Hey there, want to go get a great apartment/house and make it a home?? Turns out that my Tinder profile is probably the best way to introduce myself: 'Business Analyst who is in a constant struggle between the desire to be fit and healthy and an overwhelming love of food and beverages.' Given we'd be committing to a bit more than a drink you probably need more info...single (if the Tinder reference didn't give it away), 32yr old non-smoking professional. I’m pretty easy going, social and enjoy a laugh and ideally would live with someone who enjoys being a bit silly also. I've got a pretty dry sense of humour so someone who doesn't offend easily please! Having said all that, home is the place I want to walk into and feel 100% relaxed so I really want to live in a clean house (clean not clinical!) as I've lived with unclean people (think overflowing trash, dishes piled in sinks for days, etc) before and it doesn't suit me. It will be no fun for either of us if we're not compatible in this. I fall on both ends of the healthy--unhealthy spectrum in that I try to go to the gym in the mornings (absolutely up for creating a bit of a home gym if we have the space btw) and eat healthy during the week. That is one side...the other is that I love going out for breakfasts, dinners and drinks. I love weekends away, cinema and tv marathons. I'm thinking a pretty decent place so probably $700-900 between two of us but we can discuss. I would hope we'd put some effort into setting it up well also so we're happy and comfortable. I am open to living with more than one other person if we can get the right people and place. Must haves for me: > good amount of light but ways to keep the place shaded/cool > a good gas kitchen (I meal prep) > aircon, preferably ducted into bedrooms (I've spent the last few years living without aircon and just can't do another three months/yr with crappy sleep) > either a car space or happy to park on the street if there is a parking permit available and enough space > location wise, close to train station but hopefully on a quiet side street & decent size bedrooms If it sounds like we might get along, please give me a call or drop me a message. A.
Hi Im Patricia! I enjoy hanging out with my friends and reading a good book. I work full time in Administration at Chopping Norton so will be up early in the morning. I also enjoy going to the gym most days
I'm a young(ish) professional returning for further education in Psychology, so I'll be studying and working about equally. My partner lives rurally, but will likely come visit once a month or so, and I'll probably be gone every few weekends to see him. Love to socialize over a drink, but will also be tucked away studying lots of the time as well. I love performing arts and creativity, cooking and cocktails, so I hope you don't mind the noise of a sewing machine or martini shaker!
Hi, I am Lara, a 25 year old Science Student at UNSW. I am looking for a new place to call home for at least 6 months preferably a little longer! I am usually either at uni or work a lot to finance my unhealthy coffee addiction and expensive Sydney life. I am very easy going and clean, very social and would love to live with like minded people I can hang out with after a stressful day and grab a glass of wine and dinner with from time to time. I am looking to move around end of February. I am not looking for a shared room. Please don’t message me if your room is above $250 p.w. as this is out of my price range, thank you,
I clean up after myself and i'm super laid back. I have friendly well trained cat named Casper that goes where I go and is a generally cool guy. I work 4-5 nights a week and usually sleep till the afternoon. Fashion buff, arty farty & fairly spiritual 🦋 Not interested in sharing a room. Not looking outside the inner west. Not interested in rooms that don't allow pets! Thank you!
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a long-term (at least 4 months) private room in an apartment/shared house starting from February the 25th. I'm going to work a full-time at a company in Sydney, Sydney, so I'm looking for a place not so far from there or easy to get to with the public transport (less than 30 min by bus/train). My budget is 200$ pw. Hope you can help me find a room. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks
I'm a Canberra born and bred pharmacy student at the University of Sydney. My previous housemate's boyfriend moved in, so I'm now looking for some new scenery! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or just want to get to know me a little better.
I'm French, 30 years old, I have a full time job in a restaurant in Sydney CBD and I would like to get close to it for the next three months (I live actually at Canterbury). I'm calm, clean and respectful. I work all week and sometimes weekends. I looking for a private room.
I'm moving to Sydney to study a Master of Development Studies at USYD full-time. I've been working in media and communications for an NGO in CBR and will look for similar part-time work in Sydney. In my spare time I am usually reading/writing at home, meeting friends, or out walking and maybe visiting a gallery or something else arts-oriented. Vices include cute pets, wine and cheese - would love to live somewhere in the inner west with likeminded souls of similar age where these three things feature regularly! Like most people I like a balance of privacy and socialising with housemates, and I clean up after myself and expect the same in return. Send me a message if you think I would fit in well at your place!
Im a respectful, mature and personable person. I’m not interested in party houses. I’m a teacher and naturally bring work home to do. I don’t like being cooped up in the room all day/night and would ideally like a shared workspace/office in the living area or another room. Background noise is completely fine with me. Living with other professionals who understand a reasonable lifestyle at home through the work week is something that would ideally be mutually important. Don’t mind a good chat over dinner and wine or doing things together if we have shared interests whenever there are free moments. Love to get out on the weekends and catch up with friends and family. Enjoy swimming, dancing, rock climbing, literature - I read a lot (being a teacher), theatre, films, hiking, travelling, food and live music. Love jazz. Equally I enjoy my quiet r&r. There’s always work to do so I may make time for that on weekends during busier periods. I like to have home cooked meals and eat out only when catching up with friends or with company, so I tend to meal prep whenever I can - usually at weekends. Enjoy baking, not a great cook haha. I always pay my bills on time! I work well with any scheduled house chores, shelving order or communal kitty. I’m great at keeping my own space and shared areas tidy and clean and would love for housemates to do their share too. I wipe down surfaces after use, clean and put away kitchenware after use, help keep floors clean and just generally an adult who picks up after herself. I’m communal minded, so if I see that the trash is full, I’ll take it out... - all the common sense and curtesy stuff you’d love for a housemate to have and I wish for the same of others. I wouldn’t mind having friends over for a chat over wine or dinner occasionally and on nights that are reasonable for everyone else. None of them are party people and are all very respectful. I’m also great with communication and good at asking if things are okay with others, cool if it’s not, just let me know👍🏼. Would love a place that feels safe, drama free and filled with other respectful, mature and kind people :)
Hi guys, my name is Louis but people normally just call me Lou. I am looking for an existing place or like minded people to share a place with. This will be my first time out of home, something I am very excited about and have thought of for a while now but had to put off to pursue of other goals. It is now the time for me to do this. Though I have never lived out before, don't fret, I am well travelled and shared all types of accomodation with people before. By trade, I am a professional in the finance industry specialising in commercial lending. Work's pretty full on so I'll be out with the extracurricular activities I do until mid evening most weekdays. My weekends will be involve a mix of downtime/relaxation; socialising and catch ups and pursuing my interests. My hobbies and interest constantly change (I get bored quick!) but for now its gym, muay thai, travel, food and personal development. Places/housemates I would be interested in are: - Clean and tidy - With my own bathroom ensuite preferred (but not essential) - Offstreet parking - Modern style apartment - Has a warm homely ambience - No more than two other housemates - Non party house - Has internet - Convenience to transport and amenities The housemate I would be is: - clean and tidy (semi OCD) - respectful and considerate - sociable - lets chat or hang out but also will let you do you and have your space - easy going
I'm a healthcare professional, working full-time in western Sydney. I enjoy reading, music, and podcasts. I generally like to relax at home on weeknights, and hang out with friends on the weekend. I've lived in a number of sharehouses so I'm well house-trained. ;-) I'm looking to live with 1-2 housemates, preferably with someone who has similar left-leaning / progressive values.
I'm a free spirit. I was born in America, but I am of Argentine/Cuban heritage. I work with individuals who suffer from mental illnesses, so I'd say I'm naturally a very patient and understanding person. I'm looking for temporary accommodations. I am a very clean, organized person. And well, I hope to make new friends through my journey, so I'd love to meet like minded individuals that appreciate the little things in life.
My name is Marvin, 32 years old. I am bubbly, likes watching movies, having a drink sometimes, going to the beach and generally just relaxing. I’m looking for a place that I can call home as well. I am currently working in North Sydney as a Paralegal in a law firm and will become a solicitor in months’ time (fingers crossed). I am clean, pays rent on time, mindful of someone else’s privacy but wouldn’t mind sharing a meal or drink.
Hello! I'm in Sydney on working holiday from the US. I'm really just looking for my own space to sleep in when I'm not working. I would love to meet and become friends with my flatmates, but I'm not overbearing and understand people needing space! Looking to move in ASAP (I'm getting kicked out of my current place on the 23rd.) I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey potential housemates, I'm Dee. An Aussie who's been overseas for the better part of the last 10 years. Getting settled back in Sydney now & looking for a home. I'm a graphic designer & capoeirista. I'm a seasoned housemate - no worries about paying bills & pulling my weight with the housework. Non smoking, single, easygoing and seeking a place to call home. Cheers,
Hi, I am a 28 year old woman working as a full time dental professional. I am seeking an apartment that is NEW or NEAR NEW in the areas I have listed. I do not smoke and I don’t drink. I enjoy working out and keeping healthy/active. I am OCD clean (yeah it’s annoying). I need off street parking. 🙂
* Female professional from the Philippines with regular working hours * Prefers all-female household only (no couples) * Very clean and willing to do my share of cleaning in a shared house * Non smoker * Loves cats, music and food * Interests include travelling, exploring new places, cooking, having an active lifestyle, food trip and sports * Looking for friendly, responsible, easygoing and adventurous flatmates :)
Hi There!! I am a full time accounts clerk working in the city, looking to move closer to work! Yay! I'm very laid back and love a glass of wine to unwind. I am looking for a relaxed, tidy place to call home.
I'm a 24 year old from Newcastle originally who's just landed a big girl job in the city that starts 11th of Feb. Looking to move in to a share house somewhere in the inner west within walking distance to a train station and living with other like minded 20-30 somethings. I'll be working 9-5 so will be pretty chill on week nights, however am down for the occasional house dinner and board game night. On weekends we can hopefully share some cheap wine from aldi and eat a lot of cheese. I have friends around Sydney and will have friends visiting from home occasionally and staying over so you've got to be okay with that - obviously will give everyone notice. I still haven't mastered the art of hanging my clothes back on the hanger, but I always keep communal areas clean (cockroaches make me cry). I prefer tea over coffee, always get too drunk and pester the DJ to play beyonce, love trashy romcoms and my celebrity couple crush is Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster-Blake.
