Hi! We are a couple from Sweden who just arrived in Sydney. Jacob will be studying at the University of Sydney and Amanda is here to work. We will be in Sydney until the beginning of July. We are very calm, easy going, friendly and positive persons. We like to socialize and explore new places. All landlords we have had in Sweden has been very satisfied with us. References can be provided by request. Any questions? feel free to contact us. Kind regards, Jacob & Amanda
I'm intending to start uni for mid-year intake so from July I'll be a full time student but also have a job. I'm not much of a party chick, although I do enjoy a good cider or three every so often. I like to think I'm fairly healthy, I enjoy working out so it'd be nice to be around like-minded people as it's always a good motivator. I am alright at cooking and can always chuck something together- but not desserts I'd rather buy them! I'm a qualified makeup artist and beauty therapist so I'm handy to have around to make you look good! At the same time my favourite outfit is my pj's. Pretty chilled out and enjoy life. Very interested in teaming up aswell.
Pursuing my master thesis project in biology in Sydney. I'm from Germany but have Chinese roots. I have lived the past 5 years in flatshares, so I know to value a good atmosphere. I like it clean and tidy (I really do), and also contribute my part to it. I'm easy to talk to and enjoy a walk in a park or by the ocean. I recently started meditation and do some reading into Buddhism philosophy. I work long hours and cherish a relaxed time at home. Looking for a quiet environment where housemates don't mind a chat but respect each others privacy. Let's meet and see if we're a match!
My name is Chloé, I am a professional dancer and ballet teacher and very focused on my career .. this is the main reason I am moving to Sydney. I am very out going, active, social and I try my best not to take life to seriously. I have been traveling around the world dancing for the last 4 years so I am quite a quick learner and love learning and seeing new things. I am a very tidy person and easy going.. not interested in any dramas 🙊 I am initially looking for somewhere for 3 months to get settled but will potentially like to extend this to a longer time period.
I'm originally from the Philippines and have been in Sydney for about 8 years now. I work five days a week as a data analyst for banks and credit card companies in the city. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music on my record player, going to gigs, running, cycling, and occasionally enjoy lazing around the house. I'm an easy-going, fun-loving and affable individual looking to move into a place nearby the city with people who have the same interests as me.
Hey hey viewers, I'm Tom, a 4th year Australian student studying IT and Business at UTS, from Forster NSW. I'll be arriving back in Australia from student exchange in Munich, Germany, therefore I'm looking for a lease until the end of the year starting mid March 2017 (or thereabouts) I play futsal regularly, am active and social but sometimes like my own space (don't we all) and a clean home. Looking for a home rather than a room. I have my own car in Sydney and so any parking on the street/near by is a plus. The past years living in Sydney I have lived on campus for a year, and also in a share house for a year. I like to party/social drinks sometimes but more so this year will be settling down and keen for chilling. Keen to watch movies and TV shows (GOT anyone?) cook, explore, beach it, play board games and Xbox (classic) plus whatever else, other than that I have a pretty tight year coming up balancing my R&D job and study so I hope to keep myself busy! Andddd so I'm looking for a modern private room, with people of all shapes and sizes (preferably young working professionals or students). If that detailed description is good enough then hit me up with a message. Cheers and much appreciated for reading my essay, Tom.
Hola! My name is Carla, 27 years old, originally Spanish but I´ve lived in 7 different countries, so love travelling and meeting new people and getting to know new places, cultures and languages! I am very tidy, energetic, easy going and friendly (+LGBT+)! Also, I love doing sports (Yoga, rock climbing, surf, functional training...im always up to do any sport!), socialising and hanging out with friends, cooking and experiencing new adventures. I am looking for a cosy place where I could feel at home as I was living in Melbourne but I have been sponsored by a company to work in Sydney and I am planning to stay for long term! I am super used to sharing accommodation and I love coming back home and having people around, a nice meal and a glass of wine! For the last 2y I´ve worked for Hewlett Packard as an online marketing manager and i just started working for HP again but in Australia as a Market Development Manager. I would love to find a place where there is a nice atmosphere and we could all share meals, and do plans together, not just coming back home and everyone be locked up in their rooms. However I do also respect other´s people privacy and even myself I sometimes enjoy to be on my own and just chill watching a movie or reading a book. Hope to hear from you! Besos 🙂 Carla
Hi I'm Michael - For the last few years I've been working as an engineer in Melbourne. I've moved back to Sydney to study medicine and enjoying getting back into the Sydney lifestyle (i.e. seeing the sun again). I like to keep busy and have a good mix of social and study/work life, as most people I guess. I'm easy going and I like to think easy to get along with, and have many and varied interests (comedy, music, sport, travel, writing/reading, film etc - all the good ones). Look forward to perhaps meeting you.
I am searching for a room close to the University of Sydney. Ideally, if it's within 20 min of walking distance or not more than half an hour with public transportation. I prefer single rooms, but shared rooms are okay, too, if the flatmates are chilled out. I'm friendly, very tidy, like to meet new people and go out. I will spend most daytime working at the university, thus I am very easy to live with, since I basically just need the flat as a place to sleep (and eventually eat). Most of the times I'm a relatively quiet person, but when I beome a little chatty, you just can tell me. I really like to cook and try out new things. Since I am a vegetarian (don't worry, I won't try to convince anyone), I am pretty eager to try out new ways to cook my all time classics (I've been pretty good in preparing meat before I quit). Thus I'd really like to cook together or for a group. I especially like asian and mediterranian cuisine (or what I make out of).
Hi! I am a student of the university of sydney. I am easygoing and friendly. I speak English, mandarin and a little Spanish. I usually get up at 7 a.m. and sleep at 11 p.m. I enjoy reading, jogging and making new friends. :)
Hello, here is Ya Huang, young Chinese female. I am an uni student who studying interior design and I have been Australia more than 2 yrs. Hey all, I'm Leonardo from Rome, Italy. I'll start my PhD at USyd in a few days (it's a paid position which involves research and some teaching) and I'm looking for a shared house close to the University. I'm 25 years old, friendly and easygoing. I've lived in a shared house for years, always being respectful, collaborative and clean, and taking part in house chores. Ideally I'd like a shared house where people like to spend some time together, cooking, sharing meals, talking and laughing over a glass of wine from time to time:). In my free time I enjoy listening to music (mostly over my headphones, without annoying everyone), reading, exploring the city and surroundings, cooking and having a good time with my friends and housemates.
I am from India and studying Masters in IT in University of Sydney, Camperdown campus. I like cooking, reading and play a lot of games. So if you are a gamer or just love playing them, we will surely fit right in. Being an IT guy, you'll find me mostly indulged in working on techie things and stuff like that. For any more info about me, feel free to contact me here.
Hi, I am Rhiannon and I have just moved to Sydney from Adelaide to take on a new role for work. I am looking for a private room for rent at the end of APRIL. The room would need to be big enough to fit my queen bed, beside tables and dresser and with a built in wardrobe. I would prefer own bathroom but am not bothered to share with another person either. I am an honest, tidy and trustworthy person with a good sense of humour/cheeky personality at times. Once you get to know me I am a social person that can adapt to a lot of different personalities but do also enjoy my quiet time by myself. I work Full Time and generally work Tuesday to Saturday. I am happy to share with Male or Females, preferably ages 25-40. I do not smoke but can tolerate smoking if it's done outside and away from me. When I'm not working I do like to go out to dinner to many different places (foodie), go on walks/hikes and have a drink or to when socialising. I also have a cat back in Adelaide that I am looking to potentially bring over. He is desexed, 1.5yrs old and ragdoll x domestic breed. He can be vocal at times but not because there's anything wrong but just because he loves attention. He is not coping the best with out me and that is why I am considering bringing him over. I am aware that not many property owners or house mates want pets but this would just be an added bonus not a non negotiable if pets were allowed. If your room or property meets most of my criteria and I am the kind of house mate you are looking for please feel free to message me with pics of the room and apartment available and any questions you may have. Thanks Rhi
Hi there, I'm currently looking for 1 private room in shared apartment since my contract in UTS housing ends soon. I'm currently a graduate, working full-time at Myer and looking for a house close to city/Bondi. I'm happy to move into a house with a room for myself as well and would love good company as well. I'm a chilled and relax guy who would normally workout and go for a run in the park - when free. Apart from that, I like to chill out with my flatties and watch series whenever we're all at home. Not to forget, love to have good banters, sneaky wine and beers and create good vibes. INTEREST: Football- watching EPL and UFC

Hi! My name is Chara, and I'm a 21 year old student from the U.S. I am supposed to be in my last year of studies but took some time off to travel and teach abroad so I am a little behind. I am transferring over to the University of Sydney very last minute, and am looking for a place to stay close by. I've never been to Australia before so this is a big move for me, but I'm hoping it all works out! The past few years I've lived with all different types of people, most of whom are still really good friends of mine. Hey All, I'm looking to move somewhere in between the city and the western suburbs (where I work) that's on the express train line out in that direction. (Probably around Redfern, Burwood or Strathfield stations.) I work in business management in a full time and secure job in the Parramatta area but most of my friends and social activities are closer to the Sydney CBD. I basically want a relatively quiet and simple place to stay during the week that's easy for me to commute from and that has a direct route to the city so I can easily catch up with my friends in that general area of Sydney. Hope to hear from anyone with a room like that for rent. All the best, Gaz
Hey guys! We're two great girls from New York hoping to find a place to stay in Sydney while we are here on a working holiday. We will be here for the year! Outgoing, fun personalities! Very respectful, but would like to find a place with other young professionals who like to socialize!
I'm a former environmental scientist and Uni lecturer currently doing my masters in fine arts at COFA in Paddington. (I freelance as a TAFE trainer for cash). Also a musician and have instruments. Something of a hippy at heart but pretty clean cut on the outside. Friendly and personable, but independent and I like to have my own space. Not a huge party animal (most of the time). Into music, the arts, nature and coffee.
I'm a 25 year old professional that works full time Monday-Friday. I'm clean, tidy and social.
Hey, we are Meg & Tom! We currently live in the UK but are planning to move to Australia after two weeks in Bali (October/November 16"). We will be newly married when we move to Australia but we have been together for seven years and living together for four years. We are a relaxed but hard working couple. I like to keep my living environment clean and tidy so willing to do more than my fair share of cleaning. I'm (Meg) a Web Developer & Designer so planning to work full time. Tom is a Chef, and will also be looking for full time work.
I am here on a working holiday visa from the UK. I have just been offered some stable work here in Sydney so am looking for somewhere suitable to stay. I work 9-5ish Monday to Friday. I'm 25 years young. Friendly and sociable but also enjoy my own space and am therefore mindful of others. I am very clean and respectful. Just looking for a home away from home and hoping to meet some friendly faces along the way!
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst, have just left my home of over two years in redfern. I'm a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, chats and hanging out with housemates, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. Need my alone time but would love to be able to spend time with housemates too. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
I am an environmental student in my final year at UTS. Keen for a share house in the inner west somewhere. Ideally would love to vibe well with other housemate so that the house feels like a home :) Easy going and respectful of people's space!
I'm an Aussie-asian born and from Perth. Recently moved to Sydney and looking for long term stay with my bf, Andrew. Im a person with cultural upbringing meaning I'm all about being clean and fairly neat. I will make it easy and save you from reading a essay; I describe myself being creative & social as well as interest into yoga, fitness and outdoor activities. Andrew, bloke from Geelong, is a graphic designer. He's not a strong character so you will never get sick of him :). Think of him as a chilled aussie, barely complains and not fussy. We are looking for a private room in a shared house/flat with mates who enjoys casual drinks over dinner, sociable, clean and easy going. Staying 9 months plus further extension.
Hi, I am Will. I'm currently looking to join a share house with like minded people in their 20's or 30's. I'm clean and tidy, i work full time and i'm very reliable you will have no problems when it comes to paying bills/rent. I'm a relaxed guy who is happy socializing or locking myself away watching a tv series. I'm into skateboarding, live music and having the occasional beer.
