Hi, I recently moved to Melbourne from Singapore. I am starting a part-time job near Docklands/Harbourtown and would be looking to stay somewhere nearby. I am clean and tidy.
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
Hi guys, I am looking to start a share house with 1-2 other roommates. Preferably a 3 bedroom house in the areas and under the price I have listed. I am looking for this to be a home, so roommate fit is very very important to me! The house needs to be close to a train station as I study and work in the city. A little about me, I'm a young working professional in mid-twenties who is also attending university for a Master's in Business. Easy going and social but also have a very busy schedule so I am out of the house quite often. Love to maintain a clean common area and keep an orderly house but also like to relax and share a glass of wine or meal with the roomies. Ideally would love to find a couple of like-minded friends to start a sharehouse together.
Hey! I’m Daisy, I’m 32, originally from the UK but in Australia on a working holiday visa at the moment. I’m currently working in Docklands as a web designer and looking for a place to lease until I leave around April next year. I'm a super clean, tidy and considerate housemate and excellent bill payer! I’m a friendly introvert, also LGBT so you gotta be cool with that, veggie (but not shouting about it), foodie, non-smoker, heavily into movies and TV, love my music and going to gigs when possible, always up for a Netflix night and trying new restaurants or bars or trivia. I drink but usually only socially while out. Where I live tends to be a place to take some quality downtime so I’m looking for an adult flat, with like minded individuals to share with and chill out.
Hi all who might be taking the time to read this! My name is Ignacio, a 25 y/o guy from Chile, but hey, please keep reading! haha I'm moving to Melbourne to study my master's in Information Systems at UniMelb, and I'm planning to spend also a couple of years in this city. I graduated from a public university in Chile in Organisational Psychology, and then I worked as an IT implementation consultant for a firm based in Toronto. As I was awarded with full graduate scholarship, I decided to come to Melb to start this new chapter of my life. I usually spend my free time biking around the city, and visiting new cafes and bars, if not a park -depending on the time of the day-. I also enjoy cooking at home, as it allows me to save a lot of money as well. At home, I'll be usually seen either studying, cleaning the kitchen -yeh, I'm a bit of an OCD when it comes to that, so I usually clean after myself immediately-, or having a good chat with my future housemates while enjoying a glass of wine. I'm quite house-trained as I've been living with flatmates for quite a few years now both at home, and abroad, with people from different nationalities, so I'm also pretty flexible and chill when it comes to get to know each other and their different habits. As a Chilean, my mother tongue is naturally spanish, but I have been speaking english also from a very young age, as well as working (and studying a bit) for a couple of years now, so communication won't ever be a problem. If my profile seems like a good fit for your houseshare group, please don't hesitate to send me a message as I'll be very looking forward to seeing them. If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, please feel free to shoot your questions! I'll be open to having long distance interviews/calls from now, and for inspections starting from the third week of January. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile!
Hi, My name is Natalie and I am in my mid thirties. I am looking for a mid to long term and preferably furnished (but can be flexible) room that is north of the city out to Essendon-Coburg and on the city side of Bell Street and within a 15-20 min walk to a train station. Ideally I would a like an inclusive of Rent and Utilities around the $300 mark. I am neat and tidy and will keep the place presentable and will respect other people's belongings/privacy. I am a 9-5 office worker and outside of work I hit up the gym most nights and/or be lazy and opt for wining and dining instead but less often than not. Weekends are generally running around doing stuff or just socialising with friends. I understand people lead busy lives these days, but I would prefer someone and or people that like to have a chit chat with their fellow flatmate/s on a regular basis. I am an animal lover so pets would not be a problem.
Little bit about me, I’m 24, I’m originally from Melbourne and I just can’t seem to stay away! I really enjoy travelling, hoping to hit 25 countries before I'm 25. (4 to go!) I work full time in the city, looking to move in a little closer to bring the work/life balance a little more into equilibrium. I'm generally I'm a social person who is more than down for a cheeky G&T and a chat but also my own space. On weekends I enjoy getting out, particularly out of the city up to the Dandenongs, Marysville or Healesville, (anywhere with a winery is a huge plus!). I also enjoy baking, Gilmore girls & brunch. Feel free to message if you'd like any further details! Cheers, Kim
My name is Shae and I am a young Australian girl originally from QLD but have lived in so many different places in Australia and Asia - used to travel ALOT!!! I have been living in Melbourne for about 12 months. I work full time as Mother of doggos at Seeing Eye Dogs Australia - yep kleenex pups everywhere!! I am also studying Veterinary Nursing - when I find time?? haha yeah right! I am super chilled out, polite and have been sharehousing for years so understand the importance of privacy, cleanliness as well as being a part of a household! I am an animal lover so spend most of my time with the dogs at work, pet/house sitting or hanging out with my lizards that stay with my boyfriend at his place. I will spend some nights at his place as well, so not at home always. Most of my friends are musicians so I go to alot of gigs but not really looking for a huge party house. Chill time away from said musicians would be nice ;) 420 and LGBT friendly is not required but preferred just so I know youre not bad crazy! When I am at home, I like to cook healthy (and sometimes naughty!), sit in the sun, have a tea or a few beers, talk shit about stupid shows like Rick and Morty, GoT, Walking Dead, Big Mouth or whatever is going at the time. I like to think Im pretty funny, bit quirky but also pretty normal? I feel like Im not great at writing bios so just let me know if you would like to know anything else :)
Hey future housemate, I'm Mauricio (Colombian) I'm here studying a diploma project management and also I'm working. I'm very laid back, smiley, enjoy all sport and going out for drinks. I'm social and easy going, all round good person and seeking similar. I like to spend time with the house members like sharing dinner, beers, wine and talking about life experience.
Hi! I'm Taner, I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I won't be in Melbourne until January but checking out what's out there before going overseas over Christmas. I'm a considerate housemate who likes to live in a clean and positive environment. I love to socialise but also appreciate some good old 'me-time'. I'm moving to Melbourne to find connection with my creative side and will be working part-time, moving away from my very exciting career in accounting and towards something more fulfilling. Ideally I'll be looking for a furnished room around Yarraville / Footscray or the Brunswick area. I'm a new vegan and would love to live with others who share the same mentality. I also will be living away from my husband and dog and would love to live with kind, considerate people and/or pets :)
I'm from Melbourne and looking for a place to live for the summer and maybe longer. I work full time in government but also considered myself quite the traveller and have backpacked around the world solo. Love to meet new people and consider myself fairly easy going. I'm fairly active and independent so won't be home too often. Although when I am home I'd love to hang out sometimes! I'm vegetarian and not bothered with those that aren't long as it's a two way street. I drive everywhere so am looking for a place with free car parking. I would also like my own room (hopefully something with some closet space!) and live with a maximum of two other people. Let me know if you'd like to know more :)
I am a Kiwi girl living in Melbourne and am a full-time dance student training 5 days a week and am usually just keen to sit on the couch and watch Netflix after a long day. I have lived in my previous flat for 2 years but have to move because the owner wants it back. I am an adventurous person and love exploring different suburbs during weekends.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
Hi! I'm a 23 year old Canadian and a recent uni grad with a degree in Political Science! I'm easy going, approachable, and usually down for a chat or sharing a meal but can totally respect when people need their own space to decompress and relax so can be pretty quiet too :) I'm not much (if at all) a party person and I don't smoke and hardly drink so you won't see me drunk and stumbling home late like... ever haha. I do enjoy fitness, travel, rnb, karaoke(!!!), binge watching bad reality TV on Netflix, podcasts, going to concerts, hunting around at opp shops and vintage places, and exploring new food joints around the city. I'll be working retail during Christmas so I expect I will not be home too too much during the week. Weekends I could be working, going out east to visit family, or just chilling. TLDR: I'm super cool, super funny, and super sweet! I can probably make you laugh like 3 times a day... maybe more like 2 (but still quite impressive). I hope this little blurb was helpful to get to know a little more about me! But if not, please feel free to message me with any other questions you might have! :)
Currently looking for a longterm place somewhere to call home. I'm rather laid back working Mon-Fri running a cafe in the city. During the week I'm pretty busy with work and on weekends I'm mostly out and about. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy chats and a drink I'm pretty outdoorsy and also enjoy a good tv series!

Hi there, I’m looking for a place to call home not a room to rent. I’m easygoing, always up for a friendly chat and try my best to get to know my housemate because there’s nothing worse than an awkward conversation 😬 I work full time in the financial services industry and like to come home and just switch off. I’m house trained and I like to keep everything around me clean and neat. If you’ve got any questions please don’t hesitate to ask :)
Hi, my name is Nuno, I’m currently based in Melbourne working and studying. I'm a photographer, really easy to get along with, tidy and organized. I'm into Arts, visual arts specially photography, music is something that I cannot live without and sports. I'm always up for a good movie and I love to cook and have nice dinner with friends, sharing experiences and have a good chat while drinking some beers or enjoy a good wine. I love action sports, which is my main work (as a photographer) in the last few years. Love the beach and the great outdoors and anything related, camping, trekking, 4wd off road trips, mountain biking and travel. I also love gardening and I'm ok with pets if it matters.
