Hey I’m 17 and I just moved up here from Melbourne alone. I’ve been staying with a family in Burleigh Waters from mid January, but I’ve just been told that they’re moving to Ormeau on the 30th for work (next week) so I’m needing a room ASAP. I’ve been doing regular labour work, and I just started working at McDonalds. I’m not studying, so when I finish training (in 3 weeks) I’ll be working as many hours as possible. I’m easy to get along with, active, neat, independent, and respectful (also don’t drink/smoke). I do a lot of bike riding and that’s how I get around, so it would have to be not too far from Robina McDonalds (work). Thanks.
I've recently moved to goldy with a full-time job at CAT. I'm cheerful, easy to get along with, clean and reliable. I keep active with skydiving on most weekends, otherwise i'll be out making the most of the day. I'm searching for flat mates that are easy going with some positive vibes and don't mind a drink.
I am a mature single female looking for a new lifestyle and wanting an "unfurnished" space to call home .. I have all my own furniture and a 1 room only type studio unfortunately would not be enough space .. I am clean, honest, reliable and respectful and live a quiet life doing the normal stuff .. I'm retired now and have an interest in ceramics which will keep me busy so I'll need an area where I can work .. I can provide written and verbal references .. although the written references are from past Real Estate agents and somewhat old they will give you an indication of what sort of tennant I've been .. There are also financial commitments to be met when sharing and I'd rather that aspect run smoothly .. you will have no concerns as rent and utilities will be paid on time, everytime .. I usually pay fortnightly installments directly into the providers electricity and gas accounts .. I enjoy sharing a meal and a red wine although not into a party house but BBQs and dinner parties are great .. I'll also have family who'll pop in occassionally for visits .. I love animals so if you have a fur baby they will definitely get cuddles from me .. I look forward to hearing from you to have a further chat .. ☺
Hello! I am interested in establishing a new ‘home’ with one or two people. I work full time Monday to Friday and commute to Brisbane for work. Because of this I start early to miss the traffic and on most days work 0600-1400, which allows me to be home earlier in the arvos. I’m not a party animal but I do enjoy the odd glass of wine and occasional night out. I consider myself to be pretty easy going and would like to find someone like minded that we can live in harmony together. I enjoy doing yoga at home so a space that can accommodate this would be ideal. Good communication and respect for one another is critical. Other qualities about me that I will expect in you: *Clean *Respectful of personal property and space *Need quiet time *Reliable with paying bills/rent etc. I will be looking to move out mid Apil but I am somewhat flexible and may be able to move a little earlier. Looking forward to meeting the perfect flat mate! :)
Wanted TODAY "Everything I do matters" Drama free I enjoy my own space and respect your space If this is your priority please contact me. Not into meaningless small talk. GENUINE FRIENDLY CARING ATTITUDE IS ESSENTIAL for me. Freedom to live our own lives yet appreciate each other's differences is great value to me. In sharing we must make decisions that suit both of us not just the person offering the share or problems show up when living together. ***MY TIME, MY BODY AND MY MIND ARE THE MOST PRECIOUS POSSESSIONS.*** --- HEALTH CONSCIOUS ESSENTIAL, emotional health priority; I'm into personal development and seek to share with similar commitment to life. Share with a person dedicated to To being the best person they can be.--- Why settle for less. (TIME DOES NOT OFFER REFUNDS, WE MUST CHOOSE WISELY). It's vital I make this clear here and if you're honest, this is what you really want but don't know who you really are. If you feel the same way about these aspects of your life - then keep on reading. If not this is where you leave my page... *** Moving ASAP is essential. WHY DO I HAVE MY STORY HERE? "I've driven to people only to have them tell me how they threw out the last flatmate just after a few days. *these were people who claim they are easy to get on with, their flatmate they threw out advertised that they were easy to get on with, honest and considerate. These are non specific words and I wont use them.* Or all the other problems they have. Or having to listen to their travel stories. I cannot get back that time. Because we never got to speak about what is important, I wasted that part of my life. That person would never want to talk about what is important - that is how we learn to share as different human beings and value each other like our life depended on it. Because quality of our life depends on quality of people closest to us." +++ The only thing that matters is how you and I live together. Because for me; this is the purpose of flatmates, not a social scene. - "I can be driving around spending 10 hours minimum per week; up and down the coast meeting with people who don't read or listen. Or I can put it all here - about who I am and have this site speak for me. And save my energy, petrol and time. - "This way I find a person who really pays attention and we both get what we seek." YOUR PLACE - Between Burleigh and Broadbeach - IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING REALLY WONDERFUL, I'LL CONSIDER OTHER LOCATIONS. "If you were looking to feel at home; what would you ask for?" Needs to be a real home not a share house that's used to having many short term residents. NO HIGH TURNOVER. I seek to live in long term share ( who is working towards her own home here on GC, no short term attitude). There are many backpackers and travelers advertising and most places cater for short term. Please contact me only when you are ready to follow up today. Not just chat. Looking to move ASAP. GETTING REAL - WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW - A FRESH APPROACH - I do have my own life, therefore healthy home environment is my priority. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. "Need someone who APPRECIATES my preference to independent thinking and life with meaning and gratitude. Not blindly following status quo." Seriously not interested in driving for chit chat. You need to be ready to talk about how we'd actually share. That's where the real person shows up. "Stay away from people who erode your quality of life". toxic people make life a lot harder. We are the sum of people we spend our time with; Living together has to be a very serious decision if we are to have a happy easy going sustainable home environment. Seeking long term; a place I can call my home too. "This world is full of challenges and opportunities, two thousand years ago; full of challenges and opportunities. And I'm sure 2,000 years later, full of challenges and opportunities. It depends on how you look at it." - Jack Ma (was an English teacher now worth 24billion; founder of Alibaba, now richest man in China). BEGIN WITH HONESTY If we are really honest, we all have challenges, the problem is that people handle them badly. I have challenges and opportunities and so do you. We can focus on problems constantly or deal with everything as a package. This is who I am and would love someone who has similar attitude to life and lives it not just has an opinion. ###Out of RESPECT FOR MY TIME; please read my entire profile so I don't drive 'spending time and money' just to say what is written here. This shows that you care about the quality of housemate you really want (people are dismissive, this way we establish mutual respect which is rare). Then we can make a time to meet. I'M A LOCAL, SO NOT JUST PASSING THROUGH I'm respectable, love my own space, intelligent Gold Coast resident; seeking similar mindset with an active yet relaxed chilled lifestyle. I work long hours therefore I love my time out when I have it. We need to mindful that we actually listen to each other with meaning, not just have an opinion. So genuine home that is not into petty disruptions would be great. I love a good time in this life time, but not into wasting precious moments. Into fresh foods, "NOT VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN' just good wholesome food. I do also use a blender and juicer I use fresh juices as vitamin and mineral supplements. Not into mindless chatter. I believe words have meaning so let's use them with intention. ABOUT YOU; No drugs, no gamblers, no alcoholics. So far I've struck all three. I wish to know about you more than about the house. --- Priority one; mentally stable please. Sharing is not about the house it's about people first. You need to be emotionally mature, appreciate people different to you, a good communicator and not a waster of their precious lifetime. And you must know how to share with a friend or willing to learn. Not just live with travelers who move on. Real friends are honest and like to be treated as someone valuable not disposable. I am really too busy to gossip. If you've have had loads of international housemates who regularly move on , then this is not for me. Someone likes a person long term and knows how to have a genuine friendship rather than a boarding house that treats residents as tenants. You need to desire to share common areas equally and be emotionally stable. I prefer you to be a very moderate drinker if you do drink and preferably a non smoker. (Occasional outside smoker is OK). No retirees, you need to be working. However; "If you have an extraordinary offer and have your own life - please contact me". If you have a dog, it must be well trained. Many have dogs that bark constantly at people within the house and in m y experience; that represents the owners temperament. Animals love quality time during training otherwise they do not know acceptable behavior. WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LIVE WITH ME "Invent yourself and then reinvent yourself and stay out of the clutches of mediocrity." - Charles Bukowski. It's essential to have “me” time. It’s making time for those activities where we feel most authentically ourselves. Too often we are asked to conform to basic social norm and go along with ordinary flow therefore never being ourselves. I'm in a time of my life where I need to be true to me and that means time to myself. I like to pitch in with the upkeep of the house within reason. - Focused on contributing to expanding human potential. So not self absorbed, yet need personal space to be useful to humanity. I'm focused on getting things done that benefit the world and spending time on focusing on what's important and not waste time. Therefore I mostly keep to myself and respect your space. I'm into (not just interested in, but really doing all I have listed below - not just empty talk of interests that never get explored) - Martial arts trained in Aikido and Aikido Ki principals Philosophy and application - Personal development - Cooking - Well Traveled - not into sitting around talking about it; I'm creating my life. Too busy for empty talk. When you are ready for real listening I'll share videos of my life adventures. - Explored Culture including spiritual culture - deeply ( no point in being surface dweller) - Love Indigenous cultures - have participated in their American Indian and Aboriginal spirit connection rituals. Most people have become disconnected from the earth and nature. Healthy connection to nature cures every situation - Worked on million Dollar Projects and treat each encounter as invaluably as any million dollar project. Never take any moment for granted. Many people are very dismissive of each other (sadly missing every moment of being present) - Respect and Regard Business Principals - Studied Classical Piano at Music Academy and backed performers at events - Dance - cultural dance. - I work in Health, business development, personal development and Wellness area, therefore I live what I teach. - Appreciate entrepreneurial spirit in people. - Love generous attitude to life. (if you are picky and always commenting that is not generosity). - I'm focused on maintaining momentum and completing things that need to be done therefore I need a safe place to do that. - I'm organized - don't need to have someone else tell me how to live (major thing with most people is they want to control and blame everyone rather than learn self control). This is most important aspect about living together. - maintain a clean and healthy environment. IF YOU LOVE THIS; PLEASE CONTACT ME Recapping; I'm a long term Gold Coast resident. Seeking long term share til I get back to having my own home again. When emailing BE SURE TO --- INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER; that way I know you are sincere --- Or call me, love to hear from you.

Hello future Flatemates! My name is Nay, I am 23 years and a very tiny human! I love being outdoors and exploring new areas, which is why I work in the outdoor industry. But I also do enjoy being mallow around the house, having little craft sessions or attempting to learn a new skill, my latest is playing the ukulele. I am tidy and very considerate of others, especially when sharing a house.
I am looking for a room or team up with people to rent a property, preferably a house so I have a place to leave my car whilst I'm away for work. I'm looking to find housemates that I can call friends rather than just renting a room in a house. A little about myself, I'm 27 years old, I work full time as a tradesman and sometimes am away for work interstate. I am a very easy going guy, I tend to get along with everyone, love a chat. I like keeping fit and being outdoors. Willing to pay up to $300/week. Also would like to be with people around my age group as well. I Have previous references and can provide bond if required
Hey guys and girls, I'm a 26 year old female, Melbourne born and bred city girl, relocating to Gold Coast first week of March. A bit about me - typical Melbourne city girl, into my clothes and makeup, love to have a laugh over wine and cheese, Sunday sleep ins, brunch and coffee. I also love to dance, going to the gym, going on adventures, movies theatre and books, and love being at the beach by the water - hence the move. I'm bubbly but also super chill and easygoing, like my own space and privacy at times but really want housemates I can bond and form friendships with, can easily get along with anyone. All my Melbourne housemates have been awesome and become long term friends so hoping for the same :) Clean housemates a must for me though! Always clean up after myself as I like to live in a clean environment, but not willing to constantly clean other peoples mess. I am completely house trained with great rental history, clean, neat, considerate and respectful of others personal space and schedules. Not a party animal, drug user or smoker, but do enjoy a few drinks and night out. Ideally wanting a place with a decent sized bedroom and wardrobe, off street parking preferred. Please message me if you think I sound like a good fit for you :)
Hi!! We are Paula & Gonzalo (22,25) from Spain. We finished our university degrees back home and decided to travel to Australia and live here for a year working (work & holiday Visa) while enjoying the ocean, nature, good weather and surfing. We are looking for a house as close as possible to the beach or ocean views and would love to share with international people (practice english).
Hi, Just looking for a couple of housemates to team up to find a new home or join a home close to Robina or Bond University, or of course the beach. He's super chilled and quiet and will be anyones furry friend. :) I have a whole house of furniture but am happy to put it in storage if needed.
I'm moving to the Gold Coast from Melbourne to study physiotherapy at Bond University. I'm a pretty easy going person and love having a laugh. I'm always down for a good night out. When I'm home, I'm usually just on my phone or laptop (if I'm not taking a nap). Feel free to throw me a text if you're down to share a place/have a room available. I'm down to have a chat. We can Skype or whatever.

I am looking for a share house where I can feel like home, full of great and fun people, aslo a bit crazy, but also respectful and considerate flatmates. Not a party house, but have some drinks now and then.

I juggle 3 jobs and volunteer at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital in my "spare" time. Work hard, and enjoy a wine in my down time. I do have a cat, called Sushi - who is part human and has glowing references ;) ideally we do not wish to be seperated so I'm looking for a place with my fur buddy. Ideally a Granny flat or seperate section of a house but would consider anything as long as he's welcome too :) I do not require furnished but will still consider furnished.
I'm 25 and will be doing my masters at Bond University starting in May. Moving to Australia from Canada. Love watching movies and sitting down with a good book, but also enjoy going out every now and then. I like to keep a clean living space
I am a 24yo Kiwi, 2 weeks fresh on the coast. Currently unemployed, but am looking for full-time work similar to what I did back home (warehousing and production coordination). Clean, tidy and respectful. Definitely not into the party life, but will enjoy a casual drink from time to time. I am a beach lover and into various sports etc.
Hi hey, I'm 23 and currently working in Hospitality to save for my next overseas adventure/I spend more time at work than at home. When I'm not I enjoy beaching it, going to the gym and pretty much anything chill. I don't mind the occasional cocktail or wine with dinner but I'm definitely not much of a partier and would prefer to live with someone similar to myself. I'm always up for an adventure, can't say no to a waterfall day and keen to eat my way around all of the vegan places on the coast. Basically, just looking to live in a chill, clean and respectable house with similarly likeminded people that share an interest in a healthy and aware lifestyle. If you want to chat more let me know and we can organise something, definitely with food involved 😂
Energetic and full of life, I'm a Canadian travelling to Australia for the first time looking for like-minded individuals who want to live life to its fullest potentials and create life long memories. Ideally I would love to live in a youngish house hold with amazing energy and diverse people! I will be flying into Brisbane APRIL 7TH and making my way to the gold coast, hoping to find a place within Burleigh heads/Surfers paradise yet if not I'm okay with the surrounding areas! As of now I'm looking for a happy, laid back place to spend my first weeks getting the lay of the land meeting the amazing people of Australia and getting myself out of jet lag since I am on the other side of the world at the moment... lol FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I love exotic fruits and vegetables and good vibes!
