Just moved to Sydney from Brisbane to take up a job with the TAB. Currently living out of AirBnb's so would love to find somewhere to live as soon as possible. Looking for friendly housemates and a nice home.
I am from Brazil and moved to Australia to improve my english skills. Also, I would like to get in contact with other cultures. To be easygoing, clean, sociable and polite are some of mine characteristics.
Hi! I've been living in Sydney since October/2015 and I want fix residence here but for that I need to do the EILTS exam. Then, I'm looking for a single room in a share house with people from different countries than mine where I can talk in English, I'm from Brazil. I'm easy going, tidy, clean and respectful. Thank you!
Hi there! I am currently looking for a new place to call home in the eastern suburbs and surrounding area. I'm a property professional that works in the CBD. I’m clean and tidy and not looking for a party house and keep a fairly low profile during the week. On weekends I like to be active and get away and go exploring. Look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi, I'm Danica. I am a kind and considerate person. I work full-time in the city, and studied Criminology and Criminal Justice. I enjoy listening to records, watching Netflix, travelling, playing board games, cats, drinking tea, and going running. I'd love to live in a sharehouse where everyone values each other's space, but also enjoys getting together every now and then for a drink or to hang out. I'm looking for a welcoming and friendly house where everyone is open-minded, with no homophobia or racism. My move date is pretty flexible. I hope to hear from you :)
Looking to move back into the city after spending the summer at home in Wollongong to study my second year of architecture at USYD. A little about myself: Aside from being at uni 2-4 days a week and working part time in Surry Hills, you'll probably find me out on a run, at the gym or at pilates (not as pretentious as it sounds, don't worry), visiting family and friends back home or exploring the city or the beach with some mates. This year I'll also be interning at an architecture firm over in Miller's Point, so I'm always on the move but love to come home to a bit of banter and a more chilled out vibe. If you're personable and mutually hate clutter, I'm sure we'll get along. I love a place with a bit of character and am happy to check out potential places over the summer so shoot me through a message if I sound like a good fit! * Looking for private room.
Hi, I just came from France for my work. M French / Tunisian, working in IT Industry. M quite flexible with the date of moving. M an easy-going, clean guy, very respectful of others.
We are both from England and are working in digital marketing. We are easy going, bubbly flatmates who enjoy being active and socialising throughout the week and on weekends. We are keen to make somewhere our home and want to live with other like minded clean flatmates. On weekends we will be mostly out enjoying the sites of Sydney.
We are a polite and rispectful Italian couple. We do not enjoy party house because between school and work when we go home we like to have a peaceful and resting place where we can cook a nice dinner and drink a glass of wine. Our prerogative of life is to live doing what we like to do without bother others and we're looking for the same in retourn. Of course we like to socialise and we are looking for people to share a house and create a little family =). Thank you! Gloria and Gabriele
Hello friends.. I'm Tim, over from England on a Working holiday visa. I'm looking to settle in Sydney for at least 4 months, somewhere not to far a travel from the city. I'm tidy, sociable and respectful of others spaces. Always up for a drink, a bit of live music and like to run regularly. Any questions about myself feel free to ask!
Hey! I'm Lollie. I just returned to Sydney after six years in Berlin. I work as a freelance journalist and I also write books. Don't worry, I don't work from home. That would drive me insane! I believe there is one thing that makes for a happy, healthy house share - consideration. For instance, just say I got home at 4 am on a Sunday morning. I wouldn't clunk up and down the hallway in big boots then blast Cold Chisel out really loud pretending to be Jimmy Barnes. No, I'd slip off my footwear and pad lightly down the hall. If I wanted to listen to music, I'd put on my headphones. I'm also tidy. I know if you cook, then you wash up. If the toilet roll is empty, you change it. If the bathroom is looking a bit iffy, then get out the Jiff. Same goes for doing the vacuuming. Simples. I'm also nice, easy to talk to, and like a good laugh. Wine optional.
We are a Swedish couple that are looking for work and adventure. We are easy going, tidy and will do our part around the house, and we would love to cook for the whole house once or twice!
My name's Sam and I'm working full-time as an executive concierge in the city. I have 2 cats and love a good movie. A bit of a neat freak when it comes to my own space and oddly enough I almost like doing dishes. Easy to get along with for pretty much anyone.
Hello hello, Journalism / photography student who has just moved to Sydney from Perth. Being new to the city I am looking to find a home preferably in the funky little hub of Newtown, Glebe or surrounding Inner West areas, however, happy to check out other areas if the housemates are troopers. I will be studying at UTS so would be looking for good transport links into the city, I also have Jerry the Jeep who will be looking for a space to park somewhere on the street. When I am not being a beach hooligan I enjoy watching art house films, checking out small music gigs, or just generally enjoying a vino or crafty beer at the house with friends/ other roommates. I have lived in many shared houses when I lived in London so know how to respect a home and people's space. Please get in touch if you have a room that you think suits, as I am looking to move ASAP. Thankyouuu, Annie
Friendly, easy-going, always up for a laugh, tidy/clean and respectable. Originally from the North of England and recently made the move to Sydney working full-time in digital marketing in CBD. Currently living in Manly but totally open to moving more into the city too, moving date is also flexible. Likes: spending time with friends, being outdoors and keeping fit (running, barre, Pilates), watching sport, travel, fashion/interiors, all kinds of music, bad jokes, good food and a good G&T or espresso martini. Looking to live with likeminded girls and guys who are social, like to have a laugh and can catch up over dinner or a drink but also appreciate me-time and respect each other's space too.
Hi there, my name is Dominique. I'm a 25 year old California native who moved to Sydney several months ago for work (and adventure)! I'm looking to meet new people, travel, and just generally enjoy my time here as much as I can. I work in Public Relations, specialising in enterprise technology, and typically work from 8:30am-5:30pm on weekdays. I love to run, read, and (I know this is embarrassing) dabble in some trash TV from time to time. I'm easygoing and up for going out just as much as I like to stay in. I'm seeking sociable flatmates who are open to both hanging out at home for some downtime or going out to grab a drink on occasion. If you're tidy and respectful, that's a huge plus! I'm looking to live with people who are balanced, fun-loving, and driven. Please note that I'll need something furnished :)
Hi there! I will be moving to Sydney in February from the U.S. to study at Mac Uni. I am a very easy going person and a super respectable roommate who loves to be social (with wine, of course), but I also like my alone time too. I like to be active and adventure, and I am looking for roommates that could be friends as well as great roommates.
Hi, I'm a Primary School Teacher, born and bred in Sydney. I have been living in share houses for 12 years and love a place where I can socialise with the flatmates over dinner and wine, or just do my own thing. I enjoy camping, the beach, bushwalking, ultimate frisbee, cycling and just chilling with friends either out or at home. I am respectful of shared spaces and clean up after myself, but I'll admit, my bedroom is known to be a bit of a mess. If you have a bath, I'll teach you that a redwine glass floats in it (best discovery ever!) And if no bath, oh well. I'm currently stayin wih a friend, so move date is quite flexible. :)
Ey!! I'm Jon, 29 years old, spanish guy newly arrived in Sydney. I'm looking for flatmates, friendly people to share appartment with. I work full time with no fixed schedule, some days I like working from home. Business Developer in the architectural field for Australia, I am a little bit philosopher, people believer, travelling, fitness & design lover. Interested in new technologies and entrepreneurship.
I am a 30 year old American working in Surry Hills at a restaurant. I am friendly, tidy and laid back. I enjoy being outside and exploring new areas of Sydney when I have the time. I enjoy cooking and having the occasional night out.
HI everyone, I'm Fabio(31), an italian guy who will be soon in Sydney. I've already been in Australia and I'm coming back to spend my second working holiday visa. About living in a flat: I'm tidy and respectful of common area and of stuff of sombody else. About me: I'm not a smoker. I'm a friendly and sociable person, often curious to know new interesting people and different points of view about several topics. I like swimming (I know that in Sydney there are so many nice pools!) and of course I love nature landscapes, sometimes I like to pretend to understand about nice photo pictures. My plan is keep going to improve my english as more as possible, get a job in hospitality area where I have experience, after this trying to get a job as swim instructor and enjoy my stay in Sydney. I'd like to find a clean place with nice and respectful housemates who want to live in harmony in the flat :)
Hi there! My name is Lauren and I’m relocating to Sydney from Perth for a new job in Marketing/PR. I’ve just turned 26 yrs old and am very mature for my age. I’d love to share a house with a person/people who I can chat and socialise with but are understanding of me having time to myself. I’ll be working in the city with standard Monday-Friday work hours; occasionally I may work a day on the weekend. Ideally I am looking for a room that is big enough for a double bed and isn’t the size of a matchbox. I don’t mind if my housemates are guys or girls, as long as they are clean and considerate. I’m super tidy and will always clean up after myself. Looking forward to hearing from you ☺ Lauren
I'm a 23 year-old student doing design and working part time. I love design :). I need a single room for at least 6 month soon, starting from around 31st January 2017. I'm not a smoker and I only drink occasionally. I always respect other people's space and would like to keep public space clean when living with other people. I'm OK with people who smoke as long as they smoke at reasonable places. I am very independent and can be quite busy sometimes due to work and school. But of course I always hang out with roomies and spend time to enrich our living experience. I'm passionate about all creative industries and am open to people with different views and interests. I currently work and practice in architecture and design related fields and also do sculpture in my free time. I need a place to stay for at least 6 month soon, starting from around 31st January 2017. Please let me know if you have a room available or would like to share an apartment with me. :)
A couple looking to find a room somewhere. Our current lease is up on the 5th of March and we would like to move sometime after that (we potentially have somewhere we can stay until we find suitable long term accommodation). Max rent we would like to pay is $320/week total ($160 each per week) but would prefer around $280/week total). We have been house-sharing for a year near Parramatta and are looking to move closer to our university campus (UNSW). Kiegan is working part-time (currently 4 days a week) and Kira is able to choose to work 2 - 6 days a week. Looking to share with someone who is independent and easygoing, with a clean and tidy home. Proximity to public transport would be a plus and we also need a pet friendly house (2 lovely cats). Preferably somewhere that does not get TOO hot (our current flat gets over 40 degrees inside). Unfurnished room is preferred as we have a bedroom set up already, we have a fridge and washing machine we can bring with us or just sell and we also have our own kitchen items (crockery, cutlery, etc). Kiegan studies a Bachelor of Fine Arts at UNSW Art and Design and Kira studies Social Work & Criminology. We have always consistently paid rent on time and have had experience with uncooperative house mates and will not put you through that stress. Please get in touch if you may have something available or any questions.
Hey Everyone! My name is Yann, I'm a 31 y.o. male, working in IT, moving to sydney for at least a year. I need to find a place for the 25-30th of January. My spouse Audrey, 29, is coming too to work, but she'll arrive several weeks after me, mid feb. We are respectful, well-mannered, non smoking persons. We like to live in harmony with people, respecting others is essential. We are very open minded and enjoy sharing a drink :) But as we'll work, we need to find a place where we can rest and be peaceful when needed. Searching for roommate(s) that is/are also working and share the same open minded attitude! Looking for a furnished room or appartement, with a double bed for my spouse and i. Don't hesitate to contact me!
Hey all, I'm looking for a place In eastern Sydney to move in in the next couple of weeks. I'm 25 years old and work in finance, which keeps me busy during the week and unfortunately sometimes on the weekend. In my spare time I like to go surfing, play afl, ski, swim and have recently developed an interest in photography. Also love checking out new bars and going to gigs. I've just come back from 2 months overseas and am staying with family on the north shore, but before that I was living in Bondi. As far as what I'm looking - something long term, where I can walk to work and housemates I could be good mates with! If I might be someone you're looking for let me know 😊

I'm a 19 year old female student, studying Entertainment Management. I like cooking and baking, music and animals, although I don't have any of my own. Ideally I am looking for my own room in a share house, somewhere in the Inner West. I look forward to maybe meeting you. - Laura
Easy going professional working in the city. Pretty much work all week and keep active before and after work. Looking for a place with a chilled vibe with easy going people who also keen clean as I see my self as being clean but not a clean freak. From canberra but have lived in Melbourne for the past few years and now I've moved here so looking for a place for at least 6 months.
Hi! I'm Ana, a Spanish girl who's looking for a room in Sydney! I will be studying and working part time there from next week. I'd like to be part of a nice flat atmosphere, where we could cook together, share and explore the city. I like nature, hiking, photography, reading and sports. I also love to travel and get to know other cultures and people. Everything that keeps my mind active! :)
Hello! :) I'm Joey from Singapore, and I'm looking for a home away from home. I've recently graduated from uni in Melb. Moving to continue studying @ USyd in March. Looking for preferably a private room and best if it's somewhere within walking distance from Hyde Park, length of stay negotiable. I'm friendly, clean, respectful and open to pets! Have lived with several flatmates before and never had problems. I'm interested in other cultures since I'm from a multi-racial country, hence I welcome living with people of diverse nationalities! Not really the party type, but I do enjoy a drink or two. Am doing my best to live a healthier lifestyle (eating clean, going to the gym, etc.) I also love going on adventures, taking pictures and doing voluntary work. My finances are assisted, thus I certainly will pay the rent on time. If you think I could be a good fit and would like to connect to know me better, do drop me a message. Cheers! :)
I am a 30 year old Canadian architect that moved to Sydney just over a year ago. I'm working full time at a firm in Darlinghurst. I work very hard but like to kick back and have fun. I'm healthy, athletic, very clean and respectful. I have owned my own home and will treat things like I would take care of my own. I'm happy to have an animal around and help out with it for some four legged company. Looking for a great new place live and call home. Would love to find a laid back house, roommate (s) to have an afterwork drink or the occasion house dinner. I have been house sitting for the past year so ideally looking for something furnished but happy to get my own things if I find something suitable long term. Can provide reference for house sitting opportunities.
Hi, i am a young professional working in Finance in the CBD while finishing off my MBA Part time. I am seriously active, so will be out at the gym most mornings otherwise having a swim at Bondi. I am easy going and always willing to share a drink or two at the end of a busy week.
I'm looking to move out soon in March, closer to the city for work. I like to have a few drinks on the weekend/listen to music if I'm not working, besides that I'm pretty laid back to live with. If I'm not reading a book at home then I'm out enjoying the sun. I deferred my studies for a year to just relax and have fun while I am still able. Public transport near would be preferred and a furnished room, all I am bringing is luggage full of clothes. PM me if you think I am suited to your family ☺️
Hi there, I'm a 28yo male working as a software engineer. I've been living in the US for the past decade but originally from Brisbane. I've just moved to Sydney and looking for a place to live near the eastern beaches. I've got a full-time job starting in Feb. I keep an active and healthy lifestyle and will likely be off somewhere surfing for part of the weekend. I’m very social but don't spend much time in the bar/club scene and like to keep a quiet home where I can recharge. Having a tidy and clean place is important to me and always respectful of the people I’m living with. I’ve been living in sharehousing for the past 4 years in California and have done a lot of backpacking and traveling over the years. I’m used to sharing space with people and am always mindful of the people around me. Hope to hear from you!
Hi guys, Our names are Maja and Harleigh and we are two single, female, FRIENDS in our 20s from Sydney looking to find a place to live pretty much anywhere in Sydney's Inner West, Outer CBD or Eastern Suburbs. We're both working full time - Harleigh works full-time doing admin for an Entrepreneur/Business College in the city and Maja works full-time for an Australian fashion label. In our spare time we enjoy hanging out with friends, drinkin a lil wine and relaxin - we're both pretty chill. If you think we'd be suited to take over your lease or move in with you, please let us know! We're a combination package, so one of us will come with the other! Hope to hear from you soon, Maja and Harleigh x
I'm looking out for a place, nothing too unusual; just close enough to work, a room that will fit a decent sized bed, and some easy going housemates. A bit of a spiel about myself; I'm a pretty laid back guy, Originally from South Australia I've lived in sydney for the last few years. I work in medical research, usually quite busy during the week. I dont mind a wine or two on the weekend and try to keep fit with the occasional jog, gym sesh or game of basketball.
Hi, I'm Jack. Originally from the UK I've just returned to Sydney to live here for the second time in my life. I had been happily living in Bristol until my old company insisted I come back to the sunshine and be overpaid to work on solar power technology and I couldn't find any excuses not to. I've been house sharing for...17 years now? So am pretty well schooled in all this business. I'm sociable, clean, tidy, respectful, and financially secure. Basically no aggro. Only thing I struggle with are extremely messy or extremely/OCD clean types, but anything is between works! Most evenings are quiet - I go to the gym 3 nights a week so am home late. Work 9-6 generally. I've got some friends and family in Sydney so will be out and about a bit, but would also like a house with social flatmates as I'm an sociable and would like to meet more people (my social network has narrowed being away for 5 years). I like swimming, running (ok not always), cooking, badminton, beaching, travel, coffee and milkshakes and generally exploring. Would be great if you fancied going on road trips every now and then but no obligation :) My office is in Surry hills so ideally looking for easy commute/cycle - basically somewhere between Surry Hills and Bondi Junction. Please get in touch if I sound suitable :-)
Chilled out, clean and tidy couple. We are from England and Holland, both working in Hospitality. Enjoy socialising and cooking, also a few beers on a weekend but respect others and our own privacy.
My name is Yolande, I am a 22 year old half-english half-french girl on a working holiday Visa in Sydney! I am very friendly and outgoing; one minute i'll be talking about my views on life, the next i'll be imitating Agnes from Despicable Me.. haha. I enjoy company as much as my alone time, and am clean and organised. I'm pretty chilled out, I believe that since you only have one life, you might as well make the most of every single moment and not get bothered with little unnecessary détails! I am in Sydney for quite some time as I want to save up as much money as possible for my traveling plans. I love meeting new people, traveling, discovering new music, and I love the occasional bbq and/or night out! I'm also into sports, I do chinese boxing and played tennis for 7 years. I can promise that living with me will be no hustle!
Hi! My name is Paula and I am from Spain. I have already arrived to Sydney to improve my English. I also would like to work part time to earn some money and travel all around. I consider myself an honest and reliable person, cheerful and easygoing.
Hi! Currently on the lookout for a new house/Flat to call home! I am part French and Part New Zealand and came to Australia a couple of years ago. I am in my mid twenties, have a full time job and I am looking for a place to share with easy going (but respectful) people. I am a very open minded person who enjoys multicultural environments and have spent a lot of my life traveling around the globe. Although I like socializing with others and don't mind sharing a glass or two now and then, I also like to have my private space and the chance to relax, after working days. I am easy to live with, clean, tidy, easy going, respectful of others and will always be on time for the rent. I enjoy outdoor activities and go for a hike when I get the chance to. I always like to discover new things around Sydney, whether it's a new restaurant/new bar and am always on the lookout for events of interest. I also like sports, play tennis casually and now trying to go gym on a regular basis. Hope I get the chance to find a place to call home asap and looking forward to meet you !
I'm a Canadian student embarking on exchange at the UNSW Art & Design campus starting in February 2017. I'm friendly and social, but like to keep to myself and I respect shared spaces. I'm looking to immerse myself in Sydney's culture and would love to meet locals and other students!
My name is Jess, I am 25 years old and a part-time HR student, also working within the marketing industry. My boyfriend Dan is 28 years old and is employed full-time in the health care recruitment industry. We are a fun, friendly couple who love to socialise and stay active. We love a clean and tidy home and enjoy meeting new people. We think it's important to have flatmates that are approachable, respectful and tidy. It is important to feel at ease and be able to relax within your own home!
Hi! I'm Mariek, 23 years old, from the Netherlands! I arrived in Sydney on the 6th of January, and currently still staying in a hostel in Surry Hills. The reason I came to Sydney is because I'm doing my internship for my management school here in a hotel in Sydney. This internship is 10 months, and I would really like to have my own place, preferably close to work (Jamison St.). I'm a person who likes her privacy, to Skype with family and friends, read a book, listen to music or Netflix! But I'm also a sociable person who likes to cook together, drink a glass of wine or go out. Currently I work from 6 AM to 2 PM, but this will also change to working at night. If you think that I would be a contribution to your house, please let me know!
I am tidy, friendly and want to find a home not just a flat! I work 9-5 in Redfern. Outside of work I enjoy exercising (usually a group fitness class at the gym with friends), catching up with friends, trying a new dinner spot and generally staying pretty active. I want a place to come home to where I can relax and also enjoy the company of my flatmate preferably with some wine and TV.
Hi! I'm Jeff. I work full time at Bunnings Alexandria on a Tuesday-Saturday roster. I'm clean & quite & tend to keep to myself through the week. I enjoy eating out, visiting friends & going to the beach on my weekends, so am frequently out of the house. If you would be interested in sharing a place with me let me know!
Hi, I'm 24 and moving from India to Sydney where I'll be working full time. I'm pretty easy to live with, very tidy, and I enjoy social events and parties as much as I like to curl up in my bed with a book or watching tv on a Sunday. I love working out, beer and traveling. I'm open to pets in the house! I've lived with 4 people in the last 4 years and have absolutely no issues with roommates so far and hope to never have!
Very friendly, energetic group of guys. We are a group of three graduates from England who have travelled for a while and are excited for our second year in Australia, escaping the horrific English weather in the process. We work in a combination of retail, catering and sales so will be out of the house for large periods. However, we also love to socialise and make the most of our days off! We are all big sport fans including, soccer (football), cricket, rugby and tennis. Having spent time living in Melbourne and Sydney previously we have never had any problems with flat mates or landlords and are also very respectful of the property we are living in and ensure it stays tidy.
