I also like racket sports (e.g. Squash, Badminton), gym and also driving in addition to exploration and getaways. I generally keep to myself and will either ride, walk or drive to work.

Hi Im a 22 year old male who has moved to Canberra for study Im currently working 2 jobs and looking to move in roughly 10th January but sooner will do if need be. I am enrolled in a bachelor of science staring first term in 2017.
Hi All, My name is Karen, I am 23 years old and will be relocating to Canberra in January to start my career in the APS! I am very excited for this move and I can't wait to become a local and explore everything that this city has to offer. I enjoy hiking, music, art and yoga, and am a pretty laid back and easy going person. Hope to meet you soon!
I am 33 years old, came late to tertiary education and have just completed my Honours in History, as a civilian, at ADFA. During the next twelve months I'll be working and putting in some private study before resuming my formal education in 2018. I am currently in Brisbane spending some time with my family. I am sharing a place at Campbell, but looking to move on. I was born in Canberra and intend making my home there. I am a non-smoker, a social drinker and enjoy the company of others. I'm tidy, domesticated, easily to get along with, reserved and quiet, but enjoy socializing and meeting people. I enjoy cooking, am well-travelled, and have a wide circle of friends both within Australia and internationally.
Hey! My name is Jacob and I'm a full time student at the University of Canberra studying Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation. I work part-time at Coles in Belconnen Westfield and am looking to move into a share house from my current to meet new people. I'm easy-going and like social interaction with anyone. A year long stay with other students in a share house would be preferable.
G'day, I am a 22 year old student who just completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science at University of Wollongong. I am about to commence my Master of Statistics at ANU this year. I am very studious, and will probably be spending a lot of my time studying at the uni. I am also very conscientious about my fitness, particularly martial arts. However, I don't mind the odd social drink, as well as TV show/Film/video game. I lived on campus at Kooloobong Village for the first two years of my degree, and off campus through a real estate agent (Cooper and Cooper) for the final year of my degree. I have never had a complaint at either locations.
I've lived almost exclusively in share houses for the last 8 years (preceded by 6 years of boarding school) so I know all about being respectful of other peoples' spaces and reliable with rent, shared expenses etc. I'm super clean and tidy and I don't like mooching off others, so I expect the same from my house mates. I work full time in the public service so I won't be home much during the weekdays. Weeknights I'm usually pretty content just to do my own thing but I'm happy to jump on board social events too, especially when someone else organises it. It usually doesn't take much twisting my arm to get up to adventures on the weekends though. If you want to know anything else just let me know or feel free to do a cheeky Facebook stalk Also my move date is flexible! I had to put one down so it's just a rough estimate. Cheers!
I'm super friendly and easy going. I currently work in a cafe Monday to Friday and like to hangout on the weekends with friends. I have a gorgeous puppy named Charger who is also super friendly. I'm a tidy person who can keep to themselves but also hangout and chat. I really enjoy baking. I'm looking for a new place to live that is more chilled out and less stressful. I'm pretty easygoing regarding bills and rent as long as it is suitable.
Hi, I am a female international postgraduate doing Master of Commerce at ANU. I am easygoing, tidy and considerate, and have shared houses with others before; I thus fully understand the importance of taking care of the property, respecting others' privacy, and getting along with all the housemates.
I am a clean and tidy person. Respectful and conscientious of others. I don't drink much and am also looking for a quiet house. I loooove dogs, so if you have one, I would fit in easily. I also am always up for a nice conversation over a cuppa.
I'm Jared, a friendly, respectful, tidy and fun 25 year old environmental science student working fulltime in the public service. I am looking for a room to rent and a new place to call home, in a reasonably central location. I lead a reasonably active and social lifestyle, playing sport, cycling and hiking. I like hanging out around the house/going out for coffee and having a yarn. If you feel that I'd fit in, don't hesitate to send me a message. Cheers
I'm a 21 year old full time worker. I love cooking, binge watching TV shows such as Doctor Who. I'm looking to move out of home as it's probably about time. I have a gorgeous house trained cat who has been around dogs as well as children. I'm a wee bit of a clean freak which is beneficial for those I live with as I will not be messy! I have lived out of home in the past in other countries and am used to the responsibility that comes with living out entails as well as working with others to make a home. Please message me if you think I'd make you a great addition to your household (:
Freshly graduated out of the ANU and looking for a place to stay. Im a graduate in Masters of International Relations and a former Public Relations consultant. Looking for a nice homely atmosphere to live in and fun people to share the house with. I like cooking and consider hygiene very important! Very happy to share an occasional beer or wine and watch movies and tv shows.
Clean & tidy, quiet, ready for a chat, loves diving. Likes cooking and respect other spaces. Ready to make new friends. Likes to grow veggies!
Hi, my name is Jade. I am 21, moving from Perth Western Australia for a job in Canberra! I am really social and friendly, however I will be studying and working full time, so I probably won't be at the house all that much! I am an easy-going, friendly and clean housemate, hit the gym a fair bit, but I'm also happy to have a Friday night pizza and beer, and hang out with housemates. Alternatively, I am also more than happy to just do my own thing, but would prefer to live with people who love a chat, might want to come on a road trip, or give advice to help me learn to ski over weekends in winter! :) I enjoy a balance between work, study and the rest, and love being active. Happy to live with guys/ girls/ older/ younger. Send me a message if i might be a good fit for your home! :)
I am young friendly, respectful, honest and neat woman who needs a very serene environment to stay and study at the University of Canberra. I a mother of two nice boys from Ghana but they are currently not with me. They are in Ghana and I am just in Canberra to pursue a 2yr Master of Nutrition and Dietetics programme at the University of Canberra.
I like to think I'm a very easy-going, open-minded guy. I will pull my weight around the house and love socialising however I also enjoy some quality alone time. I recently graduated Year 12, am looking to move out and will begin tertiary study at the ANU in 2017. I work in a bookshop and love having chats about movies and TV. I was born and bred in Canberra so I know the area well. I love to spend time with friends and am in a same-sex relationship. I am a very clean person and hate mess so I hope you will consider me as a potential flatmate!
Hey there :) I'm DaHye, a third year BA/BBA ANU student originally from Korea, currently majoring Arabic language, minoring Japanese and Middle Eastern Asian studies for my BA program. I will be returning to Canberra on 16 Feb, and I'm looking for a share house with fun and cool people :). A coffee addict and casual runner, neat and super organised, enjoy some light beer/soju during dinner. I stayed in share houses while I was in Morocco and Japan both for 6 months last year (also stayed in student residence during first two years in Canberra), and didn't have much issues with housemates during my stays. I'm not a huge party monster, but I really enjoy listening to people and have a chill conversation.
Hey! I'm Lachie :) I'm an easy going, 22 year old uni student studying Environmental Science. I am just trying to live the most fulfilling life that I possibly can. I love staying fit and active by riding my bike, practicing yoga and getting over to the coast for an occasional surf.
Hi, I'm currently a student studying at the ANU and will mostly be out of the house/apartment in the day at uni. I'm pretty sociable and like a chat and movie here and then, but I'm also usually out of the house hanging with friends :) If you need space, I'm also pretty good at keeping to my self. I don't throw parties and do like to have the occasional friends over for a movie or games night, but even then, it's pretty rare (1-2 a week). I've lived in a share house for the last year and it's only due to lease expiring that I need a new place. I don't mind anywhere Northside Canberra as I have a car so I'm pretty flexible with location, but close to the city would be preferable. Hope to hear from you soon!
I'm 20 years old and finished high school in Canberra. I am a part time education student at UC and am working full time. I'm looking to move out of home again but am not too keen to live alone just yet.I have lived in a 5 share at Cooper Lodge at UC but am not looking to go back any time soon. I get along with pretty much anybody and am very easy to talk to. I enjoy netflix binges and watching movies. I love a good chat and glass of wine. I also enjoy a good night out for a few drinks and a good boogie at Mooseheads with all my friends. I enjoy hanging out but also need some quiet down time to study and regenerate my energy. I am clean and tidy and very respectful of others. I am looking to move in March but if something comes up with an earlier date I can easily rearrange my plans. I turn 21 in April.
Two friendly male students keen to find a warm and welcoming home. We are outgoing guys who value doing our fair share to make any house a home. We love our cricket, both good and horrible movies, and the great outdoors.
I'm a 4th year UC student starting my second degree this year, I also work part time. Love to socialise but do also enjoy time to myself. Very clean and respectful of other people and their personal space. Ideally looking for somewhere close to the city but would be happy with anywhere northside. Ready to move in anytime in January.
Hey guys, my name is Libby and I will be moving from being a permanent member of the Defence Force to study at ANU. A little bit about me, I love spending time with my friends however I also enjoy to have my own space. I’m not a big drinker and definitely don’t go out clubbing or partying, I would much rater study or watch a movie (a tad boring). Being in the military I love to keep everything in my area super tidy and organised plus I lead an active lifestyle.
I'm moving from Brisbane to Canberra for a graduate position. I'm friendly and easy-going. I love to cook and like my home kept fairly clean and tidy. Ideally I would like to share a 2-bed 2-bath unit with another non-smoking young professional female. For fun I enjoy relaxing, reading and watching Netflix. I love travelling and I am interested in exploring Canberra and the surrounding areas. Happy to live with pets. Move-in date is flexible as long at it's before 19 February.
I am willing to chip in to all household chores and can whip up some pretty good meals and would be happy to cook sometimes for my housemates. Im a nurse coming to live in act to attend university commencing 13th of feb. Im looking for an initial place to live whilst settling into uni. There is the possibility of going back to sydney in 3 months hence looking for only 3 months atm but may need to extend this depending on whether i stay in canberra or not
Hi, I'm Sabrina, sent to Canberra by my company and having been in here for 2 months. I'm fun and laid-back, enjoying food and binge-watching movies. I work full-time but would also love to socialize!
Hi all, I'm a teacher who's recently returned to post-grad study, and I will be moving to Canberra to make the most of the benefits of being on-campus. I'm very easy-going and happy to do my own thing but also don't mind a chat in the evenings. I've been living in sharehouses for the past 10 years in Sydney and am very adaptable, clean, tidy and considerate of others' personal space. I love to cook, grow veges, read and watch netflix. I also love riding my bike, bushwalking, sailing, making a fool of myself at beginner dance classes and generally getting out and about. I have lots of kitchen appliances, but not much furniture. Looking for an easy-going household with people who like their own space but are also happy to hang out every now and then.
I'm currently from Sydney, planning to move to Canberra to study Medical Science at UC. I am a pretty genuine person who can get along with a lot of different people and respect others. I am also a quiet, clean and organised person in general, looking to meet new people who I can spend my time in Canberra with.
Jermaine, looking for a place to call home with some people that I would like to eventually call friends! I work Full time, Mon-Fri! Play Rugby union, guitar and just love listening to all types of music! Easy going, keen for a laugh. But also respect others space!
Extremely tidy and clean, easygoing, quiet, not into partying at home, friendly, like to cook. Carpenter, have lived in Canberra all my life. Like watching movies, gym, keeping fit, being with friends
I'm 19 and have just moved from Perth a month ago. I have a job in franklin. I don't drink or smoke, I'm pretty quiet so I'll probably spend most of my time in my room, at work or I'm happy for a bit of socializing as well of course. I do need a room that is able to comfortably fit a queen size bed frame, but apart from that I'm pretty open to seeing my options. Look forward to hearing from you! :)
Im from batemans bay, enjoy most sport especially riding and boarding, just finished year 12 and am starting an apprenticeship. I feel it matters more about who im staying with rather than the actual place itself.
I'm a quiet, clean, respectful and somewhat solitary person. I enjoy peace, quiet and relaxation most of all; stress being my primary anathema, studiously ignored wherever possible. A majority of my free time is spent in solitary activities, I greatly enjoy music, motorcycles, travel, the outdoors and reading. Currently I am saving to combine these in a year long tour of southeast Asia.
What makes me great to live with? I'd hardly be there! I play netball and tennis weekly, I also enjoy watching sports. If I'm not playing or watching sports, my head is normally in a book, swimming or catching up with friends. I like to keep busy and have a good laugh! I also know how to respect people's privacy, keep a clean place, cook and how to talk underwater.
Need to have a place where can stay to work and have my study. I am a Nigerian and i am a social type when needed. I am able to pay my rent as at when due. A happy young guy.
Hello, My name is Jinliang Ren. I am a Chinese student and study foundation for physics; i have been in Canberra for two months. I want to find a native speaker as a roommate, because I need to practice my speaking English from time to time. I want to find a place close to ANU. My life style is pretty regular. I usually sleep at 11:00 p.m. at the weekdays, but I won't make any noise. I hate to bother my roommate with noise. In the morning, I go to school before 7:00 a.m. On the weekend, so far, i just stay in my room in the homestay, because i am afraid to stay in living room when there are many people. Therefore, i want to live with no more than 2 people. I do not have many own furniture, so i want to have a simply furnitured room. I usually take shower at night one~half an hour before going to bed. I can not and also do not have time to cook, so i usually eat outside. I want to have dinner with my roommate, because it is the only time i have to talk with you or them. I like play soccer and table tennis. I play some video games, but usually i study my course or watch TV series on my computer. I'd love to talk with you about my detail face to face, because i do not know how express some of them.
I'm a fourth year uni student in Canberra (though I'm overseas on exchange until mid-January, hence the Taiwanese phone number), studying Chinese and Science. I'm tidy and pretty quiet, though I'm always up for a chat over a cup of tea. I'm looking for a tidy, friendly household (if you've got any cooking/cleaning rosters I'm keen to join). I love pets and I'd help walk dogs if you have them.
Easy going, active public servant looking for short-term accommodation to June/July before heading overseas on posting. House trained and will provide wine and cheese.
Masters student at ANU (International Relations), looking for accommodation for at least 6 months but could be more as it depends on when my wife and son arrive in Canberra later in the year. I will then look to move out at that point. Happy to live with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds but I'll probably spend most of my time either in my room or out of the house at uni given my studies. I'll most likely come out of hibernation on the weekends and to try and get to the gym or somewhere with fresh air every couple of days. I understand there are hiking trails near ANU? I've been known to get excitable and shout (various things) at the TV when the All Blacks are playing. However, this year I will do my best to maintain decorum. The suburbs that I've listed are just a representative sample. I don't actually mind living in most places in Canberra as I understand it isn't all that far from anywhere else in Canberra.
