Hi, URGENT ACCOMODATION NEEDED ... CAN YOU PLEASE HELP I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom but that is not a deal breaker ceiling fans and or aircon would be nice. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot on the film late 2017 if I can raise the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours. At the moment I will be writing from home hence the study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio, looking for an office next year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a nine year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates my lease is up on the 9th of October so any time after that is good for me, I am really looking for the right home. Cheers Peita:)
Hey everyone! I'm a 29 year old German girl basically living in Melbourne for the last 1,5 years. I'm working full time in hospitality but also being social going out or having a chilled night cooking food and watching movies. I'm used to always have a good relationship with my housemates so I'd be very happy to find a new family or even new friends to live with.
Greetings! I am a traveling entrepreneur from the U.S. that has been in Latin America for the past seven months while building my online business. I will be arriving to Australia for the first time on October 19th and will be staying in Melbourne for 3-12+ months on a Working Holiday, while I continue building up my business. I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning new languages and cultures. I'm always up for a new adventure, wherever and whatever that may be! I look forward to visiting new places and making some local friends. I'm looking for a flatmate(s) that is focused on their goals, but also know how to have a good time after a long day of work. Someone that respects the space we share and does their part in keeping it clean and presentable, but not the ADHD type where everything has to be absolutely perfect. I'm pretty easy to get along with and enjoy hanging out with my flatmates when possible, but also enjoy my independence. Shoot me a message if you think we'll be a good fit!
Needing a cheap room for 1 or 2 nights per week. Usually only Friday and Saturday nights. I travel over 3 hours to Melbourne each weekend to attend a course I am studying in the city. You won't see a lot of me as I tend to catch up with friends when I can. Very easy going, fun and I enjoy a good laugh. Im falling in love with Melbourne.. Hopefully I'll make the move there soon! All I need is a bed and shower.. I can bring all my bedding, towels with me if that makes it easier. Interested? Would love to hear from you. Lisa
I'm a student at Unimelb. I'm clean, tidy and easy-going person and respectful of other's space. Will be glad to grab a beer and hangout or binge watch or play games in the console when not working. Feel free to shoot any questions if you'd like to know more about me.
Hi, I am an Irish gal who is extremely tidy and house proud. I love to cook & bake and regularly bake up a storm. I think of my self as an Irish "Mary Berry" :D I work in the CBD. I love venturing out into the city and always have something planned at the weekends. I would like to live with other 20/30 somethings who are chilled, enjoy the odd flat dinner and a chat and hopefully thoroughly enjoy life. I'm allergic to dogs and shellfish, so preferably you have neither as house pets.
Im easy going, very tidy, clean living, respectful and often working away. Ive been in Melbourne for nearly 3 years and its my favourite place in the world to live. Initially looking for a 3 month stay which would be extended if things are working out okay. Love to play beach volleyball, play the guitar, cycling, running and cooking.
Hello! I'm Sebastian from Indonesia & I lived in Japan before. I'm a tidy, sociable, trustworthy, easygoing, and honest person. I will come to Australia in November, so I'm looking for a share room for me to team up with. I prefer to stay in CBD or close to CBD areas in Melbourne. I'm looking forward to have a great time with you guys!
Friendly British girl looking to stay in Melbourne for a few months over Christmas. I will be finding a job over here so looking for a fairly quiet place to stay, although I still do like to go out for drinks and clubbing every so often. I can be sociable but like my own space as well. I'm laid back and like to chill in the evenings but would like to explore the city a bit too.
Hi, my name is Josiah, but you can call me JoJo. Born & raised in Japan, I’m here on a working holiday visa. I’m currently working in Northcote 5 days a week and I'm looking for somewhere to stay for the next few months. I'm a chatty guy who likes people for company. Is there a good time for me to come and see the room? Maybe I could come some time after 6pm (or weekends), when I finish work. Hope to hear back from you soon! Blessings!
I m tidy, like clean, friendly person. Sometime i would like to cook foods, enjoy the relax music or movie at home, play boardgame and gathering with friends.
hey i'm Richie, 26 year old dude looking for a place to live in the CBD. born and raised in Melbourne, VIC i'm working part time in Southbank and Port Melbourne with my two jobs (plus more !) so it would be of great service and convenience for me to live closer to work. i'm in a handful of industries like Gaming, Finance, Marketing, etc so i've dipped my thumb in a lot of pies. life outside of the professional world, i'm just a fat foodie at heart - i like to eat out but can also cook if i set my mind to it. i don't drink very often but i can hold my liquor if we're up for a night out; that said i have a sporadic schedule so my free time may not always be consistent - but even i like to have fun sometimes. if it's worth mentioning, i binge watch YouTube and Anime, but open for any TV Shows; and i play on my PC and PS4 on occasion to pass the time. at home i can be the most loyal friend you can have, but otherwise i will respect the house rules if any. i have my private times and i have moments where i can appreciate a quiet day or two. i'm not here to impress anyone, i'm just gonna be me myself and i - if we share the same sentiments, then that would be awesome ! my duration of stay can be flexible, but i'm seeking long term since i don't plan on quitting my job/s anytime soon. i like pets of all kinds and i don't mind people that smoke, i'm a pretty easy going guy.
I hail originally from Western Canada but I've been calling Melbourne my home for the past 6 years. Prior to living in Melbourne, I called Gold Coast, QLD, Nagano Japan, different parts of Canada and parts of Northern England home for various periods of time. I work full-time in government in the legal sector and I'm studying very casually in ehealth. In my spare time, I try to travel every few months overseas and interstate, catch up on tv shows (i.e., GoT, Suits, the Strain etc), regularly wayside my gym habit by satisfying my love for cheap Asian food (i.e., Laksa King or Seoul Soul). I'm 'share house trained', closet nerd but not a recluse, clean up after myself and communal areas, developed a fascination with making Sunday roasts and baked goods, and pay my bills on time like clock work, no pets and non-smoker. If any of the above is of interest to you, please don't hesitate to give me a shout :) Cheers
Hi There, My Name''s Gennady and I just arrived in Melbourne. Right now I'm looking for work and getting everything set up. In the meantime I want to find a shared house to stay in Melbourne for at least 3-5 months. I don't have any furniture so that won't be a problem moving in but I do want my room to be furnished with at least a bed. Anyway a bit about myself, I'm clean so leaving a ruckus in your house isn't a worry, I get along well with others and will totally be down to share a drink or go exploring the city with you. I want to see as many cafe's and places to eat as I can! I also enjoy having movie nights and just being able to have a chat with my flatmates or even doing some things together like camping or having day trips together on the weekends to wonderful places. Anyway if this sounds great to you, let's have a chat over skype and I can come around to see your flat. See you soon, Gennady
Hi everyone. I'm Stephanie and I am 21 years old looking for a place to stay from end of November until next year. Hi there! I'm a 27yo currently living in Alice Springs and I am looking to relocate to Melbourne late November! I work full time as a assistant creditors clerk and project support for the Central Land Council. I am a bubbly, energetic, social, active person who loves travel, food, wine and meeting new people. I am a neat tidy person and fairly outgoing, but I do like my downtime and I respect peoples privacy should they need the same. I'm hoping to find a place to stay with people who are open to a chat and a glass of wine occasionally, but also respect each others space.

Hi!! I am Marta, an exchange student from Spain studying at the University of Melbourne and living in Fairfield. I would like to find a share house / flat close to the Uni or CBD because my contract ends on 12th November. I love travelling, cooking, sports, obviously languages and animals! I am very open minded and easy going person. I am very responsible, reliable and quiet, but it doesn't mean that I don't like drinking beer or going party some times. Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
Hello, my name is Jasmine, I'm currently 19 and Studying full time at University. My current lease ends at the end of the year, and I would love to share a home with like minded individuals. I'm fun and will guarantee to tell you a few horrible jokes on the daily. I'm honest, and will of course pay rent and bills on time. I'm easy to get a long with, don't mind a few drinks but also like a bit of spare time to myself. I write novels in my spare time, so if I ever looked stressed, never fear it's just the good old writers block! I'd be quite happy to cook dinner one or two nights a week, bear in mind that I am a Terrible cook though so eat at your own risk!! Otherwise I I'm currently unemployed, however since being published, I am gaining freelance work and I am also looking for jobs around the areas I have listed and won't stop until I snag one! I've had four years of shared house experience as I moved out of home at a young age, I'd like to think I've matured beyond my years. I appreciate a clean home as I'm sure most people do, so I'm very clean! I'm willing to also team up with someone or a few people in getting our own home also. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
Hi I'm Jacinda, 24 year old female. I work as an Occupational Therapist and study part time. I'm New to Melbourne. I have lived in share houses for six years so I know the drill- clean, tidy, respect your things and personal space when needed and I hope for the same in return. Also keen to have chats and share a wine or two. Please message me if you think I can be an addition to your household.
I'm a software engineer, working full time. Music is my main hobby and I spend a lot of time playing guitar and going to gigs. I also like to read, play video games, watch tv and movies, and going hiking and camping, which I do a few times a year.
Hello! Looking for somewhere to live in the inner suburbs with great people! I work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Clean, considerate, not a great cook but don't burn toast... Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
I'm a 28 year old professional working in the CBD. I've just returned from 5 months working in India. I'm looking to have a place lined up for late November. I'm friendly and pretty busy with work and other commitments, but when I'm home I'm always keen for dinner, a glass of wine and the latest series with housemates. Looking for somewhere to live for 6+ months.
I'm Ani, 29 years old from London and I'm now in Australia with a professional job in the cbd after travelling in Latin America and beyond for around 2 years! I love Melbourne and I'm looking for a nice apartment with (a) lovely flatmate(s). I'm clean and respectful and not a crazy party girl (I prefer to keep the party out of the house) and enjoy my own space as much as socialising. Generally very healthy living, yoga, dance, gym, good food, good vibes.
Hi:) Everyone!! We are a Japanese young couple on working holiday and looking for a nice room for us. We just arrived to Australia on 18th April, so We are gonna stay for 1 year at least. We wanna find a room we can stay for a long term. We are sociable, easy going, tidy, respectful to others. Thank you for reading.
I am a really easy going guy, who likes to go out, meet new people and explore. I have traveled the world and have lived on my own before. So I have no problem paying bills, or keeping the place clean. I am from Toronto Canada and have decided to live in Australia for a year and then maybe travel a bit around Asia and New Zealand. I am into business and sports, I love hockey even though I hear there's not much of it in Australia, but also love tennis, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I like to try new things for fun, and will always say yes to going out and partying. I do enjoy though sometimes staying in and watching Netflix haha. Looking for a social roommate. I am a young professional and plan on working part time or full time during the week, while I am studying for my CFA exam. Looking for a furnished room with a bed and a place to put my clothes most importantly.
Hi, I work for a marketing agency and am relocating to Melbourne to start the Melbourne branch. I'm friendly and easy going but also enjoy/respect the need for alone time. I'm self sufficient and typically work 9-5 weekdays although i will often work beyond these hours. I would prefer living with 1 other person, but more is okay. I enjoy going to bars, cafes all that usual stuff. I'm also very clean and tidy and really haven't got much more to say haha
Melbourne raised 27 year old who works full time in community radio (can pay bills and I know how to budget but this also means I can't afford a place that's too fancy). I'm tidy and considerate. I go out most nights and enjoy some cheeky beverages on the weekend. I value my independence and having my own space most of the time. I love a good chat and get along with everyone. My other interests involve making friends with dogs on the street, D&Ms, tea, podcasts, vintage markets, and all the other normal stuff people in their 20's are into. I'd like to live with people who are social, easy going, honest, mature and open minded. I don't have a partner, kids or any pets, so I come as a one person package deal. I also have a car which I'd be happy to utilise in order to contribute to the household community vibe when necessary.
Hello, I'm Steven and I'm an easy going Canadian on a working holiday and will be working full-time in Melbourne for the next few months. Looking for a 1.5 month rental. I'm a clean and tidy person and won't leave my dishes unwashed, I may even clean yours if it is there. I enjoy travel of course but also like to stay active and enjoy playing sports. I like exploring new destinations and experiencing new things.
Looking for: private room not too far away from the CBD, no pets as I'm allergic I am: Swedish, down to earth, full-time student For those who are more curious: Hey potential future flatmate(s)! I’m a 20 year old Swede looking to rent a room from mid January to August or September. I’m a full-time student at Billy Blue College of Design and I’m most likely going to start looking for a part-time job in January. I’m currently renting a room in a flatshare in South Melbourne. Been living here since August this year. I’m moving out and going back to Sweden early December for a wedding. Not completely sure yet when I’m traveling back to Melbourne but it should be around mid January. Looking for a private room not too far away from the CBD. I need good tram/train/bus connections if it’s in a suburb further away. I prefer a furnished room as I don't really own anything except for an $9 work lamp from IKEA. As I mentioned before I'm allergic to pets so can't be around them at all... I’m very easy going and down to earth. I like to go out partying every other weekend or so depending on how much schoolwork I have to do but I'll definitely not bring the party home it's not appropriate. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the night market or to the cinema. I’d love to get to know my flatmates and hang out but at the same time it’s really important for me to get my peace and quiet to study as I take my studies very seriously (too expensive for Swedes to not be serious about it haha). I think it’s important to keep the common areas clean and tidy but I’m not too fussy about leaving dishes in the sink or stuff like that. I can be a bit messy when doing a crafty project for uni, but I’ll keep it in my room or tidy up after me. Hope to hear from you if you have something for me!
I'm going to be studying in Melbourne next year. I'm a easy guy who is laid back and likes to socialise. I'm always respectful to people and clean up after myself. I'm a personal trainer so love being active and doing outdoor stuff. I also love have a social drink.
Hey everybody! I'm a very easy going person, adaptable and I used to live with all kind of people. I did a lot of Wwoofing during my travels and I've been sharing flats and rooms in Europe, Australia and US. I'm searching for a place to spend my week-ends and 1 or 2 full weeks from December 1st until February 1st. I will be working all week away from Melbourne, that's why I mostly need a place for the week end. I like music and nature, share good time with people, not a great coocker but always make an effort as I do love food too haha! I'm just enjoying life! I have a job so I can pay my bills ^^ Cheers, Joanna.
Hi, I'm Tanya and I'm 34yo I have a partner Le who is 33yo. We are currently living in a hotel paying $730.00 a week and have been for some time. We are looking for somewhere to call home somewhere we can settle down. We are clean, reliable with payment, honest and well past our party days. We also respect peoples privacy. I'm 25 and work full time (Tuesday-Saturday) in retail in the CBD. In my time off I like to keep fit and social and travel every chance I get. I'm looking for a new place to call home ASAP, preferably with someone I can call a friend and not just a housemate. I would love to find someone who's happy to hang out and share the occasional meal but also has their own thing going on. I'm very tidy but not ocd and not a huge partier but enjoy the occasional night out.
Hey, I'm a German backpacker and am looking for nice people to live with in Melbourne since I plan to work in Melbourne the next few months. I'm really easy going and open minded, and really love to just sit down with some nice people, having a nice coffe or some food while watching movies or having a nice chat! p.s. date of moving and location are viable.

Like traveling watching sports games except for golf and f1 (they're boring asf for me) and doing cultural stuff like going museum etc. I'd like to have Aussie housemate or someone who speaks English fluently (westerners I more get along easy with them) as I want to improve more of my English. I hope to hear about you soon. Cheers
