Currently studying Business/Hotel Management and need a place to live from July onwards as I'm moving back to Adelaide from Melbourne. I'm pretty easy-going, having lived in two share houses and boarding houses before, so am also respectful of others and their property. I enjoy swimming and makeup, in addition to cooking, eating, travelling and sleeping. I am also down for any binge watching of just about any tv show or movie!
We are a couple from Manila, Philippines. We are migrating in South Australia on April 2018. We are well organised, friendly, and easy to get along with. We are looking for a furnished private couple room for rent with internet and bills included. We are hoping to find a house that are near to the city, the bus stops, train stations, supermarkets, and restaurants.
I'm kind, considerate and clean. I've lived in a sharehouse for the past 3-4 years and so am well versed in sharehouse etiquette and finding a happy balance between being a social house-family and getting some solo R&R. I keep active, enjoy rock climbing, trips to the beach, cycling to/from work, and other kinds of outdoorsy activities. I'm a working musician - I play folk/blues on guitar and vocals and gig almost every weekend. As well as this, I work in a music store and teach piano and guitar. I keep very busy with these things, and so even when not at my day job I like to stay focused building my music career. I'm currently booked until May which hopefully eases any concerns that you'll have a tone-deaf hopeful amongst you ;) I absolutely love animals but am highly allergic to cats, so any homes with those are firmly non-doable.
Hey, I'm Charlie! I'm a 26 yr old student studying education and working two jobs, one as an event designer and 'setter-upperer' and the other as an SSO (teachers aide basically) in schools. I'm Adelaide born and bred but have traveled relatively extensively to all the major continents in the world except North America (and Antarctica!). I come with an assortment of items needed for a house including but not limited to: a washing machine, a fridge, a recliner, kitchen table, cutlery, crockery, and potentially even a nice modern leather couch and a table tennis table (those are in the works!). I have lived in a share house previously and understand the requirements for living with people and pulling your own weight around the house with jobs. I enjoy working as a cohesive unit to keep the house clean and presentable but also love to have a drink and socialise with new people. I have a relatively active social life but also love to chill out and veg in front of the tv watching a movie with a bottle of wine or play some PlayStation. I play amateur league footy for Old Ignatians' in winter so my weekends are usually filled with footy and drinking or work so I'm unlikely to be seen much around then however am always open to new plans! I drive my own car and have been raised to be a decent cook and love to cook for others so there's a good chance you'll benefit from that!
I’m 18, super tidy, and respectful! I work part time as a waitress/bartender and will be starting uni mid year. I’m super easy going and enjoy fashion, watching movies, shopping, coffee dates, and spontaneous adventures! Looking for a room in a house full of super chilled out, open minded people! Preferably all gals! Bonus if you fancy a glass of wine!
I am a 23 yr old male young professional, also wrapping up studies at uni. My girlfriend is a 21 yr old female, studying full time at university. We are a joyful, dedicated but relaxed couple looking to rent **TWO ROOMS**. We love a few drinks occassionally but are focused on getting our work done. If one of the two rooms were to be available before and the other after, that is not a problem as we do not need to move in at the same time. Would love it if one of the two rooms was an ensuite but thats not a requirement. A bit of flexibility with furnishing is preferable as my girlfriend would potentially like to accommodate her double bed. A safe neighbourhood, locks on doors and decent dedicated housemates are a MUST. Availability of parking on the property would be important as we have one car but on street parking (in a safe area) can be accommodated. Please get in touch if you can propose a place similar to these requirements. Happy to team up with fellow room hunters with similar requirements! Look forward to hearing from you soon :)
I have recently gained a new job in Adelaide (Northgate) so I am seeking a pet friendly room to rent preferably near by. I'm not real familiar with the area but basically dont want anything anymore further out North. I have lived in share houses before so I'm considerate and respectful of others, in return I would expect the same. I'm one to clean up after myself and my dog so that wont be an issue. I'm easy to get along with and wont hide in my room like a hermit. At the moment I am working at a gym, for a footy club and I also do remedial massage. ( I study too) I'm not much of a party animal and prefer more low key weekends. Indy is a 5-6yo staffy cross who is very well behaved. A place with another dog for company would be great although this isn't a deal breaker If she is the only dog she will get lonely and want to be inside with me when I'm home so all housemates/owner would need to be OK with that. Secure fencing is a must! and no unfortunately no cats If your place sounds like it may be suitable send me a message! Thanks Haley
Currently in Adelaide for work. I work full time with the occasional odd hours. Not likely to be seen most of the time. I enjoy reading, watching anything interesting on netflix/stan. Self proclaimed foodie but not that type that cooks alot. I like to think I'm hilarious and fairly sociable. I make a good food/movie buddy - but at the same time, very respectful of people's space.
Hi, my name is Dalbir. Moved recently to Adelaide for work/study. I'm a full-time nurse and am also currently doing a post-graduate course at University as well - so that keeps me relatively occupied.
My partner (Eman) and I are currently travelling around Australia from London - having a great time! We have decided to settle in Adelaide for a while before we move to the East Coast. We are both 29 and will be working full time. Eman is a poker dealer so will be working nights the majority of the time and I am in beauty so will be working during the day and weekends. We enjoy socialising and meeting new people. We love travel and exploring. As housemates we are very tidy and respect others belongings and privacy, however, we are always up for a cheeky drink or movie night.
I'm a 22 year old medical student (currently in 4th year) that works part-time in medical admin. Originally from rural SA but have been in the city for 5 years now. I will be completing a rural placement in Whyalla from June - August so the room will largely just be for weekend visits to the city and to store my things. I am looking for a place to stay that is close to the city and public transport (nRAH parking is a nightmare)! Happy to live with any gender or couples. I would love to be able to bring my Australian Kelpie 'Champ' along to stay with me but I understand that it may not be possible. Would love to come and have a look at any rooms available - not a big fan of apartments though!
In my free time I like to do fitness or cooking dinner together. I’m not a party mate but I enjoy having a good talk. Easy go, quiet and clean living mate. Often I drive out for camping or fishing on the weekend.
I work full-time, Monday to Friday from around 8.30am to 5pm. I am warm, friendly and easy to get along with. That said, I'm more of an introvert and tend to prefer doing my own thing. Outside of work, you'll typically find me reading or watching TV series. I've had housemates before and understand the perfect balance between being sociable and respecting others' space and privacy. I'm very well house-trained and pro-actively contribute to household cleaning and other chores.
I'm a chilled, outgoing, red head who needs a nice, tidy place to live! I'm tidy and organised, happy to help out around the house. I'm quite sociable and outgoing, love meeting new people. Not a party animal, but don't mind a cheeky red every now and then. :) Originally from the Barossa and needing a place to live in the city close to uni as I study full time at uniSA in radiology. Would love to hear from you!
full-time professional, easygoing, tech-savvy, fun, clean 31 yrs male who respects privacy. looking for a studio/shared house to move in by 7-14-Jun in <10k radius to the city. the place needs to be furnished with an ensuite/own bathroom and carpark facility. will like to be with a like minded individual. can pay upto $300 per week depending on the place/location
Hi I'm Chris, a 22yo Bar Manager with a passion for hospitality. I like to keep the fridge full of cold beers and hummus. When I'm not working I'll probably doing some form of activity whether it be playing guitar or going to the gym. I don't eat anything that comes from an animal, so you don't have to worry about me stealing your snacks. Always down for a cheeky beer.
I'm Priyanka from India migrating to Adelaide on PR in May. Looking for a furnished room with linen in a house. Preferably with not more than 3 more flatmates. This would be for 4-6 months. I’m extremely easy going, fun loving, neat and respect the privacy of others. I'd like to know if you'd be interested in discussing further,Priyanka
I am young and working/studying very hard this year for honours at Adelaide Uni. I am a reasonably quiet housemate and mostly keep to myself but am always up for a chat and to get to know someone. You will often find me cooking, doing a puzzle or watching Friends/some other Netflix show. I also like to go out for a drink, read, eat delicious food, walk and play netball amongst many other things! I'm looking for a place with a spacious room and ideally, furnished. Most importantly I want to be able to get along with my housemate(s) and make a home, looking to share with other like-minded females.
We are very outgoing and friendly young couple. We respect others values and privacy. We maintain hygiene as it is very important for us. We are students at UNISA and will be busy with studies and work throughout the week. We are also cool with pets and are looking for houses near to the Uni as it will be convenient for us to communicate with uni and work. We also love to visit new places around Adelaide and are adventurous.
We consider ourselves an organized and sociable couple, we like to cook and also we like quiet and clean environments.
I am an international student at UniAdelaide who moved from Canada last semester, I transferred my degree so I'm not an exchange/study abroad/temporary student. I'm loving Adelaide so far! I love forming good bonds with the people I am living with so that we live as friends and not just as housemates. I am very neat and clean and respect other's privacy. I would love to live with people who share the same views, especially regarding cleanliness. A relatively quiet person who loves reading, cooking and baking, so frequent free tasty treats are given. You'll often find me curled on a bean bag cradling a book. Also, I love plants and gardening and going on impromptu adventures to explore the wilderness, camping, hiking or a sunset by the beach. (that's Hallet cove trail on the photo on a rainy day, thought I could outwit Adelaide weather mood swings) I don't mind having a night chat over a cup of tea and catch up every once in a while. :) Seeking a party-free, non-smoking, no-pets household; although, I wouldn't mind a cat. Contact me only if you're looking for/ listing all-female flats. Thanks!
Hey there! I have just returned from a year of travelling with my girlfriend and I am actively looking for a room to rent. Whilst I was away, my family moved to melbourne My girlfriend and her family lives in adelaide. I was only in melbourne for two weeks before realising it is not for me. I am currently working in hospitality with plenty of hours so you might not see me all the time, I am very friendly and easy going! At the same time I can be to myself and respect personal space. I am still currently finishing my course which should be any time now! I enjoy relaxing on my days off by spending time with good company over a drink or hermit-ing my self and playing video games! I am very reliable and have a good ethical attitude, I feel that I would be a great housemate and would not let you down. Best Regards, Cameron
I am very chill and easygoing, and I keep things tidy. I will probably have my head down studying a lot of the time, but I love people and am certainly keen to socialise. I kind of just adapt to whatever the vibe is in the house, I like to socialise but I also don't mind spending time by myself if need be. I'm new to Adelaide from Perth, and I study Psychology at University of Adelaide. I like getting to know people, chatting about any topic, running & keeping fit, playing/writing music, and I like to get out in nature when I can. I'm not against the occasional social drink too.
