Hey! I'm looking to share a nice house with one or two others. I'm pretty easygoing and clean, and responsible with bills and everything. I'm a case manager for young people and work 9-5. Sometimes I need quiet time after work and sometimes a need a chat and a glass of wine or two! I like to sit and have dinner with housemates if we're home at the same time. I'm vegan (don't worry, I won't preach at you) and I have two cats (they are not vegan). I go to the gym and barre a few times a week and usually go out on Friday or Saturday night. I have a solid rental history and have shared heaps before. Happy to pay extra for a bigger wardrobe or ensuite. Also I have all furniture and appliances and everything to establish a house, including a new fridge and washer. This would be ideal: 52 Sutherland Street Brunswick Vic 3056 http://www.realestate.com.au/property-townhouse-vic-brunswick-421379162
Hello! After living with a group of great friends in Rosanna for a few years, it's time for a change (aka they're moving back in with the 'rents so they can save for a house deposit #millenialcurse). The silver lining here is that I'm taking this opportunity to move closer to work! I work at Melbourne Uni full-time, and will also be studying there part-time next semester. I have a Masters degree in Literature, so will come with a solid (if not eclectic) collection of books and can provide hours of conversation if books/film/tv is your thing. I love gin, makeup, eating food that I don't have to cook, and buying different editions of books I already own because the cover art is pretty. I love my current living situation, so would be keen on replicating that as closely as possible. That means becoming fast friends with my potential housemates (that's you!) and being able to come home to a group of people that I adore. We share food staples (milk, eggs, flour, sugar, etc, etc) and cleaning products, but everything else we keep separate. I think this system works a treat, so ideally my new housemates would agree. I'm looking for 3-4 housemates around my age, who work full-time, and who are as friendly as I am but who also understand the need for quiet/Netflix time every now and again. I love to socialise and hang with friends, but rarely bring the party back to my place, so your sleep is almost guaranteed to be uninterrupted. Having said that my goodness I flipping love house parties so would be totally fine if you wanted to host one on the odd occasion. I've also gotten used to the glorious invention that is a dishwasher, so would be keen on a relatively new place that has schmick, modern ammenities. I'm all for gender balance too! Having grown up in a house full of women, living with men is a genuine novelty for me. If the stars align, our new household will have 2 lovely ladies and two gentlemen occupying it. I'm a cis woman, but I'm also LGBTQI+ friendly (I hope I got the acronym right). I'm not opposed to sharing with a couple, as long as I have another single buddy to keep the balance. For fun I take pole dancing lessons, go to the movies, spend time with friends, and have performed in the odd amateur musical from time to time. You can expect sweet shower-renditions of showtunes if I'm feeling brave. I don't have very much house stuff beyond the furniture in my current bedroom, and I'm keen to avoid having to buy anything, so ideally one or more of my future housies will be able to provide luxury items like a washing machine and a fridge. My current lease is up in early November, so I'd be keen on having a place locked in by mid-late October. Anywhere in/close to Parkville would be amazing - I'm determined to find somewhere walking-distance to work so I can ditch my monthly Myki fee! If any of this sounds appealing to you, get in touch! I'm so excited to welcome a new bunch of awesome people into my life and hope you feel likewise after reading this very long explanation of who I am. Speak soon!
Hi I'm Aston. Exchange student from the UK studying engineering at the university of Melbourne. I am funny, easy going, responsible and looking for a place to call home for a year. Lived in share-houses for the past 2 years in the UK so I am very used to having shared spaces and keeping a clean and tidy home. I like to keep active in my free time playing a number of sports including ultimate frisbee, soccer, rugby and I also enjoy going to the gym. Also really enjoy cooking and travelling. Hoping to travel around the continent in the summer and hopefully see some of Asia too.
Hey I'm Jess, I'm 22, I've just moved here from Brisbane and working full-time in Carlton. I'm clean, very laid back and enjoy a beer or wine most weekends however I am respectful of noise and others privacy. Besides work I like to paint, cook, make music and explore the city.
Hi there! I'm Pia, I study Industrial Design Engineering, and I'm doing a study abroad year at RMIT starting this July, so I really want to find a great place that can be my home for the entire year. I'm Norwegian, 25 years old and I really enjoy traveling, cooking, festivals, glow sticks, dogs and anything including wine! I'm a positive and social person and I love stuff like going out dancing, but I also enjoy those lazy Sundays just binging crappy shows on Netflix. I've lived in share houses before and really enjoyed this as it's so social, I'm also tidy and I bake a mean cheesecake. I'd prefer to live with a group of people, but if you're only one person and really awesome then of course I'll consider you! Please let me know if there's anything else you want to know about me! xx Pia
A little about myself: I am 27yrs old, from the US. I have always, in my adult life, lived with roommates in a house share, so living with you won't be an adjustment at all for me. I love being around others and enjoying dinner or a random glass of wine with roommates. I am a pretty quiet and easy going person with some clean freak tendencies, so I'm pretty easy to live with. I am excited to live with locals and explore a new city. I plan on studying and working as much as my Visa allows me to, so paying bills will not be a problem at all. The past few years, after completing my undergrad I have been traveling which is what lead me to studying a Masters of International Relations. I enjoy yoga, the occasional run, hiking and pretty much anything outside. If there is anything more you would like to know about me, please don't hesitate to ask! I know coming to visit the house and meeting you is ideal but at the moment I am still in the states. I am willing to skype/imessage/whatsapp at your convenience to allow you to get to know me better. I look forward to hearing from you! Brittany Denter
Hi, this is Eddie from Taiwan. I'm 27yrs old engineer works in IT and as a freelance translator. I'm easygoing and tidy, always down for a bit of banter. I'll be studying in melb later on this year, currently looking for a place to stay from the 4th of June up to three months stay. If u still have a private room/single studio apartment, a parking spot(street parking is fine) available, please let me know and hopefully we can organize a viewing soon. Cheers! And no couples, thx!
I'm Sam, 27 years young and a Taurus. I work full time in Marketing at Crown for Food & Beverage which I love, I also have another part time gig I do on odd weekends, catering and bartending for weddings in Docklands. I love anything creative, I'm a graphic designer and huge movie buff. I can contribute a excellent vinyl collection, and I have a 2 year old kitty named Oscar
I'm tidy, I'm quiet, I clean up after myself and you also get the pleasure of having my beautiful kitty cat Rocky stay with us! Rocky is a sweet kitty and he is litter trained so there will be no "accidents" in the house. I am a hairdresser so you can get the pleasure of a hairstylist in the house if you're in desperate need of a haircut or colour. (I don't do it for free but you get pretty cheap rates!)
Hi! I'm Lucy, a science PhD student from Melbourne. I'm looking for somewhere close to the University of Melbourne to call home. I'm genuinely pretty quiet and my PhD keeps me busy, although I am sometimes prone to stress baking. I'm always happy to chat with housemates, and when I need my space I try to keep to my room. My move date is flexible at this point, so if our times don't align we can talk it through.
Hey guys, I'm a fairly easy-going 22 year old. I've just finished my undergrad degree at Melb Uni and am going into masters in about a month. I work 3-4 nights a week at The Retreat Hotel (corner of Sydney/Glenlyon Rd.) Looking for a place with a few like minded people who are always happy to socialize together but still know how to do their own thing. Keen to move ASAP so give us a yell
I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my beautiful fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, cooking and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move in about a months time (start of August). If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
Hi there, I'm Lukas! I am 31 years old & would be looking to move into a new place on my own by next month or So. I am very organised and respectful of other's time and space but have no issue chilling out either with flatmates & friends. I am a professional dance teacher by trade, I work 4-5 nights a week, the occasional weekends and day gigs. I mostly work in my own dance business in house and travel around Melbourne and some times interstate or internationally for various events and dance schools for work. I would be keen to check out the space if available. Thanks!
Hello, My name is Silvia. I'm 30 years old. I'm from Peru :). I'm studying an English course. I lived in a share house before in Italy. I'm a clean and tidy person. I like to cook and I'm pretty good on it or at least it is what my friends told me hehe. I'm vegetarian but if you not it's not a problem ;). I love animals so if you have some pets at home is NOT a problem! :) quite the opposite :) :). I’m an easy going person, no smoker, I like to do a bit of sport and try to have a healthy lifestyle. Feel free to message me if my profile suits you.
Hi, My name is Oliver Muller, I am a pretty relaxed and social person, I have lived in many share houses before and always get along with housemates. I am considerate and tidy. I work full time, and will often be out on weekends.
Hi my girlfriend Aude and I are looking for an appartment to stay for about half a year. Aude is French and I am Dutch, I am doing my final internship at an event management company while looking for a part time job to do on the side. Aude just finished her degree and is now looking to start her professional career. We are both very open, social and clean people with a healthy lifestyle. Having just arrived in Melbourne we are looking to explore all the nooks and crannies of this amazing place.
Looking for long term stay. Easy going, respectful and friendly. Prefer a clean space to live in and will contribute. Lived in Melbourne, northern suburbs, my entire life. 6 years in share house's. Looking for work at the moment, receiving government payment, very conscious with paying rent and bills on time. I hope to be employed asap. Spend my time studying online, playing computer games, and visiting family. Occasionally ride my motorbike so a garage would be a bonus. Looking for a social household that also respects time to themselves. Pet friendly. Social drinker. Non smoker.
I'm Michael, 25 year-old, full-time comms hack, and I'm oh so happy to be back in Melbourne after three and a half years living that wild public servant lifestyle in Canberra. I'm all of the cliches that you're tired of reading on here; relaxed yet tidy, respectful but always up for a chat, fun to hang out with, no prior criminal convictions etc. I've come from a really great share house, and while it would be unfair of me to place those expectations on my next one, I'm after a similar kind of situation (think occasional shared meals, drinks on the weekend and a lot of chat about how great we'd be on Goggle Box). A real Melbourne boy at heart so I'm into music, sport, travelling, the usual social things, cooking and rolling my eyes when inspectors get on the tram. If you think I'd be a good fit for you and yours, send me a message :)
Hi my name is Donna and my is partner Chris and we are looking for a new home ( long or short term). We both work full time ( fairly long days) at a coffee company ( so always brining coffee home 😉) We are not party animals and enjoy our own space and time but always happy for a wine and a chat, so definitely not the type that will get in your way. We are both from northern NSW/QLD boarder and moved to Melbourne 2yrs ago. But looking for a different way to live for a change from our own apartment.
I'm a fairly easy going and easy to get along with guy, love socializing and meeting new people as well as spending quality time with old mates. Cooking, playing video games, piano and singing are some of my favorite things to do in my free time. I work as a cook and study professional and creative writing at Deakin Uni in Burwood, so that occupies most of my average week. I don't spend a lot of time home and when I am home I usually retreat into my room for some me time, but am always up for a chat and some drinks if the company's good :) If you reckon we'd get along and you'd like to meet and discuss a free room, I'd be more than happy to organize something, just shoot me a message and we'll go from there!
