Hey future flatmates! I've moved up from Melbourne for a new position in banking/IT in Barangaroo. I can stay with family while I search so am semi-flexible with dates. I'll be moving up with just my personal things so happy to have a furnished house but furnish my own room. I'm originally from Canada (near Vancouver). I'm laid back, enjoy a clean home (and of course help with all the chores, no roster necessary!), and cook a few times a week when I'm not out. Would like to live in a non-smoking home, not a party home, but am happy to have a wine (or two!). Also love going to the gym/running, brunch, and any random fun activities I can get my hands on. Pretty new to all the different suburbs so not sure exactly what I'm looking for, so feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit! Something close to the city (I'll be working in Barangaroo) would be ideal. I also have a car that I would super love to be able to park off the street but either way, if there's street parking then I'll take that too.
I am a (reasonably) young and vibrant woman with quite a bit of personality and a seemingly good sense of humour. I am looking for a transition apartment for a few months. I am a heritage consultant and have lived in Aus for 5 years. I offer to be respectful and tidy as well as prepare home cooked meals (if you don't mind rich french food!) and share a bottle of wine occasionally. I'm generally easy going and open minded so whether you like to have a chat at the end of the day or prefer privacy suits me. Get in touch to ask any questions!
Hi, we're moving to Sydney from London and looking to find a great place in the inner west suburbs-Balmain/Rozelle or lower north shores area. Keen to live with like-minded, easy-going people who're keen for a laugh but also reliable and considerate other other housemates etc. About us: Mark (English) is a 28yo professional who loves his sport, likes a beer and loves to cook! Jen (Scottish) also 28, works in banking, likes going to the gym, chilling out watching tv and enjoys a cheeky gin from time to time! We're both pretty chilled out, easy to get on with and respectful of other housemates etc. Looking to find somewhere to move in from end of April. Cheers, Mark & Jen
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
I moved to sydney 6 months ago from Auckland, living in Balmain but want a change in a better house setup. Working for a tech company in sydney cbd, if I'm not working I'll be at the gym, out socialising or chilling at home. Want to live with people who have a good balance of both work and play. Also being new to the city means it's always good to meet new people.
Hello Sydney I'm Andrew & my partner is Michelle, we are a very respectful, responsible and domesticated Aussie couple looking for a home not a party pad. We are really easy going, friendly and helpful. Both working, so quality home time is valued and needed. Great cooks and gardeners (I'm a horticulturist & Michelle is a Chef/ Barista/ Bartender) so we can enjoy small social gathering if they happen. We are quite self contained and don't spread ourselfve's all over the home. We have have lived in many shared places and get along with all ages- except those who require a mummy or daddy.
Hey! I'm moving over from London for a 2 year secondment in Sydney. Love meeting new people, spending time with friends, cocktails, yoga and generally getting out and being active! Excited to make the most of the Australian sunshine (with a big supply of factor 50!)
Hello! My name is Emma but everyone calls me Emme which is actually pronounced Emmy. I kind of like palindromes. I recently moved home to Sydney after 15 years living in London. I design books and things for a living and so spend a lot of quality time with my laptop. In my spare time I like going to films and art galleries and live music. I am quiet and peaceful and love painting and exploring nature in my time off. I adore animals and am hoping to find someone with pets!
Hi, I'm Chris, I run a telecommunications construction company which keeps me awfully busy on weekdays 7-7 at least (and 1 or more days in the weekends). When i'm not working i am either out with friends enjoying a drink or im on my Boat fishing, skiing or any other fun stuff a boat brings. I come with my best friend Phil- a West highland white terrier who is 18 months old, completely house trained and joins me at work everyday because, well, he thinks he is a human. He wont do tricks for teats but ofcourse expects the treat. My busy lifestyle encourages me to have a simple and low maintenance home life where i love a quiet drink in the evening, even more so if you do to!
My name is Tammy and I am looking for somewhere to call home in the Balmain area. I am a career focused individual who enjoys a social glass of wine over dinner. I am climbing the career ladder now and I give most of my focus to this aspect of my life. I also like to stay health and fit. I enjoy socialising and going to nice bars and restaurants. My goal is to eventually buy in Balmain but now I have settling to house sharing or renting a studio apartment. Why Balmain; Well I love the lifestyle it offers. With my favourite “charlottes café”, Ballast point park and gorgeous Sydney harbour and CBD skyline view, I cannot image choosing any other location home. As your house mate; Im clean, fun and social. I’d love to meet for a Friday night drink after work and even the odd night out on the town. I enjoy my own time too, so I may hide away in my room and read or watch Netflix but most often you’ll find me outside in a park on a picnic rug. I hope I get the chance to meet with you and to chat about your available room and even make a new friend in the area. Tammy

My flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend so it's time to jump ship and find a new place to live. I'm looking to move in around late March/ around Easter but I'm flexible with dates. I'm fairly new to Sydney; 32, single and can cook a mean lasagne. I'm your run of the mill well behaved, relaxed, happy and considerate housemate who likes to share a drink and a chat as well make fun of people on the TV.

Hi there, My name is Natalie. I am looking to start fresh in a new part of Sydney after growing up initially in Mascot then moved to acres on the outskirts of Western Sydney. I have a 9.5 yr old daughter who stays with me every second weekend but isn't much trouble at all as she is extremely independent, social and kind. I am extremely career focused and I work long hours as a Facilities and Maintenance Mgr for a large company and would love to come home to a place that is inviting. I love cooking and a bit of a clean freak. I am a independent, witty and love a little banter when the time calls for it. I respect those around me and value personal space. I love entertaining but don't find I do it much at all these days as my weekends are usually kept busy out and about.

Hi, My names Victoria, 25 years old & I'd classify myself as an extroverted introvert. I work Full Time in Circular Quay, Sydney as a Sales Manager. Ideally I'm hoping to find a suitable place to move into by March 2017, there's not a huge rush at the moment. This will be my first time living out of home and really want to find the right place to call home. Max $300 rent + bills. Not interested in shared rooms. I'd like to live with people aged between 20 - 30years old. Interested in areas with easy access to public transport (20min max to the city) and preferably with a car park/street parking.
I'm Libby, I'm 25 and I'm currently studying post-grad psychology after having had a stint in marketing. I currently work 3 days at a psychology clinic. I really love to travel and try to get back to Europe once a year if I can, with a particular fondness for Scandinavia. I like to go to a gig or two occasionally but also have nights when I chill out at home with a glass of wine and Gilmore Girls. I'm pretty open-minded and respectful of others' privacy but ideally would love to be in a house which catches up occasionally for drinks or dinner.
I am an easy going 35 years old girl from Spain. I am looking for a nice room ( not to share) in a clean and tidy place. I will be working and studying so I would like to live in a peaceful and calm place where I can come and relax. I would like a place with no pets and non smoking. Like to socialize by having a good chat over some wine and food, go out dancing, see a movie and like outdoor activities too as long as its not raining or freezing. Live traveling, quite interested in (world) politics (bit of a socialist, i believe we should have a fair life for everyone) Also like to do sport, however i am struggeling to go in this summer heath :)

We LOVE the beach, keeping active/running/hiking/eating out and generally relaxing and making the most of the outdoors. We are both very tidy and clean, and will contribute to housework and chores. We are also very quiet and won't make any noise :). Jay is really techy and can pretty much fix anything that is broken! We are looking for a flat share because we want to get to know people and make friends! We are looking for a place that we can relax on the weekends whilst working full time during the week. We are not party/clubbing people but definitely like socialising with our flat mates and having the occasional gathering. Let us know if you think we'd be suited to your place :)

Psychology postgrad from Brisbane. I'm experienced at share housing since my uni days when I came to live in Australia. Born and bred in Africa. Most recently from Brisbane and then the States, I now work full time in the city, and would love to contribute to making a house a home. My ongoing passion apart from regular dance training is in fine art. I'm reliable and easy going, respectful of others privacy and like to be social occasionally.
I'm a remedial massage therapist, looking for somewhere to settle down as long-term as possible. Polite, neat, eclectic interests. Would prefer an unfurnished place - I like my bed and don't want to go through the hassle of disposing of it after those years of loyal service.
I am from Colombia and i am studying in the university of Sydney. I am a respectful person that love to share good moments. i like to travel and play different sports
Hi, I'm Francesca and I'm 26 years old. I'll want to spend some months in Sydney, live and work there. I'll arrive the second weeks of May 2017. I'm a friendly person and I like clean.
Hello there, I am from Perth originally and recently I've decided to make a big life change and moved to Sydney. I've only been in Sydney for less than two week. So I've sold everything I had in Perth and came to Sydney with a few suit case and two dogs. I have no friends or family in Sydney and would definitely like to share a place with like minded people and possibly meet some people along the way. My only family are my dogs. I have two small crossbreed dogs. A Pomeranian x poodle and a shitzu x Tibetan spaniel. Both are 6 years old and well trained. They are indoor dogs and loves food, kisses and cuddles. Both dogs are hypoallergenic and are indoor dogs. I am a young professional (age 29) finding my way in this fast pace city. I am very clean and tidy. Some may say I am a clean freak. I rarely go out but seeing that I am in Sydney, definitely would love to see the city a little bit more whether it is at night or day time providing that we don't have work. I like to hang out and chill at the beach as well. I am adventurous and spontaneous, usually I don't ponder around and wait for things to happen. I would like to meet and live with like minded people and share my journey living in Sydney together and to make the house a homely feel. Definitely would like to rent a house / townhouse together with someone rather than renting a room, however, beggars can't be choosers. Preferably a house / townhouse rather than an apartment. Thank you for reading :)
I'm a sweet (well I like to think so), and easy going 20 year old studying nursing. I'm generally organized and like to keep things tidy, I love books and breakfast-food, am a pescstarian, like to bake, and hang out with a glass of wine and a movie!
UPDATE Hi Guys, I'm Gianluca, I'm 35 and I'm Italian. Finally I got my Visa!! I'll move to Sydney the 8th of February and I will stay in hotel until the 12th of February. I have a permanent job in Sydney near the Central Business District, so I'm looking for a room/flat in some suburb near there or that could give me the ability to reach the offices easily. I don't smoke and I'm very interested in every type of sport. I would like a room in a flat with no more than 3 rooms and even if I still look like a 25 maybe it's better to stay in the apartment with people that are working rather than students. Moreover, welcome some room with private bathroom. Feel free to ask whatever you want. Bye!
