I am currently studying wildlife and conservation biology at Deakin, and I also have casual work. I am looking to share a house with two or three other people in a clean, neat house with a relaxed environment. I have a pet snake, I keep her enclosure in my room and she is quite small so nothing to be scared of! If it makes you uncomfortable I will make sure not to bring her out while you are around.
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
I am easygoing clean and tidy person.i dont drink or smoke and i am looking to find a room for rent preferably with women
I am a full time professional working at Box Hill Hospital. I am a clean, quiet and respectful person. I am looking to rent for up to 6 months closer to my workplace.
Professional 40 year old female. I'm an easy going, non judgemental person who gets along with everyone. Currently working in the city, 3 days a week (increasing to 5 days mid Feb), so I'm looking for something close to public transport if possible. Ideally I'd like something furnished, if possible.
I'm a Sports Management student at Deakin University and I'll be moving to Melbourne in the second week of Feb from Bangalore, India. I like keeping my living and working spaces tidy and know how to respect personal space. Honestly, I'm not a great cook but I'll be more than happy to take care of my share of the dishes and chores. Also willing to barter chores for surfing lessons! Looking forward to exploring the local action and motor sports scene, although I play hockey and football and do a fair bit of cycling and running too. I've grown up with pets so I'm totally comfortable around animals too.
Hey, I'm Lachie and will be moving to Melbourne from Coffs Harbour soon to study film at Deakin University. I'm naturally a fairly clean/diligent person and have spent the past year in a share house so understand what it entails. Will probably spend a lot of time studying or working. Nonetheless I am definitely down to socialise, have a few drinks, binge a Netflix show or explore the city :) I am also open to moving ealier/later then the given moving date and staying longer then 6 months if things work out!
I'm laid back, always down for a chat but completely respect that not everyday is a talking day. Work part time. Final year degree student at Deakin. Totally in love with alcohol. Running, golf, cricket, reading and Play Station make up almost the entirety of my free time. And yeah, i'm not the one to invite friends over everyday, so you should expect a quite room mate in me.
I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin and I'll be graduating in May next year, then headed overaeas for summer school so I'm only looking for short term accommodation. I also work part-time at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out occasionally (by no means a party animal, though). I'm respectful and tidy and I can get along with anyone. Not keen to live with kids or dogs (sorry!) and I'd like to live close to a train station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line OR the 70/75 tram. If there's anything more you'd like to know just send me a message!
Hi all, I'm currently in my hometown in regional Victoria in a bid to save money after uni accommodation made me broke! Once I return to Melbourne I'll be completing the second year of my course at Deakin. I like to think I'm pretty chill, this is usually reflected in the state of my bedroom. Although my bedroom can become untidy, I try my best to ensure shared living spaces are always well kept. I'm generally quite extroverted and am always up for a chat or a drink but I'll usually end up just doing whatever in my room. I'm trying my best to become more independent so hopefully I can have that opportunity in this new home. I'm trying to avoid share houses of 5+ residents and would Ideally like a double bed. P.S. I can make some pretty good pretzels. Thank you
I am an Indian, shifting to Melbourne in February, 2018 for my Bachelors degree course in Deakin University. I am a fun loving, jolly, hardworking, good cook and a trustworthy guy. i also am a team-guy, who does not create much problems. I would love to stay with people from different countries(preferably), other than india. i like to play games, watch movies, roam around and explore the city, in my free time and i am a cricket addict.
I'm a 27 year-old law student also working in telco/retail. Hoping to find something East (Camberwell/Hawthorn/Richmond/Balwyn/Kew/Box Hill) or potentially even slightly further out. I'm very easy-going and do enjoy my own space and respect that everyone needs their down time, but am always up for a chat/drink! Enjoy cooking, getting outdoors, going to gigs and having a laugh. Not keen on a party house but not fussed by having people over on weekends etc. I also have a little Tonkinese kitty so only looking at pet-friendly places!
Very clean, neat and quiet. I spend most of my time at home due to disability so I take good care of my surroundings. I have been sharehousing for 2 years and I am willing to share food/cooking and cleaning. I have a rental history and some furniture/appliances (depending on where I end up, I'll keep what I need). Gluten free omnivore, love cats and can tolerate outdoor-only dogs. Looking for a quiet location with public transport in walking distance. Ideally I would like to live with other LGBTQ folks. I'm interested in art, writing, fashion, activism and self-advocacy, and I love to make lots of jokes.
Hey, my names mike, i work full time and im an English backpacker but taking on study in february to stay in the country until my sponsor is ready, and ive already lived here for 2 years. I'm a very relaxed person, nothing really bothers me or gets me down. Just looking for a cool house to move into, with a private room for the added peace and quiet! Ideally Looking to meet new people and have a good time! Always up for beers, but not a party animal anymore, getting a bit old now haha! I'm interested in cars, tattoos, tacos, beer, not cutting my hair, bikes, movies and a good old deep and meaningful chat! I'm very clean, tidy and respectful, will always clean up after myself and chip in with anything that needs doing. I dabble with cooking and can make some mean dishes when I'm in the mood! (mostly snacks/hangover food) Cheers Mike :)
Hello i am looking for two rooms for me and my friend. since we both are student in deakin uni, we are looking for a place that is close to deakin or convenience to go to the university. thank you, i hope we can find a good place to stay with calm and good mates.
I like to think I'm an easy going young bloke. I'm currently studying music performance at Boxhill Institute, but don't worry I won't be practicing my guitar or keyboard too load. I definitely like my own space at times but also enjoy being sociable with those I live with. Weather it's having a beverage and a BBQ or going into the city for whatever reason. I hope to be hanging with ya in the living room soon.
Hey! I’m Tahlia. A 22 year old about to start her journey as a nurse at Box Hill Hospital. I’m looking for somewhere to live, or a team up, with likeminded people that aren’t only going to be my housemates but my friends too. I am respectful of common spaces and other people’s space and belongings. I consider myself to be a tidy person, but as like most people can be a bit slack at times. On my days off I like to chill out, catch up with friends, go on a day trip or watch one of the plethora of tv shows I’m addicted to. I’m open minded and love learning new things. So feel free to introduce me to a new experience or hobbie! Send me a message if you’d like to know anymore, have a room to offer or are interested in a team-up!
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to the office each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Hey I'm Tina, I'm 24 as my profile says :) I am a quiet down to earth person who is considerate of other people and what their needs are. I am in no way a party animal, so you won’t be bothered by loud music etc. I am a little bit of a grandma, I love early nights, knitting, gardening, cooking (particularly baking) and always have a cookie or two to spare for my housemates :) But I do also enjoy ice skating, going for a kick of the footy! I also love animals but have no pets of my own. I’m between jobs at the moment (I decided to change jobs late last year and am currently looking for something a bit different, or possibly returning to study) but I’m excellent at budgeting as well as being reliable and responsible – by which I mean I always pay bills and rent on time :) I will, of course, pay rent in advance for the first month as well as bond. And if the house needs something else like a new fridge/washing machine/microwave etc. I’m happy to contribute. Looking forward to hearing from you, Tina :)
Im looking for a clean and quiet place with on site parking(was never a fan of street parking :D) Prefer a small household with 4-5 tenants. I am a recent international graduate from Deakin and is now working full time in Burwood.
