Hi! My name's Georgia. I'm a graphic designer, swimming teacher and full-time student, currently completing my Masters degree at Sydney Uni. I'm looking for a place in the inner-west to call home while I complete my studies. I've pretty much elusively lived in share houses so am very share savvy. I'm tidy, reliable and considerate. Happy to have a wine/beer in the evening and share a meal, but also respectful of peoples privacy and alone time.
I'm laid back, easy going, clean and tidy, non smoker, qualified chef. I like to keep to myself but also enjoy company for a meal or a beer. I'm 25 years old and currently work as a full time barista and cafe manager in marrickville and am looking to move closer to work.
Howdy! I'm moving up from Melbourne to start a full-time software engineering job, and looking for a furnished room close to a train station and not too far from the Sydney CBD. I'll be available to move in as of Feb 27th. As a flatmate, I'm tidy, quiet, and responsible. (I do like to play guitar and ukelele for fun, but only when the noise is not a problem for other housemates.) I keep pretty regular working/sleeping hours. I think good communication is the single most important determinant of a happy, functional household, and I'm a good communicator, even when awkward or uncomfortable issues need to be addressed. I like to cook a couple times a week, although I'm not very adventurous. I'm vegetarian and I try to avoid eggs, but other than that I'm not picky with food. (I also have no problem living with non-vegetarians. I'm not preachy.) I like coffee (read: need it to function properly). My ideal home would have a little garden, to help me build some gardening skills. I'm keen to meet people outside of work, so hanging out with housemates on weekends is an appealing prospect, but I also need plenty of time to myself and respect others who need likewise. Although I work in tech, in my spare time (a.k.a. real life) I'm more into the arts and nature than machines. I used to study creative writing and still read a lot; I also enjoy films and music very much. If you're in a book or movie club, can I join? Look forward to hearing from you! (Whoever you are, mysterious reader.)
Kia Ora. I’m Justine, I’m a Kiwi, 36, gainfully employed doing the 9-5 as a Legal PA. I love a good laugh, a nice glass, a good book and a funny show. My friends think I am crazy but I have had myself tested and I passed? No in all seriousness. I am currently living on my own in a studio and we all know how expensive that can be. And a little lonely at times. So for the sake of trying to save in this expensive city I think it’s time to get to know some new folks and start sharing a home again. Happy to look at all options from taking your spare room or finding some new potential roomies and looking for a place together. I do have two beautiful cats. Fully house trained and domesticated like me and a lot less noisy than I am. They also do love a cuddle just like I do! Totally my responsibility! Now for my bad points. I do smoke (but never inside). What else? Hmmmm… apart from that I am awesome! You know ya wanna call right? Ka Kite
Hey there! I am a very easy going and friendly person. I am tidy and considerate of others with over 15 years experience in house-sharing! I work full time in digital media and am looking to take up some fitness or sport after work. On the weekends I spend time with my kids, hang out with friends and am interested in art and music culture. I separated from my wife late last year, but we still talk and keep things amicable. We have three beautiful daughters together who will be living full time with their Mum. My kids are quite young and I want things to be “business as usual” for the next little while so have decided I won’t be introducing them to my new place just yet. Aside from that I am ready to create a new home for myself and get things back on track. I am interested in sharing a place with one or two other people at the moment and if there is any possibility of having my own bathroom that would be grand! Please feel free to get in touch so we can meet up for a coffee or a beer and get to know each other a little better :) Cheers, Shaun
I'm 29, originally from New Zealand. I have been in Sydney for about 3 years now, currently living in Lewisham but looking for a new spot to live as the landlord is moving back into the house. I work out west and do stuff you'd probably want to bombard me questions over, but i can explain that in person. I am laid back and easy to get along with, not looking for a party house, but definitely social people who will grow into good friends. I have been flatting since I was 18 so I am clean and well house trained. I do dishes, wipe benches, mop etc like every housemate should.
Hi, I'm Natasha, I'm 24 years old and I have always been a Sydneysider. I've decided it's time for me to be a big girl and move outta home! I like to read and play the clarinet in my quiet time. I'm pretty happy to live with anyone.
Hi everybody! I am a masters student working part time. I study philosophy and am interested in everything. I'm fairly quiet but enjoy good conversation. I'm an avid gym-goer with certificates in personal training, I like bushwalking, board games and cooking. I love learning new things and meeting new people!
My partner and I are both fun easy going people! We both love to hangout with our flatmates, cook dinner watch a movie ect but also respect each others space. I'm working in hospo and also a weekly internship, my partner is a Tattoo apprentice and working in Landscaping (hint hint he's great for maintenance). If we are what your looking for contact us and we'd be happy to meet!
We are 2 great guys looking for a 3+ bedroom place with 1-2 others around Marrickville, inner west or border-line innerwest suburbs, as our current house is disbanding. We both work and study. Evan is a masters student, known as a walking encyclopaedia and has a great sense of humour. Sean is a law student, an awesome cook and has a chilled out cat called 'Ollie'. We're both easy going, considerate and great to chat to. Budget-wise our upper limit is $200-215 each per week (currently paying $235 each). Please get in touch.
Hey Guys. Quiet Irish boy seeks room in Northern suburbs, Marrickville or surrounding areas to be precise. A little about me, am 34 and come from Ireland, iv been in Australia 5 years and have gained full PR, spent most of those 5 years in Perth. I work full time as a Electrician and work hard at my job. My week days are busy as I work Monday to Friday with some Saturdays also, most evenings are spent at the gym with small relax time at night. Week ends are made up of relaxing, socializing with friends, trips to the beach and ocean drives. What am looking for :)......... To share a place with clean like minded people, preferably in the same age bracket but not a big issue. Will need parking so either street or car port is good. Also move in date wont be till 8th of March or after. Cheers Ken.
I'm starting uni at USYD and looking to live in a sharehouse with other students or people around my age, also keen to join up to start a new share house. I'm looking around the inner west, not fussy about the condition of the place but just want somewhere chilled out & social.
Hi there, The lease ended at my last house and I'm currently looking for a new place to call home. I'm looking either for a room to rent or looking to start a little group and search for a place together. I love to live with people I can call friends and people I can share a cooked dinner and drink or two with during the week. I'm very easy going, tidy up after myself, love to cook and feed others and enjoy a boogie here and there. I have a flexible move in date and I am looking for something more long term but can easily work with short term. If this is something similar to what you're looking for! Shoot me a message! Jen
I have lived in Sydney for 28 years. I am a "physically small", easy-going, kind and considerate person. I weight approx. 55Kg and my height is 164cm. I would almost consider myself as a "Metrosexual Male". I am a non-alcoholic, I don't drink or smoke but I don't mind having flatmates who do. I am a vegetarian except for fish (I am happy to live with non-vegetarian flatmates). I live a "less sociable" lifestyle and it is very unlikely that I will intefere with other people's private/social life. However I would love to have some friends to have a chat with, and go out shopping at the supermarkets every so often. I am very respectful of other's privacy and belongings. To prove that I have a good rental history of paying rent on time, I have kept all the rent payment invoices from my (Licenced) Real Estate Agent over the past 6 months. At the moment my weekly budget for rent is $250-$300/wk. During weekdays, I cannot get to a PC during business hours, so if you send me a message via the website, please be prepared to wait until the evening for a reply. Please note that during busy periods, I may not logon to the flatmates website for a few days. If you are interested, we can arrange to meet for a quick face to face introduction. Thank you for your understanding. Cheers.
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. Please don't contact me for shared rooms, living rooms or rooms split with dividers. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
Hello! I'm a 22 yr old from Sydney who loves animals and a good nap. I'm usually not home much as I work 2 jobs (assistant manager at restaurant and cocktail waitress) so I can come home at weird times of the day (sometimes 6am, sometimes 2pm) but when I am home I love to kick back with a wine. I'm a really quiet person so even if I do get home late I will always be respectful and be as quiet as I can so I don't wake anyone up. If I get a night off I love to cook and bake, especially chocolate brownies. They're my favourite!
Hi potential flatmates I'm Joe recently moved back to Sydney from qld. I'm 32 and work in construction. I am enjoy going to the gym, playing sport or relaxing at home. Sharing a meal or a drink it's all good. I also enjoy doing my own thing so I won't need baby-sitting lol. I can cook ( unbelievable ) and cleaning is always easy with music. If you want a fun, clean independent flatmate hit me up.
I'm a canadian geologist and have been working and studying australia. I'm very easy going and laid back and Happy to help out with chores. I am not a partier but love a little social atmosphere within my house where house mates might have a family meal or go out for a drink once in awhile. I love cats so I'm looking for a cat friendly place. I would ideally like to live with no more than 3-4 people in the house. I have quite a few things so looking for a place that has space for extra storage. I also require flexibility in terms of length of stay. I am not picky whether the room is furnished or not. If its not furnished the room need to have a built in robe and be large enought to fit a queen bed. I do have a car so parking is a must .
I'm 23 years old, working permanent part time in the city (25-35hrs a week) and studying full time at Maq uni. I'm a very easy going, bubbly and friendly person who is extremely reliable and tidy. I like to cook, read and have a chat over coffee or drinks. On my days off I like to go for lunch or go for a nice walk. I'll be mostly spending my time studying or working, but am always up to hang out. I'm available to move in at any time.
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
I really have no idea what to write here so I'll keep it short. ... I work full time and have for the past 20 years,. Moving house is one thing I hate doing so I'm looking for something long term.
I am a professional, female design engineer aged 42 and seeking a modern room with own bathroom. I am mature minded, humorous, warm hearted and respectful of others. I prefer to share with other mature-minded women, probably between 30 and 65 years old. I am English and am currently visiting Australia. I seek accommodation for the last 2 months of my trip and am flexible on location - any suburb within the region bounded by Strathfield in the east, the airport to the south and the north and west coasts. I would be very pleased to talk with you about sharing. Kind regards, Kellie
Pretty easy going person, likes to hang out with friends and binge watch Netflix. Work mostly Monday to Friday and spend a fair bit of time interstate during the week. Don't mind a drink over the weekends, and while not much of a cook I can order Menulog like a boss.
I'm 22 years old, and an emerging actor/writer. That and casual work keeps me pretty busy, but in my downtime I'm keen on watching netflix or hanging out with friends. I run and cycle pretty much every day, I'm a vegan (not an annoying one though, it doesn't bother me at all if you eat meat). I like the occasional house party but I also really appreciate a calm, clean living space. The house be queer friendly, and not have cats (I'm allergic, but dogs are fine).
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and going rock climbing on weekends.
Hi I am Liv. I am happy, neat, relaxed and friendly. I am looking for some housemates who want to make the house we find a happy home. I have lived in Sydney for nearly four years but I have always just lived with one other housemate. I am excited to go into a house with around 3-4 other people as I am a people-lover and am a huge extrovert. I want to be with people who are positive and happy and who will not say no to hanging out over some wine.
I'm a easy going professional female who works in the city in a 9-5 job. I'm pretty quiet during the week and on the weekends I like to catch up with friends. I happy to eat the occasional meal together and chat over a vino or two but I'm aware of giving people their space.
Easy to live with, bubbly, sociable but like to have quite times on my own watching movies or documentary. Love cooking meals, I am non-smoker but like to have couple of drinks. Have a teenage daughter and shy cat call lulu. looking to move in with one extra person to share accommodation with us and live close to the city.
Hi, I'm looking a short or long term room, ideally a relaxed, positive home with genuine people. Consider myself to be easygoing and considerate. I have full time job with an eCommerce company. Been share housing for a while and always pay my bills on time. My interests are cycling, travel, movies and live music. I'm from South America, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I speak Spanish and am happy to help you practice :)
You're typical laid back, fun-loving Aussie bloke. Recently finished a 7 month trip through Europe, South America and the USA. I work in the city full-time, but on the weekends you'll often find me at the beach or out with friends. My talents include; cooking a mean pad thai, well tuned shower singing and I'm well toilet trained. I'm also tidy and always down to hang out and have a laugh. Also looking for people interested in joining my basketball team (not required for house lol).
Hi! I'm Oscar, fine arts student and part-time charity fundraiser hailing from glorious Woodford (population 200) in the Blue Mountains. I'm an upbeat, open-minded and considerate individual hoping to share a home with people of a similar disposition, with a utopic vision of clean shared areas and a fine balance of sociability and keep-to-oneself-ness dependent on the situation. I like listening to jazz, reading, drawing, gardening and playing basketball (although I injured my back a few months ago and have had to sub out the basketball with swimming for the time being. I try to be warm and positive and I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!
LOOKING FOR TWO ROOMS. Hi! My name is Liam and I am a 4th year Veterinary Medicine student at The University of Sydney. My brother Sean and I are looking for two separate rooms relatively close to Sydney Uni. Sean is in his third year of Marine Biology at Sydney Uni. I have lived in share housing for three years now and have got it pretty much down pat. I can cook, clean and live cohesively with other people. I know how gross dishes left in the sink all weekend can be... I am at uni everyday and work on weekends at a local pub and sometimes during the week as a student ambassador the Sydney Uni. I am a quiet housemate as I am studying most of the time, but love having the odd dinner with housemates and friends and sitting around the lounge room just chatting. Sean and I are from a small country town in NSW and moved to Sydney for uni. I love to skateboard, go to the gym and go to heavy metal gigs. I would like to find a cool place with my brother Sean who does 2nd year Marine Biology at USYD. We would prefer to move into an established sharehouse and have no doubts we would fit well into anywhere we move into. Pets are cool, and I have no doubt I'd get along well with your dog or cat!
Hi! I'm Rodrigo but you can call me Rod. I just finished my Bachelor of Architecture and I'm looking forward to spending a year on a Working Holiday Visa in Australia. I'm a very friendly and chilled guy. I'm clean and tidy. I don't really like partying. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I'm very active and enjoy the outdoors and fitness.
Hi I’m Rhiannon, I’m a 27yr old professional currently working full time in jewellery buying. What makes me a great housemate, besides the fact that I can make a mean chicken fajita & I own a guacamole making device? I am tidy & I take pride in a clean home. I am friendly, easy to get along, considerate & don’t slam doors. I enjoy a good chat, a laugh and healthy dose of sarcasm. I have previously lived in Dulwich Hill, Leichhardt & most recently Russell Lea; I have really enjoyed living these areas and am happy to stay around here but at the same time am also open to a location change as I enjoy the North too. I have all my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is highly preferable as well as bit and pieces to add to the household if wanted Any questions, just let me know :) My move date can be quite flexible so please ignore the above date
I'm a 25 year old finishing off my second degree, looking for a home for my two cats and I somewhat close to the city. I'm pretty chilled and laid back, and tend to work late nights. I'm clean and considerate and quiet. I'm a bit of a bookworm and also fond of the odd night out. As I have two kitties, I would prefer somewhere pet friendly. They give great snuggles, I promise!
I'm a responsible teenager who is looking for a safe place to live. I believe i can make a great roomie as i can help you out with anything and also keep you great company! I'm Fijian-Indian and i was born in Sydney.
I've recently moved back to Australia after a stint working overseas, I'm now working full time and looking for a place to share in Sydney. I haven't lived in Sydney for about six years, so i'm keen to join a reasonably social household and meet some new people.
I work in Chippendale full time as a writer for a marketing agency, and am studying my Cert III in Dog Trainership and Obedience on the side (so I'm pretty obsessed with dogs!) Into the gym, attempting to cook good food, watching movies, singing jazz music, playing piano and all that excellent stuff! Happy to be social or keep to myself! I'll be away for course training until the 18th March, and then looking to find somewhere for after that. Just thought I'd put the early call out! Basically looking for a place to crash and relax during the week after work :)
I am from Turkey and 28 years old guy. I am a postgraduate student in Sydney. looking for house where I can find friendly people.
I'm a second year film and advertising student at UTS. I'm from the Blue Mountains and I'm looking for a place closer to uni. I'm a pretty chilled person, who's not overly into partying - but I do like a social drink or two. I love film, TV, books and photography.
A very easy going person. Im really easy to get along with. I enjoy having my own time and respect others privacy. Im in the final semester of uni, a civil engineering student at UTS I work at a company in St Peters.
Very clean and tidy, respectful and sensitive to others in the house. Quiet yet sociable, Australian single female, no kids, relaxed with a great sense of humour and very easy to get along with. Loves animals so if you have pets it's a bonus!
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst. I used to work as a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments and a burning desire to perform again one day. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, a spot of toilet humour, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
I'm Lorena, 20 years old and looking for a nice, friendly and quiet place to stay in Sydney. I'm a happy and friendly person, always happy to help und to spend some time in company and also alone to give some space. I'm working most weekdays and love to watch some Netflix with a nice chat and wine. I'm always open for any kind of adventures on the weekend and like to go out for a drink or to see a gig.
Hey I'm Lana Looking for somewhere nice and lovely to live! I work part time and love to read, have a good feed and chill with my housies! I am super tidy and quiet so don't you worry about a thing! As a housemate I am clean considerate and easy to get along with!
I'm a mature male who is work focused, stable, clean and tidy. I'm a trainer and a coach, who gets along with a wide variety of people. I respect the people around me for who they are and what they stand for. I'm married and my wife and son are living overseas.
I'm organize, clean , and quite I need a clean room , studio , I need to feel at home I work in construction
I'm about to start a social work degree at Sydney Uni and I'm a musician. Last year I finished my BA of Music, majoring in Contemporary vocals, and in my downtime love to write and perform soul music. I work at a bar in Erskineville so I've always got lots of stories, at home I'm chilled out in my downtime and always up for a chat/bevvy. Also know how to keep a place clean as I've been living in sharehouses for a couple of years.
Im a friendly and clean person. Im study at city with my own business. I like photography, gaming, enjoy different kind of wine. I wish to have a drum in future. I hope I can found another "home" at Sydney. Please feel free to drop a message. :)
Location flexible: looking for a private room in a quality environment in most parts of Sydney. I'm a single, mature-minded, quiet, and respectful full-time IT professional and occasional music nerd with an intellectual/artistic bent. I like to work from home if that's acceptable to all in the household. Parking required.
My name is Robert Williams, I’m 27 and originally from Queanbeyan, which is a smallish town just outside Canberra. I have lived in Queanbeyan/Canberra for most of my life but have travelled extensively and lived in York UK and share house accommodation in Canberra. I’m moving to Sydney to start a PhD in archaeology at University of Sydney. I’m terribly excited to jump into life in Sydney. Obviously I’m not perfect, but I would say that I’m pretty easy to live with. I’m considerate and very respectful of other views and opinions. Definitely not judgmental, clean and tidy (non-smoker) and I try my best to contribute to the household. I’m also Indigenous Australian. In my spare time, something I don’t seem to have a lot of, I enjoy training (boxing, running, rugby, touch football, etc.), I coach boxing (generally volunteer), play a little guitar, reading, painting, fishing and catching up with family and friends. I try to eat well (a little food conscious) but also enjoy a few treats and liquid supplements with friends on the weekend.
I'm Kate. Ideally would love to meet someone interested in starting up a new lease together in the inner-west or finding a house that needs a new resident. I've got no set date but need to find somewhere before June. I'm 22 and work full-time in the standard office 9-5 sense. I go to heaps of gigs, watch TV shows for days at a time until the episodes run out, drink coffee, bake cakes, try and make friends with cats on the street. I've lived in sharehouses for a few years now, so I know the deal. I clean up after myself and do housework, I'm pretty quiet and chilled, respect space etc. etc. all the things you'd want your housemate to do. Send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your setup/house-hunting goals!
