Hi my name is Eleanor and I am moving to Melbourne to start a new job after graduating University. I have lived in Sydney for 5 years and am excited to explore a new city. I am keen to meet new people and am always up for trying new things, exploring new places and engaging in any outdoor activity. I have lived in several shared houses over the last six years and believe I am an easy going, clean and fun housemate. I enjoy having people around for Sunday afternoon BBQ's or weekend dinners, though I also enjoy having a space to rejuvenate after a day at work. I love finding new spots to enjoy a coffee or beer and am always up for a weekend hike.
Hey! I'm Lara. I'm from NZ and I've lived in Melbourne for nearly 4 years. I'm easygoing, reliable with rent and bills, and I'm looking for a place in the northern-west suburbs. I've been house sitting around Melbourne for the last few years, so am keen to settle down somewhere for at least 6 months, or even longer if it's a cool place. I love music, travelling, theatre and film, reading, and yoga. I'm vegetarian, but it's not a problem for me if you eat meat. I work full time in the city, and I'm often out in the evenings at gigs or with friends. I'm tidy and respectful, and keen to find something soon!
Hi, I'm Lennart. I'm 22 years old and half way through my masters at the University of Melbourne. I like to keep a good balance of going out and having time to myself. I'm very happy to chat and spend time with anyone. Please feel free to contact me!
Hi there! I'm Tina, 26, ostensibly a software engineer, but always trying to get away from the 9-5 grind. I just settled down in Melbourne after three years living in LA, in between which I spent 6 months traveling around the States and Europe. I’m looking to find a home with open-minded, thoughtful people where we can exchange ideas and build a creatively stimulating environment together. As a housemate, I’m super clean, respectful and chill. I was responsible for rent and bills in previous living situations, so you can be assured I’ll be on top of it! Socially, I’m the definition of an ambivert - I love hanging out with my housemates and friends and going out together, but I’m also perfectly happy chilling by myself on a quiet weeknight in. In terms of interests, my biggest passion right now is Latin and swing dance. You could say I’m obsessed! When I’m not dancing, I’ll be enjoying the outdoors, doing yoga, checking out Asian restaurants, meditating, jamming music with friends and learning new things. I recently started a YouTube channel to document my life with my friends and family around the world, feel free to ask for the link if you’d like to get a better feel for me as a person! Thanks for reading, and I look forward to speaking to you soon!😊
Down to earth dude, down for anything, making music, talking crap, taking portraits, cycling, going out to eat, staying in to eat, watching interstellar the movie, trying to figure out interstellar the movie, making friends. Looking to rent a room within a shared house, open to sharing rooms. I work corporate 9 - 5 Mon - Fri, also have 5 consecutive years of renting and house sharing experience so HMU if youre interested.
Hi, potential house/flatmates :) I am a positive, social and very active 24 Year old who is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing. Don't let the title of student deter you, I still work part-time and previously worked as a Finance Consultant before returning to study. Enough about my background as a flatmate I love Art, Music and reading combined with a cuppa but I will also binge watch Netflix. I am extremely tidy (bed made first thing everyday kinda guy) and love a clean kitchen and bathroom. I don't discriminate, I enjoy the company of all people :) but I am also content on my own for those who like privacy. Outside of the house, I'm probably out for coffee or dinner with friends, if not I'll be playing some kind of sport. I couldn't be more honest than whats written above ^ any questions please feel free to contact me and check out my social media pages. I would be interested in NRA properties also
I am a working 31 year old female :) I like to keep to myself, I am clean and quiet. I don't drink and I don't smoke. I have an predominantly outside dog who doesn't dig and comes with references from various real estates. I have always received my entire bond back. I’m looking for somewhere quiet and smoke free. I love video games, I love sport, I’m down for Netflix nights and live music whenever I can find it. I currently live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, but will be relocating to Melbourne early April.
Hi potential future housemate! I'm from Tassie but have been living in Melbourne for over three years now. Love cooking, yoga, being social, travel and the occasional gig/festival! I work in Hospo and as a beauty therapist, looking to study part-time in the not to distant future. Moving from south-east to north for a change of pace and to be closer to the city. I'm an easy going, friendly and courteous person. I'll keep to myself but also always free for a chat/wine and the likes. Thank you for reading!
I'm looking to move from Mildura to Melbourne sometime in April - the date I've listed is really just a placeholder, I'm pretty flexible with regards to when exactly in April it can be. My main passions are reading and writing, and I'm currently working on my first novel which I'm hoping to finish by the end of this year or early in the next. I'm tidy and clean up after myself. I love a laugh and a good time - I'm easy to get along with and I appreciate the value of cooperation. I'm in the midst of acquiring a transfer with Factorie and am looking to work for this year, with a goal of commencing a Master's degree next year to further my career.
21 years old, have been living in Sydney for the past two years, thinking I’ll give Melbourne a go next Reliable with rent (can get references if wanted) friendly, I’ll be studying full time and working, Will add more detail closer to move date
Tidy, cheerful, and easygoing! :)

Hey guys, I'm Sam, 22, I moved to Australia from England when I was little, I'm English by blood and Australian by heart. I'm a hard worker with my eyes set on the future, I've previously studied at university in Melbourne and currently I'm working part time, with around 4-5 shifts a week which keeps me busy. When I'm not working I love playing my guitar, exploring places I've never been and keeping my mind and my body healthy. I'm a caring person with a big heart who loves putting a smile on people's faces, I'm respectful of others feelings and needs and keep myself and surroundings tidy.
I am the most tidy, considerate and appreciative person you will ever live with. I was born in Hawaii, lived in California, Japan, Mauritius and now Melbourne (last 7years). I am multiculturism alive. And I happen to be a future dentist so free tips anytime ;)
Hi there! My name is Suelin and I'm looking for a room for me and my partner. We're both relatively new to Melbourne, having relocated from Newcastle in pursuit of career and other opportunities, and we're looking forward to seeing what this city has to offer! Gra is 34, mature/clean/tidy and all that good stuff. Enjoys being sociable, but also enjoys his me time, and is respectful of peoples boundaries/personal space. In his free time, he's listening to music, dabbling in audio production, or playing video games (all very quietly!). I grew up in Sydney and then lived in Newcastle for most of my adult life, which I loved, but always wanted a chance to live in Melbourne. I love everything about this city! I still have so much left to explore. I will be studying nursing at La Trobe next year, and this year I'm going to focus on working, volunteering, and possibly studying online. I'm friendly, laid back, and reliable. My most important values are honesty, compassion, and respect. I'm sociable but also quiet and clean. I have a few friends here but I prefer to go out and do things outside the house, so I don't have friends over often. And I'm always open to making new friends too! I love pets, especially cats, so would welcome a place with pets. My other interests/hobbies are music, film, gaming, exploring nature, riding my bike (although I'm out of practise), science and maths, plants, playing keyboard and guitar (again, out of practise), just exploring the city, comedy shows, trivia nights, card games, and reading. We're not picky with location, but I'm hoping for a place near public transport, with friendly housemates. Either furnished or unfurnished works for us. We're currently living with friends temporarily in Preston, and would like to find something more permanent, but we are still open to temporary or short term accommodation. If you think we would be a good fit for your home, get in touch and we can answer any questions you have and hopefully organise a meetup.
I’m very easy going would love to have my roomies as my friends that I can have a kitchen coffee with or catch up a bit with a movie or a beer, but respect peoples space and won’t get weird if you want to live your life and do your own thing as I also like some alone Netflix and do nothing time. Very tidy as I’ve lived in a few share houses before (not in Melbourne) Just moved here from Perth to start at Melbourne University studying primary school teaching, very excited (start 26th Feb) and would love somewhere to live and call my own for a month as I am looking at rentals with two friends from April (so just looking on here for the month of march) Not employed right now but not so worried about jobs, want to know what area I will be living in before I go looking for work, but will be looking for casual work that fits around uni. Thanks please contact me if you have any thing!
Hi, I'm, Cameron a Full-time Masters student moving into Melbourne for the first time (I've been here before tho). Easy going, loves socializing and I think I have a pretty unique sense of humor. I have a whole lot of interests but still very open-minded. However, i do value my privacy as well. I totally believe in the live and let live philosophy, I really do not care what you do as long as it does not affect me. *Strictly looking for private room with ensuite bathroom. Would likely consider own bathroom (that is outside) depending on proximity and privacy* I like to keep fit as well so having a gym in the building or one nearby is a huge bonus. I also do not mind animals, I grew up with pets so rest assured (if you have one). Interested in Soccer and Tennis mostly but very open minded to joining in with any of your interests. Positives: - I consider myself a good person, whatever that means. - Always up for a chat, always happy to do things together as long as I get some personal space when necessary. - Flatshare experienced of around 4 years (never missed a payment) - I do not cook beyond using the microwave sometimes, cleanliness won't be an issue in common areas - Tech savy, will fix internet connections, maybe even recommend on cost lowering. - We will have a good relationship because if we do not I'll probably move out myself, I like to have a positive environment.
Hi there! Looking to move ASAP :) We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live for approximately 4 or 5 months (at least). The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently looking for work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. John usually works long days (sometimes 14 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for about 3 weeks at a time! We are looking for either a studio, 1 bed, granny flat or flat/house share - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
Hi! Im Martha, 22, from the Philippines. I'm taking my graduate studies at University of Melbourne starting this February. I don't make a lot of noise, and I'm responsible enough to keep the place clean, so you don't have to worry about me as a flatmate. I play the violin as a hobby, so there may be times that you will hear me play, but I'll make sure to keep it down, especially if you need some peace and quiet
I'm 33, just moved to Melbourne after travelling overseas for about a year. Currently work full time for a Superannuation Administrator in the city, but I'm trying to transition into writing and visual media this year. Easy going, clean, happy to be alive, Looking for a place reasonably close to the city with some nice flatmates. Trying to save so I would prefer something under $200 per week.
Hey, I'm Will and thanks for reading this spiel. I'm an easy going single guy in the final year of my architecture master degree at RMIT. I've been living in share houses for years and am able to blend in with the existing house dynamic. Totally on board for house dinners, splitting of chores etc. and keen to meet new people but also happy to be independent if that what works best for the house. During the week I work a few days at a firm and this year will be pretty focused on study so they can be big weeks. Ideal weekends when my study doesn't take over usually consists of a bike ride or swim and catching up with everyone I missed during the week; food and drink essential. Try to stay pretty active but honestly that's a work in progress. Cheers, Will
Hey! I'm a 22yr old Kiwi girl moving to Melbourne for a 6month stint of work on a project (working standard office hours). I'm friendly, outgoing and always up for a laugh. Tidy and considerate flat mate with 4+ years of shared living experience. Love to cook, be active and meet new people.
Hi everyone! I’m moving to Melbourne in April with work and am looking for a housemate to move in with. I’m currently living in Sydney and working full time as a flight attendant. I’m super easy going and love a good chat, but definitely understand the value of down time and privacy. I love just chilling at home watching tv or cooking, but also love to go out for dinner and stuff as well. Looking for a place closer to the city, but preferably with parking because I need to drive to the airport for work. I sometimes get sent away or work odd hours but generally always come home at the end of every shift. I do have a cat who will come with me, but he’s a very well behaved and loving one! I can be in Melbourne full time from the 15th of April but if need be I will pay rent from the beginning of April. Preferrably I’m looking for a team up to start a new lease but definitely interested in other options as well! Flick me a message if you have any queries!!
I am a PhD candidate studying in New York City and I'll be doing research at University of Melbourne from now through the end of May. I'm looking for a place to live that's in a fun area but not too far from the university. To give you a little more info about me: I'm a 26 year old grad student who has lived in Manhattan for the past 5 years (so I'm very accustomed to sharing spaces). I love to cook and hike. I consider myself pretty easy going and social. I'm down to chat and have a drink, and am hoping to have a solid amount of time to explore the city and have fun, but I will probably be in the lab most of the time during my stay.
