Hey, I've recently moved to the Gold Coast. Born and raised in Melbourne, and been around QLD the last 3 years for work. I'm starting as a paramedic on the 4th so want to find a place before then to get settled into. I'll be working a rotating shift work roster so will sleep some days. I think I'm easy to live with, mostly will be working, at gym, eating, at the beach or watching Netflix. I'm not a problem person or one to cause drama. I have no pets with me but am cool if you have dogs or cats. If there's anything else you want to know hit me up.
Hi there, My name is Patrik and I'm a 22 year old male. I have recently moved to the Gold Coast for work. I am looking for short-term accommodation, with the potential to go long term at the right residence. I work as a Paramedic for the Queensland Ambulance Service. So it is crucial for my roommates to understand I do shift work, and will be sleeping after night shifts. A little about me: Work keeps me busy most days of the week, however when I'm not working I enjoy going to the gym, going on hikes. I'm also interested in learning how to surf! When I'm not doing these things, I enjoy some quiet time playing some video games or watching movies.
My names Alex and I’m looking to be apart of a share house with people that share the same interests as me - I love the beach, writing, reading, socialising, meeting new people, animals as I am in the veterinary industry, and health and fitness. :)
Hi, I'm Tess! I'm originally from Canada and absolutely love the Australian, beachy lifestyle. I work 4-5 days a week at a marketing agency and when I'm not at work I am likely at the beach. I don't spend too much time at home as I'm always out exploring and finding exciting things to do. I love to cook and have a glass of wine once in a while. I'm not big on partying but don't mind a night out here and there. In terms of cleanliness: I always make sure to keep the house tidy. I always do my dishes right away and clean up after myself. I would love to live with others who are keen to hang out every now and then; go to the beach, watch movies, have a drink together. I'm flexible on stay length and move in date but would prefer to move in after New Years.
I am moving from Adelaide as a new grad physio looking for work on the Gold Coast. I am a full time athlete that trains couple of times each day so I am very organised and will be out either at training or work most of my time. I would love to live with people who enjoy living a healthy / active lifestyle :)
Hi, I'm Bree. I'm a full time speech pathologist living on the Gold Coast. I'm looking for a place to live with 1 or 2 people who would like to have me and my gorgeous dog Luna live with them. She is a Keeshond who loves people and doggies and would particularly love a doggy friend to hang out with :) I love the beach, wine and I play soccer! What I like in a housemate: consideration of others, tidiness & be keen to head down to the pub for a feed or a drink occasionally!
Hey there! My name is Crina, I'm a young 29 year old girl who has just moved up here from Sydney. For the last 3 years I've been chasing the snow in Canada and New Zealand so I'm excited to be back on sunny aussie soil! I work as a Marketing Coordinator Mon - Fri. I am very outdoorsy, I love the beach, going for hikes, I love dogs, and getting back into surfing now that i can't snowboard anymore! I like to keep things clean and tidy but I'm not OCD. I love having a wine and chat with my housemates but also respect peoples privacy. I'm looking for a house that feels like a home, where we can have a laugh together and live with fun, happy, like minded professionals :)
URGENT! My 6 year old lazy, boxer cross and I are in the search for a new home. I work Tuesday through to Saturday in Mermaid beach as a hairdresser. We're both quiet, easy going and keep to ourselves. We're also fun, love a good laugh and also enjoy sitting down with a drink to binge watch horrible Netflix tv series after a long day. Ruby (my dog) is house trained and does nothing but sleep and sun bake. She doesn't bark unless threatened, and does not dig or chew, as I said she's lazy. She's a little bit weary of smaller dogs at first, but warms up as soon as she knows it's safe, as she has been attacked. We are hoping to find a place that would be closer with work and with people who would let Ruby indoors when I am home, and be happy to have a cheeky drink or take out night every now and then.
Easy going student. Socializes with fellow house mates nut also need to study. Don't drink or smoke and am financially stable. Ive travelled the world and now time to settle down. Im single and dont have people around often. If you can help please let me know.
From America originally, graduated with a Business Marketing degree at the University of Kansas in 2015. I've been living in Australia for nearly two years, and the Gold Coast a year and a half... I am super easy going and clean. I'm almost never at the house, and only reason i'm looking for a new place to live is because I didn't feel safe at the last apartment I was in. Temporarily sleeping on a couch of an old mates until I can find something more stable.. really desperate, as well as flexible on length of stay. Whether you need someone to fill your place temporarily for a few weeks/ or months, i'll take it. My visa doest expire until September of 2018, so if things work out i'd also consider staying for a long time.
I am moving to the Gold Coast to work on the commonwealth games for 5.5 months, I am from the UK and working on the Mountain Bike event. I have a beautiful little dog Wiggle (small-medium size) who's very sweet and friendly- and totally ball obsessed! She loves other dogs and people :) I work and volunteer in the biodiversity space and am interested in anything to do with the ocean- surfing, diving, sailing plus reading, drawing, creating, listening to music, meeting new people and traveling :) I have lived in a lot of share houses in the past so understand the importance of respecting personal space and property, keeping things clean and sharing the housework load! I am Brazilian, living in Australia for 2 years, I love outdoor activities and enjoying days more than night. I like living in a clean and tidy place, not crazy for cleaning though. Hi, me and my husband are looking for a place to move in. We are very clean, quiet and easy going people. We have been living in the same place since we arrived on Gold Coast, about 1 and half year ago. We are looking for a place we can actually call home. We both are originally from Brazil, and we work together at Varsity College as cleaners every morning, from Monday to Friday, besides another casual jobs. In our free time we like to stay quiet, play games, watch movies, cooking, read or go out to the beach or eat something. We are not party people, but we like to have social dinners ocasinally, if it is ok. We do not smoke and drink only casually. We are looking to pay up to 275 per week, with bills included, for a double room with individual toilet, or up to 550 per week, with bills included, for a whole property with at least two bedroons and two toilet. Ps: Place must be furnished PS2: Looking to move in asap.
Hi! My current lease ends in early Feb but I am willing to move sooner if the right place comes along. I am looking to stay long term but it doesn't matter whether you are looking for short or long term. I have furniture, etc to fill an entire home, including your room if needed, and am looking for a place that provides you with your own bathroom/ensuite/granny flat as I host homestay/university students. It ebbs and flows - sometimes I have none and other times three, but I am financially secure either way. They mostly keep to themselves and study at night, aside from sharing a meal at dinner. I am searching for one housemate with a budget of $250+ p/w to share a four bedroom, three bathroom home up to around $750 -$850 p/w max, depending on the home. Having two cats, somebody with no pets yet a liking of animals would be ideal. I am an extroverted introvert - friendly and like to have a chat and a laugh, but also like to retreat to unwind. I am very clean, respectful of others and am looking for the same in a housemate.
