I am an organised and respectable full time worker, looking for a private room in the inner-west area. I'm no stranger to the dos and don'ts of sharehouse living having previously lived with friends and acquaintances. I like to contain my mess to my own private space and enjoy having clean common areas, especially the kitchen. I am very easy going and relaxed, I like to go swimming and slack lining or see a live gig every now and then, and am happy to have a chat or keep to myself.
My name is Meg, I'm 22, I'm originally from Brisbane. I work in the arts and I travel Australia working as a stage manager. I'm coming to Sydney because I have work lined up till the end of the year in the city and I'm looking for a lovely group of people to go with it. I work long hours but I love to socialise. I love thrift shopping, collecting books, drinking beer, watching trashy TV and netflix. I also love horse riding, exploring new neighbourhoods and going to see independent theatre productions. I study part time online at the University of New England, studying a Bachelor of Languages majoring in Chinese and French. We'll get along if you're a nice person and cool with the long hours and work trips I often take. Hit me up if you're interested in a team up!
I am a health professional working within Campsie. I'm seeking a furnished room in a house share, preferably with my own bathroom. I am currently on a visit back home in England and will be arriving back in Sydney 17th May so would be looking to go from airport straight to the accommodation. I am a tidy, quiet and will most likely be at work most of the week ( I work 6 days a week). I like to read and watch movies or go out and explore in my free time. I am happy to have a chat with my flatmates and get to know them although alternatively I am also happy to keep to myself and most likely will be busy most of the time with work.
I am Jing. I am on working holiday visa at this moment and I really like Australia so I decide to apply the student visa and stay here.I like cooking and baking. I am a friendly and tidy.
Hi, I'm Morgan. I'm a social worker on a helpline, and also a part-time postgrad student. I'm down to earth, friendly and respectful. I appreciate my down time during the week, but also partial to dinner or a beer together. I would like my housemate(s) to be my friends. I do yoga and like bush-walking. I'm also learning a bit of Spanish at the moment. Looking for easy-going housemates who aren't new to communal living themselves. Would be really keen on a place with built-ins, and/or some storage space. Looking forward to hearing back!
Hi, I'm Hugh (male, 20). I'm studying nanoscience at UNSW (third year, full time), and working part time as a hospital orderly. With uni and work, my hours are pretty variable, and I'll often work quite early or quite late shifts (early shifts start 6:30am, and late shifts can finish 9-11pm). Interests include radio controlled aircraft, photography, reading, rock climbing, swimming. I'm pretty quiet, but enjoy socialising with friends.
Hi There, I'm a working professional looking for a new place to call home. I'd love to find a place where my flatmate see's their house as their home and their flatmate as a friend, not just someone who pays the rent. I like a chilled home environment, someplace that is calm, inviting and not too cluttered - I'm pretty minimalist and don't come with a lot of stuff. If cooking together, followed by a movie sesh and a chin wag sounds good then we'll probably get along. I love to get out and about, hiking, road trips, getting some culture and live gigs, so if you're into spontaneous adventures then that's a bonus. I'm old enough to know when someone needs space and I'm a good communicator - better said than left unsaid I reckon. Anyhoo, hopefully there's someone else out there with a similar mindset :) Amanda
Hi, I’m a 26 year old working for a non-profit. Originally from England but have lived in Sydney most of my life. I’m easy going and respectful, looking for preferably a sharehouse with max 3 others and prefer no couple but am flexible. I play guitar, like watching shows and films and playing games. I love snorkelling and bushwalking/birdwatching. Enjoy cooking and going out with mates. Ideally I’d have chilled flatmates who are easy going too and enjoy socialising with each other but also respect having alone time too. I’ll probably be buying a projector once I move in so that’s a bonus for movie nights 😛
My partner (Cristo) and I are looking for a new place to move into together. I'm 27 and he is 29. I'm Australian with an Egyptian background and he is Spanish. We are both easy going and like to have our own space, but also want to be able to get together with housemates. We want to have flexibility and freedom when living with others as well as mutual respect for common areas. We've both travelled around the world a bit so we are capable of looking after ourselves. I'm outgoing, a great talker, and love to get to know new people! I enjoy going to art galleries, trying out new foods & film photography. My partner is also a great talker, loves learning about the Australian culture and is a fan of Greek cuisine. He enjoys working with computers and the internet, photography, and watching Netflix.
My name is Shane and I work full-time in the marketing team of a video game publisher in Ultimo - dream job! ;) I love playing games, watching movies, chilling out and listening to music, going on hikes and hitting the beach. I enjoy keeping to myself but am always up to hang out or share a drink/meal. I like to keep my living spaces clean and am happy to get my hands dirty to maintain a place. I love meeting new people and going on adventures on the weekend :)
We are four reliable and responsible guys in our early and mid twenties looking for a share house together. Three of us are working full-time and the other is studying and working part-time. We are currently all living together in boarding house accomodation but are looking for somewhere to call our own.
Make up artist, full time student studying youth work. I'm friendly, conscientious and very tidy. Photography, animals, nature and cooking are some of my interests. LGBTQIA+ ONLY. Feel free to ask me any questions :)
Hi, My name is David. Im 28, I was born in Chile but have lived in Sydney for most of my life. I work in HR Full time and work weekends in promotions sampling a range of different products. I don't drink or smoke but I do love hitting the beach and socialising with friends on weekends. I'm clean, down to earth and always happy to cook dinner and have a good chat :)
I'd like to think i'm a somewhat interesting person and I plan to live in the states after I finish studying in 2020. I've been renting since July 21st 2017 and have been providing for myself for almost a full year. I'm clean and tidy without being obnoxious and try to see everyone's point of view when living with them. If you struggle with English then that's great because I sometimes tutor English for the IELTS exam. I'm also a freelance animator but I support myself through retail.
Hello! Me and my best friend Sarma are looking to rent a room long term (1 room each or to a single big bedroom to share between us, we aren’t that fussy!) in inner west Sydney as we’ve grown up around this area our whole lives, me living in Petersham and Dulwich Hill, Sarma living in Marrickville and Canterbury :-) During the week apart from working, me and Sarma usually don’t spend much time at home, Sarma has Muay Thai classes and I begin studying the field of skin care/dermatology this year! What makes us the greatest people to live with (ever) is that we are very respectful, clean and we usually keep to ourselves and won’t get in the way of whatever you gotta do at home! We have lived together for almost a year now and she has basically become like a sister to me. We are not loud party animals (well not at home anyways 😜) we do go out to party but like I said we’re respectful so we won’t have music blasting 24/7, we’ll always clean up after ourselves andddd I might even tidy up mess that isn’t our own because that’s just how I am, I like living in a tidy environment and I do enjoy tidying up as well :-)
Hey there, I'm Kristjan - 26 year old Male, born in Iceland, however I've lived in Sydney almost my whole life. I'm a full-time professional working in Media as an Analyst. I'm easy going, tidy/clean, respectful and sociable. I'm usually down to have a beer/chat after work when im not going straight in for an afternoon nap (and as an introvert I totally get wanting to be left alone sometimes!). I am a horrible cook and eat out/get takeaway whenever I'm not heating up an easy meal in the microwave. I don't smoke, I'm out most of the weekend and I regularly work late. So I will often just be home to sleep! I work in Pyrmont so I would ideally be looking to stay somewhere along the L1 Light Rail line but I'd also be happy to consider something 10-20 minutes train from Town Hall Station.
Hi We are Talisa and Georgia and we're currently looking for a new place to call home. A little bit about Georgia: She is 28 years old, an extroverted introvert, enjoys life drawing, heading to gigs and theatre, yoga, going on hikes and exploring book stores. She is also a foodie and loves the occasional wine with a cheese platter on the weekend. She likes a good doco and is interested in holistic health and personal development. She has worked as a social worker/counsellor and is currently working with youth. A little bit about myself: I’m Talisa, also 28 and currently working as a physio. I like to get out on the weekends whether it’s spending time in nature going on hikes, wandering around markets and bookstores or catching up with friends over a wine. Around the house you’d most likely see me reading and drinking too much tea as well as dabbling in creative outlets like cooking/drawing. We’re looking for a home to share with like-minded people who are thoughtful with shared living spaces, are relatively quite during the week and who are friendly and open to occasionally hanging out or allowing us to have a couple of friends over on the weekend. We would love a place to feel like a sanctuary , with understanding of when we might need some down time but we are also very open to organising brunches or dinners with our flatties! We hope to hear from you! Also - we had a profile exactly like this up a few days ago, but something went wrong and we've been unable to sign into the account. So if you have messaged in the last couple of days, please message again. Thanks! :)
We are Damien and Paul, and we are looking for a new home. We have been in a relationship for more than 5 years, across different continents, through different study and employment stages, and life stages. Damien works as a lawyer, but is also a very caring and friendly person. He teaches piano, and has a small piano in the home. Paul is a talented designer, currently balancing working remotely for an overseas company with developing a career locally. We like exercise, weekend trips, good food and RuPaul’s Drag Race. We also like to sleep 7-8 hours a night so no weekday parties. We don’t do parties anyway, but prefer dinner with friends, or to go out to a bar and maybe have a dance. At the moment we are living in Canberra and without housemates for the first time. We take a lot of pride in our home, we have some quality furniture and and we aim to make our next home as ‘homely’ as this one. We have many years of sharehouse experience, and through this we have learnt to be respectful of others, to deal well with conflict, and to know how to take care of ourselves and those with whom we share space. We are looking to find a place (either 2 bed + study or a 3 bed), with relatively modern fixtures. We have a car and a few tools (because we are handy around the house), so we would ideally like a garage or shed. We would love to live near to the beach or the harbour, or somewhere central to the inner west, although we are flexible. We have seen some good places as far west as Concord, and we would also consider as far north as Lane Cove to Castlecrag. Perhaps as far south as Wolli Creek / Turrella and Maroubra. We are looking to share with either one or two others, depending on the size and price of the properties we find. We are open to who we live with (students / employed / etc). Please get in touch if you think you might like to live with us, and we can see if we could get along. Paul & Damien
Respectful, sociable, a little reserved, good humoured, responsible. I'm a mature flat mate who has a steady professional job. I am very sociable but am not looking for a party or busy home. I live a hectic lifestyle and home is a sanctuary for me. I'm also looking for flatmates who I can build trust with - not people who lock themselves in their room but know how to share common space while recognising boundaries. Would be great if friendships form but this isn't a requirement because it's something that only evolves and shouldn't be forced. I have a diverse range of interests and am a very pro-active person. I'm a non-smoker and looking for same.
Hi all! Due to the owner of the apartment I’m currently in taking back the property, I’m looking for an unfurnished room/granny flat/studio, or for someone wanting to start a new place with me and my parrot! I’m an engineer in my early 30’s, easygoing, social, clean (without being a neat freak), who pays bills and rent on time and always down for a sneaky beer! I’m looking for an unfurnished room or someone wanting to start a new place. As mentioned I do come with a parrot who’s very friendly and (mostly) well behaved, so a place with a cat would not be suitable for obvious reasons! I also have a car so would be looking for somewhere with easy parking. If you think I might be a good match for a spare room or you’re interested in getting a new crib, just send me a message! Cheers, Stew
Considerate flatmate, busy with life and work but enjoy a bit of down time at night - cooking and a bit of netflix/reading.
