I have been living in share houses in Brisbane for years and know how to maintain peaceful harmony. I am moving up from Brissie where I currently live in the CBD with my partner of 3 years. She will be coming up to visit for a couple of nights maybe once a month and I will try to get down to Brisbane once per month too. I am pretty friendly and laid back. I avoid conflict naturally so try my best to appease those I share a space with. I am social. I like to play soccer, poker, ps4 and pretty much will give anything a go. I will try to find a local gym and workout a few times per week so I guess I will be cooking relatively healthy stuff.Ideally I'd like to move in on the 12th Feb or maybe the weekend before. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
Hi, my name is Tyra and I´m a 23-year-old student from Sweden. Going on an exchange at JCU during one semester and will move to Cairns in the middle of February. I am an easy-going person who like both privacy and to hang out. I live an active life. I like sports, traveling and social living. Looking for a room or mates to share a flat with, drop me a message if you have any queries :)
I'm in hospitality as a food and beverage manager. Living with my brother highlighted just how much of a clean and organised freak I am (one of us had to be). I'm quite a social person but do thoroughly enjoy my alone time. Love photography, an occasional netflix binge and adventuring/travel.
Hi I’m Sophie 👋. I’m 16 and going to be attending high school most days. I’m respectful, clean and trustworthy and generally keep to myself but would love to chill with my housemates, go out for dinner etc. I come with two gorgeous lorikeets and a mouse. Just looking for an affordable room to put a roof over my head
Just moved up to Cairns to work as an intern at the hospital! Super keen to be here and meet new people. I'm easy going, will likely be busy with work but always down for a drink/ chills when I'm home :)
I'm a 28 y/o who is looking for a rad new place to call home. I am About to commence a Diploma of Remedial Massage, and work at a whole foods store around my studies. I am a laid back, easy-going individual who is just as happy to do my own thing, as I am to meet new people and socialise. I'm clean, tidy and super respectful of others. I love coffee and enjoy being outdoors as much as I can - mainly lapping up all the magic this beautiful part of Aus has to offer, and I love a good yoga sesh!
Hey! Originally from Melbourne, I've recently moved to Cairns after getting a job as a divemaster on one of the reef boats. Looking for a short (2 month) stay as my girlfriend and I plan on getting a place together after that. Big fan of all sorts of music, sport and outdoors activities. I'm the kind of person who's keen for everything from a night in with Netflix to a few drinks with friends.
27 y/o artist/designer relocated from Melbourne in 2016 and after a year of living + working on the reef decided to get my arse back in to gear to study marine biology which I am now undertaking at JCU. I'm a pretty typical ~mature age student~ I'd say, kinda cynical, a little bit bitter about my greying hair and always needing another coffee. I enjoy all the natural beauty of the tropics and if I'm not studying, sleeping or watching Netflix doccos I'm out on the reef/up in the rainforest or cleaning a beach. I'm a volunteer social media coordinator/content creator for a local reef conservation NGO and occasionally this has me out at the reef overnight or for a weekend. Definitely not a veggo/preachy hippy but I like to try and make conscious choices about my existence, treat *all* people with respect and partake in extreme left wing rituals like riding my bike and recycling. My little dog Laika (Lou/Lu-lu/Loodle/Noodle etc,) a wiry haired Jack Russell is my soul mate, (we've been together 10 years💍) so an animal friendly household with adequate fencing is a must. Laika is an exceedingly friendly, affectionate lil pooch who is in her element basking in the sun or curled up on literally any soft surface however she (like me) is not a fan of loud, aggressive or violent displays, being shouted at or threatened and definitely doesn't like being kicked so if "small dogs aren't your thing" domestic harmony won't be either. We're both big fans of our down time and seem to need earlier and earlier bed times to keep up with early morning lectures so sharing with other snorlax types as opposed to party animals would be a plus! 🧩
Hi everyone! We're two argentinians friends looking for a cool place to live for the next 6 weeks here in Cairns. Both of us work most days of the week and because of that we need a place close to CBD or Cairns Central. 27 y/o each, easy going, chilled, tidy and always in good mood :) Hope to hear from you! Juan and Pablo
Hi! I'm Bryl looking for accommodation in Cairns near the Airport (where I will be working). Very quite, clean and easy to go with. Will be working night shift so I will probably be asleep at daytime (which makes me quite 😊).
I'm an active persons that doesn't always like to be at home. I'm always trying to meet new people and learn new things which is why I'm more inclined to live with someone then by myself. Always looking for the next adventure on the weekend and do occasionally go for a sneaky beer and love to socialise.
I've been a Cairns local for around 10 years. Currently working full time in Palm Cove, so I'd prefer a place close to a bus stop. As my job is stable, I can guarantee that my share of the rent and bills will be paid on time. I love cooking and online shopping. I'm a reserved person by nature, but I'm happy to bond over video games or a shared meal. My grumpy old man cat Boo doesn't cause trouble, but must be kept inside at all times. He's a beautiful Himalayan ragdoll, and can be kept in my room if preferred. I'm quiet and respectful of other people's privacy and belongings (including food!). My family has run an Airbnb for 2 years, so I've gotten very good at cleaning. I'm looking forward to moving out for the first time!
Hi I’m Sade, I’m a local from Cairns and I’m working at Rocco’s Cairns rooftop bar. My shifts are 12-12 so I’m looking for someone who is fine with my long hours :) Also a nice place that is located in the city that is easy to travel to and from work :)
I am looking for an extra person(s) to live with as my current roomies are moving south at the end of the month! I'm originally from the UK and have worked as a structural engineer in Cairns since July 2018. I’ve lived in shared accomodation for the last 7 years and love it...I'm friends with everyone I've lived with and would like to continue the trend! During the week I will be working the 9-5 grind but like to keep busy with mates outside of this. Seriously can't say no to anything, I get social fomo haha. I’m super clean and tidy but also happy to throw a party every now and again. Feel free to message me and I can tell you more! Cheers, James
Hi :) I'm Angie - a nice girl (in summary)! I work hard - I’m a trainee sonographer Monday to Friday, & a pharmacist on the weekend. When I’m not working, I’m taking a dance class, playing squash, studying, or taking a nice nature stroll. I'm looking to share a nice space with a nice person. This website is where I found my gem of a flatmate last time...so here I am again :-) It's important for me that my flatmate is also a friend with some common interests - home is much nicer when you get along well with your flatmates. I’m tidy - dishes are always put away, bed always made, benches clear etc. I am particularly mindful of keeping shared spaces clean! I have always gotten along well with my flatmates - I’m sure they’d be happy to provide a reference/ review if needed. Please ask if there's anything else you'd like to know! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Clean, friendly, easy going & easy to get along with. Respectful and mindful of privacy and personal space. Social and love to have a chat but also enjoy my privacy. I work full time and usually spend my weekends exploring/ getting out and about.
Just back in Cairns after being overseas for a while, which included Myanmar, so re-establishing my old social and professional contacts. Work with refugees as a counsellor ordinarily, doing part-time crisis assessment work currently, so want a chilled environment to live in with affable people. Am a social person, enjoying dinners with friends and house-mates, I even do the cooking so watch out. I like the local music scene though don't actually play an instrument. Do read a fair bit so not around all the time but interacting at home is part of living there. Try to keep fit by cycling and bush or beach walks; albeit slower than some!.
Hey there, My name is Jesse A little bit about me, I’m 23 years old and I’ve been living in Cairns close to 2 years now, currently working towards goal of completing a Divemaster traineeship. I would consider myself tidy and considerate as a person and someone who is easygoing and friendly. Preferably I am looking for a quiet & clean share house, possibly with garden and with lots of light and fresh air and one or two housemates. Look forward hearing from you.
Hi, My name is Sarra and I am 22 year old Radiography student. I was born and raised in Tasmania before relocating to rural NSW for University. Now I am off to Cairns to complete my final year of University at Cairns Base Hospital as a placement year. Some of my interests include sport - I am hoping to find some social sport teams to join when I move, food and red wine, and I am really excited to explore Cairns and other parts of Northern Qld. I am a respectful, quiet and clean person to live with, I like to socialise but also value alone time.
