Hi, I'm Raeychale, I'm from Wagga Wagga, and will be moving to Canberra to start studying full time at ANU, as a science undergraduate. I practice martial arts, love travelling and spending time with friends. I'm friendly and easy going, and clean up after myself. I'd love to find someone who wouldn't mind getting to know each other, and spend some time watching a movie or catching a bite to eat in our free time. But at the same time, I know everyone has busy lives, so i value some quite time too. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
Hi, I'm Stacy! I'm 25 and I am working full-time in government. I am active and social and love keeping busy. I am a relaxed, clean and tidy person and I am also very respectful of personal space but enjoy relaxing and socialising over a glass of wine. I am looking for a place to move into by the end of the year, and happy to move into an existing sharehouse or start a new one (would love to look for a nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom place with one other person). If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask!
Hey there! I'm Eryn and I'm quite the dynamite gal. I've just completed my Cert IV in Musical Theatre but will not serenade you with broadway songs if you do not wish for me to do so. I'm a pretty arty person and love to draw/get my art on and obviously perform. I'm currently working 3 jobs in children's entertaining/educating and customer experience. I'm a fully grown child and love to watch anything disney (classic and pixar), As a theatre girl, I would consider myself outgoing (but not whack job crazy) but I do respect that some people need privacy/quiet time :) I appreciate the casual wine and cheese nights, although I appreciate the cheese more so than the wine. Let me know if you have any more questions!
Hi There! :) I am currently searching for a new place with some cool housemates! if you are looking for a friendly, bubbly and down to earth housemate than I am your girl. I currently work part-time and occasionally work bar tending of the weekends. So ill be in and out a bit. I like to spend my spare time catching up with friends and my partner especially! I do have a lovely and quiet 7year old cat and she is fully house trained and generally keeps to herself when she is inside of a night and outside during the day. you wont even notice she's there unless she takes a liking to you! I am looking to move out anytime between now or the end of November at the latest! Please feel free to send me a message or an e-mail if you have any further questions. (:
Hi Canberrian's! I am hunting for a place to live for next year and hopefully beyond. I am getting in early on here to see what's out there, and see if anyone would be interested in living with me! I have just been accepted into a Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Mathematics to become a secondary math teacher. I am technically moving from Wagga but really from Sydney depending what date I move. More about me ad my situation: - Looking for somewhere around $200 or less p/w, could pay up to $250 if it includes bills - Close to UC campus would be desirable. - I'm into Netflixing, casual drinks, and most sports. Love music (not all), and I am heavily involved in the agricultural industry. - Looking for a household that is social, but also respects privacy. I do enjoy going out from time to time but I'm not looking for a full-time party house. - Fully house trained, actually going back to share-housing after living alone, mainly for cost reasons, but also people are kinda fun. - Bonus points if you consider allowing my cat to move in with me, but it's not a deal breaker as I have alternative accommodation for her if I have to. She is desexed, and extremely well behaved (house trained too!) and loves new people. I can sign a lease when needed, and supply references from previous rentals. Will be looking for work once I have moved but rent will not be an issue. If you have any questions, or are interested in living with me shoot me a message or text.
I am a part-time Student at the university of Canberra and have been employed full-time in my chosen industry from the past 2 years. I have a 17Wk old Bernese Mountain Dog (Apollo) who is the most laid back bear you will ever meet, he comes everywhere with me (including inside the house) to uni etc and is only at home during the day on his own 3 days a week as I put him in day care :) He is very well behaved doesn't bark, bite but does sleep and snuggle a lot. Ideally I will need to find somewhere that has a decent sized back yard but do not mind if there are other pets as Apollo Loves everything and everyone. Please send me a message, I would love to hear from you :)
Hi! My names Lily and I'm at UC studying a Bachelor of Primary Education. I keep neat and clean in shared spaces and all my makeup/hair stuff stays in my room so it won't be clogging up any bathrooms. For fun I do a bunch of craft, play video games, read etc. or just hang out.
Hi, my names trent, im 19 and am moving to start a mechanics apprenticeship in mitchell. Im a very easy going, social and clean person. I enjoy have a beer or two on the weekends, video games and working on my car. If you want to know more feel free to message me, due to apprentice wages max rent will be about 150, hope to hear back and thanks in advance
I'm a cheerful, laid-back country girl studying makeup. I'm quiet and tidy but is always down for drinks and get-togethers. On arrival in Canberra I'll be looking for part-time work but as of right now I'm unemployed.
Just another bloke at the pub. I'm a former ANU and UC student and have done several sharehouses over the last 6 years odd, so understand the nature of various households. I'm flexible and able to adapt myself to the requirements of housemates, having lived with men and women of various individual natures. I am a Football (soccer) enthusiast, refereeing football and futsal regularly. I'm also playing local level (social) cricket on Saturdays, enjoy lawn bowls, pub trivia and local gigs. Anything fun, its all an adventure. I'm generally a sociable person, but have days where I'll disappear into a book or tv show in my room, as we all do. I'm Just a regular pleb frankly. I quit my previous job to travel to the World Cup in Russia, so I've been in Port Macquarie with my parents since returning from Europe. Currently on Newstart but I have 5 nights a week refereeing football/futsal lined up in Canberra so I will be able to readily afford essential living expences while looking for more regular work. Geographically flexible in Canberra area, mainly returning to Canberra for the purpose of cricket season. Trying to keep it on the cheaper side. Happy for a furnished or unfurnished room, any size. Any questions just give us a shout! Cheers, Matthew.
Hey there! I'm moving to Canberra the first week in January to commence Study at the University of Canberra under the Vision/Health Science Degrees. I'm an easy going person that has lived in shared accommodation before both with and without students so definitely have some experience on that part. I will be working Part-Time in Canberra around my studies as well and potentially a smaller second job and will be studying at home and Uni most of the time when hours are free so if you are looking for a quiet roommate that will be no problem. Most of the time I enjoy listening to and playing a variety of music as well as acting in stage and musicals, I also enjoy a good Video Game (I have most of the latest systems so they will be coming with me.) I also love any activities that allow me to socialize and enjoy spending time in other peoples company. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested in a team-up or wanting a roommate and we can get to know each other more!
Full time Physio student at UC, work early mornings and have lots of contact hours so won't be home much. Like being tidy and generally stick to myself. Non-smoker, willing to chip in for cleaning/housework/gardening but prefer to cook for myself.
I'm a 23yr old part-time animal science student. Am about to begin my placement and looking for somewhere to stay from end of October through till early January. Not a partier, but love a beverage and to socialise.
I have been living in Canberra for six months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a long-term rental for 2019. I'm 24 y.o. studying physio therapy full time at the University of Canberra. I have lived independently in a number of share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going, tidy and clean. I'm looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and just general positive vibes. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan but for the right place I'd be happy to look at starting an earlier contract.
Getting in super early to see what's out there, having just been accepted into a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Secondary Education: * $150ish or less p/w, could pay up to $180 if it includes bills * Close to UC campus or in an area where there are buses that go to campus (I don't drive). * Footy/sport in general/music/TV/cows are my kinda things. * Keen on a household that is social in a ‘can eat and watch TV together sometimes’ kind of way, but isn’t a party house all the time. * This is my 500th attempt at uni so I won’t be going out too much but I’m also not adverse to a drink (or ten, if the situation calls for it). * Wouldn’t be my first time out of home so I’m well house-trained, and would prefer a clean home. * Bonus points if you have pets because I’ll miss my cat. *Female house preferred but not totally essential. Moving from Sydney and will hopefully have Youth Allowance, but will definitely also be looking for work. I have 8 years of experience in fast food/hospo so hopefully shouldn't be too hard in theory.
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hello, I am currently looking for a place close to my workplace in Lyneham. I am very quiet as I work full time and have an early start in the morning. No pets of my own but up until recently was volunteering at a veterinary clinic so am animal friendly. Non-smoker and rarely drink.
Hi there! My name is Teaghan, im 21, from Sydney originally and currently studying Public Relations at UC (2nd year), i currently live on res but am looking to move off next year ! I'd consider myself a pretty social person with a positive laid-back personality. Ideally, I'd love to move in with someone around 18-26 who doesn't mind having a chat or hanging out and sharing a drink here or there, however am also respectful of others privacy as i like time to myself too. I am a clean person who is always happy to chip in with chores around the house and help out in any way i can. In my free time i love to get out of the house and do something, whether it be going for a walk around the park/lake, going shopping, watching a movie or just getting some lunch. Although i am also a bit of a homebody at times and am happy to have a day at home just chilling out. I'm looking to move in around January next year, so a bit early to look but shoot me a message if you think we would get along !
HI there My name is Chelsea I am 24 years old and I am studying nursing in UC. I like to clean after myself so I would like to live a clean place, I dont smoke but i like to drink occasionally. I will be studying most of the time and I also work part time, not a loud person but I love to chat from time to time. thanks
Hi there! I am a current Masters student at ANU, and I will be working for the Department of Defence next year. I am a clean, friendly, and outgoing person with a rotten sense of humour. I am looking to move into a place with a maximum of 2 other people within central North or South Canberra. Thanks! x
Hey there! My name is Olivia and i'll be moving to Canberra January 2019 to start a BA in museum studies and conservation. A little about me is that I currently work within the entertainment industry as a costume/props maker. So I love to sew and make things! I'll also be moving with my 1 year old cat Lucy, who is very sweet, loves treats and prefers to do her business outside. When I move I have a preference for a house/townhouse rather than a apartment (just something with a yard for Lucy, she likes to climb trees). Another preference is a larger room as I will be coming with a bed, dress mannequin and a pretty large desk which I use for sewing an such. Im not fussy when it comes to a place that is already established or not (i.e. furniture, kitchen stuff). Location Im looking for a place that will be within bicycle ride of Canberra Uni would be amazing! But I also have a car so not a priority :) Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask :D
I'm an easy going, fun 23 year old currently working full time in event management. I've been in Canberra for 5 years and just returned from exchange in the USA. I'm usually pretty busy but in my free time I'm usually at the gym, catching up with friends or binge watching Netflix. I'm fairly easy going, love a clean house and have lived in previous share houses so I appreciate other people's need for quiet time!
Hi All I am a neat and tidy guy looking for shared accommodation. I am a permanent worker in disability. In my spare time I like gaming, chess and playing music. At home I always play acoustic and then practise with my mates elsewhere. I have early starts and late finishes so I am not into partying. I also plan on returning to study and working next year. I tend to keep to myself a bit but also enjoy a chat over a glass of wine occasionally. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi! I'm a full-time uni student at UC who works part time and looking for a place in 2019. I'm looking mainly for 1 other student female housemate although 2 would be my max. I'm super chill and really easy to get along with. As a housemate, I'm neat and tidy, enjoy cooking, and always clean up after myself. I love a good movie to watch or have a few chill drinks, but I also appreciate time by myself. I'm fairly flexible and easy to accomodate so I'm not too hard to get along with :)
I'm a full time student at the ANU studying a double degree in linguistics and archaeology. I am quiet and stick to myself, however I won't say no to an evening socializing with my housemates or a spontaneous grocery trip. I have previous experience sharing a house and am very keen on creating a welcoming environment. In my free time I enjoy watching Netflix, baking, reading, playing video games, and listening to podcasts. I would like to take up gardening, so if you have one that would be a big plus! I am more than happy if you have pets, and am very good with cats, but if you have a big and/or energetic dog I would like to meet them first. I do not have a car and cannot cycle due to medical reasons, so it would be great if there are bus stops nearby. NOTE: My maximum budget of $300pw includes bills. I look forward to meeting you :)
We are a couple of Mexicans, we love food, movies, and traveling. We cook, work, try to achieve our goals, we have been together for 18 years (very established) no dramas, and love different cultures.
