Hey! My name is Winsome and I am the housemate you are looking for! I currently live in Brisbane and am moving to Canberra from January to the end of March, possibly into April to complete an internship. I will be working 5 days a week and am looking for accommodation that is close to Civic. I am studying Peace and Conflict Analysis at the University of Queensland. Right now I'm living with 4 other girls in a sharehouse where I share all communal spaces and a bathroom. I am clean and tidy, always down for a chat, a movie, or some dinner, but also like to hang out in my room and watch Netflix. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello I am a Student teacher studying at University of Canberra and working in childcare part time. Am looking for a room on the north side of Canberra. Would love to have some chill and respecting housemates who like to chat just like me.
Hello I'm Jem! I'm quiet, honest, easy to talk to and very respectful. I also absolutely love meeting new people! I have a friendly calm 6 y.o cat who does his own thing, has never attacked scratched or bitten anyone ever, however he does not get along with other animals at all. I know how to take care of myself and how to take care of a home, I have lived by myself for 2 years and out of home since I was 17, I am very clean and tidy and always willing to chip in with anything that needs to be done. I enjoy creative things, I love gardening reading writing hiking and drawing but also love to binge watch Netflix or weird documentaries with a cheeky glass of wine. I don't party I just want a nice place to call my own so I can work hard. I have all my own furniture and appliances so unfurnished is fine or I'm happy to bring along anything that might be needed Im in the process of looking at a few 2-3 bedroom properties through real estates, I have some inspections coming up and if any of you are interesting in teaming up then just message me and you are welcome to come along I do smoke occasionally but am in no way a heavy smoker, I might have one every few days and am on my way to quitting completely Feel free to message me any time :)
My brother Leigh (19), and I are moving to Canberra from Kalgoorlie in WA for work/an adventure. We both have jobs lined up and I will also be looking for a nursing job as I’ve just graduated from my degree. We are requiring a large enough room to share/two separate bedrooms in either an existing share house or to team up with others and form one. Our budget is approximately $170 each. We have one vehicle that we will be needing to park somewhere. Preferably the room(s) would be furnished however we can arrange minimal furniture if not. Our length of stay is undecided at the moment however it’ll be a minimum of 3 months. I intend on staying for around 6 months but there’s a small chance Leigh will go back to WA earlier. The two of us are social and would like to live somewhere we can get on well with our housemates. We enjoy training in the gym, cooking food, outdoorsy stuff and an occasional drink. We will however be working full time and no doubt will like some peace and quiet from time to time. After staying at our Mum’s house you can rest assured we are well trained in regards to cleanliness.
I'm a full-time student from Melbourne studying at the ANU. Currently about to start my fifth year and working part-time as an educator. I'm also a part-time french teacher, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, swimming and reading in my spare time.

Hi, I’m Zoe. I’m a quiet, nice country girl starting a diploma of screen and media in early Feb at CMA training. I’m tidy, respectful and know how to live independently as I went to a country boarding school for six years. I like a good scotch on nights out, I love movies and playing/watching sport. Rent is guaranteed as my parents are paying for it. Looking forward to starting my life in Canberra and making close friendships with my new flat mates.
Hi there! I’m working full time a medical receptionist as well as doing bar work on weekend, I’m constantly busy at work or socialising with family and friends. I also love to be active and go to the gym in any spare time that I have left! I’m a very tidy person and easy to get along with, I love to hang out as well as have alone time in my room. Waiting to either team up with some people and get a house or move into somewhere :) I would preferred to have my own bathroom as well. Message me if you are interested in teaming up or have a spare room available! Thanks guys

We are a Filipino couple. We are on a working visa. Working as a full-time Glazier and Part-time housekeeper. We are looking for a place to stay for more than 2 years until we get our own mortgage. Our 7 year old daughter will be living with us in 3 months from the Philippines. So we need a place for our small family. We are quiet and very tidy people. We lived in Giralang for a year now. We just want to move out from our share house because daughter will move in soon.
Hi, We are looking for a new house to move into as our current landlord is selling their property. We are tidy and respectful tenants. We have a dog (German Shephard) and a cat (Burmese indoor cat).
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and working out. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.

I am a 31yo professional who enjoys cooking and reading. Personally I am an introspective quiet individual who would rather a meal with friends than a night at the club's. I love a ride around the lake some laps in a pool and some cheeky games on the side.
Hello, we are a young couple looking for a flat were we have an easy commute to work and can also chill with our cat. We are both currently employed in the pet industry, me as a vet nurse and Sam as an assistant store manager in a pet shop. We own one cat, a very laid back, 10 year old, British Short Hair called Pushkin. She is fully vaccinated, up to date on flea and worming, and is strictly an indoor only cat. The reason we are moving out of our current flat is we don't have a kitchen, and we want to improve our lifestyles by cooking more. We are both into music but our instruments are practiced quietly so not to disturb anyone. We are quiet people and often work long hours, but we are also happy to have a chat if we run into you. We are preferably looking for a small flat (with a kitchen!), but we are also happy to share a house if the people are right. If you have anymore questions please let us know!
Friedly construction worker currently in canberra from Perth looking for a furnished room from 30th Jan. Non smoker, dont do drugs, social drinker. Work long hours and most weekends Clean and respectful
I have been living in Canberra for ten months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint dysplasia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
I am an American working on my PhD at UC studying the evolutionary ecology of reptiles. I thoroughly enjoy being outside but also sitting around watching tv or reading. I love to cook and keep things tidy. I enjoy quiet nights in having a beer or glass of wine. Ideally I'm looking for a stable housing situation. I have to be away for periods of time for field work, but would like to have a home base in Canberra.
Looking for a house/room for the next 6 months as a minimum, with potential for ongoing/permanency if it's the right mix/set-up. About me: I'm starting a new job as a Physio in March, and moving up from Melbourne. I don't take life to seriously, happy to have chats and build a friendly rapport with fellow housemates. Am respectful of others lifestyles and preferences. Like to keep things neat and tidy, and am approachable, so if i'm doing anything annoying just let me know! Otherwise, working, staying active, riding mountain bikes are my main ventures. Looking to move in anytime in March, flexible with start dates. Shoot me a message if you're keen to tee something up. Cheers !
I'm currrently a full time Uni student, so spend most of my days studying or watching Netflix. I work at a cafe in Woden called Expresso Room. I like to make music or hang with friends for fun. I'm looking for a share house with other uni students, although I'm not opposed to non-uni students.
Very tidy and hygienic. Looking for 6-12 months rental or longer. I work a lot and I’m studying equine management so I love animals. Happy to make dinners, have a chat and be social but also respect privacy and space.
Hi there! 32 year old Newcastle native who has been in Canberra since 2015. I currently work 4 days a week at the Department of Health. Have lived in share houses/flats since then and am a neat, reliable housemate. I train most days of the week as a sprinter and like to keep active. I mostly keep to myself but also enjoy a chat, attending sporting events and board games. Looking for a room in a chill environment for 9-12 months while I purchase my own property.
