Hi Guys, My name is Chloe, I'm 26 from London. I lived between Melbourne and Sydney for two years in 2013 - 2015 and have decided to come back for a years working holiday with the possibility of permanently relocating. I will be arriving on the 30th December (right in time for a good NYE party!) and am looking for a place to stay either in Melbourne CBD, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Richmond or Port Melbourne. I would consider other areas but they are my preference purely because I am familiar with those areas. My Partner from the UK will potentially be joining me around February time (not 100% confirmed yet) but for the first few months at least I will be riding solo, so am looking for a cool bunch of people to hang out with. Im a fairly private person at home as in I like to have my own double room and bathroom however I love having a housemate who is up for shared dinners and a glass of wine every now and again. I love cooking, cinema, meals out, yoga, travelling, a night out on the town occasionally and love love love weekend brunching. Ideally would like to live in a house with no more than 2 other house mates :) Please message me if you have a suitable room available or would like to buddy up
Hey guys! I'm looking to share a place with an awesome, easygoing person not too far from the city and uni. I'm currently doing my Masters degree in Physiotherapy at Melbourne Uni, as well as part time work to make sure I pay the bills on time! In my down time, I enjoy binging shows on Netflix, making the most of our kitchen, and keeping fit and healthy.
I am Danica (mid 30s) old VCA PhD student from Europe. I am kind of a weird mix of intro- and extrovert—like to hang out and to meet new people, but need frequent alone-time moments. Enjoy music, specially old school deep house and techno, and disco. Like to talk about food, to cook and share meal, and enjoy good spirits. Come with a Boston shaker and crepes pan. Probably the most important quality for flatmates is to be open-minded and considerate. I like to live in clean and tidy space (especially kitchen and bathroom), but I am far from being obsessive, so I don't expect others to be any different :)
We are 3 friends from Dublin, Ireland that have made the leap to come down under with our working holiday visas. At home we all held good positions as an engineer, head technician and support worker and we are currently seeking similar roles here in Melbourne. Collectively we're environmentally conscious, take pride in any place we call home and are inviting and respectful to others. Between us we enjoy yoga, movie nights, cross fit & trying to immerse ourselves into other cultures. We are ideally looking for a furnished house to call home while in Melbourne, however, we would also welcome the idea of living in a house-share should 3 rooms become available for us. Thanks for reading :)
A 21yr old easy to please and easy to get along with girl. Very social, but also enjoys Netflix in bed. Can cook a pretty impressive meal.. even when the contents of the fridge/cupboard are pretty low. My old housemates can defiantly vouch for me. Works in hospitality as a Barista. Loves an espresso martini, the beach, family, friends, movies and binge watching any TV show. I come with my own furniture, hula hoops, Netflix and succulent plants. Looking for like minded people in a relaxed and humble environment. Cheers Maisey Canning x
I'm a teacher and also studying a postgrad in Counselling. I love reading, wine and sunglasses. I love a social house with mature people, I'm not looking to simply rent a room, I'm hoping to rent a home. I like coexisting beside people, wether that means we cook together and chat and hang out, or simply sitting on the same couch on our computers in silence grunting at the same Netflix binge. I have 12 years of share house experience, ranging from 8 people to only 2. I once even tried to live by myself, and that is the only experience that hasn't been a positive one! I'm fairly confideent in my co-habitating abilities.
Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam
I'm an student/part-time worker looking for adventure. I come from a small city/large town on an island called Victoria. Not Victoria, Australia but Victoria, Canada. I clean up after myself, I wash my own dishes, hell I'll even vacuum and clean the washrooms if I have time because I kinda like doing that stuff. I'm looking to room for at least 4 months in Melbourne. I have 6ish years restaurant experience at 3 different places, and all the stupid drunk stories I can't remember until I get drunk and remember said stupid stories. Cheers, heres to good times.
Hey there, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Alaska and currently work full time at a restaurant in Collingwood. I consider myself to be very respectful of others and my housemates, chill, sociable, and well house trained. I'm also fully capable of paying rent on time. I like a wide range of music, making attempts at cooking dishes outside of my skill level, and going out for drinks on the occasional evening and weekends. Generally looking to live with others who are social and like to chill together, either often you just occasionally. I can move in any time! I'm preferably looking for something longterm, but am open to subletting if it's for 3+ months. Also would prefer the room to be furnished. No share rooms please! Feel free to message me with any other questions! Cheers, Trever
Heyaaaa! I am 22 years old working full time 9:00am - 5:00pm as a Legal Assistant in the CBD! I am looking to move out of home and closer to the CBD for work. I have been employed at the same company for close to 5 years! I enjoy my time to myself but do like to socliaise on weekends - during the week I am usually quiet and keep to myself. I'm a 19 year old Filipino girl, born and raised In New Zealand. I will be moving to Melbourne in 2018 to start my pre-professional/finishing year at Melbourne City Ballet. From 9-5 Monday to Friday on Saturday mornings I'll be at the studio training. I moved to Sydney in 2016 to start full-time ballet training and have been flatting for just less than 2 years. My friends and flatmates would say I'm a kind, easy-going person to live with and always pay rent on time. I'm respectful and often told I'm mature for my age. I have a quiet personality so definitely not a party person but I enjoy hanging out and sharing a meal or drink with my flatmate/s. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, watching movies/shows and love all forms of art especially music, fashion/makeup and dance.
I consider myself as easy-going, respectful and friendly person. I have fulltime job in childcare. Experience living with lots of people from different countries. Love swimming, skiing, tennis, chatting with social drink and good food, fashion and baking Happy to share food when we have time

Hi future house/flatmate, My name is Charlene, I'm 25 and a french argentinean girl from Valencia, Spain. As you can see, I love travel around and discover new places. I'm new to Melbourne from about one week now, and desperate to find somewhere to live in this beautiful city. I'm an animal lover, respectful, open to people, social, independent but who likes to chat and go out with friends. I studied Audiovisual Communication and Advertising, I love to know new cultures and people, make videos and watch movies, and sure Netflix. Moreover, I would like to find my place working in this country. Many thanks for your interest in me! :)
Hey! I'm a 24yo queer (AMAB nonbinary, they/them) vegetarian web developer from Perth. I've been running my own software consultancy business for 4 years so I have no trouble paying the rent and bills. I like DJing (synthwave and tech house); making music and art with code; and love a good jam. I'm professional, easy-going, and very conscious of people's space. At the same time I'm outgoing and fun to be around at a party. Because of my job, I'd like to live in a decent sized room anywhere in the few pockets of Melbourne that have NBN which is close to public transport. Bonus points if the house occasionally hosts social gatherings. Unfortunately fibre NBN is a must. (I've listed myself as a smoker, but rarely smoke at home) Send me a message if you think I'd gel with you and your housemates. I'm looking for a place after I get back from Japan around February 2018. Thanks!
Hi! I'm a full-time student studying Landscape Architecture at RMIT. I hosted on Airbnb with 4.6 rating and was living in a shared accommodation for 2 years. Sharing accommodation is something I always do therefore I am highly trained to be a housemate. I always kept my place pristine and well decorated. I'm a plant and garden enthusiast so I'll make an excellent housemate especially for you green-thumbers. During a semester I spent my time mostly working on my assignments. Enjoy drinks and chat. I am a non-smoker but would smoke occasionally in a social setting (420 friendly). Last but not least I f-ing love pets (especially dogs)!
I'm creative, busy, independent and social. I work full-time making porcelain earrings for a living which I sell at markets. I also work in marketing and sales for a small ceramic homewares company. I am tidy and considerate of personal space. Looking for a place to rest in when I'm not working or out socialising. In my spare time I take contemporary dance classes and see live dance shows. I also love arthouse and mainstream cinema. Im allergic to scented candles and most washing detergent.
Two regular, house trained ex-sydneysiders who are looking for a house to call a home with some house-trained peoples who don't just want lodgers to pay the bills but want to hang and share a beer/tea/noodles :) Hi! I'm Lauren (30), originally from Sydney but moved a few months ago. Now Ivan (29) has moved down too and we’re looking for somewhere to move back in together because we figured it would be nice to be reunited…. But with other people for when we get sick of each other. We’re fairly fresh to Melbourne so we’d love to find a place with people who will like to hang occasionally. I like to cook and sew and read and craft. And eat. A lot. And drink wine. I guarantee I will probably overcook regularly and you will probably benefit from it. I tried to yoga for a while, and then I injured myself. I have big ideas about starting some other sports/hobbies but so far they're still in ideas stage.... Now for me...Ivan...this paragraph is dedicated to me. I am not as useful as Lauren. But I know a lot about sport particularly football/soccer. I also do sporting things - I used to play football, but now am injured, and am transitioning to rock climbing, swimming and yoga.... slowly. I also have in the past been convinced to go on bush walks. I follow current affairs as well and watch and talk about tv shows/movies. And I'm into hanging out; going for a meal, coffee or wine. We both work full-time, 9 to 5'ers and go out a bit during the week to catch up with friends so we won't be hanging around like bad smells 24/7. We’d like to find a place with someone(s) who is tidy and respectful but also likes to be sociable (with us!).
I am working full time as an environmental consultant and love to keep myself busy by keeping active and trying new things (current activities include under water rugby and yoga). On my weekend I like to go for walks as an excuse to get unhealthy food at the end, discover dessert bars and head out for cocktails which I can't probably can't afford. Working full time I am often out of the house during the week but would love to move in with other young people who enjoy the odd drink and movie night! I have lived in share houses before so understand the logistics that go into keeping them running and clean! I am low maintenance, tidy, like a clean bathroom and pay my rent on time. What more could you want?!
- Generally tidy and love decorating my space - I work school hours and will likely be out of the house a fair amount with roller derby commitments - I have a male indoor cat named Merlin, he is pretty chill and he's very friendly but not great for people with allergies - I have my own furniture from my current apartment - I am looking for a queer* friendly share house
Hey guys, I work in the renewable energy biz, teach yoga and carry out other side projects. I've lived in Melbourne for many years but it seems not long enough for my French accent to disappear! I have been sharing places for a long time too and want to be part of a house with mature peeps who are independent and yet appreciate socializing when feeling like it. My thumbs are green, I play music and like good conversations over nice dinner when the occasion is there. Brunswick is such a vibrant area so I am keen living there living with like-minded relaxed housemates (: Cheers, Fred
Hey there future housemate :-) Just a little info about me- I work in retail/hospo and study naturopathy full time. I love dancing, the beach, going to terra madre and drooling at everything and trying new food places. My friends tell me I'm a "chill introvert who has good meme taste and is tidy" if that adds to anything? I am a super tidy person, can vouch for that! I'm looking for like-minded health conscientious people to live with (preferably). I'm also looking for a clutter/carpet free and mould issue free place due to allergies! If I sound like your type of housemate shoot me a message :)
