Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for like-minded people to live with. I am a chill, friendly, easy-going person to live with. I am tidy, respectful and I enjoy a good household hang out. I am a musician (flute, piano, guitar and vocals), and I love attending live gigs wherever possible. I also really enjoy cooking (for myself and for others). I love films, pop culture and reading. I spend a lot of my free time reading, or watching Netflix. I am a newly converted (wannabe) gym nut. I am focusing on getting healthy and being active. I have an 8 year old White Russian cat named Milo who I would absolutely love to bring along.
I am a Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer so very active and will be travelling back and forth to the house a few times a day as my work hours are all over the place. Very chilled and easy to live with. Will spend most of my time at home watching tv and chilling with my dog - Raven. She is a Great Dane with the most beautiful nature and easy to get a long with. She loves her cuddles and may accidentally sit on your lap from time to time
Living arrangements are coming to an end so I'm looking for some kind and relaxed people to live with. I try to keep shared areas clean and I'm usually very conscious about sound levels. I like to believe I'm approachable and understanding. I'm vegetarian and like to cook days ahead as to avoid dishes piling up.
I'm currently 19 years of age turn 20 in September, working in retail over the holidays when school got back will be working as an LSA teacher teaching children with disabilities PE. Love the outdoors, always up for a laugh and drink, like to keep fit, just your average easy going girl get on with anyone and have a contagious bubbly personality. I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
Hi everyone I just moved to Canberra from Indonesia to study Master of International Relations at ANU. I am currently staying in a temp place and looking for a room to rent for a year or longer. I enjoy movies, cooking, being outdoors and in adventures. I quit smoking, generally dont drink but i dont mind occasional drinking or being around smokers and i do clean after myself. I respect personal space and privacy just as much as I enjoy being in a company of friends and as an international student i am more than happy to make friends with anyone.
I am a tidy person to live with. I am friendly and always up for a chat. I work part time at the moment with two jobs. Ive lived in Canberra my whole life and would love to experience living out of home. I love to cook and bake and go for walks. I would prefer to live north side Canberra as it would be more convenient for work and visiting family
Try my best to keep to myself with studying and working 2 jobs, teaching and entertaining kids, but definitely down for a chat. Don't mind what you eat but I'm vegan myself so I go through quite a few bananas and tubs of hummus. Don't have pets myself but would love yours!
Hi, I’m looking to join an existing sharehouse or start one. I’ve been lazily lurking here awhile to see what’s what, but I’m now getting my butt into gear and am actively looking. I’m a non-smoker and am looking for a non-party household. I’m fairly tidy and enjoy a good book, Netflix, going out for coffee and food, Reddit, YouTube and video games. I’m a night owl but I don’t make too much noise. I enjoy a good movie night or family dinner every so often. I manage a retail store at Westfield Belconnen currently and am looking for full-time professionals or reliable students to share with. I’m keen to make a home, not just a house. I’d prefer to live with 1-3 women in their 20s/early 30s but am flexible. I’m okay with including a guy in our house too. If we’re starting a sharehouse, I’d love to get a newer place with larger rooms and a bit of light, but obviously with uni starting back the competition is stiff right now. I come with bedroom furniture and random other bits and pieces for the common areas, though I can get rid of them too if necessary. Shoot me a message to meet up/show me a room. Cheers, Scarlett
Hi there, I work full time as a registered nurse, I have no kids, pets, not a smoker! Relocating to the ACT in 2017, Prefer a very clean and tidy house (I'm a very clean and tidy person), with 1 - 2 other people, My significant other lives in the ACT so if I could find a place where he could visit that would be perfect, Please send me a personal message! Ta! Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am young friendly, respectful, honest and neat woman who needs a very serene environment to stay and study at the University of Canberra. I a mother of two nice boys from Ghana but they are currently not with me. They are in Ghana and I am just in Canberra to pursue a 2yr Master of Nutrition and Dietetics programme at the University of Canberra.
Hey! I'm Lachie :) I'm an easy going, 22 year old uni student studying Environmental Science. I am just trying to live the most fulfilling life that I possibly can. I love staying fit and active by riding my bike, practicing yoga and getting over to the coast for an occasional surf.
I've lived almost exclusively in share houses for the last 8 years (preceded by 6 years of boarding school) so I know all about being respectful of other peoples' spaces and reliable with rent, shared expenses etc. I'm super clean and tidy and I don't like mooching off others, so I expect the same from my house mates. I work full time in the public service so I won't be home much during the weekdays. Weeknights I'm usually pretty content just to do my own thing but I'm happy to jump on board social events too, especially when someone else organises it. It usually doesn't take much twisting my arm to get up to adventures on the weekends though. If you want to know anything else just let me know or feel free to do a cheeky Facebook stalk Also my move date is flexible! I had to put one down so it's just a rough estimate. Cheers!
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra for a full time public service job. I'm originally from Wollongong, and i'm a laid back, tidy and respectful person. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, and hanging out with friends, and would love to find a place where my housemates are always up for a chat and a drink or two, but still respect each others privacy. If you think we'd be a match it'd be great to hear from you!
Hey! my name is Rachel, I'm 19 and I've just moved from Newcastle NSW to Canberra to study a Bachelor of Social Science/laws. I'm clean and tidy, I've lived in a share house before so I know how to be respectful to others in the house. I'm also very friendly, outgoing and easy to get along with. I'm looking for a house where we all get along and enjoy spending time together having a chat, watching TV, or having the occasional dinner together, but I also like to have my own time and space and would give my housemates the same. I'm new to the area and don't know a lot of people, so I would like an easy going, friendly household, preferably girls in their 20s who are fun, outgoing, awesome people who would even like to do things like going out together, going on adventures, to the gym or out to lunch. But I'm still open to living with males as my last share house was with 2 males and we got along really well. Message me if this sounds perfect for you! :) :)
Hi there! My name is Elley and I am a 22 year old student studying social work and working part time. I have recently moved back to Canberra after living away for about 4 or 5 years and am looking for a new place to move into. I am a pretty laid back girl, who loves getting out and about, playing sport and having a chat. I am looking for housemates who enjoy spending time together, having a chat and a casual drink together on the weekend. Would be keen to have a chat if you think we would get along!
I'm very accommodating and friendly. I am currently living in a shared house, but the people I am with whing all the time and make me feel like I'm walking on egg shells. I'm just looking for friendly laid back people to live with.
My name is Zac, I am a 23 year old male student. I'm currently studying a doctorate at the University of Canberra and am working part time. I currently live in my family home (in Bungendore) and am looking to move somewhere a bit closer to UC.
I'm an ANU student studying physics and economics, currently working part-time at a leisure center. I'm used to busy youth hostels and shared accommodation situations when traveling, have a huge respect for privacy, am very relaxed, and enjoy cooking! I'm a huge arts lover, so I guarantee you'll never have a shortage of solid movie and music recommendations. Enjoy contemplating life, chatting about space exploration, or just chilling over drinks? I'm your guy. Moved from Washington DC, US after graduating high school early 2015, and am accepting the inevitable broke university-student-life in Canberra. I'm looking for similarly-aged people to share somewhere close to either Belconnen Center or ANU, but am interested in joining existing housemates if you're looking for one!
I am a 23 year old veterinarian who is moving to Canberra to start a new job. I will be moving to Canberra at the beginning of March and am ideally looking for somewhere to stay for 6 months. I am a polite and tidy person and enjoy cycling, hiking, reading and baking when not working. I am looking for a share house with some friendly flat mates who don't mind the occasional evening chats over a glass of wine.
I am a paralympic athlete who is studying a teaching degree. I have a pretty planned out routine, i like to eat and i nap a lot. I'm a friendly, but quiet person and enjoy having people around to chill out with.
Hello! My name is Emma I work full time in the public service. I enjoy relaxing with a drink with my friends on weekends, I love music, art and good food but am a fairly terrible cook myself. I'm an outgoing person and am looking for a house with a considerate, kind and easy going vibe.
Hey there, my name is Padraig which is pronounced ridiculously thanks to it being a Gaelic name and there being very poor interplay between English and Gaelic phonetics. I'm from Melbourne originally and moved up to Canberra recently to begin a Grad program with the Federal Government. I'm employed as an ongoing APS4 so I will be reliable with all bills/rent, promise! Regarding me personally I am a sociable, neat, and caring person who enjoys getting to know people, drinking (where appropriate), playing card and board games of which I own far too many, getting excited over/petting basically every dog I see, and coffee because some Melbourne stereotypes exist for a reason. I am a mean pasta cook, but also inherited the Great British Fry Up from my Brummy father which I would be excited to share with you!
Hi! I'm moving interstate from Melbourne to Canberra at the end of Feb for work and looking to find a suitable flatshare. I am easy going, love going to the gym, reading and going on hikes. I am always up for a chat while also respecting other people's privacy. I am a neat individual, and I always clean up after myself. I'm looking to find like minded housemates who would be interested in being friends since I am new to the city. But all good if that's not your forté! I'm also interested in teamups. Send me a message if I sound like someone you'd want to live with :)
I am 47 years of age, I am a working professional from 9-5 weekdays, I am a vert clean and organised person, I do not smoke or drink. I enjoy going to movies , dinner and trips away when time permits.
Started full-time work as an office manager this year. Enjoy going to the gym or chilling at home watching netflix after work. I like going out for coffee or brunch on the weekends and love going to the movies.
I'm Jared, a friendly, respectful, tidy and fun 25 year old environmental science student working fulltime in the public service. I am looking for a room to rent and a new place to call home, in a reasonably central location. I lead a reasonably active and social lifestyle, playing sport, cycling and hiking. I like hanging out around the house/going out for coffee and having a yarn. I am very interested to team up, as I've meet another great person. We're both looking for a third person to find a place with. If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to send me a message. Cheers
I'm a South Australian Librarian, recently moved to Canberra and am working for Federal Government. I stick to my room and am a considerate, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I don't eat meat. I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic. Ideally I am looking for a housemate that is around my own age. If you feel like we'd work as housemates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi potential future housemates. My name is Meg, and I'm a beginning teacher. I'm looking for a pet-friendly place to call home, preferably in the Belconnen area. About me: I'm a 28-year-old female. I'm vegetarian, but don't mind what you eat. I'm fairly left-wing and non-religious. My interests include art (mostly sculpting), walking and running, reading, writing, watching TV/movies, drinking tea, discussing politics/philosophy/the meaning of life, chilling with friends, outdoor adventures, board games, and experiencing new things. I'm starting out in my teaching career, and will probably be focussed on work over the next few months. I am fluent in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). I have a car and a motorbike. About my pets: (it sounds like a lot, but you'll only really see the dog) 1 Dog (young bichon frise) - Micky is a small, hypoallergenic (non-shedding) dog who will probably live with me part-time. He is young (8 months), and training is ongoing, but is friendly and loveable. He is an inside dog, and will need a dog door and a small yard. He is attending puppy school. He would probably love another dog for company, but I would have to see how he gets on with other pets before committing to a place. I have no idea how he would get on with a cat. 2 guinea pigs - Titian and Smudge are male guinea pigs. They live exclusively outdoors. They will need a semi-sheltered section of yard for their hutch. Beyond that, you won't notice they exist unless you choose to interact with them (in which case, they are quite cuddly). 3 cockatiels - I have three cockatiels that live in a movable cage. They are used to living indoors, but could be relocated to a sheltered outdoor area (such as a covered verandah). Cockatiels can be quite noisy. Again, you would not have to have any interaction with them unless you chose to. I'm looking for: A room, granny flat or studio in a place with a yard and a small dog door. I have a car, a motorbike and a pushbike. I'm happy for my car to be parked on-street, but would prefer my motorbike and pushbike to be out of sight of the road. I'm looking for laid-back housemates who are happy to hang-out occasionally and have a chat, but are also happy to do their own thing. My budget is up to $200/week, but would pay more if bills are included. If you're interested, you can contact me on *oh for to five nine three oh seven ate ate* (written this way so it's not picked up by spam bots).
One of your best housemates garenteed; even a new good mate 😁😁 Respectful, reliable and honest. Really easy going, fun and down to earth. Moving from Jindabyne nsw
Clean & tidy, quiet, ready for a chat, loves diving. Likes cooking and respect other spaces. Ready to make new friends. Likes to grow veggies!

Hi all, I'm a teacher who's recently returned to post-grad study, and I will be moving to Canberra to make the most of the benefits of being on-campus. I'm very easy-going and happy to do my own thing but also don't mind a chat in the evenings. I've been living in sharehouses for the past 10 years in Sydney and am very adaptable, clean, tidy and considerate of others' personal space. I love to cook, grow veges, read and watch netflix. I also love riding my bike, bushwalking, sailing, making a fool of myself at beginner dance classes and generally getting out and about. I have lots of kitchen appliances, but not much furniture. Looking for an easy-going household with people who like their own space but are also happy to hang out every now and then.
Hey all, I am a pretty easy going person. Not overly fussed about the noise. I do my fare share of the cleaning and maintenance in the house. Moved to Canberra to study at the ANU. I am working part-time at the ANU as well. Originally an expat kid, grew up in Japan and lived all over Asia/Australia. Currently learning Arabic, but can speak few other languages as well. I love the outdoors, and I go hiking almost every second weekend. I'm currently travelling in Europe and North Africa. Will be back in Canberra in early February. I'll be in my last semester, so only looking for something for 6 months. I enjoy intellectual conversations with my flatmates, but I also respect privacy. I'm working part time as well, which takes away a lot of my time. Happy to team up with anyone as well. I don't mind pets, so that's a non-issue for me. Send me a message if you have place. I'm looking to start renting on 7 February onwards. Cheers
We are Alice and Rob, a 29 yo electrician and a 26 yo pilates instructor (about to start studying Physiotherapy). We need a place to stay short term, flexible with arrangements but looking at 6 months at the moment We have owned our own home and will treat yours with the same level of respect
I'm an outgoing, keeping fit active guy. I like to have a chat. I like to keep the house neat and tidy. I work a fair bit, so I'd be out of the house a lot.
Hi! I am a 4th year ANU law student. I have just returned from a semester abroad. I work part time and study full time. I am an independent, laid back, adaptable and social person. I have lived in shared housing for 3 years and understand the necessities of living with others. I am clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I enjoy home cooking, a good chat and an occasional drink. I have an extensive knowledge of films and many other interests especially travelling and photography. My parents live 2 hours away on a farm, that produces lots of organic goods! I am looking to share with either a male or female. I will have a car so public transport accessibility is not essential but preferred.
Jermaine, looking for a place to call home with some people that I would like to eventually call friends! I work Full time, Mon-Fri! Play Rugby union, guitar and just love listening to all types of music! Easy going, keen for a laugh. But also respect others space!
I'm 19 and have just moved from Perth a month ago. I have a job in franklin. I don't drink or smoke, I'm pretty quiet so I'll probably spend most of my time in my room, at work or I'm happy for a bit of socializing as well of course. I do need a room that is able to comfortably fit a queen size bed frame, but apart from that I'm pretty open to seeing my options. Look forward to hearing from you! :)
Easy going, active public servant looking for short-term accommodation to June/July before heading overseas on posting. House trained and will provide wine and cheese.
Hi my name is Jedd, I moved in from Adelaide shortly before Christmas. Im working a really steady roster at JBHiFi in the city centre but I'm also studying VFX and Animation in Watson, and undertaking an internship in Acton at the Film and Sound Archive, so a place near the city or with good access to it is a must right now. I'm very clean and polite. I can cook for a group and I come with a staff discount at JBHiFi if we need to upgrade any ammenities. I like to get out a bit, either for drinks or the odd walk/jog, when it's in the budget I wouldn't mind joining a gym either. As far as hobbies, I'm big into both awful and good movies, comics and video games, I spend a lot of time illustrating too! I love pets if you have or want to have any, I have history as a pet/house sitter so people can vouch for me if you need it. I don't sweat the small stuff so I doubt theres any chance of friction living together. I'll be out of the house a fair bit anyways with all my commitments, but I'd love to be mates with whomever I lived with If you have any questions for me feel free to call or text me, I'm working till 5:30 most days though so apologies if any of my responses are delayed at all. I check my emails at lunch too! Cheers!
hey there! I am looking to share rental accommodations. I am originally from Sydney, commencing work with ACT health in late Jan. Please contact for more details :) Thankyou!
I'm looking to move as soon as possible into a house where I can have my dogs as my current place does not allow them. Right now I'm looking for people to join me in renting a place somewhere in the Gungahlin area that allows pets but that's just a preference my dogs are happy to stay where they are as well. I'm a public service contractor that's lived in Canberra my whole life. I'm pretty out going and active I gym every day, ride motorbikes and love to long board and snowboard. When I'm home I usually veg out on my computer and keep to myself but always up for a chat and I'm a pretty great councilor and advice giver so if any life problems arise I'm always happy to help.
Hi there, I'm Tahlia, a 23 yo female, a bit about myself, I have 2 jobs, one at The Basement in Belconnen as a bar tender which is a lot of fun to work at since music is a big deal to me, its also an awesome place to go for a few drinks aswell :) my second job is at Kmart which i will be starting soon. My Hobbies: I am very much into my gaming, mostly World Of Warcraft in my own time and i do enjoy having a casual game with friends, even when it comes down to some board or card games :) I am also big into comics, my favorites to read are things such as Deadpool, Batman, The walking dead series, and more, one of my favorites would have to be The Killing joke :) I love my music as i stated above, and binge watching tv shows on netflix is always a good time. I am a pretty happy friendly bubbly person who loves to have a beverage or even a cup of coffee with friends/ room mates here and there, but i also respect everyones privacy and personal space. I am currently attending ANU studying marketing and psychology. I also work part-time at Cricket ACT. The majority of my week is spent studying or working. I am quiet yet social, especially clean and respectful.
Hi everyone, I'm almost 25 (wahh), public servant and been living in Canberra for many years now. I'm after a lovely lady who'd like to share a place together! Aiming for someone of a similar age as it'd be great if we could hang, cook, party, exercise.. Whatever you're in to :) I'm a shift worker though so some days I'll be sleeping during the day and working the night.. someone who is considerate is a must :) However I don't expect you to tip toe around! I'm fun and easy going, love to chat but very happy to have some quiet/private time! I like being active and socialising with friends! I have a somewhat biggish knowledge of Canberra, so I'm happy to show you the ropes if you're new to town ;) I'd like somewhere inner north, Gungahlin or Belconnen.. I'm open to most areas but I work in the city so somewhere not too far from there would be ideal! Happy to pay up to $270 a week. A Full time worker would be my pick but if you're studying/working/juggling life that's cool too! I have an entire house full of new and pretty furniture (plus a ginormous curved TV which is amazing to watch movies on) so I can supply all that minus your bedroom furniture. I'm hoping for a late March move! Shoot me a msg if you're keen!
Full time ANU law/arts student and diploma of nursing student, both looking to work part time as we study. We are quiet and happy to help around the house, keep a tidy and clean area and are very relaxed. We like keeping a busy lifestyle and will both be busy with work and study. Happy to hang out and chat at the end of the day but also happy to keep to ourselves if that's what you like. Neither drink regularly or smoke and have no pets. We are from little Tassie so will be looking forward to exploring the area and have family in Sydney so will be away occasionally. We are cruisy people and ideal flat mates!
