100% local, born and raised in Sydney. I'm organised and pay on time, friendly, respect privacy but love to have a chat to get to know people better, willing to share workload around the house, and I always wash my dishes straight after eating... I'm actually a bit of a clean freak :P I've lived by myself for extended periods multiple times, and I've only broken 2 plates in my entire life. I love quiet nights in and just working on my online business at the moment, and I go to the gym at least 3 times a week. I prefer a peaceful and quiet place with no distractions so I can focus on my work. My work relies heavily on the internet so need a place with a constant and stable connection. Things I like to do when inspecting a new place: 1. Meet the roomates I'll be living with, I prefer people who are understanding and are able to respect people's privacy, and are super positive people! :) 2. Inspect the internet connection as my work relies heavily on a stable and fast connection 3. The bedroom needs to be very quiet as I will be taking a lot of phone calls between 7am and 7pm weekdays. 4. My routine is 5am-11pm, most of the time I'll be working 5. Set expectations right from the beginning PS. I have a pressure cooker and I use the microwave, that's all I use to cook.
I like to keep fit with boxing, kickboxing, martial arts. I like to eat good healthy food and am clean and well presented. I enjoy a good discussion and am looking for a private room close to Five Dock or Haberfield.
I consider myself a cleanly and pleasant person, more quiet than not. I'm an 18 year old part time full time employee and I enjoy art and music, as well as a variety of other creative media's. I don't mind loud music of the afternoons every now and then and enjoy quiet ones, I really like tea and books. I'm not too sure what to put here, but asides from that I do my best to make sure I'm out of the way of other people in the house and keep up with my part of the work. I'm moving from Canberra to Sydney for study and will be looking to enroll once I have established a place to stay. I have a guaranteed part-time/full-time job on arrival.
Working in Sydney on the North Connex tunnel project. I am an Electrician and will be working on a 3 week on 1 week off roster travelling from Brisbane. I will be at work 6 days a week. I only require a private room and access to cooking and laundry facilities. I will be receiving a living away from home allowance and would also be able to pay for utilities if needed. I am a married family man and am looking at a month to month open lease dependant upon project requirements. I consider myself honest, clean and quiet, and am willing to help out with household chores and general up keep on the property.
Hiya! I'm from New Zealand and just recently finished high school and looking to try something a bit different for my gap year - moving to Sydney. I'm super chatty but I can also keep to myself. I also like to sew and make art.
My girlfriend, Mandy, and I are looking for a room to last us until April 2019, before she deserts me to live in Japan. We're good hearted, decent individuals. No riff-raff here. Note: Turkey in photo is not Mandy.
Im 28 year old, easy going, clean and lived in house shares before so know how to respect people and there privacy. I'm moving to sydney for a construction project so that will take up most of my time. Estimated to go until April but will probably extend past that.
Full time working professional manager involved in the events and hospitality industry. I am also a chef and horticulturist. Very easy to get along with and lived in many harmonious share houses all around the world. Clean, tidy, respectful, thoughtful, pleasant, easy going, understanding, social, but can also be private and quiet, and drama free. Relocating to Sydney from Brisbane for work purposes on a minimum 12 month contract. I am searching for my own private room in a nice share house with nice people, ideally within 20 or so kilometers of Sydney Olympic Park/Homebush, available to move in sometime in December 2018. Will also require a spot to park my car, either on or off the street. I like music and the arts, travel, skiing, keeping active, good coffee and good food.
Friendly, neat and tidy local Aussie guy who recently moved to Sydney from the south coast. Enjoys a chat but will also respect your peace and quiet. Just started work in Ashfield. I enjoy most sports, board games, conversation and helping around the house.
Not moving for a while - maybe towards end of Jan/early Feb! Currently going for a double degree in graphic design + programming, I like reading and games and doing peaceful stuff in silence. Just started a paid internship w/ a software company in the city :) I'm private & mind my own business (unless you don't want me to) Not really a neat freak, but not disgusting either. Vegan - prefer other vegans, vegetarians or respectful omnivores ;) Cooking's a major hobby of mine !!! You're in luck!!! I co-parent my younger sibs a couple days a week - we can work out a deal for which days suit you :)
I have been working in the helping profession for 12yrs now. I’m a non-smoker who is tidy and pays rent on time. Being an animal lover, I’m also happy to help out with any cat/dog flatmates :) I enjoy a home that is peaceful, clean and quiet but also don’t mind the occasional house party and will definitely respect homeowners who need privacy and quiet time.
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING. We are a GROUP OF 5, all first/second year university students/working part time, who are looking for a place with 3 bedrooms to move into as of December-January. We will all be studying full time, at UNSW, Macquarie, and USYD, as well as working. We are quiet, tidy, all non smokers, and we don't own any pets. Our max budget is $800 per week for all 3 bedrooms, and having the bills/internet included in the price would be really great! Somewhere with basic furnishings such as a fridge, a washing machine, and beds would also be ideal. Please don't hesitate to contact me for any information, or if you would like to look at our social media accounts to check us out! :)
My name is Paul and I'm moving to Sydney next week to work on the tunnel project and would like a room in your area as soon as possible. I'm moving to Sydney to work long hours and hopefully save some money. I'm a considerate flatmate who would be happy to help out with house chores. regards Paul
Felipe, 31, Male Full time Graphic Designer; Looking forward for a clean, and nice single place which I could call home. Responsible, easy going, clean & pet friendly. I am moving up to Sydney from Melbourne for a full-time job. I will be moving up to Sydney around 5th of February 2019 and have put up an early listing to see if anything might be available during that time. I am friendly and easy-going, but I also am respectful of other's privacy and personal space. I am tidy and clean, and also very well organised. * I am open to various suburbs that are within 30km of the CBD.
Hello Everyone! Originally from Wagga, I moved to Sydney to study engineering and I have been share housing in the Inner West for a few years now. Living within walking distance to a train station is ideal but not necessary. I like to cook and meal prep as well as clean my dishes! I am looking for a room to rent in a house that is relatively chill, I consider myself somewhat of an introvert and I value housemates that respect privacy and study time. When I am not busy with uni work, I'm more than happy to chill. I don't drink much (student budget) but I won't say no to a free beer!
Hiya! I'm Kristina 🌞 I am 24 and work full time. I am looking to move out and start a new adventure with roomies. I am a pretty quiet person, during the week I work / go to the gym / practice guitar / bachata / yoga. On the weekends I like to go to the beach or for adventures. I consider myself a very clean and organised person and respectful of privacy and others space. (I am also looking for an outside space where my succulents are welcome as I don't have pets I have plants) 🌿 I would like to live somewhere I feel comfortable with the person and in the space. I'm happy to leave you alone but ideally I believe living with someone you get along with and want to talk to is way better than silently avoiding each other. If you think I might be someone you want to live with feel free to message me! I am happy to meet up with you as physical interactions are much better than online interactions.☺️♥️
On top of being a domestic goddess and exquisite hot beverage-making skills, I come with close to a decade of share-housing experience! Originally from Southwest Victoria, formerly of Sydney’s Inner West and currently residing jn Geelong, I’m a 25-year-old freelance creative looking to relocate back to the Harbour City to pick up my career where I left it after an extended sabbatical. I like getting outdoors to do a lot of photography and sometimes staying in to sketch in my spare time - but I’m never against the odd meal, chat, drink and/or Netflix binge with housemates. Besides creative pursuits and being outdoorsy, I enjoy the odd video game (I come bonus with a PS4), quietly reading in the sun and come with enough general knowledge to make starting a house pub trivia team a practical benefit. If you think that’d I would be a welcome addition to your home, send me a message!
Exercise & eating healthily is a very important part of my life and therefore I am up early quite often. I enjoy cooking and nights in, just watching a movie or editing photos on my laptop. Travel and photography are two of my biggest passions. I am looking for an easy going friendly person. I like to be private and retire to my room, but I'm quite sociable and would enjoy a chat. I'm currently a Master's Degree student in Information and Communications Technology and would like to share the flat with either a student as well, or a young working professional.
Hi, my name is Maggie and I'm currently completing my MA in London. I'm moving back to Sydney in October to start working full time. I enjoy film, cooking, music and reading. I am quiet and respectful of those around me but easy to get along with. I am an easy going person and I can get along with most people. I'm looking for other neat and clean people but I'm not too picky about this sort of thing. As long as people are respectful, I am happy.
I'm a very chill, outgoing Aussie girl originally from Northern NSW. I work full-time Monday to Friday in Rhodes. Previously lived in student accommodation for 2 years, so I know the ins and outs of share houses. I love to socialise and have a few drinks at home or at a pub after a work week, I am also neat and tidy and respectful of peoples privacy and space. I love a bit of adventure so I can be quite busy with friends, trips to the beach or events etc. usually on weekends.
Hi there! I'm currently working full time at the Commonwealth Bank as an IT graduate, and have just moved up to Sydney for a new rotation opportunity. I'm pretty easy to get along with, and don't mind talking or keeping to myself. I don't drink or smoke, and insist on keeping clean and tidy. More than happy to help out and contribute to a household environment. I enjoy PC gaming, hanging out with friends, board games and the occasional long drive/road trip on weekends. Looking forward to getting out and about, and exploring what Sydney has to offer. I also play guitar - don't worry, I keep things quiet via headphones. You won't hear me practising :) I'm looking for a furnished place that's around 30mins from the city, within walking distance to public transport and has private parking available. Bonus points if it's a garage or secure carpark. My moving date is flexible.
