Currently just chilling in Fairfield - flexible with move in and move out date - just need to give my housemate 3 weeks notice. I enjoy trekking, going to the gym, going to the beach. My interests include movies, cracking hilarious jokes, science/history, wine/beer, sports - I love a good game of ping pong. I have just landed a new job in Parkdale (Podiatrist) . Preferring a homely place to stay 6+ months . I am 28 years old. My expectations from my housemates would be to be reasonably clean + mutual respect/honesty. Having housemates to have good chats with is also a bonus.
I’m an easy going person, loves to cook doesn’t mind cleaning. Likes to go out and have fun but also enjoys Netflix and chill. I am currently studying full-time as a nutrition science student and love to cook which is obviously a bonus for any of those who aren't interested in cooking. Whilst I'm not studying I am either with friends, at the gym or I tend to go home sometimes on the weekend (in the country). Looking for a more permanent accomodation as I am moving off res.
Hey guys. Moving from Ballarat to Melbourne within the next few months. Currently working in retail as a store manager in Knox but also a fully qualified graphic designer (self proclaimed art wanker). Looking for a room in a house with likeminded people. I'm down for general tomfoolery, drinks and board games and I'm super keen to be mates but can also be introverted and holed up in my room on my computer playing OW for hours. I'm a cat mumma to a lil asshole named Huxley, but he doesn't need to tag along with me. Preferably a household that's LGBTQIA+ friendly would be brilliant. Ty ty 💕
My wife and I are looking for a furnished Granny Flat (or suitable apartment). We live 6 months in Amsterdam and 6 months in Melbourne and both work part-time. Our previous accommodation in Melbourne has been sold by the owner and so we are looking for another place we can use every year for 6 months from around mid-November. We are keen cyclists, so we are an active couple and not what might be considered usual for our age. We are very quite and clean tenants who prefer our privacy and respect that of the landlord. We need space to keep our bicycles in a secure and ideally dry area. We will be buying a vehicle, so we will need nearby street parking for that also.
Super friendly gal looking for a new place to call home. ABOUT ME: • I class myself as pretty laid back, fun, super caring, honest and a good communicator • I like to live in a clean, tidy and fun environment and would prefer to live with people who appreciate these values. • meeting new people and new points of view on life is always cool. • love outdoor adventures, swimming, snorkelling, hiking and exploring new places. • also love dressing up for the occasional event or night out - music festivals and charity events included. • I enjoy having a chat at the end of the day and sharing the occasional meal. However, I also value privacy - mine and others. • love animals, if you have a dog I will walk him for you!! WORK SITUATION: • I work as a theatre nurse in a quiet seaside town and am relocating to Melbourne in November to continue work in the same field whilst studying part time. I have several employment opportunities lined up, however these have had to be put on hold until I have found somewhere to live. HOUSEMATE QUALITIES: • housemate aged 27- 40 • people with similar values as above • good communication - communication is what makes or breaks a household. • if you're my housemate, I've got your back, that's just how it is. If this arrangement sounds of interest to you flick me an email :)
I work reasonably long hours as a builder so I'm only home evenings. I head to my hometown of Glenrowan most weekends. I'm a clean & tidy person & certainly willing to do what's necessary in a share house environment. Something pretty important is a peaceful place as I'm up pretty early most days. Previously in share acc. with uni students & would prefer a quieter environment moving forward. That said l enjoy a good laugh & try not to take life, or myself too seriously. Cheers
I’m a great flat mate because I am hardly at home and when I am it is usually just to sleep. I have two jobs, one during the week and another on the weekend. Also I’m at Uni as well. So I’m pretty busy and have some weird hours.
I've just started my PhD in climate sciences at Monash University (Clayton Campus). I've moved here from Germany, so I'm excited to get to know the Melbourne area! I have been living in shared apartments and I'm looking for a nice place with housemates around my age (27), ideally people to chat/hang out with now and then if work/life permits it :) I'm easy going, I don't smoke and I like the usual stuff: the beach, good food, a lot of tv shows, workout classes, riding my bike, waisting time on the internet, etc. :) I like to keep things tidy, so house mates who are the same would be ideal. I would prefer it if the room was furnished. Otherwise, I'm flexible about the moving date and period of rent, but I'm looking for something for at least 6 months or so.
