Hey! I'm moving up from Perth to complete my masters degree, whilst also working part time. I'm a friendly and social gal (except the weeks when assignments are due), who enjoys running and cooking. Balancing work and uni will result in a rather busy schedule but in my free time I hope to do some exploring of Darwin and NT. I'm looking for a furbished room in a share house. I'm a non-smoker, without any pets, however I have no issue with animals in the house. Ideally I would like bills and internet included. I am very tidy, and considerate of others.
I work as a dental assistant in Casuarina. Love a drink and a night out. Also enjoy a night in watching Netflix or fighting over monopoly rules. I’m a neat person to live with that’s social as well as enjoying my own space. I do bring some baggage with me and by baggage I mean 2 gorgeous cats. So I’m looking for a pet friendly house that would love the company of 2 friendly affectionate balls of fluff. Wanting to live anywhere close to the city or casuarina. Wanting to be moved in within 3 weeks If your interested feel free to message me Cheers :)
Looking to rent a room from Sunday 22nd Jan. I am a professional FIFO worker Monday to Thursday, will be home Friday to Mondays only. I enjoy 4WDing so hoping to be away exploring on weekends. I am clean and tidy. Being a home owner that also rents out rooms on Sunshine Coast Qld I am experienced with living with others. I am an easy going person who likes to socialise and have my own space. Please contact me if you think I may be a good fit - Kind Regards
Engineer moving to Darwin for a 6 month work placement. Looking for a furnished room so that my partner can keep using the furniture in Melbourne! Darwin CBD (or close to it) preferred. I’m equally happy sharing a drink on the couch every night, or keeping entirely to myself. I’m planning to have a lot of weekend camping/hiking trips while in town, which I’d also welcome company on. Non-smoker. I have no pets, but I’d love to be around yours.
Greetings, We're a really chilled and easy going couple looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Darwin. Hi there! Originally from Melbourne, I currently work at the hospital as a Prosthetist/Orthotist (I make artificial limbs and splints). I live in Parap but am considering relocating closer to work in February. I consider myself clean, polite and easy to get along with. Not much of a drinker but always up for some chit chat over a cuppa. I don't mind a bit of cooking and love to share - baking sourdough and Vietnamese food are my strengths! My passions outside of work are music, hiking and recreational sports. I play a handful of instruments but am very mindful and respectful when others are home. Look forward to meeting you!
Just finished psych degree and starting an internship. Hubby staying in Katherine but fur babies will be visiting on weekends and possible stay overs when husband travelling with work. We both play golf and love cycling.
I currently work full time as a traffic management plan designer on call. i spend most of my time out on the road working, however; when i get time to chill out i like to spend time looking after my place of stay i.e. gardening, pool maintenance. i keep to myself but do enjoy a social drink or dinner and sitting down having a chat about life. i enjoy exercise, watching tv series, catching up with mates when i get a chance and helping others around the house when its wanted/needed.
Hello! My name is Sydney and I will be moving to Darwin at the start of February from the Sunshine Coast to start my PhD in environmental science. I will hopefully be kept busy during the week at uni and on the weekends I hope to explore Darwin (and the Northern Territory) a bit. I am looking to live with 2-3 housemates at somewhere close to CDU. I am easy to get along with, considerate of others and clean up after myself.
Hey! I'm looking for a room close to the city (Stuart Park,Fannie Bay,Nightcliff etc) or a place that isn't far from a bus stop to get me to work! Hi guys, I'm a teacher, just moved to Darwin for work and looking for somewhere to call home, and potentially looking for some people who can help me explore NT. I have no pets currently, but I have some cockatiels and a dog interstate that I would love to have sent here. I'm vegan, bi, social, creative, adventurous, and open-minded. I also take my job pretty seriously, and will need a space to study and prepare lessons. Looking for housemates who I can feel comfortable being myself around.
Easy going, clean and tidy. Moving up to Darwin after living the past couple of years in remote locations within the territory for work. Keen to meet new people and chill and to enjoy the Darwin lifestyle on a full time basis.
Hey! I'm originally from the East Coast and have come up North for new adventures and work. I'll be relief teaching and completing my GDLP. I enjoy netflix, heckling reality shows, baking, dogspotting, a cheeky pint, various social sports and checking out the great outdoors. Looking for an unfurnished room somewhere sociable but relaxed (I’m not a party queen) with tidy communal areas.
Hello! I'm currently working as a nurse at the hospital. I'm looking for a place to call home that has a nice outdoor area and a good vibe with 3-5 housemates. I'm easy going and very friendly, I love a good chat and the evening/weekend bev. I like to keep things clean and tidy. I live a pretty busy, active, outdoorsy lifestyle so I'm looking for somewhere nice to come home and relax with some fun people. Ideally, I would love ocean view for some verandah storm watching in the wet. I love the idea of "family meals" and if there was to be a dog as a housemate, it would be my dream come true! Sorry, Nightcliff or Rapid Creek area only. **Currently out of Darwin, will be looking again after Dec 12**
Hey guys! I'm Peter! I've just moved up from Adelaide to the amazing NT! I've visited before a few times, but I decided that I just couldn't get enough of the place and so I've accepted a 12 month contract and moved up here! I know, crazy, right!? I'm an actor/comedian, but I work primarily with sick kids in hospital and in communities. So it's a bit of an interesting job.. I've been doing that for the last 6 years or so. I've lived in several different share houses over the years, and I'm happy to send through references etc. if you'd like that too. I'm a fairly clean person, and I like to stay organised as much as I can, but I won't faint if someone left the sugar out or something.. Well.. there was this one time.. ha! Anyway.. I can be a fairly social kind of person, and enjoy good food, meeting people and having a beer with friends. That said, I also love chilling out and keeping to myself at times, I feel like you need to strike that balance a bit. I'm looking for somewhere that is relaxed and fun to live, I don't need huge amounts of space, or anything too fancy, but a nice roof over my head and some cool people to occasionally hang out with woyuld be the best! If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know! Cheers guys, Peter
Hello! My name is Eleanor and I'm looking forward to moving to Darwin at the end of January. I will be working full time as a doctor at the hospital for six months and am hoping to find a share house to call home. I am very well accustomed to share house living and have always had great relationships with my housemates. I would always hope to be good friends with anyone I lived with and to contribute to any house I join in a positive way! I love spending time with housemates, sharing delicious dinners and chatting over glasses of wine, but am also very easygoing and self-sufficient. I'm very clean and tidy and I love to cook! I also love hiking and the great outdoors and am looking forward to the chance to explore the beautiful national parks around Darwin.
Hi! I'm a social worker moving up from Melbourne in late January. I have signed a 2 year contract and will be working between the hospital and the city. I've been in share houses for a number of years now and feel like I'm a good balance of fun and respectful. I love having a wine with housemates and chatting about the day but am also respectful of people's space (and my own!). As I am new to Darwin, I'll be spending a lot of time exploring, so am happy for either another newbie to explore with or a seasoned pro who can advise on all the best places to check out. I am also looking for a fully-furnished room/house. Feel free to get in touch - I arrive in Darwin next week, however won't be needing a place until mid-Feb.
I am a married, working on a long term contract in Darwin while my wife continues to live and work in Brisbane. I am health conscious, a reasonable cook, physically active and fully fit, but do enjoy an occasional beer or wine. I am self-sufficient, helpful, well organised, like to keep things tidy, am a reasonable handyman, and use either a bicycle or my motorbike for transport. Happy to meet prospective housemates to establish the likelihood of compatibility.
Hi there, we're Monica and Matt. We've just moved across from WA for work, and we're looking for a place in the Rapid Creek/Nightcliff area (as Perth kids, being close to the beach is pretty important to us). We are early 30s, clean and considerate housemates, enjoy cook-ups with friends, baking sourdough, hiking/camping/fishing/ultimate frisbee - generally anything outdoors really. Monica works at the hospital with a shift-work roster, but she's a pretty good sleeper and we're happy to share a place so long as your life doesn't revolve around tap dancing, pogo stick or DnB.
Hello! I am moving from Brisbane at the end of January for work as a designer in Darwin City and am after a furnished room within a share house. I am interested in most things artsy, enjoy photography and love to travel and explore new places. I am hoping to find a share house with like minded people who perhaps want to explore Darwin together or like to be social every now and again. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others. Nonsmoker and no pets of my own but not adverse to there being animals. I have a car and would prefer some type of off street parking but I am flexible. Ideally I would like bills included (including internet) however, if not possible I would like to get a general idea of how much bills will be each quarter. If you have a place available for around the time I move to Darwin and think we could get along then please feel free to contact me. I will be in Darwin from the 29th of January to be able to view places and meet in person.
Hi! I've recently moved to Darwin from Broken Hill for a new job, I'm a dietitian. I'm looking to live with 2-3 housemates in Rapid Creek or Nightcliff. I'm clean, tidy, happy to share week night dinners and weekend adventures without living in eachothers pockets. My 9 year old dog Rome (border collie x red) is a very lovable outside dog.
Hi guys! My name is Alex.I am a chef, looking to move in from end of January for approximately 1-2 months, might be longer,it depends on my circumstances.
