Leading a relatively quiet life as I am fully focused on my studies and business plans. Enjoys water cooler chats, making meals to share, catching a flick or few, reading, long walks and a bit of yoga. Also likes sewing and building as balance to all the computing virtual world stuff. Seeking a reasonably priced, large room where I can study and sew. Sharing with other friendly mature individuals who enjoy each others company.
Hey there, I’m a 22 year old Kiwi who moved over from NZ beginning of this year! Im currently doing my masters at UNSW and am looking for a new shared flat to move into. I am flexible with move in dates and I’m a pretty easy going, friendly flat mate, who likes to bake as well! Keen to find some friendly people to move in with who keen to hang out and have a couple of drinks with!
I am very easy going. House trained and have lived out of home for 10 years. I like to keep a tidy and clean house. I own my business (restaurant in Bondi) and work a lot so not usually around at night. ' Looking for a place to call home.. until I can arrange my own place. Looking for a 6-12 month stay.
I'm pretty relaxed, easy to get along with and have been house sharing for years so its not a new concept. I work full time in fashion, I'm very social on weekends and very quiet and excercise orientated mid-week. I don't want to live in a party house. Looking for somewhere quiet, clean and with natural light, preferably walking distance to the beach.
My name is Alejandro and I'm a student from Switzerland who will be doing an exchange semester in Sydney for 4 months. I'm currently studying Business Administration. In my free time I like to hang out and do sports such as playing football, tennis and judo. I currently live in a shared flat in Switzerland so I know what it is like to live with other flatmates (male and female). But since I grew up with 3 other siblings, I also know what it is like to live within a family. I am open to living with families or with other students or regularly employed people. Feel free to message me! :)
Hi, I am Kevin from France. Well I can say I like (love) cheese and wine, it probably makes me great to live with :D. Otherwise, I am clean, a good cook, and easy going. I like culture and art, (photography is one my hobbies), but I also like to do sport (surfing, running, and boxing as soon as I find a club). Just moved to Sydney after living/travelling for two years in Indonesia and further afield in SEA. I am a graduate of hospitality management and hope to use my experience to work in this field in Sydney. As I havn't lived in a big city for last two years, I am looking forward to discover the life style that Sydney can offer.
My name is Francisca I’m 29 , I come from Chile to do my second year of W&H visa by myself, so probably would spend most of my day working. My first language is spanish and i speak fluent english. On my first year I lived for 8 months in Sydney ( Bondi ) and then I went to Airliebeach and Cairns, I shared bedrooms in each place so I’m used to that but also would go for a private one in a shared house, for me is important to live in an environment that is respectful and clean. I’m an industrial/graphic designer, I love music, cooking, movies, outdoors, going out dancing with friends and sharing a drink. I consider myself as an extrovert, energetic and open person. I would like to live with people from other countries, so I can learn more about other cultures and share with them.
Hi, I’m an international student from Germany, study Marketing & Communication for the next 2 years, work in hospitality and still look for a nice place to live in Sydney. I am very tidy, respectful, responsible and sociable, love having a chat and coffee or glass of wine with my flatmates but also having my privacy in my room for reading, relaxing, studying. Besides my work and studies, I love traveling, doing sports (Yoga, hiking, cycling, swimming), meeting friends for a coffee or dinner&wine and going to the beach, markets and movies.
I work quietly from home on the computer during the day and dance the night away 3 or 4 or 5 nights a week :) When I'm not working or dancing I love to get to the beach, I love to swim laps in the ocean baths and take walks in the beautiful national parks in and around Sydney. Some of my other interests are Sailing, Music (I'm a frustrated musician) I love anything to do with the water so snorkeling, kayaking, etc etc are all things I love to do. I'm 55 and a nanny but very young at heart, very active, love to have fun and enjoy a good laugh. I love all things Latin and have a passion for Latin music and dance. I'm well traveled, particularly loved backpacking solo recently through Latin America - Chili - Argentina - Bolivia - Peru - Colombia and Cuba for 3 months and I enjoy the company of people from all over the world. Ideally my flatmate would be someone who's not too serious or a complete recluse as it'd be nice to have the occasional coffee or a vino and a chat from time to time. I do enjoy the company of younger people or anyone with an upbeat and friendly personality. I'm really looking for a place where we can feel happy, relaxed, free to be ourselves and somewhere that really feels like home as opposed to just "renting a room". Male or Female, young or old, it doesn't matter to me, I'm gregarious, open minded, non judgemental, and just seem to naturally get on with everyone. It's all about feeling relaxed and comfortable, having a great vibe at home and being socially aware, sensitive to and respectful of each others need for privacy and down time. I'm not full blown OCD but I do like to keep the place neat and tidy and clean and I don't cope well with clutter or things being left lying around for days on end. I leave the place clean and tidy after I've used things and I particularly like to leave the bathroom, living area and especially the kitchen clean and would like to team up with someone who does the same. I have all the lovely furniture needed to create a lovely living environment currently in storage so if you're looking to start a new flat/house share or if you've just started one, I come complete with furniture, the only thing you would need would be your own bed. Alternatively, I'm just as happy to keep my things in storage and share a furnished or semi furnished place in the right place with the right person at the right price :) As I work from home, (Stockmarket Sector) ideally you'd go out to work during the day and I'd have the place to work quietly from home during the day Mon - Fri. A party house with people coming and going during the day just won't work for me as I do like the peace and quiet during the day to work. Having said that... I'm out most nights dancing so you'd mostly have the place to yourself in the evenings to relax and enjoy when you get home from work. I often take trips away to visit my family on the mid north coast or over in Perth for a week or two at a time so there would be plenty of opportunities for you to have the place to yourself for a week or two from time to time as well. Weekends I like to get out and about as much as possible especially when the weather is gorgeous outside. If it's wet, cold or miserable outside, that's netflix and vino time!!! I'm really looking for a place in the Eastern Suburbs that is close to the CBD, the Ferries and not too far from the foxtell studios, the beach and or ocean baths suitable for swimming laps but I'm open to other beachy suburbs that are not too far away i.e. From Manly to Coogee . I'm hoping to find a generously proportioned, comfortable and Sunny 2 apartment with a study, sun room or a third smaller bedroom to share with one other person only. Ideally the apartment would have a north facing aspect that will be warm in the winter and cool in the summer, a separate bath tub, balcony or outside area and off street parking and or garage, all desirable but not essential. If this all this sounds like something that would be a good fit for you I'd love to hear from you.
Hey ☺️ I'm Aideen from Ireland - just moved to Sydney on the working holiday visa after a few months travelling South East Asia. I love to discover new cultures and languages (trying to become fluent in French & Spanish), dancing, hiking, climbing and generally getting the most out of life. As a flatmate I'm easy-going, down for activities but also respectful of other people's space. I love to cook and usually like to share meals during the week if other people are up for it! 🐨🐨
Laid back Canadian/English girls who like to laugh. We are clean, friendly and considerate. Living in Australia for 2 years, plan to stay long term. In need of 2 private rooms. Both work 40 hours a week and spend our free time relaxing or go out. Love to meet new people and explore on weekends. Any of our friends will tell you we love hip hop, wine, art, good films and food :)
- Laid back - GSOH - Respectful - Tidy (in common use areas, at least) - Sociable - Financially responsible I'm a sporty (soccer, surfing, gym), ambitious guy. I'm moving to Sydney from Perth for work, hopefully permanently. Not exactly picky about where I want to live, however I need to be within reasonable distance of public transport options to get to Surry Hills and within riding/jogging distance of a good surfing beach. Looking for a room with a double bed or larger!
Your regular artsy veggo gal trying to make it in the big city. Studying journalism and procrastinating by cooking big pots of food that I'll need help finishing, and probably take photos of you on film. The house will probably end up filled with houseplants and some funky framed prints from friends, and there will always be good coffee brewing on the stovetop :)
Hi, I am Allis, 23 y/o and I am from Germany. After completing my studies in Germany and Mexico, I am now starting a new adventure in Sydney. I am young, adventurous and like to be among people. I lived already in several shared flats and we always had a lot of fun together, but we also respected one’s privacy. I am looking forward to getting to know the culture and the Australian life. See you soon, Allis
I’m a 27yo working in social media strategy and content production at a uni. I like my space clean and tidy and I have good sleeping hours so no loud, late nights! Love the beach, animals and random chats about culture, science and sustainability, conservation and also love outdoor adventures. I’m really easygoing and friendly, don’t mind keeping to myself or being social depending on what my flat mate prefers. I’m after a private room, unfurnished. Get in touch!
