thats perfectly fine as I love them. I don’t smoke but am 420 friendly also. I am an easy going girl girl, more of a laid back type. I am social but more of an out the house social kind of person. I drink sometimes. I keep to myself but am more then happy to also be friends with my house mates if they are open to that as honestly I think the best house mates are ones you can have a laugh with! If anyone has any questions let’s me know please. I am really eagar to find somewjere affordable as I feel more myself living out of home. I love them independent feeling that comes with it. I also clean up after myself and will respect my house mates wishes and needs. PLEASE MESSAGE MY NUMBER AS I HAVENT UPGRADED THIS YET
Easy-going, fun and friendly. Would prefer to be in a social household with like minded people. Hospitality worker that works a different roster every week but mainly nights and weekends. Enjoys cooking, music, having mates around and watching the footy with a cold beer.
I am a tidy individual and make effort to clean up after myself, be considerate and respectful towards others, ensuring I do my best to not be disruptive. My personality is a quiet, friendly, ambivert who is ambitious and motivated having a strong focus on my work and studies. However, I equally take pleasure in downtime or going out for a social drink. I currently live in Adelaide where I rent my own place, work full time and am a first year Bachelor of Science student at The University of Adelaide (PT) I have been planning to move to Melbourne, however, it is now essential I find a suitable place that will accept my indoor cat as she can no longer be cared for short term by family or friends. She is a little bit "special" as she was a stray found out in a delirious state from malnutrition out the back of my old share house. She is as adorable as cats get but can still be on edge at time. For the most part spends her time sleeping, giving me cuddles or reminding me is food time and is happy doing her own thing.
