I'm a clean & respectful, easy-going guy; Always happy to listen and provide advice when needed. I love to be in a household where everyone gets along and drama is minimal. If everyone else is comfortable, then I'm comfortable :). I always wash my own dishes after I've used them and would like to live with people who do the same. I've been teaching in Vietnam and have now decided to come back to Australia to study at University. Most of my time will be taken up either studying or working so I'll definitely be an easy housemate to have. I'm looking for any private rooms available from Melbourne CBD all the way to the Monash University Clayton campus, preferably within walking distance to a train. Must have all bills & internet included in the rent. Hope to hear from you!
Hi there! I'm a student in my last year of University from Vancouver, Canada. I'm easy-going, tidy and respectful. I am social, but also value my alone time. I'm looking for a fun, but relaxing house vibe.
Hey guys, I'm 25 year old straight male from India and I have lived in Dubai my whole life. I'm going to start studying in the Monash Caulfield campus so I'm looking for a room in a Sharehouse to stay either short-term or long-term :). I'm neat, clean, respectful and I WILL NEVER PAY LATE. I do not smoke in front of non-smokers or in the house and I WILL HELP AROUND THE HOUSE since it's only fair :). I am completely open to meeting new people and I can adapt to a new environment very well. I keep to myself when I have to, for example, while I'm studying, but otherwise I love hanging out with anyone and everyone as long they do too. I am always up for an outing during the weekend! I'm a very active guy who loves long distance cycling or mountain biking and if I'm not doing either of those, I'm at the gym :P Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Very easy going and respectful of others. Clean & tidy. Live a healthy and active fit lifestyle. Work full time. Prefer car accommodation if possible. Cheers John
I'm looking for one person to join myself and my friend in a house share. I run two businesses and have two jobs, one is full time 40+ hours weekly in Richmond for a digital marketing agency, though I often work from home. I'm looking for a 'normal' household without any issues, everybody cleans up after themselves, no stealing, no excessive noise etc. I was born in England and have an accent but I've been here for 7 years and consider myself Australian - I'm a citizen. I like the outdoors and I like technology; I used to run a computer store in the South East. Ideal budget is $250 per week inclusive of bills, living with 3 - 4 people. I have a friend who will also move out if possible, he works a very similar job, has the same budget and the same morals. If you already have a place and need two people, that's perfect. Message me for anything, I'm open to any offers.
Hello! Am chasing a one bedroom flat for just myself, I just want my own relaxing space to call home :) I work shift work and my hours can be a little taxing on housemates. About me - Am bordering OCD when it comes to cleanliness and take pride in my environment. Working professional in a full time position, have been renting for five years and am very financially reliable. Hobbies, when time off permits (a rarity) include all things outdoors (camping, hiking, skiing, 4WDing), all things food (excellent cook), craft beer & coffee, weights training & road trips. If anyone is hoping to transfer their lease or has a one bedroom flat on offer, ping me a message!
Hi, my name is Floor, i'm from the Netherlands and I'm in my third year of Economics. Next semester, I will be going on exchange to Monash University (Clayton campus) and that is way i'm looking for a fun and cosy place to stay. I like to play field hockey, sailing and chilling with friends.
My name is Ebony and I'm looking for a place to live close to Box Hill Hospital as I've just been offered a job there! I've just returned from living and working in Canada for the past 18 months, working at a ski resort for two seasons and working with Bears in the summer. I'll be working Monday to Friday at varying times and on the weekends I'll be staying active, catching up with friends and family and heading up to Mt Buller as much as I can to snowboard. I currently live in Pearcedale which is just too far of a drive so I'm looking to live closer to the city. I've had experience in share houses, I'm very neat and tidy, I enjoy staying fit, cooking and going out for drinks every now and then!
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable & respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm often away with work & gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also flexible with length of stay, I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on.
Born and raised in Bangalore. Moving to melbourne to do my masters in Monash. I hope to gain a lot of experience in and off campus. I am an easy going and fun loving person, but at the same time I like my space. I'm a bit of a clean freak, I like to keep everything in order. I'm open to new things and I'm looking forward to have some great adventures during my stay.
Hi, we are a couple, Katie (30) and Chloe (32), and we are looking for a room in a sharehouse from roughly the start of July to the end of November. We have lived in Melbourne for 7 years but will be moving interstate come December. Katie works in physics research full-time and Chloe is a producer finishing her master's at the VCA. We are both very chilled and clean, we like to eat pretty healthy and exercise regularly. We love to travel, hike and camp, listen to music and hang out with friends. We would love housemates that want to be friends and enjoy sharing a glass of wine over a meal, we are both vegetarian, but don't care if you aren't.
NOTE: WE ARE NOT A COUPLE so we will need TWO SEPARATE ROOMS!! Hey my name is Jacob. I'm a 21 year old contracted electrician but looking to get out of that industry and move into realestate. On weekdays I tend to spend my time either working, going to the gym or just kicking back and watching some tv. On weekends I usually just chill out and hang out with my housemates, go out and have a beer somewhere quiet and chill or go on an adventure. I am a non smoker, I don't own a pet and Im very considerate of other housemates space. Id also like to add that even though I am still young the party life is behind me but if there is a special occasion I will crack a beer and join in on the festivities, but I’d much rather be in the kitchen making an awesome as meal or going on an adventure and experiencing life. Hey there! I'm Katelyn, I'm 22 and originally from Surfcoast, Victoria! I'm a chef so I work pretty hectic hours, but when I am home I love to be in the kitchen, keeping myself busy or I'm super chill, love to spend time with whoever's home, as well as being the occasional hermit (you can blame Netflix). I'm fully house trained I promise so I love to make sure the house is clean and tidy. I'm respectful of everyone I live with so I'm sure we'll get along great!! And would love to have the occasional drinks if you're up to it! I have been living in Melbourne for the last twelve months. I love it here and can't wait to find some awesome new housemates to enjoy it with too. As well as myself, I come with two very cute additions!!! Two five month old kittens that will do anything for some cuddles! NOTE: We are not a couple so we will need two separate rooms.
I am an open and fun person to share a room with me. I cook well so thus I can help my roommate to survive. A good taste in music and a love for following the news. A journalism student at Monash University, Caulfield.
Hi, we are a couple aged 25(myself) and my partner aged 32. We are looking for a spacious room. We prefer a house where the common areas are spacious enough for everyone to chill and relax. Our hobbies and interest are playing piano and guitar. I sing, and we both are hiphop/funk dancers. We both work and are a bubbly and friendly couple! We both come from respectful backgrounds. We are great mannered, respectful towards others, their personal space and belongings. We pay rent on time and are very clean and tidy as my partner has asthma, so we like to maintain a clean environment! I have lived in shared housing before. And could provide references if need be. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you, Shadae and Matt :)
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne after having spent the last decade split between California, Finland and Germany. I am searching for an affordable, furnished or partially furnished room in a flat or house share.(If need be, I can also furnish a room, don't hesitate to write!). I'm flexible with regard to rental length as well, whether something shorter or longer term. I translate and edit professionally, so I am occasionally around at home to do that, although more often than not I'm out and about working or exploring. I'm increasingly involved in music production and web design as well professionally and for myself. I like to play ice hockey and music (with headphones at home, with amplifiers elsewhere ;)). I'm quite interested in politics, science, tech and the world at large. I am tidy, responsible and quiet. I'm happy to socialise with housemates, and it's nice to catch up for a meal together and to be able to chat. I enjoy cooking and baking a bit. I don't have pets or kids, am consistently employed, and can pay rent/bills/bond on time. I'd prefer to live with people who don't smoke indoors as I don't smoke myself. I am bilingual (German/English) and happy to practise Finnish and French if you're keen. It would be lovely to keep up/brush up on languages :) I am quite flexible with regard to location so long as good public transit connections are nearby, as I do not own a car (although I am after a bike here soon :)) and am fully at the mercy of Melbourne's trains, trams and buses for now ;) Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
Hello. I moved over to Melbourne from Tasmania to study honours in neuroscience. Have now finished and looking to do some more study. Love music, science, philosophy, bush walking, and dumpster diving.
I'm from the UK doing the stereotypical traveller thing before hitting the dreaded 3-0!! I am a sociable person that loves the company of others but won't intrude or be too noisy and disruptive. I can integrate with all ages groups, my closest friends range from the age of 25 to 41. I'm clean and tidy, I actually find washing up therapeutic and love the smell of clean clothes! 😁 I have not been unemployed since the age of 12, so have always been able to pay my way, including rent! I hope you will consider me :)
