I am a 21 year old from Norway taking on my third gap year going to Australia on a WHV from October. I've spent my previous gap years working double shifts back home and backpacking solo in Asia and Europe. Now I'm eager to explore what Australia has to offer. Planning on starting in the Sydney-area but also curious for other cities and areas :-) I'm planning on working, catching up on some surfing and of course exploring and having fun. I enjoy chilling at the beach, getting to know new people, a good meal, working out and a good party once in a while. Preferably a shared accommodation with other people my age, backpackers or others on a WHV, but everything is of interest. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or you think I will be a potential flatmate for you!
Hi! I am pursuing my master's degree from Macquarie University. Ideally would prefer a tidy accommodation close to Macquarie University and even better if it's a share house with young professionals or students. I am easy going, responsible and good at adjusting to situations. Always up for conversations, music and exploring the city!
-I'm an engineer moving to Sydney for work from Newcastle. I am currently wrapping up my PhD and planning to move to Sydney around Oct 1st. -I will be commuting each day into the city so I need to live somewhere within 10mins walk of a train station. -I am after my own bathroom -I need to park either underground or on the street -I've lived with others as well as on my own before. I understand how to keep things clean, quiet and am generally someone who is respectful and mindful of others etc. -I'm from Newcastle but have been to Sydney many times. This would be my first time actually living in Sydney though! -For fun I like to watch TV shows/movies/sport, play video games, fish, golf, hang with friends etc. -I go to the gym 3-4x a week as well as do some kind of cardio/walking every weekend
Hello, I’m Uri. A pleasure to meet you! I am in my early 30's, originally from Canada. I moved to Australia (Gold Coast) five years ago to study law and immerse myself in the Aussie culture. Needless to say, I fell in love with Australia, its people, and natural landscapes. I recently completed my education and presently looking at Sydney as a future place of living. Having grown up in a European home, cleanness, tidiness and hygiene are extremely important to me. I love food, meditating and exploring new places. However, also appreciate a quiet time at home UNDISTURBED, CALM, PEACEFUL, TRANQUIL ENVIRONMENT with no loud noises or unnecessary interruptions. I DON'T DRINK generally, rarely socially, prefer housemates who are not into drinking and/or smoking. Undisturbed sleep is VERY IMPORTANT to me (i.e., noise from television, constant music, especially after 10 PM, constant visitors, would not work for me). If you want to party, by all means go for it..., just do it AT THE CLUB. I have no interest in being someone's mother, maid or cook. Accordingly, common areas would need to be kept clean by some sort of mutual arrangement or agreed upon schedule (i.e., floor/carpets, bathroom/s if not your own, kitchen, rubbish). I can be fun to be around and love a nice captivating chat over coffee, however, pillow talk - probably not so much, time & place. :) At the end of the day, this is a business arrangement and it's in everyone's interest to maintain and keep an environment that is cohesive, considerate of personal space and amicable for all tenants. Zero tolerance for mind games, passive-aggressive behaviour or deflection of responsibilities. I also understand that this is a two-way interaction and where comfort, familiarity and trust are essential. Accordingly, I invite you to call me via phone/skype/zoom/facetime to have a chat and to ask me any questions, to see if this arrangement would be of interest to us both. Initially, my preference would be to commit to 2 to 4 weeks (NO BOND) to test it out. If everything runs smoothly, happy to extend and negotiate rental term on a more permanent basis. I am willing to provide Australian national police clearance certificate as well as rental/character references. Thank you for taking the time to read my intro and I look forward to speaking with you.

I'm both house-trained and easy to live with, and like a healthy balance between having a chat with my fellow housemates and respecting eachother's space and privacy. Let me know if the above sounds like what you're after too :) Thanks! Madeleine

Hello! I'm Elodie, a French physiotherapy student. I'll arrive on December 8th, 2019 in Sydney for 3 month-long in order to do an internship in Lane Cove West. I'm looking for a cosy, peaceful and welcoming homeshare or flatshare where flatmates are keen to chat, spend time together (why not being friends at the end) and are understanding when someone needs to do her/his own stuff. I am a calm person, tidy, like to be in a clean house, open-minded, reserved at first, then friendly and easy going. I love spending time with friends, watching TV shows, movies, reading and doing sports (running, riding, windsurfing, skiing). I look forward to coming to Sydney for discovering the Australian everyday way of life, meet people, visit great places in order to come back home with a lot of good memories.
