I am an easy going person with a friendly and well trained indoor cat. I am laid back, independent, respectful, honest, tidy, and easy to get along with. Always willing to lend a hand around the house wherever needed. The reason I am moving is because the owner of the current house I've lived in for two years is wanting to move back into it. I've lived with my 2 current housemates for the same amount of time and would happily give you a reference if needed for myself and my cat. I work 5 days a week and love to get outside to the beach when I have the free time. I enjoy company as well as my down time. I am not a party animal and I don't smoke but I do enjoy a drink or two on occasion. I am looking for a warm home with like minded friends (not just housemates) who are happy with communicating and having a laugh from time to time.
Just got here about two weeks ago on a working holiday visa and I'm initially looking for a place to stay for about a month. Though it could possibly be for a longer duration, I'm planning on meeting up with a friend in Adelaide. I'm a laid back guy from Sweden, turning 25 this year. I usually prefer to go out on adventures, but will not have a problem if any roommate wants to bring some people over for a party or so. Trekking, swimming and driving motorcycles are what I aim to do more of, maybe some roomie can teach me how to surf? In return I'll make you an even better swimmer! I don't have a set preference of what flatmates I want, who or what you are since I'm an open minded person and easy going. But at the moment I'm spending my days like a vaccation which means I will(yes, pay my bills on time) be home for a few extra moments and therefore best case scenario would be to live with people that share atleast some interests with me. :)
Hi my name’s Gemma, I’m 23 and I just moved to the GC about a month ago. I have been crashing at my mates and now think it’s time for me to venture off on my own and find a place to live. I’m extremely clean, I'm not 100% OCD, but close to it. I feel that it’s disrespectful not to be clean when living with other people and would like to live with like-minded people. I'm very health and fitness orientated, if I’m not at home or work, I’m at the gym. I don’t party every weekend, I don’t mind a few drinks after a long week but I’m not one to go out clubbing all the time. Most weekends I would prefer to go hiking or do something outside. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me :)
Hello everyone! I’m arriving to the Gold Coast on the 26th of Jan (yey, Australian Day!), and planning to stay there for at least 6 months (might be longer). About myself: I am 23 yo, from Barcelona and graduated in International Business and Marketing. I am coming back to Oz for my 2nd WHV - I fell in love with the country, so I had to return. I enjoy myself chilling out with friends, having a couple of beers (beer fan), and outdoors (beach&nature activities). But also sofa-blanket-movie nights. Social, but not crazy party animal. Love traveling. Easy going and respectful. Non-smoker. Pet-friendly. Looking for a house with a good vibe and great atmosphere. Willing to call it home, rather than just a house to live in. Preferably: Private room in (1) Burleigh, Mermaid or Miami. // (2) Surfers or Broadbeach Cheers!
Hi, we are a couple looking for a one or two bedroom unit/apartment/granny flat/studio to rent. We would be interested long term if well suited but otherwise open to a couple of months until we found something more long term. We both work full time and like to spend the rest of our time at the beach. We love being social but also like to chill and be pretty lowkey a lot of the time and are very particular about our tidiness! Feel free to message us at any time
Hi, I'm Kev, looking for a room in Gold coast. My only criteria would be to have a big bedroom as i need space. I'm quiet and very passionate about what i'm doing, studying and working full time. I'm also easy going, and i wouldn't mind to have great time with my flatmates. Let's me know for a visit, i'm looking to move as soon as i find something that correspond me. Have a good one! Kev
Hi Nick, how are you? My name is Marcelo, I´m looking for an apartment to share with a friend of mine. We are currently staying in Burleigh but we will have to move out in 30th of January. Thank you! Marcelo
Hi all im a brazilian student/worker looking for a new privateroom to move in. Not a party person. Will be happy to find the my place and meet my new flatmates.
I own my own business in the country (a gym) ,but am taking a change of pace in 2018 to study full time. I train for powerlifting competitions, so the lifestyle I lead supports that: healthy eating, quality rest and clear head space. I grew up with 4 brothers on a farm, so it isn't in my DNA to be a melodramatic girl. I've lived in share accommodation for a number of years (both in Sydney and overseas) and know how important it is to respect the space of all housemates, how ti clean up after myself and be a peaceful persin to live with, In saying all of this I am definitely not a recluse! I would be up for exploring funky bars every now and then with my new housemates, but totally understand if that isn't their cup of tea either! I am financially stable, so being a student is not a problem. I'm a pretty easy going person however I don't want to live with smokers, pets, party people or kids :)
I am a friendly, easy going, responsible quiet, tidy person looking for a room to rent - preferably in an apartment but town houses are also alright. I am an international student studying at Bond University, here on a student visa. Non smoker, non drinker, I'm not loud or the party type. I like to go out, and also keep to myself. Looking for an all female flat to move into.
Oh hello, I didn't see you there. Slade's the name. Now, you may be wondering what I kind of housemate I am... Well, I have never had a sip of alchohol, never done drugs. Never even been tempted. I don't watch T.V. nor movies. I am a sixteen year martial arts veteran. I have been called an 'old-soul' and I respect a firm handshake or a nod more than much else. I am not sure if much else matters but I am LGBT+ and pet friendly. I live within my means and don't care for partying. Although, I know when not to push myself too hard. I have an up front and honest attitude especially with my sense of humour. Yet deep down I am intensely serious and self driven for success. This mentality came from being born into a family of educators. That privilage instilled in me a sense to give back, so I am returning to study this year with a community services course at Southport TAFE. Anywho, I will cut myself short there to say; if that all sounds intriguing to you, I would welcome a message or two.
Brianna. 25. Nurse. Shift worker. I’ll also be doing some postgraduate study this year. I'm looking for a nice, preferably furnished room to rent in a friendly household. I'm wanting to move in with people of a similar age and hangout with my flatmates occassionally, not be living with strangers. I’m clean and conscious of others. I have a car so would need a parking space too. Please message me if you think I would fit your household :) Thanks!
I'm a 26 year old outgoing girl moving to Gold Coast from Port Douglas in Feb. I work in hospitality in bars and restaurants so I generally don't spend too much time at home but when I do I love to cook, relax and hang out with friends (or flat mates) and have a few drinks. I can make a killer margarita to come home to after a long day but I do also enjoy my own time and am super respectful of other people's space. Looking for people like minded to share a place with-I'm tidy, easy to get along with and I won't eat your food.
Hello! I am from Sydney and am making the move to the Gold Coast in April/May. I am in the middle of studying to be a Primary School Teacher and I am moving to complete my studies at University in a fresh and new environment. My favourite place to be when I have time off is at the beach! I am tidy, respectful of people and their space and am always up to make a new friend. I'd like to live with someone who is the same.

My name is Maja (pronounced Mya) and I’m a 29 year old female Physiotherapist. I’m currently in the middle of packing my life in Darwin and moving to be near the beach in Gold Coast. I love the beach lifestyle, love the cafes .. I’m very into my fitness and enjoy being adventurous outdoors. I love traveling the world and meeting new people. You’ll find me very easy to get along with , am always up for a good soulful talk and more importantly I’m a clean freak. Hi, i´m from Czech republic and i´m study here on GC. I like BBQ, beer, beach, sports ... but mostly time i´m working or studying so i´m busy and i wanna just some nice place to have a rest after school and work with nice people.
Very quiet couple that has a 14 yr old completely deaf and starting to go blind shitzhu HOLLY that needs to be with her mum and dad. She's completely toilet trained and sleeps most of her day.
I'm a 3rd year medical student training at Tweed hospital. I was previously a post-doctoral researcher from Melbourne. I'm active in sports, love photography and love both dogs and cats (I have lived with housemates with dogs). I own a motorbike and maintain it myself ( I will come in handy for basic car maintenance), so that means I need a parking space and a little storage space for tools. I was in the military for a few years, so I'm pretty good with house rules if there's any =) I'm pretty easy going and enjoy a few craft beers.
I'm a super organised, respectful and open person :) I do aerial acrobatics, love nature, having fun and making friends, and am ready to live life to the full and experience everything the Gold Coast has to offer until I move to Brisbane for uni in Jan/Feb 2019! :)
Hey guys! We are a super friendly and easy going couple looking for a room on the Gold Coast, anywhere between Mermaid and Currumbin. We are looking for a clean and peaceful place where we will feel at home and where we can relax after work. We don’t party, but we would like to be able to share a conversation, dinner or/and a drink (or two) with our roomie(s) once in a while! We would prefer a room with ensuite or own bathroom and we both have a car, so either a place with an off-street parking or a place where we can easily park on the street would be ideal. If your house is close to the water, the beach or surrounded by nature it’s a bonus as we love nature and being outdoors and if you have a dog it’s a double bonus as we looove dogs! :P We are clean, respectful, organised and easy to live with. We are both working full time, I am a graphic designer and Fabio is a restaurant manager. In our free time we enjoy having bbq’s, going to the beach, being outdoors, doing road trips or going on some sort of adventure! We are looking to pay somewhere around $200-250/week and move at the end of February, but we are open to move earlier if we find the perfect place :) If you have a place for us we would love to meet with you. Kath and Fabs
Hi there! We're a young couple moving from the United States (Ohio) to Australia in the beginning of May 2018. I (Madison) will be attending Bond University to receive my Master's in Nutrition & Dietetic Practice and plan on finding a part-time job alongside, while Cory will be working full-time as a Personal Trainer, as well as beginning his own online business relating to fitness. We are both really into health/nutrition/fitness. We also love Jesus, love to travel, explore, try new things, and eat of course. I am also really into organic/homemade beauty and cooking, so in my free time, you'll find me making cool things in the kitchen. We are both very clean, tidy, and like to be on top of things. We are looking for a place that reflects this kind of organization and flatmates that are very mature, respectful, keep busy, and live a healthy, goal-oriented lifestyle, as well. Because we are coming from across the world, we would REALLY prefer something already furnished (unless there's something we can't pass up!). We do love our time to ourselves, but we also want to be able to chat and hangout with our flatmates. We aren't partiers, but we do love our occasional wine nights. Because we are foreigners, we would prefer flatmates that have grown up in Australia or have lived there for an extended period of time so we can have some people to show us the ropes (maybe even teach us how to surf). If this sounds like you, we can't wait to hear from ya (:
