I currently live in student accommodation in Footscray but am originally from Newcastle, NSW. I am studying education and work overnights usually 3-5 nights a week including some weekends. I enjoy writing, reading, cooking, playing my game cube and playing hockey and spend the majority of my time doing any of these. As a housemate, I tend to keep to myself however also enjoy the company of those I've lived with and appreciate occasionally having dinner together and playing card games/board games, a few drinks, watching tv etc.
Hey, My name's Josh, I'm 23 from England. I was working as a joiner back home, before I had the urge to go travelling. I enjoyed being hands on and creative, but discovering new places was top of the list! I have just returned from travelling up to Cairns, and now have returned hungry for more travel. I have to decided to travel Australia on motorbike next year, so am currently saving and planning best I can to make it an amazing trip. I'm currently working full time, it's a very physical job, so I enjoy coming home having a beer and a chat, however sometimes just need to sleep. Netflix and going somewhere for the weekend are a couple things I also love to do. So would love to hear of places you recommend! I respect everyone's privacy and belongings, just how I like mine respected. Ill keep the house clean, and don't mind helping with any projects you have, or, if you have a garden, I'd love to help out too! Thanks !! Josh
I am from Nashville, Tennessee, USA studying abroad at Victoria University. I will be working part-time. I enjoy my alone time, reading and playing video games. I also like to go hiking, take pictures, and camping. I am looking for new adventures. I am clean, tidy, and quiet.

Myself & my partner are both working full time. Maddison first year spray painter apprentice at Preston Toyota. Jai second year mechanic apprentice at Footscray Alan Mance Suzuki & Mitsubishi. We both have our own transport and cars. we spend our free time working on our cars & always out cruising with friends and adventuring. We have a cat named Meg - only 1 year old. She's so loving and is the best cat ever! Very well house trained, is never a problem. Meg gets along with other dogs & rabbits. We have lived in share houses previously and can provide references also from previous landlords. We are very busy people and will rarely see us during the week days due to work!

Hello there, where you going, can't you help me plz😜?My name is angelina am from Congo (Africa) Am a young lady who Minds her own business, friendly, calm, caring, bubbly, very neat clean, full of energy I respect people's Space I know how to live with people and most of all I love meeting different people. Am always smiling and most times am very quite when it comes to my studies. On my spare time I love laying down on the couch catching up with my favourite TV shows on Netflix, spending time with family and friends outgoing out etc. weekends I go to my boyfriends house and spend time there and sometimes he comes to me.
My name is Michelle. I am a fairly private quiet sort of person due to the fact I work 2 jobs. I'm currently looking for somewhere temporarily that is cheap, for a few weeks just to tie me over til I go overseas at the end of the month and then I will re-figure it out when I get back. Needing somewhere either close to cbd or western suburbs, im actually quite flexible as long as its close to a train station, I do have a car but its in need of repairs and I don't have time to fix it until I return. I'm an office manager full time in the cbd during the day and an events/artist manager nationally and Internationally, I am usually glued to my laptop every single night and most weekends especially over the next two months as i am working on my events. So if your looking for someone you will barely know is there, i'm your girl! If you are looking for someone to be your best friend sorry I wont be a right fit. So some may see that as a good or bad thing, I am quiet because I am a workaholic and my work load is insane, not because I am anti social as such haha. At the moment i am in a place from now until Oct 25th, possibly happy to extend another month if its the right fit until I find my own place but I am going overseas for a week on the 25th. I'm a clean person, I don't really cook much due to time restrictions with time frames with my work load, but when I do I tidy up after myself. I love travelling, photography, sleeping, dancing, movies and watching a good comedy.
Tidy, friendly & sociable person to be part of the home. Full time employed professional (work in Tullamarine). Paying rent + bills on time, always. Enjoy quiet nights during the week, food & good conversation. Do not have a pet, but pets love me. Hobby gym, park walk.
Looking to move from Geelong into a tidy house with like minded people. Not after a party house, but instead a mix of wine and netflix and respectful alone time. I'm currently studying primary teaching and working part time in a school. I also enjoy yoga and reading and follow a vegan diet. I am a considerate housemate and easy to live with.
Looking for bungalow, granny flat or single room within a shared house preferably in the western suburbs. No problems with pets or young children. Actively looking for employment and hopefully returning to study next year. Easy going, open-minded friendly person that is neat, respectful looking for a quite home to stay for at least 6 months or longer. Message me for further inquires
Hi There, I am an easy and fun loving individual who enjoys a quiet stay with anyone. I can bring many skills to the household and would make a fantastic flatmate for everyone and anyone interested. Conversation is never dull when I am around, but when it isn't required I am just as good at reading a good book or enjoying 'my time" with a book and a cup of tea. I will no doubt always pull my weight when there is a task that needs to be done. I love to help whether it is in a group of people or just myself. Cooking is my forte and all cleaning skills are exceptional, but everyone has a weak point and mine is in the ironing...doh!! It will not be long before I become part of the furniture and you will not be disappointed in the skills that I can bring to your home. I am looking at becoming part of a home as I have been a long time leaseholder who is needing a change. Look forward to hearing from you all soon and meeting you all for a good chat in person. Thankyou for considering me and speak with you soon. Cheers Michelle :)
Hey there, I am looking for a clean place to stay where I can spend my downtime hanging out mainly in my room. I am happy and would be glad to socialise & hang out with you too. I am a fairly clean and adaptive person, I cook for myself most of the time and work in hospitality so I know the importance of keeping everything clean. Fast internet speeds are important to me as I spend most of my time on the web and am somewhat of an avid gamer. If possible, I would like an estimate of internet speeds or if that is not possible I would like to test speeds during ibspection. I can tend to be a little loud during the night but I'm happy to adapt and keep myself quieter during these times or even change up my sleep schedule some. Thank you for reading!
Hi, I am Brazilian, female, 34yo living in the CBD since I arrived in Australia, more than 1 year ago. I am looking for a quieter place, shared house but private room, close to the city, since most of my jobs are around my current place.
Hi, I recently moved to Melbourne from Singapore. I am starting a part-time job near Docklands/Harbourtown and would be looking to stay somewhere nearby. I am clean and tidy.
Hi! I'm Taner, I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I'm a down-to-earth professional (lawyer) with a 12-month fixed term employment situation with the VIC Dept. of Premier and Cabinet. I have a family that's staying behind in Perth (consider this a very long-shift FIFO) so I understand the dynamics of living in and managing a household. I'm quiet, respectful of others' privacy, and keep tidy but I am very amiable and enjoy conversation on a wide range of topics. Most of my hobbies revolve around reading, computing, cooking (it'd be good to get some exercise too).
I'm a newly music composition graduate, working as a part time music teacher and barista. I love fitness, photography and creating/producing music. Pretty social girl, don’t mind the occasional hang out but at the same time I am a very independent person. Super neat and clean up after my mess.
Easy to get along with, very accepting of all walks of life, love to socialise, but like my own space too - would love to find a housemate to drink wine and watch netflix with!
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I have been living in Auckland for the past year; now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT and will be going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
Hey, I am looking to move in somewhere suitable for me. I wouldn't mind doing teamups as well. I really respect and value privacy and take that very seriously. I love helping out with the house chores and cooking. Hit me up if you wanna know more.
I'm a bartender originally from Sunbury, and I enjoy screenwriting and watching TV in my spare time. I'm fairly tidy and like to clean up after myself, and I'm up for the occasional party or night out.
Hi! I'm a smoothie maker, chai drinker and yoga newbie. I'm vegetarian, love animals and always up for a chat, a night out or a good old Netflix session. I juggle between working in private health and running my own business. I've lived in sharehouses here and abroad, and did a bit of travelling last year ✈ I'd love to find a place to call home, where good vibes and zen spaces mix together✌ Looking for a place for 4-6 months, and maybe longer! Get in touch if you think we'd be a good fit!
I work as a scientist in Laverton and like all things scientific, playing a bit of blues guitar, snow boarding, card tricks, festivals, kick boxing and watching TV shows / films. Im clean and tidy, enjoying hanging out as well as some of my own time. Looking for some housemates that would become mates too.

Hi there! I'm a 20 year old girl from Italy and I'm looking for a share house in Melbourne, ideally, not too far from the city and close to public transport. About me: I've been living in Australia for about a year, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful of others. I'm usually more comfortable with people older than me. I love socializing out and at home, but also like my own space and respect others' privacy. I work as a nanny/live out au pair in Footscray, but my real passion is cooking and I'd like to start working back in a kitchen soon. In my time off, I like reading, meeting friends for coffee, and movies. I would be more than happy to have a chat if you would be interested. Please note, I'm looking for someone or people to share with, not just a room to rent. Ideally, I'd like a situation where flatmates have a chat together now and then, share a glass of wine or watch a movie together. Hope to hear from you soon. kind regards, Valeria

Enjoy cooking, reading old crime novels and puzzles but also a Netflix Addict and love to explore the city in my free time!
