Hello! I'm Pana and I'm 21 - I can keep to myself but I am usually very friendly and social! I'm starting my degree of Social Work this year and I work as a client care officer for a Mental Health + Chronic Disease Service and headspace. I love to swap music and read. Very respectful of shared spaces and I make an effort to keep everything I do and the house clean and tidy.

I'm clean and keep to myself. I tend to be out of the house alot but I'm not the kind of person to be loud and come home in the early hours. I like playing video games, RPGs and other nerdy things. I have a cat and I walk with a cane. I'm part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I'm NB.

Heya! I'm River! I'm from down south but I've been living in Curtin student accommodation for the last semester and since my lease here is expiring soon I'm looking to move somewhere that actually has air-con (awesome housemates would be a bonus). I'm studying first year (computing) at Curtin, and while being close to campus obviously isn't much use atm with everything online it is important to me long term. I'm helpful and tidy around the house, generally fairly quiet, will get annoyed there's mouldy food in the fridge or anything like that but otherwise I'm pretty cruisy. Ideally I'm probably just looking for somewhere I can peacefully coexist with a few people; bonding over shared dinners and movies would be a bonus. I'm not in any great rush to move, though I do need to be out by mid-July, but I'm happy to chat and get to know people without having to rush into anything. I will have a few drinks every now and then but I'm not really one for parties. I've been told I've a good sense of humour (jury's still out on that one) but I can guarantee I cook damn good crepes and I'm always happy to share them. Oh also figured I should add: I don't have any pets but I also don't have any allergies so I would love to move in somewhere where there are animals so I can get all the benefits of animals without having to feed them myself. Obviously this isn't a requirement though.

Hey! I am 19 and I’m looking for a place to escape from a toxic living environment. I am quiet and keep to myself but I do like to drink socially and go out with friends, I looovvee and adore pets so if you have any that would be a bonus to keep me extra company, I am clean and I tidy up after myself and love to keep things in place. I work at optus and hbf park and fifo on the side when covid is sorted, I would prefer to live with people around my own age, just cause I’m socially awkward😕

In May 2020, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Florida. I then accepted a position as a post-bac researcher at Curtin University on a one-year fellowship. I will be doing oceanographic remote sensing. After my year in Perth, I will begin my PhD in physics at Stanford University. Outside of science/academics, I ran cross country and track my first two years of undergrad (I don't think Australia, or most countries for that matter have student-athletes at Unis). I still run alot (like 50-70 miles per week when my feet/legs aren't injured), swim, and cycle. I recently learned how to surf in Hawaii (Florida is not a good place to surf) and want to continue getting better. My favorite hobby is hiking (I think Australians call this bushwalking). Also, I love spending time in hipster/cultural areas of cities (I've heard Northbridge and Fremantle are two good places for this in Perth). In general, I like watching and playing sports (excited to go to several footy matches while in Australia). Generally, I'm pretty laid back, but I think the best way to describe my personality is "work hard, play hard". I love animals and welcome pets (especially dogs). Ideally, I'm an early riser rather than a night owl, but am flexible, especially when its for a fun/good reason (like going out to the bar district). Most friends describe me as always smiling and joking around. So, moral of the story, I love physics, science, and kinda being a nerd. But, I'm not the stereotypical physicist you might imagine. (Update 17 May 2020) I also have a website where I post science related blogs (although I would like to improve on the content and organization). If you are interested it is kadenjloring.wordpress.com. You could message me at this site because flatmates doesn't offer this option for the free account I think
