Hey guys, recently got a transfer with work to Newcastle and will be moving within the next month. I work in retail so my shifts can vary from day-night, but I still love to make time for myself and socialising, going out for a drink or just chilling at home with friends and a wine :) I'm from England originally and have lived in Tamworth NSW for almost 7 years. Love meeting new people and making new friends, I'm a fairly outgoing and fun person and definitely love having a drink or two. Ideally looking for a place I can move into fairly quickly (furnished is a preference but not set in stone), with some laid back, friendly housemates like myself. Thanks guys and hope to hear from you soon!
Hello! We are a couple in our mid-twenties from Sydney who will be moving to Newcastle/Hunter Region. I am studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science in Sydney and work part-time, will be transferring to the University of Newcastle, Callaghan campus. My partner currently works full-time, and enjoys the outdoors, but likes his down time as well. We are quiet people, neat and tidy, we won't mind sharing the house chores or having a chat :). Our preferred accommodation would be in a flat or house sharing with 1 or 2 others preferably in a quiet household, a 1 bedroom granny flat, unit or the like.
Hi! I'm a full time Bio-med student and work part time as a waitress. I'm an easy going individual looking for some like minded people to potentially live with! I'm a clean and sociable person who enjoys having a chat. I'm not a huge drinker/partier but don't mind enjoying a few on weekends, I love heading to the beach and gym around my semi-hectic uni/work schedule.
I'm a 4th year medical student new to Newcastle looking for somewhere to live during the remainder of the semester. I'm originally from Sydney but I've lived in sharehouses in Armidale for the past 3years and I was recently living in Sweden for 6months. I am on placement at the John Hunter Hospital and generally spend most of the day there throughout the week. I'm very active and I go to the gym regularly. I also play volleyball and football (soccer) socially. I am easy-going and fairly neat. I tend to keep myself especially with studying but I'm always keen to get around a bit of banter, sport and trashy reality TV shows.
I'm Gibs, an international student, working par-time. Looking for a place to live, having a nice atmosphere and standard facilities where i can have my own space as well as a place for social mingling. Thanks
My name is Adam, 28 and full time worker as a carpenter. I’d say I’m great to live with because I’m a tidy person (not OCD or anything) I’m never home much as I work full time, train 4-5 days a week and also study part time and am respectful of others space. But when I am home I don’t mind checking out a new Netflix series, or few casual drinks on the weekend. I’m a pretty chilled easy going person, no pets, don’t smoke and no children. Look forward to hearing from you 😊✌🏼
Hey guys I am looking for a new place to live from basically anytime soon, but do not need to rush out urgently. Bit about me... from Germany but moved around quite a bit, since half a year living in Newy. I am doing my PhD at the UoN, so am called a student but not really feeling like one - apart from being poor ;) thereofe i would prefer not living in a student accom as i basically work fulltime. Non-smoker, easy going, pretty tidy, love to head to the gym or lie around and and tan. Would love to live with not too many people who are easy going and up for a chat or drink sometimes. Love to be around people but also need me-time and just chill in my room with netflix. Hit me up if you feel like we could get along and you got a room to rent :)
I'm tidy, friendly and always pay rent on time.
Hi there, Nice to meet you. I have created this ad to see if we can find a suitable place for us via flatmates.com.au before going down the real estate rental option. Lucie and I are looking for a spacious clean and quiet place to call home, long term. We would prefer to share with only one other person, own bathroom would be great too. I work full-time on the Central Coast, while Lucie studies part-time in Sydney and works casual jobs in Newcastle. We are both very friendly and respectful people. We always clean up after ourselves, make little noise, not big party animals but don't mind a few beverages, more outdoorsy people! We need to be as close as possible to a train station. If your place is not within walking distance to a train station, from WIckham Interchange to Fassifern; it is not a possible option for us, sorry. Please feel free to message us. Cheers
We are a very easy going couple. We are quiet, non smokers and non drinkers who mainly keep to ourselves so to give you your own space but also do like the odd chats. We love staying active and healthy ( gym, yoga, beach etc). We both work part time and I also study. We are very clean, respectful, friendly and easy to live with.
I feel I am quite a nice person, I am usually quiet, however I do enjoy a drink or six on the weekend. I am really interested in making friends, it is terribly lonely living by yourself. I work full time and generally head to dance class most afternoons. I like a tidy uncluttered house, but can deal with a small mess for a short period of time. I have a 4 year old cat named James- Baxter, she is litter trained, however spends most of her time outside exploring, she does like to come in for a cuddle at night. She is the most friendly cat - stranger danger isn't much of a thing for her.
Hi, I’m Jeff and working as a chef in Newcastle. I’m very tidy, clean, easy going and respectful to people’s surroundings and hoping I can find a place with people who have the same mindset. Julia is pretty similar. We are both social, but her being a student, she can be in uni a lot. Cheers!
Hi all, I'm looking for somewhere to live around merewether or cookes hill, Newcastle. I used to live in merewether a year ago and I'm keen to return! I currently work in hospitality, I'm a clean, friendly and sociable housemate. im looking for a room to rent, but would be open to teaming up with some fellow house hunters ☺️
Hi! I’m Josh and I work full-time for the University of Newcastle in Student Communications. I’m exceptionally clean and tidy, and have spent most of my share-house life living with women and/or queer folk in general, so I tend to function at my best and most comfortable in a feminine environment (feminist home is a must). It’s aaaaaaall about respect. Looking for like-minded new friends who value both socialising and space Spare time is spent boxing, doing yoga, enjoying culture in Newcastle and caring for my two indoor guinea pigs (secure cage, cleaned twice weekly). They’d need a safe corner in a spare room, sunroom or just anywhere out of the way. I also come with a lot of plants, and most household furnishings. Ideally looking to team-up, but I can sell or store my stuff if necessary. If you’re down with this, drop me a message!
I am currently looking to move out of home and preferably closer to in town as that is where i work as a mechanic. I keep fit by attending the gym almost every afternoon. I have always been known to be more mature than most others of similar age. I also work most Saturdays.
House is getting demolished in 3 weeks! Time to find domestic bliss with a new crew. Hospitality worker so i do unusual hours every now and again. that said, I cook, I clean and i live relatively quietly for most of the week... looking for some absolute units to induct me into, or create another super-tight and friendly household Thanks
We both work in the care sector and study within similar fields. We are both clean and tidy people and are generally in bed at an early hour. We're both social people and are easy to get along with, we enjoy an active and adventurous lifestyle.
Im a 21 year old female moving to Newcastle for work in a couple of weeks and looking for somewhere to live, I am very social but I also stick to myself quite a lot too and am respectful of people’s privacy (and noise levels of course). I’ll be working from Monday-Friday office hours. I’m very easy to get along with and love to have a laugh and a cheeky glass of wine (or beer), don’t hesitate to message me ☺️
Very easy going. Busy working part-time and studying at UON. Third year studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours. Like to go out for dinner, have a drink and socialise on the weekends. Also like some down time and personal space. Extremely respectful, neat and tidy. I enjoy going for walks and hikes, working out at the gym, health and fitness, spiritual person (don't mind a bit of yoga and meditation every now and then), cooking (vegetarian and vegan), reading, and enjoy doing art in my down time. Live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle but also like to indulge now and then. Would love to meet some like minded people who I can potentially become great friends with! Much prefer a community and friendly home rather then a share house! Currently living on the Central Coast and looking to move closer to uni for the next few years and for a nice change. Unfortunately unable to move out until the start of August as I am having a surgery at the beginning of July and will need to be at home to recover for the month before I am able to move out.
We are very clean and tidy to live with and enjoy cooking. We live a healthy & fairly quiet lifestyle. We’ll be saving to move abroad so will be focusing on work and spending time with family. We are a hospitality working couple living in the Aussie Snowy Mountains at present and have spent some time living in Newcastle. We love going to the beach & eating yummy food. We’re excited to meet more lovely Newie people!
I am currently finishing my degree and working part time so when I am home I need to be able to study but I also like making new friends, cooking, getting outdoors and socialising. I am really easy going and enjoy having a wine and chat. I lived in many share houses over the years so I am very mindful of other people's space. In saying that I would prefer to share with someone like minded.
Hi, my names Tom, I'm currently studying Bachelor of Music at the Con in Newcastle. I play bass so it's not too loud and won't disturb any potential housemates too much. I'm outgoing, I like to make friends and will never say no to having a drink after a long week. Feel free to send me a message if you reckon I'd like your place.
I am Jackson from Zambia. I will be in Australia in January 2019 to attend my masters program for two years at the Newcastle University. I am sober minded and married with no kids. I am looking for a place for myself and probably in few months after being in Australia, my wife will join me. I look forward to any linkages on a place that is not very far from Newcastle University.
My names Amy, I’m 21 and work casually, although full time hours, in Wallsend. I like to spend my time at the gym, watching Netflix or I’ll be catching up with my family. I am tidy, clean and respectable. Easy to get along and fun to have around. I am more than open to have a chat but also respect others privacy. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
ABOUT ME: I'm Emily :) I'm currently working full-time & studying Land Conservation & Management, so am interested in the environment and enjoy being outdoors. Other things that interest me: mountain biking, self-improvement, slacklining, Netflix (documentaries & dinner, anyone?), gym, live music... SHARE DETAILS: I like to think i'm a fairly easy-going and respectful housemate. I'm independent, but enjoy hanging out with cool company too! My ideals are the surrounding Hamilton/Tighes Hill/Islington areas, but am also happy for other Newcastle-ish suburbs. I am also super flexible with length of stay. If you've got a place in mind, let me know!
Laid back emergency doctor. Moving back to the city after living in Alice Springs for a year. Love to cook, garden, go fishing, have a beer. Dry humour I'm a homo if that matters. Looking for laid back people to watch netflix with, have beers in the pool, and cook family dinners.
Easy going young dude from Port Macquarie, looking for some quality people to get a nice place with! Working in sales full time through the day with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Definitely not a slob, do enjoy my own time and space to myself but very keen to entertain guests as well and meet a quality new social group! Don't mind living with either gender but don't really care to buy into any drama. Enjoy good music, snapping photos, salsa dancing and food... Will rarely turn down a beer either! Work out near Toronto in a display home but unfortunately we all can't just live there! :( but I don't mind the drive to work for the sake of a really nice place close enough to the Action of Newcastle! Keen??
I enjoy being on the go and being adventurous. I enjoy keeping active, the beach, yoga, good coffee, good conversation, wine, live music and music of any kind and I enjoy being creative. I love having fun but also enjoy down time.
I’m a 28 yr old, full time accountant still studying commerce at uni. I have a beautiful 1 Yr old dog Bonnie that I absolutely adore. We love heading down to the dog beach on the weekend and curling up watching tv at night. I’m not one for partying but don’t mind the odd drink at home with a few friends. I’m a pretty good cook but don’t get a great deal of time for it. Looking for some like minded people to start a share house with, so let me know if this sounds like you!
I’m 21 year old from Newcastle, my current lease runs out in a week and a half so I’m looking for 1 or 2 others to move in with. I’ve been in Newcastle for a long time so if you’re new to the city, I can definitely help you find your way around and show you some cool spots. I’m super tidy (little bit OCD)! I work full time doing civil construction so I work 5 days a week and have weekends off. I surf most days and go to the gym every other day so I’m not at the house much haha! BTW, I’m suuuuuper easy going and I love meeting new people and socialising.
Greg (24) and Rhiannon (22), looking for a room together in Newy. Looking for somewhere for 4 months minimum but are open to extending that if the right place comes up! We both work full time mon-fri and tend to chill during the week, then go out for drinks/sports/activities on the weekend. Looking for somewhere fun and sociable but not a party house. Ready to move now or any time over the next couple of weeks. If we fit the bill get in touch!
