I'm a 25 year old male nurse with a job in Bronte -- I have my own care and am looking for somewhere to live ASAP.
Heya, I'm Stacey. Originally from the South Coast, currently studying a Masters degree at UTS in health. During the week I'm usually at uni or studying, and work on weekends. I enjoy relaxing at home with a good book, watching movies, socialising with friends and family, laughing and love desserts any time of the day. I am reliable and a clean freak, ideally looking for a home, not just a house (close to public transport would be fabulous).
Here's pretty much what you need to know about me: I'm a dude who works and goes to school often, so the only time you'll probably see me is when I'm using the microwave at three in the morning. (Jokes. I'm actually pretty quiet.) I like to play music and have really gotten into Simpsonswave recently. I'm going to hog the washing machine and do laundry often. Gotta smell fresh. Plus, I make a mean meatloaf. Also, I suppose I should mention that I'm from Canada's Mexico. Contact me for more info??
Hi there, I am looking for someone who would like to combine with me to share a lovely 4 bedroom house anywhere in the Inner West, allowing us each to have our own bedroom and our own work space. I am a hypnotherapist and tarot reader who has been running home practices since 2006. I’m looking for someone who would like to share a house where you could work from home, either as a therapist, practitioner, sole-trader or even student. Together, we could look for the right house that works for us both and move in somewhere over April or May. I was thinking of rent between $350-$450 each and of taking a 12 month lease. We would share the usual rental costs and living expenses and we could also unite on business costs if you're interested. This could suit any form of self-employed person who wants a combined home and work space. If this sounds like something you may be interested in, please send me a message. I’d love to chat! Thanks :-)
Hi all, I'm looking for a (long-term) room to rent in the Inner West! I can afford about $200 + bills. I like to keep things tidy and am always keen to pitch in with work. I'm laid back and sociable; always keen to crack a beer and chat, but also respectful of personal space. I work from home in web development. I cook (usually vegetarian, but anything goes). I like going to shows (love music) and watching campy horror movies. Thanks!
I am a very social person when it comes to majority of social interactions. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things as much as possible. I am currently enrolling to study Spanish. I am of Polish background but born in Australia. I have a very tidy state of mind which urges me to neaten things up which I would imagine is a perk. I have a stable job in Mascot as a BARISTA.
Hey, I am Beenish and you can call me Ben. I am partially from Pakistan and partially from north India, so have the combination of both countries. I am a Software developer by profession. Ah, i got my PR of Australia and it's time for me to move to take the new challenges ahead. I would be coming to Sydney by end of March. I am currently not in Sydney and would by reaching 31st March. I am looking for either a studio or a private furnished room with ensuite bathroom. I am a fan of Indian cuisine so looking forward for a place with lots of Asian food options. I am a goal oriented person and love to achieve in my life. On other hand, i am extremely down to earth and humble. I am initially looking for the place for 2 months, but it can be extended, if i like the place and we gel up well. Ah!! I am a person who love to live among people. I love to be among people who are like minded, down to earth, genuine and empathetic. I am a good conversationist and extremely easy to become friends with. My passion is traveling and discovering new places. I am a good singer as well ;^). I am extremely clean and tidy and always willing to land a hand in order to do any kind of errands. I am a fitness lover. I don't smoke or take Alcohol. I totally believe, it's injurious to health, so would prefer an environment which is free from it. I am a good badminton player. I love to watch movies in a group specially over weekends. I give and respect privacy extremely. I am also interested to team up. If you think, that suit's somehow the preferences, please feel free to contact me and let's see how it moves forward.

My week various - I'm a freelancer who is either working from home or out shooting on location most of the time. I've lived in Sydney all my life but am currently in Bangkok for work and keen to move into a new home ASAP upon my return on 27th April I clean up after myself and is happy to share the household chores. My name is Terry, a Viet, and an intern pharmacist. I've recently moved to Sydney from Brissy to start a new job at a pharmacy in Croydon Park. I'm at work on most weekdays (9.30-7) and on Sunday as well, then gym afterwards. On my days off, I would be either at the gym or in the city. Looking for a private room, preferably with my own bathroom, but I don't mind sharing either, with internet and bills included. When I'm not working, I like to explore restaurants and bars with friends, try out new recipes at home, or get lost in a good book. Looking for housemates who are keen to catch up over a drink every now and then, but also respect the need for privacy. Look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi, we are an engaged couple Brian & Hannah. We are Australian-Vietnamese. We are 29 yr old, professionals but recently decided to study full time. My fiance Brian is studying Paramedicine at the University of Tasmania and I am doing Fashion Design at Whitehouse Institute of Design. We both have part time jobs on the weekend. We have 2 beautiful little Shitzus, one boy named Tee and a girl Matilda. They are very sweet, smart and super house trained/ toilet trained. Everyone finds it easy to fall in love with them at first sight. We love them so much so we must bring them with us wherever we go. They are our babies! s We have our own house in Abbotsbury but unfortunately, our place is too far from uni. I travel almost 4 hours door to door return trip everyday by public transport and Brian drives 1.5 hours to get to his uni and work. It really drains us out so we are looking for a big room for us or a granny flat, or one bedroom flat/house for us and our pups to stay until we finish our study. However, if we love the place so much, we will stay as long as we can because it will be also convenient for us to work after we graduate. We are very clean, reliable, tidy and friendly people. We love to make new friends, although we don't go out a lot but we do love hanging out with people when we have time. We are looking forward to meeting you :) Thank you so much xx
Hi I am moving to Sydney for full time employment. I am a non-smoker, who is quiet but friendly. I am easy to get along with and enjoy a quiet beer on the weekends. I need to find accomodation "quickly" near the Ashfield.
Hi my name is Xavier I am a Taiwanese I am taking working holiday visa and I want to live with Australian and learn Australian culture, but I do not have enough money to rent good house because these houses price in Australia is too expensive for me, If you want to learn standard Chinese language (traditional) and understand Taiwanese cultures, I would like to tell you. Thank you
I'm 24 and I work full time; moving to Sydney in April for work for a minimum of 1.5 years. I'm a VERY tidy person, who wants to move in with like-minded people of a similar age. I currently run a warehouse shift in Melbourne, but will be moving to Head Office in Sydney for three six-month rotations for my graduate program. I will be working the usual 9-5 during my time in Sydney, and that means I'll be unwinding most weeknights. Love a night out and getting stupid on the weekends, but that's few and far between - I'm down for clubbing but prefer drinks at a bar or a chill night of BBQ and drinks at home. I'll always be down to socialise with roommates, but I do like my own time to myself too. I also have a miniature dachshund called Obie who's housetrained, but makes the odd mistake here and there. I will be trying my hardest to find accomodation to suit, but family are more than willing to take him in if I can't find a suitable home. I have all necessary furniture and can bring a 50" TV with a wii and an xbox to sweeten the deal.
Hi there! Thanks for reading. My name is Mitchell, I'm 22. Im currently looking for a place to move into and out of my current. Im looking to team up with someone or a place to live. Ideally im looking to live with one, MAXIMUM 2 other people. I currently work full time. I'm very easy to have a conversation with but at the same time i respect peoples private space. I enjoy simple things, hikes, events, games and entertainment, podcasts etc etc... I workout 3-4 days a week when i can. I cook roughly 3-4 days a week but always clean (Not a kitchen hog) I don't have a pet. I don't party but im not a bore, i do enjoy an occasional drink here and there when it suits :) If your interested in teaming up, let me know and we can arrange something! If you have a place for rent feel free to send me your listing! Mitch
Looking for a place within 10 mins from a train station.I have just crossed 30 and working fulltime in the construction industry.I prefer quiet weekends and a serene vibe over a busy weekend. I enjoy going for a walk out in the open and relaxing with couple of beers.I dont like to cook so i prefer take aways or frozen food.I am always ready for going out for a nice meal in that sense.I like to keep my house/flat clean and not messy. Its just easier that way.
HI there! My name is Karena, and I am a 34 year old female looking to live in the inner west of Sydney. I am currently in job hunting mode, as I have come back from travelling and am settling back into the real world! I am a responsible, fun and considerate person who cleans up after themselves! I believe in a good balance between personal time and hangout time with flat mates, and so I don't get all offended if you just want to read in your room sometimes. I have excellent references that I can provide, and have lots of interests. I love dancing, theatre, animals, sustainability, gardening, chats over wine and dinner. I am a non-smoker, I lean to the left and am queer friendly! All the best, Karena
Hi, I am Danny. I am 33 years old and single male. I am an accountant. I work full-time near the city. I am looking for an accommodation all for myself or TEAM-UP/SHARE near city. Any train station and a gym at a walking distance are a MUST. I have a notice period of 3 weeks at my current accommodation which I will execute once I have found somewhere to move into. :) I like cleanliness around the house. I am a very easy going person. I am usually on the go at the weekends which would include going to a pub/club/restaurant or a meetup, playing pool, staying out the whole night or just stay at home and read a book or watch YouTube videos or a movie or marathon of any sitcom with a pizza and beer or whatever the mood is... I go well with people from all backgrounds. I respect privacy but also like to have a good chat (who doesn't?) and keen on doing joint activities with my roommate(s) like barbecue, groceries, shopping, gym, movies, sports or whatever they like. I am always open to doing new things. I have a new found love in karaoke lol. Not sure how long it will last before I hop onto some other interesting activity. I am very punctual about paying my rent and would want a roommate (in case sharing the rent) who always pays the rent on time. I am not looking for just another human being living in the same house who I barely talk to, unless they have a touring job or something that keeps them out for productive reasons. I look forward do build friendship with the people I live with. I am a vegetarian (not a vegan). I cook (not bad actually), and I love to cook for others too as long as it does not involve meat. I make my own cheese. :) I have no problem whatsoever if you eat meats. I do have problem with the smell of some sea foods though, like dried prawns. I volunteer with a food charity. Food is my passion. IMPORTANT: I have a queen size bed, an entertainment unit, a buffet table, a coffee table, a six seat dining table without chairs (BYO chairs, LOL), a 3+2 (recliner) lounge, a 3 door (385 Ltr) fridge, a big ass 65" 4K TV, home theater and a microwave, all of which I am happy to share. I do not have a washing machine. Depending on the rent and space I am happy to move some of my non electronic gear to a storage. I have a large sedan so would need some sort of parking. I do not have any pets. I love dogs. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Danny
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
Hi, My name is Nadia and I am an easy going Polish girl in her 20's who is looking for a friendly house to move in. I will be studding fine arts full-time and working part-time. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past years. I get along very well with all kinds of people, and I am always respecting house rules. I am also a huge movie buff, who enjoys good live music in my free time. I am able to move in from the 8th of February. Looking forward to hearing from you, Nadia
Hey Guys! So I'm not really sure what write here but hopefully you will get a a good overview of my current life situation :) so here we go haha My name is Victoria, I'm 22 years old and I am currently studying a bachelor of design with my major in fashion marketing. When I'm not at uni or studying at home most likely I'm at work, I work part-time (15-20 hrs/w) at David Jones Online in the city which is great :) In my free time I like to catch up with my friends and family either for dinner during the week or out for a couple of drinks on the weekend (depending on my schedule). In all honesty, I'm not much of a club person but I do like to socialize over drinks or food (like who wouldn't want to over food, lets be honest here), meeting new people and making new friends :) I'm pretty chilled out and quiet when I'm home, basically because I see a home as a relaxation haven rather than a party house. I appreciate quiet and serenity especially during busy periods in the year. Like everyone else sometimes I enjoy being alone and I respect other who need the same space as well so I am looking for a home that appreciate the same above all else :) Overall, I love a good chat, good food, nice drinks, me time and puppies :) (if you have any puppies please take me in, thank you ) I hope you guys find this useful and adopt me as one of your own haha Xx Vic
I am a young professional who will begin employment with the NSW Government in mid-February. I have experience in house-sharing (have lived in a shared apartment since 2013) and am friendly, clean and easy-going. I don't have any particular preferences about the property, just a private room. Looking for housemates that are respectful of personal space but are up for a chat and the odd sharing of meals! I dont smoke and am pet friendly! During the week I am pretty much just at work/hanging out at home in the evenings and on the weekend I love getting out and exploring the city, going to the beach, shopping, and all that good stuff. A parking space/on street parking would be great, but by no means a pre-requisite!

I'm a quiet law student who works part time in the city as a paralegal and as a private HSC math tutor. My girlfriend is coming over for a short holiday in Australia during my university break and we're looking for a place where our privacy can be respected. Having said that, a granny flat or studio will be our priority but should we fail to find those accommodation types, we're open for a private room in a shared house. We both do not smoke or drink. We wouldn't come back at late hours. We don't have any pets. I enjoy cleaning my area occasionally so you can be rest assured that your premise/room will stay cleaned at all times. Location doesn't necessarily matter, I've just listed a couple that I prefer as I used to live in Burwood, 2134 some years back.
I'm a final year med student- I'll tell you if you should go to the hospital. I'm vegetarian- I won't try to convert you if you're not. I like to admire attractive male English actors and fangirl over marvel movies and the new One Piece. I have a lot of stuffed toys that you can admire from a distance. I like cats. I don't have any. I like to bake. A lot. And I'll feed you.

Anyway, I'll always be willing to try to adjust to my surroundings and to the people I'm with. Thank you! ❤️

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a place somewhere in the inner west/central Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to move around May or June and I would be interested in teaming up or moving to an available room. I finished my social work degree about 2 years ago and I've been working in the homelessness sector since then. I've shared places before, but I'm currently living alone in my own apartment. I'm now looking to return to study to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminology which means my income is going to skydive, so I'm keen to share again! I'll still be working as well though, so don't worry - I can pay rent hahaha. I'm pretty relaxed about things and don't mind loud music or friends coming over. Im happy to move to a party house, quiet house, creative house... whatever, im adaptable, as long as I can get my privacy too. I can become a bit of a hermit, but definitely enjoy a board games night or a few drinks. I'm vegan - I don't care what you eat at all, get the BBQ out! But if you want to share any meals... I only eat da veggies. I really like The Office (and other shows), I have a bicycle, I love cooking and I really like learning.
I am a 32 year old female. I am easy to get along with. I enjoy a good laugh with friends and also enjoy my privacy. I am very reliable with rent. I am very organised and will keep the house very neat and clean. Prefer to live with females. Also would prefer a place with my own bathroom and don't wanna live with someone who nags me all the time. I would prefer a granny flat but will be open to moving in a flat with just another flatmate.
I am a mid twenties professional who has just moved from Adelaide to Sydney for work. A friend of mine from Sydney is also moving here shortly for work! So we are keeping our eyes open for somewhere with 2 bedrooms available. My friend Camille and I are both clean and friendly, non-smokers, looking for a sharehouse within about 30ish minutes of the city. I enjoy movies, theatre and board games and am looking forward to exploring the city. I have my own bedroom furniture and a car but street parking is fine. Camille won't have furniture but can get her own if she needs to. Looking to find something pretty soon for the long term because nobody likes moving!
Hi we're four girls looking for a house/flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for a year. We are students here, doing our post graduation. We keep the place clean and are accommodative. The accomodation should preferably be near the train station ( max walk of 12 mins ). Please message if you have a suitable furnished place with bills included in the rent. Thank you :)
Carlos and I (Kelly) are both students at Sydney Uni, studying architecture and physiotherapy. A lot of the time, we spend our time studying or working, but we are easy to get along with and don't mind having a bit of a chat - we'd even love to share a meal once in a while! Carlos is from Mexico and I am from Melbourne, so we are both relatively new to Sydney and keen to explore and know the city a bit more. We're both morning coffee drinkers - be prepared! Ideally we would like to find something for 6 months initially but would also consider 12 months. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey dudes, my name's René. I'm 23 which is old as for a student these days. I'm starting my masters in Sydney this year, and this particular flavour of masters focuses on radiation physics in medical context. So like cancer treatment, imaging technology and whatnot. I been out of uni two years now, did the BSc at the University of Auckland and finished up there end of 2014. Since then I've worked a number of different jobs saving those coins. So that's sorta where I'm coming from on the academic side of things. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A few cheeky beers every now and then doesn't go amiss though. I'll probably be out of the house most of the time I guess, between coursework and sporting commitments, some kind of employment and whatever other social opportunities crop up. So if unobtrusive flatmates are your thing I'm your guy. My sport of choice is weightlifting so I got decent at cooking since one of the things we in the community like to do is eat a lot. One-pot wonders are a specialty and a couple of them I have whittled down to an art form. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary!
Works full time in North Sydney. Looking for a place to rest after a long day's work. Clean, neat and easy to live with. On Friday evening's I escape Sydney and spends the weekend in Canberra.
hey :) im just out of uni at unsw and currently living in Wollongong. I just started a new job in banking and im looking for a place in the concord west area or near the train line so I don't have to commute all the time(it sucks). im fairly social and easy going, I don't mind either hanging out after work or leaving people to their own space if they want it. Im also partial to the occasional beer or 2 if that's something you're into id love to share a few after a hard day. I respect common areas and clean up after myself. Im also quiet when I can be, I don't want to disturb anyone. in terms of hobbies I like watching movies/Netflix, playing sport (soccer/basketball) and listening to music. Im not sure how long ill be working out here but its likely itll be 1 or 2 or more years depending how I like it.
