Hey, what's up? My name is Till, I'm an easy going, laid back, no drama kind of guy from Germany. I work full time in advertising as a content manager and will be in Melbourne to do so for 6 Months, starting May 1st. I love to dance (anywhere, anytime) and get out as much as possible, but I also enjoy a lazy night on the couch watching a show or a movie as well from time to time. I'm not too bad of a cook, however, I can never seem to get the portions right and always cook way too much. Since I'll only bring over 2 backpacks from Germany, it would be great if there'd at least be a mattress in my room or if you could help me get one. All in all I'm not looking for a mansion, but rather an affordable place to hit the hay and to have a good time in Melbourne. I don't consider myself a neatfreak, but I am obviously clean and reasonably tidy. Also, of course, I'm respectful to any nationalities, skin colours, sexual preferences, people's need for privacy and houserules. Hit me up if that sounds good to you, and I'm sure we'll figure something out! With regards, Till P.S.: don't worry too much about the districts I have selected – if I can get from your place to Cremorne in under or roughly one hour by public transport, that's fine.
Hi I'm Bec, I'm 23 years old and looking to move out into a share house now that I'm working full time. I've been working in quality control in the food industry full time for 10months and also work casually in hospitality. This keeps me quite busy so I'm often out of the house. In my free time I enjoy socialising with friends whether that's going out for dinner/drinks or going for walks of just hangout out at home. I also enjoy going to the gym and sailing. I'm a pretty tidy person and cleanliness is important to me although I'm not obsessive. I'd like to share a place with people that are friendly and are willing to have a chat and share a meal from time to time. I'm easygoing and looking forward to finding my future flat mates!
I'm am very easy going and drama free. I enjoy having a laugh and I am respectful of others. I also like to keep a house clean. I work full-time as a sales manager and often work long hours although I am looking to improve my work/life balance. I am just getting out of a long-term relationship and I am wanting to build a new life. I have also just started playing sports to help improve fitness
Thank you for taking the time. Please read the whole thing as I may say something of interest to you. Please see section titled 'flexibility'. I am very friendly, responsible, and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at Monash. I also work as a Designer. -------------------- Interests -------------------- Tennis, Golf, News, and Gym. -------------------- Nationality: Australian -------------------- -------------------- My schedule -------------------- I will usually leave by 8 AM, and come back to sleep after 8-9PM. I don't have much of a footprint. -------------------- Requirements for stay -------------------- 1. Very quiet 10 PM on wards - I need to sleep 2. Internet (Decent) 3. Clean and doesn't smell bad ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My proposal ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Period of stay -------------------- I am on a flexible contract, which means that I may stay: 2 weeks (0.5 month) > UP TO > 12 weeks (3 months) - at this stage. It could be even longer if I get another contract. -------------------- Notice -------------------- I am given 3 days notice by Monash. I will try my best to give you up to 3-7 days notice. -------------------- Flexibility -------------------- In order to accommodate you, I am willing to accept 3-7 day notice. This will give you tremendous flexibility - to have someone rent your room so you can earn income from it as long as they are there, whilst you may seek someone for longer term should you desire it. When you find them, simply give me notice. -------------------- Budget -------------------- My budget is up to $175 per week incl. all. It depends on location, property condition, facilities, convenience to transport (train / tram / bus), people etc. -------------------- Payment -------------------- I will pay upfront each week to designated bank account. -------------------- Bond -------------------- I cannot pay bond for good reasons. Firstly, the risk of rent non-payment (as I will pay in advance) or damage does not exist. I will pay for it should the need arise or am obligated. My experience with landlords who take bond has been full of delays and issues. I am willing to sign a written agreement for mutual understanding and listing of any obligations. If it is still an issue even though it shouldn't be, then we can exchange IDs. -------------------- Move-in date -------------------- I can move in today/tommorow. I arrive in Melbourne today.
Hello potential roomies! My name is Zanna and I have recently moved from Canada to Melbourne. Now your first reaction may be "oh god, not another backpacker", but that is definitely not me. I did not come to Australia to backpack, but to live (although I don't yet know for how long). And because I have come to live I am looking for a place to call home, where I can make great friends, relax and have drinks with the roommates, and just enjoy a typical Aussie lifestyle. I am an outgoing and genuinely happy person with a bubbly personality who is always keen to go on adventures and meet new people. I have been living in Melbourne for almost two months with a friend of mine that I met in South Africa. I am currently working at a cute little cafe in Sandringham and work between 30-40 hours a week. I am also actively looking for more professional work in the legal field as I am a recent graduate from Carleton Uni in Ottawa. I am quite an independent person and like to do my own thing, but also love to come together for dinner and socialise with my roommates and friends. I am very excited about the next stage of my journey in Melbourne and look forward to getting to know you all soon. Please let me know if you would like any further information about me or my future plans. Thanks!!
Hi there.. My names Chris . I'am 34 years of age . I work full time . Non smoker who doesn't mind if you do . Though I don't mind socialising on occasion, I tend be quite reserved so if you're looking for somone quite, clean and respectful please do not hesitate to contact me .

LOOKING FOR ACCOMODATION: 6 months to 12 months I have recently returned from travelling around the UK, Scandanavia, Europe, Cuba, Mexico and the USA for 6 months. I need to find a place as I am moving to the area to start new work in Real Estate in Beaumaris. I would like to find a somewhere chilled and relaxed, close to the Bay and work and house mate/s that aren't huge partiers, in to drugs, and a no drama environment. Easy to get along with, DTE and easy going guy. Clean, tidy and respectful. Not a huge partier, Non Smoker, I like to chill out at home after a long day, head to gym, be outdoors, beach, scuba dive, travel and enjoy meeting people. Happy to spend time getting to know a house mate, share a meal, head out for a drink etc, but also respectful of space and privacy. If that sounds like you then get in touch. Thanks.
Hi I am looking for a pretty fun, chilled and easy going sharehouse with people who will make sharing a place the best experience and that can have a chat here and there and genuinely care about respecting their fellow housemates. I am even happy to team up with one or two people to find an existing share house around the the chadstone, camberwell, bentleigh or brighton area. About me: I am a young professional working in retail management full time. I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed and friendly type of person who is neat and tidy and always happy to help complete jobs around the place, be supportive of my flatmates, be respectful of everyone, enjoys a good chat and happy to cook and share a meal with my housemates and don't mind staying in and having some quiet drinks with friends. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
I respect the privacy of others and also I'm a neat person so my room and facilities will be clean at all times.
Hey, I'm a freelance filmmaker (music videos, commercials, think anything creative!) just finished studying Psychology at Monash Uni. Living closer to the city at the moment but have been craving a more peaceful beach lifestyle since moving from my hometown in the country. I'm clean, mature & enjoy my own space at times but am always up for a chat or late night boogie in the city. A welcoming, fun & friendly home is what I'm all about :)
Im looking for a room in a sharehouse anywhere along bayside area :) Im 28, and working monday to friday in the city. I usually keep it pretty quiet during the week, besides work my weekdays mostly consist of naps, food, netflix and housework, and the weekends are usually my time to catch up with friends, try do mini roadtrips and beach it while the weather allows it, go out for a few drinks or check out pubs/gigs etc. Im a super easy-going housemate, Im tidy and clean, but dont mind having messy flatmates ( to a healthy extend ^^). Preferably I would live with people who are around my age ( mid 20s to mid 30s), who dont mind me hiding away in my room some days, but who are also up for the odd beer/pub/dinner catch up every now and then. wold love to live with a dog or pet in general ♥ Im currently paying rent monthly, my rent cycle starting on the 15th, so ideally I need someone who is somewhat flexible with moving in dates, since I cant find someone to take over my room until i've found a place. I do have bond and rent ready though, so happily pay that to secure :)
Hey there, My partner and I are looking to rent a house with a backyard, that's pet friendly for 2 small dogs. We both work part time, as well as play in corporate bands. Great rental history and we take great pride in maintaining a clean home. Looking to move as soon as possible, due to current rental house being converted into apartments. Regards, Tearnu & Adrian
Stable employment, honest, reliable and trustworthy. I keep to myself, I'm quiet, respectful and always offer a helping hand whatever it may be. I like a clean house, so I'll always ensure I clean up after myself. I am very low maintenance. I leave early in the morning for work, I'll return in the afternoon, head out to the gym or go for a run, come home and go to bed Mon - Fri. I'll normally be out and about most weekends, so you'll never notice I'm there.
I'm super friendly, easy going and have a bubbly, positive attitude! I'm clean and tidy, pretty quiet but love to have a chat and share dinner and/or a glass of wine from time to time. I love to keep fit so will often be out walking or running, I'm very respectful of personal space, I have no pets, no children and don't smoke.
Just looking for a chilled house, love home cooking and a decent backyard for hangs :) im about to start studying and have just come home from travelling in england :) looking for a non smoking house ( outside is fine ) not into hectic busy homes or party houses. I Like keeping healthy and fit :) love to get in the yard and keep a clean house, have been known to have a wine an enjoy a solid boogie in the lounge room disco.
Well where do i start. I can cook a great meal. I know alot of people say that but i have worked in kitchens in Canada. I'm respectful of people's space and privacy. Im a believer in having the house neat and tidy and smelling nice. I predominantly work as a personal trainer and crossfit coach. How ever when i move to Melbourne this may change for a short period until i find my feet so to speak. I've never been kicked out or been late on bills in other previous house sharing. My current housemates love me and are sad that i'm leaving them for Melbourne. You'd be very lucky to have me live with you
I am Self-employed. I study Diploma in childcare. I like to go to gym, indoor and outdoor sports to keep myself happy and fit. Hi, I'm from Shanghai and I'll start my grduate study on fashion in RMIT very soon. I studied Management for my bachelor degree, and I used to work in big 4 for learning & development stuff. After 2 years of a boring and repetitive work, I decided to quit and re-start with sth I really love in a different but lovely city. My friends always comments me as a thoughtful and caring guy with deep empathy. I'm not sure if this comment is too high or not enough objective, but I do could always get along with the people around me very well. Also I'm quite a tidy guy and I like to keep my place clean, cosy and organized. What's more, I had almost 7 years experience of living in share accommodation, so I'm absolutely clear with the common rules. I like travelling, art, music... oh and movies are definetly my cup of tea, I'm quite a movie lover. I enjoy drinking moderately & occasionally, alone or out with friends. Well, above is a simple listing of myself, you could learn more about me in person if you're interested or if we got chance to be flatemates :) Cheers

Hey! I'm looking to move soon, preferably staying on the south side however I'm open! Originally a brissie chick, I've lived in Sydney, London and now Melbourne. I'm a trained drama and dance teacher, but just doing general teaching at the moment. I'm very house trained, laid back and considerate housemate. Looking for a clean house mate/s, who would be up for some fun times!
Firstly I'll address the pet: 1 British short hair male desexed and microchipped cat who lives outside most of the day and comes inside for naps. I am...Friendly, outgoing, easy going, I keep my nose out of peoples business and lives, I don't give advice or tell people what to do, lived in share houses before with males and females. I like all types of music and am not bothered by noises, unless its late on a work night. I am tidy and clean up after myself. I work part-time at a fashion store in the city and then do bookkeeping on the side as well as tanning and fake eyelash extensions. If there are any specific questions you have please feel free to contact me, I'm more than happy to answer.

Hi I'm Dirk van Eck a 20 year old guy from the Netherlands. I'm on my working holiday and I work full time at a smoothie bar on the monash university. I want to stay in a place till the end of June because I go to India for 1 month, after that I come back to Melbourne. I'm very easy going, calm, social and friendly to everyone. I'm not a party animal but I like to drink a beer or a wine. I like sports and going to the beach in my spare time but sometimes I also like to do nothing. I'm sick of sleeping in the hostels so I'll be very happy if someone has a room available for me! I hope that I wrote enough information but if you have any questions just send me a message and I'll answer everything. Bye bye
Hey Guys, I have lived with two guys before, as well as just one guy and currently I'm living with a bf and gf and another female, so four of us. In all honesty, I'm probably looking for something a bit more chilled with just one other person. The thing is, I currently live in Newcastle NSW and am looking to relocate to Melbourne around June/July so I am putting my feelers out there! I work six days a week at the moment so there isn't a lot of down time, I still fit in time to train four to five times a week and love my cooking, huge animal lover also but I don't cook the animals 😉 I just cuddle them. I love having a red wine with my gfs and try to do it as much as I can. I'm not someone that needs mothering, I am self sufficient and am just looking for a clean and easy going flat mate that if you have time for a wine or a joke in our cross over or down time, that sounds perfect to me. I guess my one 'hiccup' if you would call it that, is I have started my own label, so I would need either a second room or to be able to use the garage for my sewing machine and fabric materials etc, I also have a solid collection of clothing so need a built in wardrobe 😬 other than that I'm the perfect flat mate. You must be cool with animals, I don't currently have any, long story, but recusing a kitten is on the cards 👌🏻😍 maybe 😏 I wouldn't say I'm a typical 31 year old ( what even is a typical 31 year old?) I love a good night out with my friends but then I also am all for the grandma life with a good book and cup of tea. $250 is my max a week if bills and internet are included. And looking for a minimum of 6months. Ta heaps. Heidi
I am a sociable person, easy to get on with. Australian citizen. I am clean and tidy. I work full time as a paralegal for a law firm in the CBD. I like animals. I travel interstate approximately every 2 weeks for the weekend. I like my own space but enjoy a chat. I respect a person's privacy.
I'll try to keep this brief. I'm super clean and tidy. If your home is a mess, your life is likely to be. I'm really ambitious and driven. I own my own companies but don't like living alone. It can get pretty boring :( A normal day looks like this: * Up at 5am * Training by 5:30am-7am * Working from 7am till 6pm * 1000 steps by 7pm * Home by 8pm * Dinner by 8:30pm One of the biggest perks of having me as a housemate. I bring chef made ready meals home every week. They are really tasty and balanced. You'll never go hungry. Enough to share with your friends as well lol. I also sing, song write and produce music on the weekends, so I'm rarely home, but when I am home, you'll have a laugh at the nonsense that happens to me throughout the day. I swear my life is comical.
I am in my mid twenties from Ireland. Working full time as a Greenkeeper Monday to Friday, no unsociable hours. Like to keep clean and tidy. I am easy going, laid back person, respect privacy of others and a non smoker. I like keeping busy by being out and about. But like to come home and relax in a quiet, chilled atmosphere. Would enjoy an evening with my housemate, having a chat and a beer or two. But also respect them and their space. Have been living in Melbourne over a year now. Have lived in shared houses in Ireland, America, New Zealand, Melbourne can provide references. Looking for a place preferably in Hampton, Elwood, Elsternwick, Prahran, Windsor or surrounding suburbs. Looking for a clean place, dont mind sharing with a couple, would like a furnished room if possible. Available to move anytime, preferably as soon as possible.
I'm Natália, a 29yo brazilian and marketing manager. Respectful, friendly and clean. Used to sharing apartments in different countries. Would like a flatmate that wants to be friends and interact a bit while still maintaining their own life and privacy. Not interested in shared rooms! Tks!

My name is Saskia, I am a 32 year old female. I am looking for pet friendly accommodation in Melbourne! I am currently studying dog training and am looking for long term accommodation that will allow me to have a dog. I am respectful and responsible and have a good tenancy history that I can supply. Ideally I would like a one bedroom studio apartment, or a sharehouse with some lovely flat mates and a backyard for my pooch. I have a steady full time job in the CBD that gives me financial security, and can pay bond and rent upfront. About me: Respectful, quiet, responsible, interesting, multi faceted, open minded, calm, caring. Interests: mindful dog training, travel, adventures, cultures and different experiences, existentialism and the human experience generally and enjoy the odd glass of wine, hiking, movies, learning.
Hi I'm Chris British guy that's lived here near on 8 years. I work full time in sports surfacing and in my down time I like to catch up with friends, beers and gigs. Looking around Eastern suburbs but not limited to.
Would rather stay a place long term. Dont really have a desired move in date. Currently working as an apprentice mechanic. Hobbies include fitness, surfing, going out to gigs. Just want a place thats chill and has a good vibe...and close to the beach. As a person, Im always up for a chat about basically anything and often have a drink on a friday to wind down. Love a bit of banter from time to time. Otherwise easygoing, always clean up after myself, pay the rent on time n stuff. Chill as fuck basically. If I sound like that 12/10 candidate shoot us a message
Easy going and barely home. When home I love to cook and bake. I've been in Melbourne for just over a year from Brisbane so I'm still excited about exploring this city and it's surrounds.
Easy going guy, work as an engineer, enjoy a chat as well as my alone time. Pretty excellent cook (if I do say so myself). Clean and tidy but not a neat-freak. Avid rock-climber and cyclist (so I come with a bike). Just moved to Melbourne from Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. Open minded and progressive thinking with an abundance of intellectual curiosity. Happy to live with anyone who is cool and interesting, tolerant and intelligent.
We are a couple relocating from Wellington, New Zealand. We are looking for a temporary (approximately, 3-month) lease of a tidy, furnished place until we step on our feet and decide on where we would like to live longer-term. Thank you.
I initially seem shy, but become much more outgoing as I get to know people, and like to have the occasional gathering with friends. I am clean and take pride in my home, but also don't have a problem with mess sometimes. I like to feel like my housemates think of me as family. Looking for a place to stay while my boyfriend is working overseas, with the possibility of staying longer depending on how people feel about him :)
Hello I'm giada... a I'm an Italian girl of 25 years ... I arrived in Melbourne two months ago. I work all week in a cafe... I'm a nice, quiet, clean respectful and sociable girl.
Currently in university and working part time in retail, I'm independent and neat. I am social but enjoy my down time as well! Looking for easy going roomies and a homey atmosphere. I love to cook, have a bit of netflix time and just hang out!
Hi Guys, Myself and my girlfriend Emmy are looking for a place to call home for a couple of months. We are both working and consider ourselves to be respectful, tidy and sociable characters. We enjoy cooking and are easy going flatmates. We are ideally looking to move in around April 1st or earlier. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have a room that might be suitable :) Thanks Warren & Emmy
Hi, I am a 29year old female. I am moving to Melbourne shortly and am looking for a home not a house. I am very clean and tide (I'm not just saying that I actually am). I work in fashion, I love the beach and would like to live close to the water. While the house that you live in is important I feel that the people that you live with is even more important. I would like to either enter an establish house or form a household of people that are friendly, sociable, likes a good laugh and considerate of common areas within the house. I am looking for a share house that is really a house where people live like a family. Super Important: I have a 3year old very well behaved Cavoodle (none shedding-dog). She is part of my family and I only want to live with other dog lovers. I am flexible with my move date. If this sounds like you I would love to hear from you!!!!!
Hi! We are Karina and Elise, 2 fun, Country girls and are looking for one or two others (B OR G) to team up with us to find a place in the above areas! Elise: A qualified MUA, with a foot in the door for hospitality, is super dedicated to her work. Enjoys working out, brunch dates and cooking! A friendly and motivated gal that likes to keep things clean and tidy without being over the top. Karina: I am a full-time Housing Officer who loves being active, trying new places to eat and catching up with friends. Love going on adventures and travelling to new places and looking forward to moving back to the city after being back in the country area for 12 months. Clean and tidy also and usually an "organiser". We have both had previous experience living out of home and would love if those interested have the same. We are looking for someone who shares a similar mindset, is very social and loves to have a laugh. We also would like to share a house with a clean and tidy person, non-smoker without pets. Message me for more details! We have already begun to inspect houses and look for them, so some work has already been put in as we need to move in the next two weeks! Looking forward to meeting our housemates!
Hiya Im Dom Im looking for a place to live this year while I study my diploma of horticulture at Glen Waverly. I work part time as a gardener during the week and most of the rest of my time at a music studio in Ballarat. Im looking for a house with a big room and nice big backyard as I do come with a dog! His name is Jack and he is very lazy and affectionate, and very well behaved. No barking or silly stuff. Im easy going, enjoy a good yarn or dinner date with housemates and like to keep a tidy space.
Hi! I'm looking for a new home close to the city - filled with people that are very clean, healthy, loving and fun. I'm an organised, healthy and ambitious person, but don't worry inbalance that out with a great sense of humour, love of fun and being a big ol’ ball of geek! I currently work in the creative industries. I love heading out on adventures, dancing and doing active outdoorsy things but equally value time chilling at home, creating cool stuff or just hanging out. I'm a generally easy going person but i've lived in share houses long enough to know what i like and i'm honest about what I want so read on :) My type of share house is one in which everyone can easily use the space as their own. Meaning shared spaces in particular are always left in an extremely clean and functional-for-everyone state and general cleaning/upkeep tasks are shared and done every few weeks. I like to uphold a relaxed/friendly/supportive/respectful/loving/fun vibe in the house and being really honest and open with communication. Other things you should know: - Housemates are all the best parts of family and friends for me. I genuinely care about the people i live with and the space around me so I expect a similarly high level of respect and initiative back. - Looking for rent less than $120 a week ideally - Location wise within 20 minutes public transport access to chapel st/richmond/city is a must. - I like to do monthly meal preps so quite a fridge and freezer space is a plus! - I own a beautiful big antique mirror and it would be epic to use this somewhere! - I like a generally peaceful, comfortable, very clean and functional living environment - Cleaning with low fragrance/ low chemical products (vinegar/bicarb/natural sprays). Strong smelling stuff causes my body all sorts of issues ( i know its weird!) so I try to keep that to a minimum and ask that people i live with respect that. - I have a car so space or street parking is a factor If you've read this far and are still curious, wewww get in touch! You're probably the type of amazing person i'm looking for in a housemate! Shoot me a message and let's find out for sure! *Bonus points if you’re in the business, creative or tech industries.
I'm a clean, neat person who is quiet to live with. I'm not usually home much as I love getting out and exercising, seeing friends, and going out to the countryside. Anything that doesn't make a lot of dishes is my favourite meal to cook at home. I work mainly in evenings, and spend my days out and about getting things done when not at tafe.

Hey, I'm Lizzie. I'm new to this beautiful city and have just moved over from Adelaide to complete my post-graduate Psychology Studies at Deakin University. My course is like a full time job, and I study on campus 8-5 most weekdays, with occasional extra study to do on evenings and weekends. I take a lot of pride in my studies, and see myself as more of a professional, rather than a student. I absolutely love Melbourne so far, and am a big fan of wine, coffee and great food. I've chosen to search for accommodation a little further from my campus in Burwood so I have better access to the city, and the wonderful cafes, bars and restaurants Melbourne has to offer. I have a car and easy on or off street parking is a must! I enjoy going out and about and exploring, and love to have a glass of wine or two, but am not a big party person. I'm in my mid-twenties but I'm a bit of an old soul and prefer a Sunday spent at brunch or the markets instead of on the couch with a hangover. I'm friendly and social and looking for a like-minded roommate I can have a laugh with. I'm always up to share a glass of wine, or a meal from time to time but happy to respect your space if that's preferred. I definitely would prefer a roommate who is up for a conversation and a laugh, not looking to just pass each other silently in the halls. I've got experience living in share accommodation, and looking for respectful, positive housemates and a beautiful, comfortable place to call home. Currently flexible with move-in dates and length of stay. Thanks, Lizzie
We are an easy going couple who are respectful to live with. We love socialising but also love doing our own thing. We work in hospitality and are looking for a quiet enough place where we can chill out.
