Hi, My name is Natalie and I am 36 years youthful, but can be a grandma at times too. Looking for a long term and prefer furnished (but can be flexible) room in the Northern suburbs of the CBD and within a 15 min walk to train station. Ideally I would a like an inclusive of Rent & Utilities around the $300 mark. I am neat and tidy and will keep the place presentable, but I am not OCD or a fan of a strict cleaning routine. I am a 9-5 office worker and outside of work I try keep fit at the gym most nights and wine and dine to chilax others. Weekends are generally running around doing stuff or just socialising. I enjoy people's company and would like someone outgoing that is home a couple of nights of the week for chit chat, but there are times when peace and quiet is called for too. I am an animal lover so pets would not be a problem.
One British dude looking for a place to call home. Easy going house mate looking for a place to live whilst studying at the University of Melbourne on an exchange year from the University of Manchester (UK). Looking for a decent house, preferably in the Brunswick area with some students or young (ish) peeps. Chilled house would be ideal but would be nice to go out together on the weekends. Big coffee fan so I can make you a decent brew, into electronic music and everything else for that matter. I'm reading social anthropology so I'll be studying in the week but always up for a good chat with a cuppa (I'm British after all). I am cycling fan and a race occasionally, did some track cycling back home on the velodrome and would love to take it up again here in Melbourne. If I sound like the kind of person who would fit in in your house send me a message and hopefully we can sort something. x
I'm 25 years old from Sweden here on a working holiday visa which runs out in May next year. I love Melbourne and don't have any plans on leaving for at least six months. Currently working at a sandwich place in the CBD, so I work Monday-Friday. If I'm not working I love a night in just chilling, going shopping (love finding new op shops), I love cooking, listening to music, not shy for a few bevs over the weekend but I'm not a crazy party girl. I love to keep clean around me and I always pay my bills on time. I also respect the privacy of others but I'm always down for a chat or having a meal together with my housemates. I'm a very relaxed person but I'm always up for an adventure. I'm a smoker (unfortunately) but I will always go outside. I'm way more fun in real life, I just suck at writing these types of things haha. I currently live in St Kilda but want to relocate to explore more of Melbourne. If you want a reference from my current landlord, I'm happy to provide you with that. So if you're interested in getting to know me more, just shoot me a message!
I have recently moved to Melbourne for a full time permanent job. I am relatively quiet and easy going. I have a progressive world view. I have lived in shared accommodations previously, so I am house trained. I am also clean and tidy. I like to wash my dishes after every meal if possible. I play a bit of soccer, read and go hiking.
Hi everyone , I'm Tommy , Just moved to Melbourne after spending two years living and working/travelling in the uk and Europe. Just arrived here in august and working full time in Brunswick , looking for a room that is furnished (or at least has a bed) somewhere close to there preferably. Cheers 🤙
Hi! My name's Kristy, I'm 24 and I'm working full time in Brunswick (on Sydney Rd) and am looking for a place, ideally close to work. I would describe myself as being an "extroverted introvert", I love socialising and going out but also really enjoy my down time. I'm really into yoga and meditation, I play a bit of guitar but probably not enough for it to be annoying to my new roomies. Although I like things being clean and tidy, I'm not crazy about it and won't lose my mind over a bit of mess. I guess I'm just pretty chill and relaxed when it comes to a lot of things and think I'd be really easy to live with. But yeah, if you want to know more or think I'd be a great fit to your household, let me know :)
just finished my studies and newly qualified as a Naturopath. Into sustainable, non toxic living, organic food, yoga, meditation, peace and harmony. I do eat some meat, though not a lot. Even though my full on party days are well behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh and I like a bit of silliness just for the sake of it. Looking for a like minded and easy going person We can possibly share cooking and shopping duties but not really fussed. Would love someone I can sit around and have a natter with over a cup of tea. I share care of my 6 year old son 50/50. So would have him several nights in the week, some weekends and school holidays. I also have an 11 year old dog (kelpie x lab x ridgeback) that I would dearly love to have with me, but I understand that this may not be possible and my ex will just have to pick up the dog care duties if it isn't. But she is great, gentle company, a great guard dog and you generally wouldn't even notice she was there.
Hey there, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Alaska and am looking to settle here and work in the hospitality industry. I consider myself to be very respectful of others and my housemates, chill, sociable, and well house trained. I'm also fully capable of paying rent on time. I like a wide range of music, tea, making attempts at cooking dishes outside of my skill level, and going out for drinks on the occasional evening and weekends. Generally looking to live with others who are social and like to chill together, either often you just occasionally. I can move in any time! I'm preferably looking for something longterm, but am open to subletting if it's for 3+ months. Also would prefer the room to be furnished. No share rooms please! Feel free to message me with any other questions! Cheers, Trever
Hello, My name is Fred, french, working in Renewable Energy, studying psychology and doing other personal stuff during the week. I enjoy gardening, playing music, painting, good conversations over a nice diner and not taking things too seriously. I'm keen to move in a bright bedroom, part of a house that is well looked after. I would like to live with a cheerful and respectful crew of people who have their own things going on but equally shares good values and is keen on having a relaxed and uplifting life at home. Tidiness and cleanness are givens. Cheers for now, Fred
I have recently moved over from Adelaide and I'm looking to live in a friendly sharehouse. I'm 27 and work full time at RMIT. I'm an excellent cook and love to share food. I'm always keen to have a chat over a glass of wine or a cup of tea. I would love to live with people who are happy to hang out and share a meal and a drink every now and then. If you're interested, I'm happy to meet up and have a chat. I'll bring the wine.
Hi, my name is Natalie and I am 25 years old. I work full time as a primary school teacher in Brunswick West. I am looking for some housemates who would be willing to live with me and my pet cat, Colin! He's super friendly and you'll win him over if you play "chase the measuring tape around the house" with him for like 2 mins. (Promise!) My personality would best be described as an introvert, but I do still enjoy getting to know people and hanging out and having a chat over a cup of tea/coffee. I have lived in sharehouses since I started uni in 2011, so I know how to cook, clean, maintain personal hygiene etc.
Hi! I'm an artist, I work at a tea shop so I always bring the most delicious teas home for everyone, I'd describe myself as clean, respectful and relaxed as a housemate. I have lived in sharehousing for the last 5 years and I would be looking to live with people who are like-minded, kind and respectful. Im always reliable in regards to rent, cleaning rosters etc, and I'm in no rush for move in dates I'm very flexible and happy to work it out for what's best for everyone. I'm no party animal but I am very social, I love to go out with my friends to see shows and have a drink. Most of the time I'm keeping myself very busy with work and hobbies, I do olympic weightlifting, lots of walking and exploring the beautiful parts of our concrete jungle Melbourne. If you think I would be a good fit for your home I would love to meet you, so please get in touch :)
Hi! I'm a smoothie maker, chai drinker and yoga newbie. I'm vegetarian, love animals and always up for a chat, a night out or a good old Netflix session. I juggle between working in private health and running my own business. I've lived in sharehouses here and abroad, and did a bit of travelling last year ✈ I'd love to find a place to call home, where good vibes and zen spaces mix together✌ Looking for a place for 4-6 months, and maybe longer! Get in touch if you think we'd be a good fit!
I'm a 30 year old Canadian who is loving my time in this city (1.5 years so far) and looking to stay long term. I'm employed full time as a welder/fabricator and also work a second job thats picks up from time to time and when it does I'm flat-out so you'd probably only see me when I get home late or when I leave early. Always up on my bills and a very tidy individual, but I also enjoy my privacy now and again and would definitely respect yours. I'm from a small town in Saskatchewan and have grown up outdoors doing various Canadian type activities, so I'm pretty handy around the house and yard and would gladly take part in any handyman type stuff. When I'm not crazy busy, I ride a lot of bmx bikes around this city's amazing facilities, I like my punk/metal shows, all types of outdoor activities, recently began collecting various odd themed tattoos for reasons I'm yet to decipher, and generally just down for a good time. Always keen for a mission out or random adventures providing I'm not working. I'm a pretty funny guy (so I'm told anyway, may not be accurate), very chill, basically just your average stereotypical friendly ice hockey loving Canadian. I do smoke, and I rarely if ever drink, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying a night out with the lads. Though I'm definitely not keen to move into a party scene again, I'm bit past that these days. My current flatmate is heading back to Canada after 5 years in Melbs, and that leaves me looking for a new flat hopefully by the end of the month (bit late for me to be looking but like I said, flat-out). Hoping to make it out for some viewings in the coming weeks and would love to meet any like minded individuals! Thanks for looking, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime for a chat or a meet up :) Cheers!
We are both very easy going, tidy, positive chicks who love to be social just as much as we love to have chill nights in. We love to cook, read and listen to music. We love being creative: making crafts, jewelry and clothing. We're always keen to share a laugh, chat, meal or drinks with the other flat mates. We are both 28 year old Canadian friends who have been travelling around Aus for the past few months and have decided Melbourne is the best (of course!) and so we're ready to settle here for a while :)
Hi! My name is Mimi gilbert, and I am searching for a home/studio/room for me and my partner Taylor to move into starting around Christmas/ New Year. We are both mid-twenties. She is a kiwi, I am American, born and raised in california, and have lived between Australia, NZ, and Portland Oregon for the last 7 years. We both are very friendly, easy going, biased to say I think we make great house mates because we are clean and respectful, and v sane. While we love people and having a home that feels like a home rather than just a place to sleep, I (and I will speak for taylor here too).. we are good/have intuition at knowing when home space is good for having personal space. We look forward to living somewhere where, if there are other people around, we have the occasional hang out or dinner/movie night. But we are not needy in this way, its just nice to live with people you like to hang with when free time or free nights arise. I love music and am a full time musician (indie-folk-amongst other things). I am not a homebody, and usually spend a lot of time out in the city and outdoors. I love art, colorful things, tiny things, good films, coffee, and making and fixing things. Taylor loves art also, she is very into film and photography, she also loves the outdoors, loves people and an occasionally netflix binge (I'm guilty here too). We both love going to shows, to random events, and getting to know our city and the people in it. We have both lived in a lot of share flats, and know how it works well for us, we do our dishes, and feel like investing our time into taking care of where we live is common sense. We have been chasing visas the past 3 years and are now looking forward to calling melbourne our home for a while. Feel free to look at our instagrams, if that helps you get to know us a bit!
I'm very chill, friendly and talkative. Love to chat about everything and anything. Actor and writer by profession but to pretty much everything. Interested in most things except guns and plastic. From Estonia.
Easy going commercial property manager, Melbourne born and bred currently living in Reservoir. Enjoy playing sports, catching up with friends, gym, reading and one or two other things.
Hi there! My names Harrison (or Harry), im 23 and moving to Melbourne from Wollongong to study a post grad of IT at swinny uni! Im looking for a place to call home for at least 6 months or a year but also hoping to make some long term friends along the way! I'm a big fan of good music, movie/boardgame nights, and having a good old fashioned family banter over some drinks. Im pretty clean and tidy, and respectful of other peoples need for quiet time, but always happy for some family bonding too! Im also a vegetarian and try to be as environmentally conscious as I can be. Huge animal lover as well so totally fine to live with pets if you have any. I do have a part time job lined up at a cafe in the area already but i've got a fair bit reserved for the move if that falls through so paying bills wont be a problem for me at all. If i sound like the right fit for your new family please get in contact!
Friendly couple looking for one or two rooms in a sharehouse. Elysa is a science nerd and research assistant. Ezra is a part-timer who enjoys languages and music. We're respectful, tidy, openly communicative housemates.
