Hi, My name is Laura. I am a primary school teacher and I am 33 years old. I am social but have my own life and always busy during the week. I like to enjoy a wine at home with my house mates but also enjoy going out. I am friendly, kind, easy going and clean.
Looking to live near the beach and city South Eastern side. I'm currently renting my own place but wanting to move closer to the city. I am easy going, quiet and clean and tidy up after myself, into conscious living, music, like to read and explore art. Mostly vegetarian. Love to get out to visit markets, cafes, go for beach walks and meditate. I work in a busy retail store with varying hours and like to chill out when I get home. Enjoy catchups with share mates and also really enjoy time to myself writing or working on my photography so you will have your own space. Have had home stay guests so I know the deal about sharing and respect and have shared before. Not the partying type but enjoy some social nights and sharing a meal now and then. I have a car so I need a parking space and would love a home with a back yard so I can catch some sunshine and perhaps grow some potted herbs we can enjoy. Hope to hear from a positive minded flatmate thanks!
Hi - I am Anja, 30 years old, German, biologist and postdoc at Monash University (full-time position). I plan to stay here for around 2 years. I am tidy, easy-going, like animals and the beach, love to drink a glass of wine or beer after work, cooking together or watch a movie, but also need my private space. Happy to find new friends and a new home! Best wishes Anja
Looking to move out ASAP. Originally from Perth I have been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years and am currently studying full time at uni. I am a sociable person who loves going out for dinner and drinks but I also value my personal space and am very respectful of others. Looking for team ups for an apartment or townhouse preferably.
Hi there! My name is Emma, I am 19 and have recently relocated to Melbourne from the Mid North Coast and I am in need of a place to stay. I've just landed a full time job and am soon to pick up study again soon so I wouldn't get in your way. I am very tidy, a non smoker and have no pets (although would love it if you had one!). I have rented a complete house before so I understand the care and maintenance involved when looking after you own home. To keep this short and sweet I'll say I'm super friendly and outgoing and am happy to look at any offers!
Come back from a 3 month holiday in February - Looking preferably round inner eastern suburbs but happy to live in inner north suburbs. Not one to cook up a storm, so don't expect a masterchef, but am a pretty tidy person and like to think I could bring that to the table. Not one to bring a party home, but do love having a few beers and judging reality tv stars on the box. Will be continuing my uni degree of Urban Development and working 30+hrs a week.
I've been living in Melbourne for over 1.5 year. Working part-time and doing an MBA. Easy going, clean that enjoy some drinks.
Hi! My name is Emma! I am backpacker from Sweden and I am currently staying in Melbourne! I would love to share a room/apartment with other people for awhile! It would be a really nice experience. I love to grab a beer, have dinners etc. And I'm always up to try new things! I'm easy going, friendly and tidy! :)
Hi, I’m Emma! I'm currently working full time as a Senior Personal Assistant at KPMG in Docklands. I'm a friendly, respectful and tidy flat mate. I'm looking for a mature environment to rent for a minimum of 6month period. I'd ideally like to live with people who don't mind having the occasional conversation/ dinner and a glass of wine when everyone’s free but are also respectful of each others space. During the week I spend a lot of time at the office, and when it’s really busy at work I tend to have more nights home cooking and winding down than eating out, with the weekends being my more social moments out and about with friends. I absolutely love my job and am focusing a lot on my career and professional developments at the moment, along with trying to become more active and healthy, I’m honestly so unfit it's funny, so if you’re an active person who can show me a thing or two on an occasion, I would raise my hand to that. If by chance I sound like someone you/ your housemates would like to share with, I would love to hear from you so please feel free to get in touch.
Im pretty easy going and down to earth, very work and study orientated. I come from New Zealand and moved out of home when I moved here just after I turned 16 and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I know I'm abit young but I'm desperately in need for a new place to live as I have to move out of the current house I'm in by March. Im very into music and I play guitar, sing and dance. Im also transgender just thought I'd put that out there because I know some people may have a problem with that. I'm very tidy and clean and have no problems with helping out with stuff (cooking, cleaning etc) I'm also about to study exercise and sports science full time at uni and I work part time at grilld (usually nights). I love the beach and anything to do with water and I tend to stick to myself but can also be very social
Hey Team, I'm living the search to find a place to call home, recently coming back to Melbourne from working out on the big white Mountain of Mt Hotham. I'm 20 years old. Currently training to be Bar manager in St Kilda, love humans and creating good Memories. I also enjoy down time, I feel we all need a little rest time to time. I have a car so location location is not an issue, very relaxed individual, trained to be tidy (on ya Mum) If I branch out to you or you somehow stumble across my profile, don't be shy to say Hi, I'm from WA so we believe everyone's our mate. Literally. If you made it this far down, Thank you for reading. Dan
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
Hey everyone! I am looking for a private room for Feb 7th, 2017. A bit about me, I am a young professional working in commercial banking. Have been doing it for a few years and have recently been considering a career change. Possibly open up my own business! I am quite social and love to meet new people, but also balanced and can give space too. I'm very transparent and hope to find some mates who have the same values/interests. I am quite flexible with the duration of my stay. I prefer to find a place that is furnished and tidy. Close to public transportation and grocery stores are always a bonus! Looking for a place that is around $200/pw inclusive of utilities and internet. If you have something that may be of interest please send me a message! Look forward to meeting you!
Hey. My names Ben I'm 23 currently working full time as a carpenter. I'm a pretty relaxed house mate. Enjoy my sports going to the beach and socialising with mates. Bills are always paid on time and always clean up after myself.
G'day, My name is Laurie. I am 40 years old, Australian, and work as an excavator operator. I Have a 6 year old male short hair border collie named Bon who is very friendly and house trained, he is a very well mannered dog. I am looking for an easy going house where my dog is welcome inside. Would be nice if i was moving in with people that would enjoy sharing time with him. The ideal situation for me would be living in a house where maybe someone that loves dogs works from home or a house with another dog and secure yard as i hate leaving him home alone whilst at work, not because that's a problem, just because he is so intelligent. I have vintage taste, I like older style houses that are furnished with second hand stylish bits and pieces though open to modern, I am also a music lover and like to collect vintage audio equipment, vinyl records etc. I am not one to watch a lot of TV i prefer to have music playing and i listen to all genres though I also enjoy peace and quiet. I have lived overseas spending nearly 10 years in Scotland and a couple in Ireland, Where i actually rented rooms my self to people so I am big on respecting your fellow housemates. When I am working I start on site at 7am, so I am generally getting up at around 5, I take a quick shower ,make my lunch and shoot out the door. Times may vary a little depending on where I am working. I don't want to live in a party house, its 2017! I am giving up smoking so would prefer a non smoking household, my intentions also are to start living a healthier lifestyle, I want to be closer to the beach for both my self and the dog, maybe join a gym etc. Though i also want get out and enjoy the restaurants and be able to go down the local and chill with my dog and a cold beer on nice days. I would also like to extend my social network which is part of the reason for moving to the city, I am currently down the Mornington Peninsula which has its limitations. My intentions are to also keep saving for a house, so i don't want to go overboard on rent, though i will be happy to pay a bit more for a place with a bit of space, and that is most importantly right for my dog. I don't have a lot of furniture, I would only be bringing bedroom stuff, kitchen stuff if needed. Though I am pretty resourceful, have a Ute, and I am always op shopping or hitting Garage sales...if there is anything needed i will find it. No i am not going to furnish a house with rubbish! (-; You would be amazed what i find. I think I would like to be living with people around 35 to 45 though I am open to anything really as long as it feels right. I also have a motorcycle (GSXR1000)so if there is room for that, that would be excellent though not essential. I think that will do for now until i can think of more...please ask me any questions, and i will do my best to get back to you asap. cheers Laurie.
Hi, My name is Bradley and I'm a friendly, easy going 24 year old. I work in Dandenong South as the general manager of a steel warehouse. I'm looking for a place to stay as my current lease is close to being finished, and I would like a change of scenery.
Hey! I'm Harley. I'm a 25 year old Male currently living in South Yarra. I moved over here around 3 years ago and at that stage wanted to live near the city. Now I've been hereading a bit I'm wanting to move out further. I work full time and am a very respectful person. I'm clean and tidy without being OCD and dont throw parties. But in saying that I don't mind a couple beers now and then. I am looking for a stable house hold because I genuinely hate moving and everything that comes with it. thanks
Hey there! I'm urgently looking for a new place to live with cheap-ish rent by the end of February at the lastest!! I'm a pretty easy going gal to live with. I would prefer my own room, Im usually busy with a lot going on but i love to just chill out at the end of the day, i'm also a clean & tidy person. I'm trying to save up so i have 3 jobs, I'm a nanny, i work in a bar and i also work as a model. Im going back toto uni this year to study interior design at RMIT! I go to gym sometimes, so i'm trying to be healthy, but deep down I'm a guilty sweet tooth and chocolate addict. I've lived in Melbourne for almost a year now, i'm originally from Queensland but i love it here in Melbourne and I'm here to stay.
I am a 22 year old male, and I'm hoping to move to Melbourne from Tasmania. I desperately need a change of scenery. I will be looking for work, but hopefully I can transfer with my current job in Tasmania. I love music, movies and relaxing with friends. I'm great at keeping tidy, always well mannered and respectful, and easy going. I live for coffee (I think coffee keeps me alive) and love dogs.
I'm Jeremy and I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane to take a new job. I work as an Environmental Scientist for a consultancy firm, which takes me out of town regularly for up to a couple of weeks at a time. So I guess the best thing about living with me is that I won't be there all the time! Looking for somewhere for at least six months, preferably nearish to The Bay. Thanks for reading!
Hey there! My name is Sham, I'm 22 years old and from Adelaide. I've been accepted to study at Monash University in 2017 and so I'm making the move over to Melbourne! I consider myself a people person and love to spend time with others, a lot of my spare time is spent over good food and drinks with my family and friends. I'm easy to get along with and am very trustworthy and reliable. I'd love to move in with flatmates who enjoy hanging out while also respecting each other's personal space. I'd be more than happy to tell you a little bit more about myself so feel free to get in touch! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Me and Daniel are 23 from England and have done a lot of travelling around Australia. This is the last part of our journey and would love to spend it with some fun people who are always up for a laugh. We aren't a couple that show public affection so don't have to sorry about that haha. We both work full time and are clean and out going people who love a good night out or just to have social drinks and fun. We both like to eat healthy and keep as fit as we can but also love to meet new people from all walks of life 😃
Me and my partner are looking for a small flat or a room in a sharehouse. We're from Poland. We're easy-going, friendly, funny, clean couple. We love to spend our free time outdoor. We're perfect neighbours or flatmates :)
Hi there! I am an outgoing 23 year old moving to Melbourne from the north (brrr) of Sweden. I am starting a Master's Program at Monash University and am looking for a long-term rental. I am not too picky about my accommodation except for a private room and preferably close to the Caulfield campus. I am a non-smoker, keep my common areas clean and can make some yummy Swedish desserts. I enjoy the outdoors and travelling, have spent my last year in Cape Town working and spend a lot of time snowboarding during the winter. I will be studying at Monash during the days but hopefully meet some interesting people along the way in Melbourne so if you have any rooms available, please let me know! /Emma, your future roommate
Hi my names Eleni, i'm 22 and i've lived in melbs for 2.5 years originally from tassie, i moved over with work (i'm a retail manager in mens wear) i'm fun, relaxed and outgoing i take pride in where i live apart from my room hehe, i love fashion and clothes. i'm clean and tidy and i'm Greek so i must like to cook (jokes I'm shit i can steam and microwave but i'm 10/10 for menu log) my weekends if i'm not at work i'm heading to chapel street for a couple of drinks and a crazy time. I smoke full time and drink part time but trust me you'll have a good time living with me cause isn't that what life is all about having fun?
I am looking for a room to rent 2-3 nights per week. I live in the outer suburb of Berwick and work in the CBD. To break up the week for me I would like to spend a few nights closer to the city. I am very busy with my work, a non smoker and very tidy.
Hi, I'm Georgia, I work full time and I'm studying part time online to develop my career. I'm outgoing, friendly and not going to lie, I don't mind a chat. I'm quite social, usually out with friends and doing something, I'm not much of a homebody whatsoever. I am looking for a housemate, however its important to me that it is someone who is friendly and has some similar interests. :)
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (photography) at RMIT in the city. Before I moved to Melbourne in January 2016 I was a journalist for a country newspaper and have since moved away from writing and started using my cameras a lot more (including film and vintage polaroids). This year I hope to start a personal blog to maintain the passion I have for writing. I photograph music and people. I have worked for Groovin the Moo and Falls Festivals and many renowned artists and bands in the three years since I decided to pursue photography as a lifelong career. When I'm not taking photographs I play music, both guitar and piano and this year I am taking up vocal lessons with the hope to pursue a solo music project I've had in mind for quite some time. I'm originally from the country and moved from rural South Australia in January 2016 to begin studies here in Melbourne. I am now in my second year of a three-year course and will need to secure accommodation before the end of February. For the meantime, I am currently staying with my friends in Ferntree Gully. I have been a club photographer and do enjoy being social, going out for dinner, drinks, brunch, coffee and engaging in great conversation and building friendships, something I didn't really get to experience in the sharehouse I was in last year. I am a neat, tidy and sometimes quiet person who enjoys their quiet time just as much as the social side of things. This year I hope to find a bubbly, friendly, mature and sensible household to become part of as I believe that surrounding yourself with the right people with an abundance of positive vibes and energy will only stimulate my creativity and really fulfil the expectations I have placed on making this year my own, as well as an uplifting and rewarding year for the people around me too. I know I got a little bit long with this but I hope to find a great sharehouse or even something to myself by the end of February or else I might have to put my degree on hold or something as I will have no means of accommodation here in Melbourne and I really, really don't want that to happen. P.S I am also a huge dog lover, I miss my furry friend back home so badly, but if you have a dog, it is certainly no issue, it would actually be a huge benefit.
Hi! I recently moved to Melbourne and started my PhD. I try to maintain a normal work schedule during the week and I like to go out in the evenings and on the weekend. I'm looking for a clean and quiet place close to public transport with shops and restaurants in walking distance. I'm easy to get a long with and happy to meet new people.
Friendly and upbeat person. Up for a chat and sometimes sharing a meal with housemates or likewise happy doing my own thing independently. When I'm not working I like to relax with Pilates, go see friends and family or catch a movie. Looking for a household that is reasonably quiet.
University of Melbourne graduate. Looking for a shared apartment or studio for 6+ months in surrounding suburbs of Melbourne city. I am currently doing part time work and looking for full time job in Actuarial or banking field. I have a vivid experience in sharing houses with both the genders in the past and have never missed or delayed a rent payment. I am flexible with the dates and prices if a good deal is up. Currently overseas, travelling, will return on 10th of Jan, so shooting an email or what's app suits me. I play footy twice a week and gym almost everyday. Highly compatible with fitness freaks and yoga instructors. Need not mention, easy going, respect privacy, blah blah.. Cheers
Hi there my name is Michelle Spies and I am looking for accommodation for 3 months. I will be working full time as a barista and will also be working as a personal trainer in my other spare time. I am a very neat and tidy person and i am easy to get along with :)
We are both 27 years old, full time workers, easy going, down to earth. My girlfriend Sally works in a student exchange company, she is Aussie from Melbourne and I'm from Brazil currently working for a flooring company. Thanks, Charlles
I'm very clean, trustworthy and respectful. I'm an ex-corporate world worker now working on opening my own business, working part time in hospitality and studying nutrition (I have a Bachelors and Masters, this time doing a Diploma). I'm very health conscious, love nature and connecting with like minded individuals. I'm no longer a party animal, but enjoy the occasional red!
Hi! My name is Kane. I'm 30 years old and own a BBQ cleaning & maintenance company which has now been operating for 8 years. I'm really easy to get along with, clean, tidy and respectful of others. I also own two very friendly, loving and playful dogs who are also very well trained and cared for. Between work and those two I stay very active but also don't mind getting out for a few drinks or a meal with mates.
I am 26 years old, originally from Adelaide, but I was living in Melbourne for several years, up until the start of 2016, at which point I spent 10 months travelling around South East Asia and India. I am currently back living in Adelaide, but moving to Melbourne once again, to commence professional, full-time work in my field of product design. I enjoy music; listening to it as well as playing a range of instruments (mostly guitar – but don’t worry, I am very considerate of noise levels in a share house!) and I regularly go out to see live bands. My other passion (and profession) is design and I often attend the many design/art related events, openings and exhibitions that Melbourne constantly has to offer. Other than that, I love all things food and coffee related and will usually jump at any chance to try out a new café or restaurant (or bar! although in that case, “food and coffee” will be substituted for “beer and/or wine”). I’m quite partial to getting out in that rare and elusive bit of Melbourne sun, for a walk or bike ride on the weekends and when I’m at home, I enjoy a good movie, documentary or Netflix/tv show binge. As a housemate, I am very easy to live with. I will be working full-time hours, so I will generally only be home in the evenings and weekends, I am neat and tidy, sociable but also considerate of other peoples’ space and belongings (you won’t even have to label your food in the fridge!), happy to do my bit when it comes to housekeeping and always pay rent and any bills on time. I have an extensive history of living in share houses, both in Adelaide and Melbourne and I can provide references from a previous private rental agency or past housemate/landlord if required. If you think I could be your future housemate, I would ideally be looking for a move-in date around the 25th of January (I begin work on the 30th January), although I can be flexible if it’s a matter of a few days either way. Unfortunately, as I am currently in Adelaide, it is unlikely that we will be able to meet in person before I get to Melbourne (and hopefully by then I have secured a place to live – fingers crossed!), however, I am more than happy to have a chat on the phone or even arrange a Skype call if you would like to talk in a somewhat face-to-face manner. Hit me up! Tom
Hi there, my name is Kat and I am a full-time student looking for a quiet and clean place to move it. Myself, between my 2 part-time jobs and uni I like to socialise and swim. Shoot me a message if you think we would make a good team.
I'm new to Melbourne, and am moving there sometime in February. I'll be couch-surfing with a mate for a couple weeks while I look for a place, so I'm flexible on the move-in date! I'm a relaxed, clean and friendly guy. I have a steady, full-time professional job in the CBD. I'm an excellent cook and enjoy cooking for others - also love to sneak in a glass or two of wine or whisky. I'm a no-dramas kind of person, so I'm very easy to live with. I'm also very respectful of other people's space and belongings. I'm a former lawyer (now somewhere much happier), so I'm probably reasonably useful if you get sued. With that said, please don't get sued. I like movies, sport, board games, and travel (doesn't everyone like travel, though?). And food, but I think that's a given since I love cooking! I have a small, friendly, indoor cat. He's well-trained, 7 years old, and non-destructive. Very well trained, too. I'd also be interested in teaming up - even with a few people. If we could get 4-5 of us together, we could get a really nice 4/5 bedroom place which would usually be well outside our price ranges, for about $200-$250 each. The main requirements I have - ideally I'd prefer a large bedroom (and I'm happy to pay more for this) as I have a large bed, and people would need to be happy to share with the cat and feed him on the occasional weekends when I head home for a day or two - if you have pets, of course, I'd be happy to reciprocate!
Hey guys me and chloe are looking for a room to share !!! Moving back to melbourne for work and travel, very clean and quiet chick's!!! Always out on an advanture(s)/working full time !!!!
I am a friendly and witty IT professional looking for a short term accommodation in Australia. I love to play badminton, basketball, video games and board games. I am trustworthy, tidy and respectful person who can be your ideal flatmate. 😄
I would ideally like to find a 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom place in the Elwood area to rent with one other young professional. My name is Emily and I currently live in Elwood on my own in a 1 bedroom place. My lease is up in Feb and I would like to rent with one other person in the Elwood/St Kilda area near the beach. During the week I work full time in the CBD as a manager in recruitment. On weekends I love to be social, have fun, head to the beach and hang out with friends. I have previously lived in a share house of 6 so i am no stranger to sharing! My ideal place would have air conditioning, a courtyard/deck of some kind, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a nice feel to it. I am open to all options of a housemate so long as you are neat, clean, friendly, reliable with rent and above all, easy to get along with :)
My name is Andy and I'm from England, I'm looking for either a share house or flat share. I'm easy going very chilled and I can clean up after myself! I like my space to chill but I don't mind socialising on a weekend. I am on a WHV but have been living in Melbourne for over a year. I always pay bills/rent on time with no excuses. Just looking for something that can fit a double bed in really. Thanks
Well, I've just looking for a place in which I can have privacy and have some good friends. I'm very respectful of other peoples privacy and space, but if someone want to have a nice chat with a beer I can be that as well. I'm a Chilean lawyer, who is interested in staying in Melbourne for at least two more yeas, so that mean that I will be stable on the rent payment and for a considerable amount of tima
I am a female Health and Safety professional working in the energy sector. I will be studying part time in the evenings at the Uni of Melbourne. I am looking for a non-party house due to my studies. I am clean and respectful of others space, I mind my business but I am not antisocial, I enjoy getting to know people I am living with without intruding on their privacy.
Hey, my name's Deb and I'm looking for a place around South Yarra, Prahran or near the beach. Working full time and love filling my weekends with lots of things to get the most out of them. Love music, the outdoors, fitness & yoga and people! I'm positive and upbeat and enjoy living in Melbourne because of the awesome things it has to offer. I'm a fab housemate, considerate, tidy and mindful of space. Looking for a considerate, friendly person to share a home with.
I have lived in a sharehouse with friends for the past 3 years in Scotland. We loved living together and got along really well. I am very easy going but also clean up after myself. I have moved to Melbourne and am looking for somewhere to live in which I will feel comfortable, and meet great people.
Heyo, My names Brogan and I am from Christchurch, New Zealand. I have just graduated from University and am moving to Melbourne to start a new job in a music studio. I am easy going, clean, tidy and will also be pretty busy so I wont be in anyones face constantly. I also enjoy a few drinks with good times!
I'm moving from Berlin to Melbourne in march. I'm going to do a 3-month exchange as a final-year medical student. That's why looking to find a place that will feel like home and not just a place to stay. :)
Hi there! My name is Heleen, and I am a 30 y/o Dutchie from Amsterdam. I just got in town and will be working at Monash for the coming year, so I'm looking for a nice place to stay! Since I'll be working full time I'm not interested in a party house, but rather a nice home with grown-up ;) flatmates to share friendship, stories & wines, and the occasional dinner. If you can relate please send me a p.m! Heleen
Hi All, We are three flatmates looking for a new place to move in ASAP. We are all in our mid-20s and work full-time. We don't mind sharing a room or two (if necessary) and we are looking to move in by the end of this month (January). We enjoy wine and being social however are also very respectful of personal space
Andy Female 48 Hi There. I'm looking to share with another like minded flatmate. I have two jobs and am tidy, reliable and like to make my home, my sanctuary. I'm healthy and fit and like to cook and eat "healthy" meals. I have a little baggage - my sweet, little cat, whom I would never consider leaving behind. She is quiet, doesn't scratch furniture and loves a pat. I have a small car, so off street parking would be a bonus, but not essential.
