I work within the health and fitness industry at Australian Sports Nutrition. When I'm not at work I spend my time at the gym! Would love to team up with individuals with similar interests :)
I'm a relatively new person to Melbourne as I hail from WA originally. I've got a part time job with Coles to at least have money coming through the door, but ultimately I would like to start my career in IT as I've graduated from uni - back in WA - not too long ago and want to see something come out for it. I'm a very friendly guy, and believe that making a house a sanctuary is important for our health. Speaking of which I'm very dedicated to, going to the gym and eating right, I don't smoke, social drinker and I'm very open about mental health. I am a bit of a night owl but I understand fully well how important it is to have silence in the night to sleep. I am looking for a large room to fit a double bed, bedside tables, computer station, and preferrable BIR. Looking for a room that has both heating and cooling facilities available
Hey guys! I originally from from Adelaide but im moving to Melbourne to study in early Feb. I'm looking for a great bunch of people to set up with when I arrive. I'm a pretty relaxed guy and spend most of my time at uni, reading and catching up with mates for a few drinks. I'm keen to team up with an awesome group to create new sharehouse with plenty of laughs, great chats and dinners! I've lived out of home before so I'm pretty handy around the house and can be relied on. Message me if you're keen for a chat!
I'm pretty tidy! I'm quiet and nice. Very friendly and fun... I'm very open and diverse and get along with others very well. I'm hilarious! I'm very respectful of others space! I am very new to Melbourne (coming from the States) but I am open to most areas...as long as there is close access to a tram/train/easy transport. I'd prefer a place with access to wifi. Willing to get this on my own (for everyone to use) if not available. Prefer furnished because it's easier. Message me please! I'm available now!
Hey, My name is Jarrod and I'm 25. I'm originally a country boy, but have lived in Geelong for the past 8 years. I've just scored a part time job working at the Oz Open Tennis and am looking for a full time job up in Melbourne as well as finishing off my degree this year. I'm a fun loving type of person, love me some good banter, yet I'm pretty chill most of the time at home. I'm clean and respectful as I've lived in share houses since I was 20 and I pull my weight in the cleaning department and always have my rent and bills paid on time. I'm an active type of person, a regular at the gym and hoping to join a sport when I get up to Melbourne. I do love to socialise with my houseys, and I'm always up for a good brunch/cafe/bar/wine, so pretty keen to check out the local spots in Melbourne. I'm looking to moved up middle of January as my lease is ending around that time - hope to meet my new housemates soon! :)
I'm a young outgoing professional and recent University graduate who will be moving to Victoria (from WA) to pursue a graduate position in the financial services industry. I will be working full time so ideally, I'm interested in living with other young professional types. I'm very clean, respectful and very easy going. I'm ideally looking to start paying rent for somewhere soon, although I won't be moving in until early Feb. Thanks
We're a young professional couple with two dogs. We're looking for someone who's interested in saving money or getting debt free to help us do the same and the long term team/friendship that comes with it. We have good taste in music, food and people, but I guess everyone thinks that they do... We moved to Melbourne in October and want to team up to get a nice place as close to the city as possible for the best price possible - with a yard for the dogs (Tell him he's dreamin'). Steve: A Canadian Engineer working in Southbank and master of the meme, Steve's pretty stereotypical Canada in a lot of ways. He's an outdoorsman and fly-fisherman that does engineering as a necessity to fund his addiction to chasing fish. Also an aspiring ninja that hasn't reconciled the fact that his luminary childhood dreams of world domination will most likely never come to fruition. Sometimes prone to write SJW stuff online. Mic: Mic is an Australian that works in retail management for a national chocolatier. She's keen on live music, animals (her Facebook feed is literally about 75% raccoons, dogs and otters), a major foodie and Beatles fan. If you don't understand or empathise with the plight of women in the modern world, swipe left - or whatever you do on Flatmates... Mana and Mocha: Mana is a 4 year old brindle staffy X who has mastered the art of the guilt trip. Having easily the most expressive dog's face you'll ever see, she likes to lounge around or run around or do anything fun really. Her favourite place to be is snuggled with someone - or the park, or... y'know what? She just likes to be Mana, wherever that is. She does fart a bit, though. Mocha is a 4 year old tan kelpie with OCD. Whilst waiting for her food or begging for yours, she can be easily fooled into chasing a ball instead, which can then be used to your advantage to eat in peace or get her to go outside, etc. She's a snuggle magnet with a turkey neck. Great for winters in front of Netflix, but sometimes she gives you this really judgmental look, like "What are you doing with your life? Stop watching Mad Men and go outside for a bit." *Disclaimer* Not to be political, but we're left leaning tolerant people that don't subscribe to bullshit norms and get pissed off by cruelty to animals, which means that you can complain to us about your problems and get support to chase your dreams, but we won't clean up your shit or entertain revisionist bullshit that puts Tony Abbott on a pedestal. Hate isn't welcome in our lives. If you don't genuinely like dogs, it won't work - guaranteed. Oh, and Sunday morning is for homemade pancakes. It's a ritual. Sometimes I'll make crepes instead of pancakes, but it's usually pancakes with homemade mascarpone and some sort of fruit or chocolate sauce we've made. I can always make more to feed the house.
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female/s, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need slightly larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
Hi I'm Tom I am clean and tidy. Helpful around the house and a general pleasure to live with :). I am full - time employed and when not working, I like to play sport, go to the gym and play video games. The House Looking for fully furnished room with a desk ideally, around $200 - 250, inclusive of bills and internet. Only really looking to live 1-2 other people.
Hey team So I've been living the dream over in Canada for the past two years. Doing a bunch of cool things like skiing, horse riding, travelling around, drinking etc etc. I'm studying Youth Work full time next year at RMIT so looking for somewhere to rest my head every night. I will most likely be working as well cause I'll need to afford life. I haven't got a job yet- but I'm not worried About that just yet- I'm a decent waitress so the right job will probably present itself. I'm 25 (26 in Jan 😫) I've been waitressing, travelling and ski instructing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative and chill vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I'm actually from Coffs Harbour and not looking at moving down until January some time (pretty flexi) but thought I'd get the word out and see if something might present itself. I will fly back down early/mid Jan to have a look at places and meet people if that suits as well. I have references as well if my blurb didn't satisfy you at all!!! Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee

I'm from Canada, and I work in hospitality so my hours are a bit strange. I'm very easy-going and open to pretty much everything... Honestly I love having netflix binge nights just as much as I love going out for drinks! I also can't seem to find the words to describe myself so I'm sorry!!
Hi Everyone, I am from melbourne and currently working full time in the CBD area. I need to find a new place that is closer to my current job and will be looking for flatmates to share a place with that enjoy being positive, having a chat and enjoy everyday life. I am neat and tidy person who will always clean up, be supportive of my flatmates and cook in my spare time. I am pretty social, easy going and respectful of everyone and enjoy going new places with friends for a drink or even a road trip. I like pets, going to gym when I can and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, please send me a message if your interested!
My name is Becca, I’m 27, I’m from Tassie originally but been in Melbourne since Feb last year :) I work a few different jobs: I’m an artist (mostly musician but do a bunch of other kinds of arts too). I’m a self-employed voice coach, teaching technique for singing & speech (but mostly singing). I work about 2 days a week at Mork Chocolate Brewhouse in North Melbourne (from which I bring home tasty treats sometimes!) but am also currently applying for more/new jobs. I also model for life drawing classes and sometimes do other random odd jobs here & there. I’m looking for a home, not just a house; I am a busy person who does my own thing a lot and has a lot of projects I’m working on, so I’m not wanting to live out of each other’s pockets, but I also want to have a place where we hang a bit in the communal areas in the evenings and chat about our days or talk shit, cook & eat together now and then, hang out in the sun on good days and have a beer. In my current house there isn’t much of a good shared lounge area and everyone just kind of lives in their rooms all the time and I am craving a little bit more of a casual family vibe. I don’t smoke, I’ve never been late on rent or bills, I like to be energy usage conscious though not anally-so, I like to try to be good to the environment. I’m great at cleaning and I’m house-proud; I am happiest when my place is looking clean and beautiful, I like indoor plants, sunshine, fresh air, and putting up art :) I’m often singing but I’m told I’m good at it, I like to put on loud music and dance around the house when I’m home alone or if someone wants to dance with, but am also very capable of quieting the fuck down when people need to sleep/concentrate. I’m silly, playful, and affectionate, but also a proper grown up. Ideally I’m looking for a place which has a sunroom/study/spare room/office where I would be able to set up my desk & teach my voice students from. I teach about 3 days a week, 5 hours maximum, finishing by 8pm at the latest (a lot of the time a lot less/earlier). Totally keen to make said teaching room also a shared art room and useable by anyone else at times when I’m not teaching! Or happy to pay a little extra rent for the use of the extra room. I've put $280 per week as max budget but I am really hoping to get a lot less than that. I'm currently paying $200/week. Around $240 would be the highest I'm really hoping to go.
A full time uni student attending RMIT Fashion school in Brunswick, preferably looking for something long term (6 months - 1 year). I am a laid back and easy going guy with loads of experience living in share houses. I have decent social skills and will comfortably get along with almost everyone. Do like to go out from time to time but not huge on partying, much rather prefer a civilized drink at a pub. Very clean and well kept when it comes to sharing a kitchen and toilet. I respect the privacy of other housemates and expect the same in return :) Move in date would be the start of February 2017.
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Hi. I'm Holly and I am a single part time student and full time worker...so you can see I am extremely busy..and usually tired..hehe.. but I love to be tidy and clean anyway. I am looking for a place where I can have my own space (private room) to sleep and study (when Im not at work), but I am also friendly and easygoing. Thanks:)
My name is Caitie, I'm 24, originally from Adelaide but have spent two years living in London and the past year living in Melbourne. I work full time in South Melbourne, so I'm pretty melow on weeknights, but enjoy socialising and being out and about on weekends. :)
British Permanent Resident looking for person/people to start a flat share with from January. I work in residential education and will be at work upto three nights per week. When I am home, I am looking for flatmates who want to share house dinner or trips to the pub. I am looking for this to be a Home as opposed to being a place groups of people live. I like to keep a clean house, but am more then happy with the lived in vibe. For a potential flatmate, I am not bothered about Gender, Race, Age, Relationship Status etc as long as we get along, you are happy to pay half the rent and be on the tenancy then I think there will be no issues. I am looking for anywhere in the Northern Suburbs and am quite happy to wait for the right house.
I am going to be a student at Melbourne University, looking to share a house with friendly and open minded people. I am not loud or rowdy, and enjoy a good book more than a party. A good conversation with people is what I enjoy the most though, normally over a good gin and tonic! I do love my cats, and I love playing violin (which I won't play in the house, I promise) and am also a vegan, but I am more than happy to live with anyone (although I will bake you tasty vegan treats)!
I'm looking to secure an arrangement WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I'm an American student attending San Francisco State University. My partner will be studying abroad at Uni Melbourne and I've come across a great opportunity to go with her. We'll need to move into a place at the end of January / beginning of February. I would describe us as studious and low key, though we do make sure we're getting out and having fun. I'm majoring in technical and professional writing and would continue my studies during my stay in Melbourne (fortunately all my classes are online). I also plan to work part-time during my stay. My partner will be busy with her studies at the university. We're in a hurry to find a place IMMEDIATELY to move into at the end of January/beginning of February!
Hello! I'm Daisy... I'm currently doing masters research in botany/bio-cultural knowledge, I'm working, living, loving, rock climbing etc etc... looking for a longish term home so I can finish research. Ideally a social home however, with the space to also be quiet and productive. I'm hoping to live with other active/creative people. Daisy d.
Hi! I'm Maylee from the Philippines. I have been working in a fashion retail company for more than two years back home and now have decided to pursue my masters here at RMIT. I am easy to live with as I am organize and clean with my things. If I will not be busy for school, I can be a fun food, party, sports, and travel buddy. Hit me up!
Hi! I'll be moving to Melbourne from Perth early 2017 to study post grad Screen and Cultural Studies at Melbourne Uni. I would ideally like to be close to uni/public transport. I'm looking for a social house, where we can share wine/watch Netflix, whilst respecting each others quiet time. I enjoy cooking and baking if you'd like to share meals, I'm a veg but don't mind meat eaters. I love my AFL, yoga, can speak German, will probably be singing around the house and am relaxed and easy going. Pets would be great, as I have to leave my gorgeous dog behind. So please get in touch if you have a room opening up in Jan/Feb. Thanks :)
Hi all, I'm 20 years old and a full-time student at RMIT (Brunswick) and study Fashion Merchandising. I love my course but I also love catching local gigs and having a cheeky cider with friends on weekends! I am tidy person who always cleans up after herself and always pays her bills on time (because why make drama?!). I am very friendly and am always up for a chat but also respect that personal space is a must. I moved to Melbourne in 2016 and so am always out exploring and seeing what else this amazing city has to offer.
Hey there! My name is Jess! I am wanting to relocate to Melbourne for a new job that I am starting in late March 2017 and looking at moving a week or two before hand around the 10th of March. Just putting the feelers out there to see what's available. I will be working full time shift work as a Nurse and so I am interested in living with others who are of a similar age (mid twenties or older) who are respectful of each other's space and privacy and appreciate a more down to earth and chill living environment (no party houses please). Ideally, I am looking to live near by to work in Parkville/neighboring suburbs, or on a tram line to help me get to work. I am an easy going person who has experience living in a share house before. Not a neat freak, but appreciate keeping things tidy, and I am respectful of other people's privacy and space. However, I also enjoy living with others who enjoy sharing a meal/coffee/glass of wine and a flick together. As I'm relocating to Melbourne, I don't know many people as of yet; and so a friendly housemate/s who is happy to be social together every now and then would be grand. Please feel free to message if interested! Can provide references if required.
I'm great with people, just wait til you meet me, I can talk to anyone and I'm mad fun to hang with. But I'll also leave you alone haha. Pretty open minded and chill, I'm bi and refuse to live w homophobes or racists and I'm a writer and a singer studying BA at Monash :)
Howdy, I am a 24-year-old gal named Thanh (pronounced 'tarn'). I work part-time in hospitality and the other part of my time is spent doing voluntary work with children who come up with the most amazing story ideas. I love to read and write and while I do enjoy my alone time, I am definitely up for hanging out and having a chat! Other things I currently like to do is finding sourdough bread on sale at Woolworths, singing off-key to modern pop masterpieces such as What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction, and trying to learn new languages using Duolingo (I am 1% fluent in Italian by the way)(score). I would love a place where I can wind down at the end of the day. I'm quite easygoing, tidy, and respectful - yeah, you know, the usual adjectives. If I sound like a potential roommate, then *finger guns* you know what to do.
My name is Leigh, male, and I'm a spritely 36 years old (not crusty and 36). I've been sharehousing since my early twenties so I'm well and truly house broken. I like to thing I'm pretty easy to live with, I do my share of housework, clean up after myself and have no time for drama. At the moment I'm working in a call centre full time while I try and land a job in clinical research; my usual 9 to 5. And no, I don't wear a lab coat or experiment on animals... any more. I keep it pretty low key during the week but on the weekend love going down to the pub for a beer, catching some live music, scuba diving and wakeboarding (once I get my board sent over from Perth). Ideally I'm looking to live with people who are like minded in a lively area. Thanks for reading! P.S. Sorry about the photo, it's the most recent one of me I could find, I just happen to be pulling a face.
I am a brewer who loves music, photography and art. A bit of a film geek and binger of tv seasons but also enjoy getting outdoors and pretending to exercise. I'm tidy, clean and respectful of others. I'm quiet and like to keep to myself a lot of the time but also like to hang out and have a drink, share a meal or go out and socialise. I have a pet rabbit who lives inside with me in his own cage area. He is friendly , house trained, quiet and doesn't party too much. Thanks Matt
Hi my name is Naomi I'm 27 and looking to move out of the family home. I'm a full time worker in the city and looking to move closer to cut down some travel time. Not only that but meeting new people and start a new adventure. I love meeting new people, music dancing, fitness, going away on holidays and going out every now and again on a fun night. I do like my quiet time every now and again. Looking to be in a house of like minded people. Im a non smoker, I'm a tidy person and would like a new start.
We are both happy, friendly people and easy going We just come back from a wonderful 4 month holiday and are excited to come back and live close to the city. We are not party people, but like to have the occasional drink. We are excited to meet new people
I'm studying film/tv production this year and next year. I work for a videographer, i film feature films, weddings and more. I play guitar, and read books mostly on philosophy and psychology. I'm very disciplined to my passions and habits, but also spontaneous; I love an adventure and trying new and scary things. My worst fear in life is to miss opportunities, and I'm constantly meeting new and interesting people. (P.S. my move date is 15th of Dec but it's flexible, must be before January, and rent must be $100-$200 per week nothing more)
I'm a mid-twenties post-graduate student looking for a place closer to work. I'm looking for a place where I can hang out with housemates, but also have space to do my own work when necessary. I'm generally easy-going, and I want a place which isn't a party place, though occasional parties are definitely recommended!
Hello hello! I am from Canada and Ivan is from France! We are laid back, easy-going people who are looking to meet other interesting and fun people! We are neat and respectful of the space we live in. Looking to really enjoy the next two months in Melbourne while we work and save before we leave for Thailand at the end of January :) We are not just looking to work and sleep, we want to enjoy this time! We like to share good drinks, good food and good laughs with those around us. We like having big meals with everyone and sharing around food! We want to share with those that we live with and we are excited to find a new place to make our home! All the best, Maggie and Ivan
I'm an international student who will start a master degree in February 2017. I'm a person clean, tidy and I respect the others. I enjoy to share a meal or a chat. I like music and cooking.
Heya, I'm a self employed, author, entrepreneur, Chinese medicine guy and yoga enthusiast, originally from Brisbane. I'm into natural medicine, yoga, chilling out, reading books, drinking coffee, wine, running an online biz, dancing, kung fu, nature, music and laughing. I have no pets, no children, no wife, no girlfriend, no car and no B.S. :) What's wrong with this guy, you ask? I've been travelling around the globe and running my business online for the past 2 years and now I've got the vibe to settle down to focus more on my work and get back into teaching yoga. Melbourne seems like a great place to do that. I've been described as easy going, intelligent and friendly... I mainly cook vego, however I also eat meat. I always pay bills and rent on time. I love dogs. Cats are cool too, yet prefer dogs. Because I'm mainly a writer, I work from home most of the time. So I'm after a big bedroom or an office space where I can work from a good desk. Good internet, a quiet neighbourhood and access to public transport is a must. During the days I tend to stay in and work, however at night and on the weekends I tend to go out to yoga/kung fu classes and generally get more social. I have no furniture... as yet. So furnished would be helpful. Prefer to live in a warm, friendly, house with people in their late 20's or 30's who are interested in health, the arts, entrepreneurship and/or eco-friendly lifestyles. Sound good? Get in touch!
Hey! My name is Chloë Bond and if you can fight the urge to mention James Bond in any conversation we ever have, we should get along well! But seriously, I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Psychological Science at La Trobe Uni in my 2nd year ar Bundoora so Northern suburbs would be ideal. I've lived out of home, paying my way, since I was 15 so am housetrained and pay everything on time. I pride myself on keeping communal areas of the house tidy. My current lease ends in Jan but would prefer to move earlier. I rent with three others and we're all going our separate ways. I'm 20 and ride a motorbike and am fully independent, but I also enjoy company and going on spontaneous adventures! I have the most beautiful cat named Frank and 2 outside Bunnies, Charlie & Lola so a pet friendly house is definitely a must! My ideal rent pcm would be no more than $500 so if you reckon we can work something out, feel free to message me!
Hi! My name is Erin and I'm a Canadian who travelled around the world, and came to Australia to begin my career (environment based) - meaning I'm pretty independent but capable of carrying a conversation, easy going, and career focused. I am a social drinker but not a partier. I'm more into: cooking healthy (and vegetarian) foods, practicing yoga (I'm also a yoga instructor and reiki master - willing to experiment new ideas with people!), watching documentaries, reading, and exploring (usually in a cost effective way). My personal space may be a mess, however I always keep common areas clean. I also have no problem being nice and tidying up after someone as long as there is a mutual understanding. At the moment, I have contract work until the end of March, and unfortunately I'm not sure where the next job will be. If it's in Melbourne, I'd love to extend my stay with you if everything is going well ;) I do well with: positive, open minded, and holistic thinkers who love diversity and discussing philosophy. I don't do well with people who: dwell, always have the tv on and a phone in their hand, and tend to offload on anyone nearby. P.S. my dream room would have hardwood floors, but I 100% require enough space to practice yoga in my room I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers!
Hi, I'm a student doing masters and also working casually. I spend a couple of nights a week playing sports but also study a lot. I'm really social, friendly and easy-going just don't eat my food or I'll get hangry ;) I'm looking for a room in a 2 bedroom unit/flat/apartment. But I'd move into a bigger house with the right people. I need somewhere ASAP as I only just found out I have to move out before December 20.
We are a bunch of creative girls from New South Wales looking to settle in Melbourne! Sarah and Hen are continuing their studies with part-time work, and Laura has full-time work. We have all been renting in Sydney for the last few years, and saving up to move to Melbourne to get into our art, music and creative writing!
I am a chilled, easy going and friendly female. I enjoy coffee, wine, reading, snowboarding, cooking and just hanging out listening to music. I am sociable but also am happy being on my own. I am tidy and respectful of other peoples property and wishes.
Looking to create a new share or join an existing share with other positive, balanced, responsible flatmates who can cook a little, garden a little, are clean and dont take themselves too seriously. Cashed up as I work five days a week and also have a scholarship which funds my postgrad studies. Enjoy living in a decent home environment where everyone has their own lives and interests, and sharing an occasional meal together. This time around I'd like to live with people who are interested in creating a home environment and who also have a community outside of the home. I want to live somewhere with people who have their act together and expect a pleasant home environment together with mutual respect. After a larger unfurnished bedroom for QS Bed, plus a desk OR to bring furnishings into the living spaces if creating a NEW SHARE. Fridge washer microwave etc- most of the basics. Alternatively could look at storage if joining an existing share. Cat owner so after a place with an enclosed yard, not in a busy street and would prefer some room to grow us all veggies or at least a few potted herbs. Both myself and The Furry One would need a long term standard lease agreement. Bond and references available. Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North, Northcote, Ivanhoe East, Elwood, Elsternwick, Bentleigh, Brighton, Hampton preferably, but within about 20mins of the CBD.
Hey! Me and my friend, Brad, are looking for a couple of spare rooms around Melbourne and the inner suburbs. We're both really easy going and hoping to find some like-minded housemates to enjoy the summer months in Melbourne with! We're always keen to discover new places to have a drink/feed/live-music-listen and love meeting new people. We also respect our housemates space and keep things tidy - we lived together for a couple of years at Uni (as well as in Brisbane more recently) so we understand the importance of housemate compatibility. It's impossible to sum up two people in one paragraph so just drop us a message if you want to know anymore! Alex & Brad
Hello potential roomie! My name is Irina and I'm from New York :) I graduated from uni last year and have been hopping around Asia for the past year. Now I'm on my way to Aus for a working holiday. I'm very chill, friendly, and (sometimes) funny. I'm not a big drinker, but I love going out and being social... I'm into music festivals, healthy food, hiking, being in nature, yoga (I'm a qualified yoga teacher so we could do lots of yoga if you're keen!), and good vibes for obvious reasons. I'd like to have roommates that are up for exploring Melbourne and everything that it has to offer!
I keep to myself most of the time, and I'm very quiet. I like to keep my socialising time and my study time very separate. This makes me get along with other dedicated students very well. I'm pretty open too. There's probably no degree of weirdness I'd be uncomfortable with. So long as I can maintain my grades and have fun I'm happy.
We are two girls from Seattle in Melbourne for a year. We are open minded and friendly! We aren't big partiers but we do love having a beer or two with our roommates. We love music and movies and learning about other people. We're pretty tidy but not super meat freaks.
I am a quiet, tidy and throughly non-conflict person and I always get along with basically anyone. Although I'm not a native English speaker, I recently received my English certificate on level C2, so my English is basically fluent :) I love traveling, drawing and computer games.
Hi, I am a young (puerile???) at heart guitarist recently left a long career in London to explore the new and have some adventures in Australia while avoiding the English winter! I Like the arts, food, coffee, hanging out, yoga/keeping fit and of course I'm totally up for getting to know the Melbourne music scene. I might have left London but music is for life! Plus whatever may rear it's head... I'm a home owner, so completely housetrained and comfortable in most situations and can fit with all kinds of people. Most of my family live here and I'm currently staying with my sister in Coburg and I'm here 'till the end of April...
I'm James, 19 and just finished my first year of uni at Latrobe were I lived on campus there am now looking for a more permanent place to stay. I tend to spend most of my time playing video games along with interests in board and card games, I don't mind going out occasionally or having a few every now and then but am looking for something quite and relaxed. I am very happy to help out with any chores and cleaning.
*NOT CURRENTLY LOOKING* Hi, I'm Brittany. I have a black cat called Loki, and I'm mad about Marvel. My hobbies include costuming and leather craft, and I often travel around Australia for Comic con. I work on the Spirit of Tasmania and can be away for up to 2 weeks at a time. I am happy to put Loki in a cattery while I'm away, but would also appreciate a flatmate that would gladly look after her during shorter trips. I like a balance of social and "me" time, but I'm always down for a glass of wine or a beer, and cooking and sharing a meal every so often. You will have the flat to yourself pretty much every Sunday and Wednesday night as my idea of a good time is to go to my friend's house and play board games! Look forward to meeting you!
Hey! I'm Beth, 34, I've been living in London for 12 years but have returned to Australia to retrain, so going to UniMelbs. I'm not fastidious about cleaning, as I'm easy going. But I do like living in a nice place so I'm tidy. I've been share housing for years now (as London is ridiculously expensive). I'm nice. I'm a hopeless cook: but I try. I'm fairly quiet as I am studying all week and work part-time on the weekend. Please do not contact me if your room is outside my budget.
Hey there, I'm a legal consultant and Arts/Law student but I'm an adventurer at heart. I love to explore the city's laneways, events, and local art at theatre, gigs, and galleries. Since I'm active with my career and hobbies, my home is my sanctuary. I'll usually sit back with a book, write, play or listen to music, practice yoga, and keep my space looking pretty. I'm always up for a chat and love to meet new people. Also I absolutely adore animals and nature, so I don't mind if my flatmates have pets. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
Hi, My name is Shayna, a Chinese PhD student in Monash Parkville campus. I'm looking for a bedroom (furnished is the best) to move in around Feb 18 (I know its a bit early). I have a scholarship so have a reliable income. I'm quite and tidy, enjoying watching show or go travelling at spare time. I like cooking. I basically gonna stay at uni from 9am to 8pm. I'd like to find a tidy and quite bedroom (can fit in a queen size bed). I have some small appliance like fan, heater, kettle, pots and a lots of bowls . My budget is less than 1050 a month (inc bills). Please contact me if you think I'm OK. :D
I'm a native Tasmanian studying music at the Conservatorium of Melbourne. Having previously lived at a residential college, I understand the value in keeping communal spaces tidy, and catering to many people's collective needs. I'm a good vegetarian cook, but have no qualms about sharing a kitchen with meat and am perfectly happy to share a meal, as more often than not, I tend to make a feast! I'm a (mostly) quiet housemate, and am used to fitting my practice around other people's schedules, when few are at home. I love a chat in the evening, or the weekend over a good board game and a drink! I hope to hear from you :)
