----------------- BREAKING NEWS: ----------------Remarkable housemate has been located on the Gold Coast. Read the story below. 17 August 2017 After a tumultuous effort by local residents over the last month, it appears they have collectively found the perfect housemate - and he’s here to stay. Gold Coast local, Zeph was discovered by Flatmates on Tuesday evening, in a last ditched effort to save local residents their sanity after searching endlessly to find their ideal home companion. We took the opportunity to speak with Mr Gibson, asking what he will bring to provincial householders: “No doubt you’ve discovered some bizarre and somewhat interesting fellow humans along your journey to roommate bliss. After renting out my own rooms on Flatmates for over three years, I truly understand the whole concept. What you will get: - Daily dose of intelligent conversation. - Unlimited fun and humourous banter, pun connoisseur. - A guy that beleives that if you can't eat off the toilet seat, then the house isn't clean enough. - A home owner of several properties over the years who understands how it feels to rent to strangers. - If you have a pet, it must be willing to be loved like Kanye loves Kanye. I've just recently sold my townhouse and am looking for a place for the interim until I find a new renovation project to buy. " As you can see this has been a phenomenal discovery and we’re excited to have shared this wonderful news with you. Don’t despair, this is a rare opportunity to attain one of the Gold Coasts’ best-kept secrets. Get in contact today
We are a newly married couple, with a sweet 2 year old boy Jasper and a 2 year old staffy named Lexi. We are clean, kind, easy going, non partiers. Jess has yoga teacher training on the Gold Coast so we thought we would all move up for 6 months as we spend the other 6 months in Canada. Our dog only barks if there's danger, she's not a yappy dog or aggressive she is a big sook. Jasper is a very social, happy little boy who adapts well to all situations. We like to travel, go camping, love being outdoors, hiking, walking, cooking, the beach etc
Hi! I'm Elena and I'm looking for a place for my boyfriend Marty and I. I'm Italian, he is Ozzie, 26 and 37 years old. We have been together for more than two years. I'm an artist and Marty is an entrepreneur. We are a easy going couple, we like sport, food, wine and nature. We are quiet, social and considerate. Both working evenings in hospitality industry and we like to go camping in our days off. I'm also going to start a tafe course 3 mornings a week. We like fishing, bicycle rides, road trips, cook and paddle board. We are looking for a friendly atmosphere, someone to have a bbq and few beers sometimes :)
Hello my future room mates! A little about myself; I'm a 21 year old female assistant nurse looking for a new house to call home, I'm currently working a lot in Brisbane so won't be home much. I'm a bit of a clean freak so a tidy house is a must. I do have a wonderful boyfriend so it would be great if he could stay over occasionally. What I'm looking for; Im looking for an easy going house hold that's also a bit quirky and fun. I'm not a party animal so would prefer a household that doesn't party every weekend. I don't do drugs or drink except special occasions and am trying to get into health and fitness so a house hold that is health conscious is a plus! Can't wait to meet my future roomies 😁
Quiet, mature and chilled.. still love to socialise and mingle, but mostly focused on my own things and having some space. Im very easy going, friendly, positive and flexible around others Ill be your calm and compassionate energy in the house
Hello, my name is Dario, I'm an Italian PhD full-time candidate at Griffith and I'm doing a project on surfing culture on the Gold Coast. I'm a clean, respectful and well educated person. I'm pretty active and I love doing sports. I'm quiet but I also love to socialize and going out on the weekend. Looking for the same kind of flatmate(s). Thank you
I'm a very chilled easy person to get along with. I work Monday to Friday and have uni so I'm pretty busy and keep to my self but don't mind a good chat over dinner. I'm pretty active and love to live a healthy life style. Im very clean and would like to live in a very tidy and clean house. I do have a dog.. boo boo my pug but if I am unable to have a pet I can leave him at my mothers house. I am a very reliable and respectful person and an easy person to get along with.
Just a young couple running a gardening business on the Gold Coast, looking for accomodation. Both very polite but quiet, always working (about 6-7 days a week) easy going cruisey couple.
I am going to study at the southern cross university. I speak German, English and bulgarian. I am a very tidy, open and outgoing person and I am interested in different cultures, traditions and languages. I would love to find a place to stay, where the people are nice and where I can improve my English. I love animals too.
My name is Kriselle and I am looking for a place to live in the Northern NSW or Southern Gold Coast region, for myself and my Companion Dog, Lila. I recently lost my home in the Northern Rivers floods so am keen to find a sanctuary and some stability as soon as possible. I am a quiet, clean and tidy person and Lila is my companion, so must come with me wherever I move to. If you have a spare room and have wanted a dog, but not wanted the responsibility or cost associated with one, please consider us. Lila will give you all the love in the world, while I will do everything associated with her care. Lila is well socialised, so would also enjoy the company of another dog if you already have one and are keen for it to have a playmate. Any property must be dog-secure. I can afford $150 per week and look forward to hearing from you.
Im a cleaner so the space I am in is always tidy.. Im open-minded and willing to work with people.. I say it how it is and if there is any issues I address them as they appear.. Im quiet, love my own company and easy to get along with.. I don't do drama as I believe it can all b dealt with maturely and respectful communication.. I have 2 school-aged girls in my care half of the week and every second weekend.. They are respectful and as quiet as kids can be lol.. We are local to Currumbin so love healthy living and paddle-boarding in my free time..
I like to keep everything clean, go out some weekends (when I have the chance to), I study Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University! I go to the gym quite frequently as I am recovering from a knee reconstruction. I am searching for another roommate as I want to find a house with a backyard because I am looking at buying a golden retriever to live with! :)
Like living in a clean house, cooking good food and dont like confrontations.
I'm real easy going, I have slight OSD so I'm a very clean person. I'm a bit shy at first but once you get to know me I'm a bit of a clown aha... I do smoke siggies, but I don't believe they should be smoked inside the house and I always use an ashtray. Over all I'm a pretty nice guy, I've just turned 20 and it's a struggle getting a rental, I pay my bills before I spend a cent... I'm pretty athletic an excercise a lot, so Between that and work I'm not around much, and when I'm around I keep to myself... there are two things I don't aprove of and that is eating my food without asking and I don't allow people in my room. 🙂
Hello! My name is Renae, I am 23 years of age, and I am currently looking to move somewhere close to Coolangatta, as I work part time and study occupational therapy within that area. I would love somewhere close to the beach, and I am interested in teaming up with others to go on a lease, or share house with others. I have been house sharing for 5 years, I am a clean and friendly housemate :) I am available to move as soon as it suits. Message me if you're interested or have an available room that may suit :) Thanks!
G'day! Born and raised in Portugal, just 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean coast, I've always felt better by the sea. I'm a big fan of all things Nature and outdoor sports. Cooking only for myself can be quite boring but I love it when there's more people around. I'd rather have a great meal at home than one at a fancy restaurant. Shall I put another shrimp on the barbie for you? :D I've graduated from a Bachelor in Tourism Management in 2010 and moved to Sweden straight after. I studied Swedish and did some part-time jobs the first year until I got admitted to a Master in Entrepreneurship at Lund University. I lived there for 2 years and started my own company, importing Portuguese wine to Sweden, which I still do up to now. During the 7 years that I've lived in Sweden I've also been working as a professional photographer and I'm part of a new brand of mens underwear called Charm My Snake, which is design in Sweden and made in Portugal. Other odd jobs I've done would be carpenter, painter, gardener, handy-man, Portuguese teacher and I've even written down addresses on thousands of envelopes once. All this to say, I'm a very easy going person, with no prejudices whatsoever. Now, 7 years after having arrived in Sweden, I feel that it is time for me to move on to my next adventure and start a new chapter in my life. I've been granted a Working Holiday Visa to Australia and I'll be landing in Sydney on the 20th of October. My plan at the moment is to spend a week or two in Sydney and then move to the Gold Coast where I'd love to spend at least a year. I'll most likely extend my visa a second year. I have a couple of friends living in Coolangata and Burleigh Heads so I'd love to find a room nearby as well. As I'm a big fan of the beach and ocean, the closer I can be to the coast, the better. Having a nice kitchen where to cook is also a big plus and as I rather cook for several people than just myself, it would be great that everyone in the house would have meals together most of the time. Having a barbie in the house would be the cherry on top of the cake! I'm into having a healthy lifestyle, surfing, photographing landscapes and people, going for walks on the beach, riding the bicycle and chasing sunsets. Best ending to the day would be hanging out with friends and drinking some good red wine, preferably on the beach. If you feel like we'd get along and are in need of a flatmate, feel free to send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you and see you soon in Australia! Straaaaaay! :) PS: You can check some of the places I've been on Instagram
Hey all my names matt and I just moved over here from Perth and currently looking for a room to rent on the goldcoast! Taking up surfing full time and may be doing casual work here and there. Super cruisy and easy going! Cheers
We are a really clean, tidy and easy going couple living in Australia for a year whom need to move out from our house in two week our flatmates (house owners) will get married in few months and they have bought a new place for them. However, we're looking any place from Burleigh Heads to Coolangatta to live for these next 4 months. We have to move out untill day 30th.
I'm a PT and science student. I'm hardly ever home and away often. I do have a little girl who I share custody with week on and week off who is a delight and also will be in daycare. Easy going and happy positive person.
I'm honest, respectful, reliable and a happy person... I work as an electrician. Early starts and long days generally so very quiet through the week. I love the ocean and surf when I can or otherwise playing golf . I'm never hanging around the house too much and like to be outdoors enjoying the day
Jack and I are both very quiet and busy people and would be super easy to live with. We are very easy going and enjoy spending most of our time outdoors, by the beach or watching netflix. We have a 5 year old miniature labradoodle named Lenny. Lenny is a beautifully well behaved dog and is a pleasure to have around the home. He is non-shedding and is 100% toilet trained and does not bark. Jack and I are very tidy people who respect the space and privacy of others. We are both working and studying so would spend little time at home.
Hey there, I'm Mitch 27. My lease is running out on the 30th of July. I'm currently living in Tugun and really love the area/ cooly, Kirra Balinga etc! I moved from Sydney in January with a few friends purely for a lifestyle choice and cheaper rent. I work full time and I'm often working away. In my spare time you'll find me surfing, outdoors or having a few drinks and socialising with friends. I'm easy going and respect my housemates. If you're looking for someone! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions Cheers ✌️
Hey, I'm Talicia! Currently working full-time as a speech pathologist. Pretty laid back, enjoy socialising but also like my own space and know others need theirs too. Not a big drinker but don't mind having a couple of bevs every now and then with friends after work or on the weekend. Try to stay active and like to keep things relatively tidy.
