My name is Elly Whitaker and I'm a 23yr old female outdoor educator. I would describe myself as a down to earth, friendly, tidy, environmentally conscious and social person. I'm moving to Torquay in just over 2 weeks to start my masters in teaching at Deakin University. I love community dinners, drinking beers and being outdoors, but am equally satisfied snuggling up on the sofa in front of a good (or not so good) movie. I love surfing so I'm super excited to move to the surf coast as well as to meet some friendly like minded people (:
Down to earth, bubbly, chilled, happy, respectful, creative individual who loves to have a yarn at the end of the day, but also respects privacy and alone time. Interests include sewing and creating, meditation, taekwondo, music and gigs, cooking, travel and chatting over a beer or whiskey or two.
I am a responsible housemate and am very friendly. I can keep to myself if needed and am generally understanding/open to other peoples beliefs/ideologies. I'm a musician and also a bit of a nerd so extra points if you're looking for one of them!
I am from Canada and have been living in Werribee the past year. I moved over here on a working holiday visa and now I'm hoping to stay longer. I work in a Veterinary Clinic in Werribee. I love the ocean and I love to surf, which is why I want to be closer to Torquay. I am a very active person, I love plaing volleyball, I run and I love to swim. I enjoy going out for a few drinks with friends on the weekend, however I also love a good movie night. I am a very outgoing person and I love meeting new people.

Friendly and easy-going guy studying Architecture & Construction Management at Deakin and working Full Time at Captain Moonlite. I'm quite tidy and would mostly be keeping to my studies, but I enjoy being social and having a casual beer or two. Main reason I want to live down the Surf Coast is to focus on my surfing in my free time. I'm moving to India in July so only after a short term rental, preferably with furniture included.
I'm looking to rent for 3 months (willing to negotiate) I am 25 and work full-time in a winery and lead a v active life outside of work. I love kiteboarding, sailing and yoga. My boyfriend Jake, 32, is a professional chef currently working abroad. He loves surfing and makes beautiful smells in the kitchen! He returns to the area mid-March. We are looking after a B&B from mid-April to mid-May but we are happy to negotiate longer-term commitment. We have both worked on super yachts for a few years so we are used to living in close quarters, being respectful of the people we live with and cleaning up after ourselves. We are easy-going, sociable and after travelling for a while, we would love to find a place where we can hang out and call home!
I'm easy to get along with , have a sense of humour. I'm 25 still living at home. I'm currently unemployed, but I am trying to start up my own home business in spray tanning. Currently living in Herne hill. I also have a cat that I will take with me to the New house! :)
New Zealander. I tidy up after myself and tend to get along with everyone. Always pay my bills and try to live a reasonably active lifestyle. I will be doing work placement and intend to get a job out of it. Initially need 3 months accommodation but after work placement I plan to stay put. I am still on course in New Zealand and will be finishing up and moving to Aus in mid June
Hi, My name is Amy and I'm a 26 year old mechatronics engineering student at Deakin. I'm a fairly neat and tidy person and work and study occupies a great deal of my time, so there'll be times when you don't see a lot of me. In my down time, however, I love a good Netflix binge, I like to read, I enjoy a few wines/beers and watch the footy (I do tend to yell at the television; sorry in advance). Anyway, feel free to hit me up with any questions. Cheers!
Hey there, I've just arrived back to Vic and I'm looking for a place to lay my head. I'm 31 and studying occupational therapy at Deakin full time. I think I'm pretty cruisey. Always up for a chat and some banter, but like time to myself too. I spend a fair chunk of time studying, but love to spend my 'spare' time rock climbing, playing ukulele, riding my motorbike, going to gigs. I love to cook and am always up for a shared dinner with housies and friends. I don't really like drop in centres, I prefer to set myself up in awesome environments with good people that contribute to a sweet vibe in the house. I have a cat Roo <3 He's jet black and super affectionate once he gets to know you, but he'll be a bit skittish when he first moves in. That's just him. If you have a room that fits the bill I'm excited to meet you and check it out :-)
Work fulltime in mental health, study acting, write for Froth beer magazine and a few music journals. Pretty chilled, single, date women (homophobes prob not an ideal housemate haha!) Have shared custody over two dogs so need to be all good with the occasional puppy visit. Enjoy a good yarn over a beer/wine/gin/coffee but also can get pretty drained from my work hours so highly value alone time as well. Clean and tidy :) Do not smoke, not a house party-er.
Hi I'm Frances and I'm looking to share in the Torquay, Jan Juc and Highton areas. I am self-employed, professional art therapist, textile artist and reiki master. I run art therapy programs at schools, privately and will shortly be starting a program at the Epworth Hospital in Geelong. I am looking for a quiet home near the beach if possible. I am easy going, friendly, enjoy meeting new people and enjoy walks on the beach and going to the gym. I am looking for an unfurnished property as I have all of my own furniture and looking for a unit or "granny flat". I would like to move in about 1-2 months time so please message me or give me a call if you have something similar to rent. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks.
We have been travelling for many years now and we are looking for a place to settle down so that Fiona can finish her Uni and I don't have to be on the other side of the planet. Fiona is a dedicated student who has 2 years left of studying and I work for myself from home when I am not in the ocean. We are well travelled and level headed people who love meeting new people and keeping things simple. We are both tidy living people who like a nice balance of quiet and excitement.
Heya! My names Britt, I'm 24, working full time hours at a cafe on the Bellarine. I'm about to start a sports development diploma at VFA. I've just come back from travelling and working in the US. Looking for a place in the Geelong area which is where i am from originally. I work 9-5 full time in Geelong so I'll be pretty easy to live with. I envisage hopefully finding some fun housemates that are like myself, and easy to get along with whether in an established sharehouse or not. I'm an impeccably clean person and happy with pitch in with the household upkeep. I have a reliable car and have rental experience.
Hi I'm Jesse, currently in my third year as an apprentice cabinet maker, i'm from Bannockburn, looking to move out of my parents house for the first time, easy going, laid back, clean, hard working and very friendly. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm clean, sociable, humorous, sporty and a non smoker. I study part time at Deakin (Waurn Ponds) and I work two casual jobs in Geelong as a respite care worker and as a disability support worker. Currently I live in Ballarat but I'm looking to move into Geelong as soon as possible, preferably into a place that is either walking/cycling distance or a quick bus ride to uni as I'd prefer to just use my car for work purposes.
Hey I really hate these self describe sections so this will be short and brief. I'm Joiner by trade, which if you have no idea what that is that's cool surprisingly not many do. I'm a clean individual who always pays his bills on time and more than happy to do my fair share of house chores. On the social side big fan of heading out an grabbing a drink at the local pub and chilling not overly keen on the night club scene Well that's me in a snap shot
I am a masters student. I love to stay in a shared accommodation because that is what makes life lively. Having said that, I like to have my own privacy as well, but also would not mind a drink or two with the housemate. Clean, easy going and friendly person. Workout freak.
Hi, I am a fulltime working guy who works for Council in the City of Melbourne and I am seeking a place to share in the out skirts of Melbourne. I plan to commute by v/line train to work and back for it is easier for me than dealing with traffic snarls that happen too often for ones liking. It would be good to also travel to country areas in my days off to seek my hobbies of fishing and hiking. I am currently sharing a house in the Western Suburbs in a fairly built up area and find it too busy with traffic and congestion everytime you want go anywhere and do anything. The place where I currently have lived for sometime is also congested. There is to many people and too little room for me and I have stuff in storage which I would like to get out. Time for a sea change! All my family are in West Australia and I pretty much here by myself. Its the job that I have that keeps me here and It a great job and I wont be leaving it for sometime I would think. I work a hell of a lot and I possibly work too many hours hense the country air and peacefull sounds of the bush is what I am seeking. I save up holidays for block trips back home to Geraldton a Couple of times a year and plan a large road trip for one of the family and myself back across to the West later this year. I really would like a safe a secure surroundings that has some parking and storage area for a car and trailer and a not too large shed or storage area for essential tools that I have. I am your typical bloke who can fix most things and I also have garden tools as well. Im not weird but there is something therapeutic about a lawn mowed properly. Yes I admit it, I like to do the gardening if available. I am not a drinker and I dont smoke. I did my bit of all that many years ago and realised that it was not only wearing a hole in my pocket, it was starting to affect my health like every one else. so I dont do any of that. I dont care if anyone else does dont get me wrong, I am not a cigga nazi or a anti alcohol wowza, I just dont do it. I am house trained also, yep I am not frightened of the mop or the vaaccum. Its pretty easy to do that stuff if it is kept up with, Its only hard when its let go and gets out of control. There ive said it. Strange coming from a guy huh. I have heaps more that I could fill the page with about me suffice to say that I have worked and travelled around Australia several times and I have worked in areas such as Mining, Steel, Primary industries to even medical, yep I also did nursing for six years. So if your looking for a reliable, full paying, house trained co inhabitant, I am possibly the person you seek. I just really need a decent place to live so I can get to the next career rung on that career ladder. The Council would like me to do some study at their cost. Look forward to hearing from you. Andrew.
My name is Ben. I'm aged 25 and work full time in the public service. I'm looking for a relaxed house with mature minded housemates who are outgoing. I enjoy cooking, exercise, N64 and cats. I am a 24 year old female, self employed and studying part time. I am clean, considerate and respectful. Having lived in sharehouse environments before, I am aware of all the little things that go along with it. Hey everyone! I'm a 21 year old student at Deakin Waurn Ponds, doing my honours year in 2017. I'm currently living in a one-bedroom unit, and am looking for someone to go into a bigger place with me and a friend (also 21 year old female student) to help split the costs. I am almost fully furnished, so all you'd need is bedroom furniture! I have one small, well-behaved rabbit who I do bring inside on occasion (she loves cuddles) and my friend has an inside cat. We are both relatively quiet people and focus on our studies, though are happy to meet new people and have a good time. Interests include movies, books and catching up with friends. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know and we can organise to meet!
People who have come to know me would best describe me as an old lady in a young body. I am an online entrepreneur which gives me the freedom to work from anywhere in the world. My line of work requires strong discipline (if your not working your not earning) so I am very quiet person. In saying that I am also friendly and bubbly when I get talking. I make it my goal to find employment at the local "watering hole" everywhere I do live, this way I can be apart of the community for the time I have there I very much enjoy the company of pets and have an abundance of time for them! I also have a car( full Australian licence) I don't smoke and only drink on special occasions. Happy to organize a Skype session for a 'meet and greet' :)
Hey there, My name is Jess and I'm a 28 year-old student working part-time. I'm tidy, like to cook, garden and read. I'm currently working casually on weekends and study full time during the week at the Gordon and I am studying a certificate IV in beauty therapy :) I've put down that I have pets I do have two dogs but they live with my parents and will continue to stay there when I move out but I am really wanting to get a kitten when I move out but if that's a deal breaker it's not a must. And my hobbies really just consist of reading A LOT, watching A LOT of TV series and MOVIES ! And love to catch up with friends and have a laugh about anything or everything.
