We're clean and respectful and have really interesting jobs/lifestyle and like to make the most of our time! Happy to share a house with easy going, responsible like minded people.
I'm Thalía and I'm Mexican. I'll be doing my postgraduate studies at the UTAS, so I'll be at the Uni all day. However, I do like to explore around and travel. I'm a respectful and clean person who loves movies and chilling. I'm a coffeeholic and I avoid eating meat, although I don't consider myself as veggie.
Hi My name is Md Ruhul Amin, you can call me Ruhul. I am 28 years old. I am going to join in UTAS as a PhD student at the end of April 2018 and I will be doing PhD in Electrical Engineering in UTAS Hobart. I am Trustworthy, Hardworking, Flexible, Easygoing, Respect other's privacy, Down to earth and obviously tidy. I would prefer to cook my own food. I like to socialize with people from different culture. I need quiet and calm environment for my study. Looking for somewhere near the UTAS or 2-3km far from UTAS, but reasonably close to shop. As a student, I'll need wifi, and have a reasonable but not massive budget for both rent and sharing bills if they aren't included. The first contact is minimum 3 months. However if accommodation is very comfortable and good environment for studying I have no problem to extent contract for whole PhD duration.
Hello! I'm a 29 year old, full time worker, non smoker currently living in Hobart. I'm looking for a room within the greater hobart area. I come with a 7 year old rescue greyhound, Dolly. She's very quiet and well mannered and sleeps for most of the day. I'd like to think of myself as very friendly and easy going, i'm quiet but social and very much respect your space and privacy. When I'm not at work, I'm either out hiking/camping/enjoying the outdoors in some capacity or relaxing with a book/record/glass (or bottle) of wine.

I'm Polish 35 yo hospitality professional recently relocated to Hobart from Melbourne. I'm mature, but young at heart, very easy to live with, and very well trained in house sharing, as I've been managing shared accommodation in the last five years, hosting people of every possible age and background. My idea of good time is a homemade meal shared with like minded people, accompanied by glass of wine and a good laugh. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors, and hone my cooking skills whenever I can, that is when my busy schedule permits. My plan for this year is also to see as much of Tasmania as possible, so I will probably be out exploring over the weekends. As I do work quite a lot, I'm looking for a quiet and relaxed place with mature, respectful housemates. And if some of them walk on four paws, even better :)
Hey, I'm Harrison, 24 from Sydney and I will love your pet. I'm friendly, honest and genuine, clean and tidy who's also pretty handy at times. Truly I'm an outdoorsy kid who loves adventures and exploring. Im hoping to find some like minded people who have a bit of fun every now and again. I hope you choose me because I can be fun and i really need a place to stay ( :
Ola, weird gal from Queensland, 24, got my feed of city life after living in melbournia for several years and am ready to move on. Beginning study at UTAS in Feb, work hospo currently but hoping to get out eventually. Looking to move asap. I'm pretty laid back as long as everyone is putting in/doing fair share ect. Clean as hell, respectful, bit of a home body; love cooking, eating, gym, climbing, animals, playing music, camping/hiking and reading. Always up for a bit of a chat but need alone time as well. Like parties occasionally but it's not really what I want to be surrounded by when I'm at home trying to relax or study etc. Definitely important we get along but in saying that I'm pretty easy going and honest so as long as we can have a normal conversation we'll be sweet. Can be annoying due to aloofness, inability to remember things people say and non-apologetic cackle laugh. Sorry. Thoughtful and abrasive. Ups to free speech and diversity. ok i think this enough, peace
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - so we're likely to get along if we can communicate honestly about housekeeping from day one. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)

As much as I enjoy spend time with friends, I also appreciate quiet and personal space, especially when studying.

Hi, I'm Patrick, a 27 years old moving to Hobart from Newcastle, NSW to study Marine Biology at UTAS and IMAS. Coming from a beach town, I'm a pretty active person; physically and socially! Having lived in share houses in Newy and also in London, I know how they work! I'm a very respectful housemate, but also love getting to know the people I live with! Week nights are for chilling, uni work and netflix. Weekends are for margaritas and cheeseboards. Am crashing with a friend of a friend at the moment, but super keen to move ASAP! So I hope to hear from you! Patty
Hi I'm Iain, A 25 year old recent Physio grad relocating to Hobart for work. I'm a social person, who loves the outdoors. My favourite hobbies include basketball, surfing, camping and snowboarding. I enjoy living an active healthy lifestyle. I've lived in share houses previously in Melbourne & coastal Victoria. I am clean and respectful of house rules. I'm a relaxed, friendly and easy going person.
Hi guys! I am a student from the Czech Republic, currently moved to Hobart from Cairns. I am going to study Diploma of Laboratory Technology at TasTAFE for two years. I am also trying to find a work at the moment, preferably as a bartender with night shifts. I don't have any car, nor I am planing to have one soon. So I am looking for a place within reasonable range from the city central. I am very friendly and flexible, talkative and almost always in a good mood. I am respectful and easy-going. I have a great bartending experience, so I can mix a good drink for you! I like adventure, traveling, nature and music. I am also an artist and songwriter myself - a rapper, to be more specific. I am also interested in science, especially biology. People say my soul is much older then my actual age is. I like to talk about conspiracies, especially while drinking wine or whiskey (my favorite drinks). Although I enjoy to drink with my friends, I am normally very quiet and respectful, so you don't have to be worried about unwanted surprises in the house. My flexibility with any type of people, houses and lifestyles won't leave you disappointed. Have a great day and hopefully see you soon!
Hi there, My name is Paul. I am 29 years old. I have relocated to Hobart to study at UTAS. I'm quiet, tidy and like to keep to myself. I'm easy to get along with. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking. I can supply references upon request. Thanks :)
I am originally from Germany, but have been living in Tasmania for over four years. I am quiet, tidy and enjoy cleaning. In my spare time I like to study and read and go hiking. I like the outdoors and love travelling. It would be nice to not only find flatmates, but make some new friends as well.
I am a student at UTAS who just moved here on Sunday night. I am staying at a hotel and I have to check out by tomorrow morning (Feb 21st). I am a chilled out person who is easy going and respectful of others. I am a neat and tidy person who cleans up well after myself. I need to find accommodation ASAP as I am by myself here and I have to move in somewhere soon. Thanks
Hi I'm Ben! I'm currently living in New Town and working in Mental Health, but I am about to commence studying at the UTAS Conservatorium of Music. Music is my main passion, but I also enjoy martial arts, rollerblading, comic books (not the superhero kind) and being outdoors. I'm very open minded and enjoy a good discussion about anything, as I am fascinated by the world and everything in it. Like any good housemate, I am social and collaborative, but respect boundaries and personal space. I don't make a lot of noise and am not much of a party person, but do enjoy celebrating triumphs, whether they be my own or of others. I am quite a tidy and relaxedly ordered person, I like to look after spaces so they can be enjoyed by everyone, and will always wash/wipe/sweep/vacuum/mop/scrub/scrape/steam clean/polish/disinfect/fumigate/pressure hose/fire extinguish/quarantine etc. At this point, I am flexible around when I can move in, and can provide rental and employment references.
Hi! I’m a student in grade 12 at Elizabeth College. I work at Hill Street in West Hobart and I’m also a reservist in the Defence Force Army. I have also worked as an office cleaner for four years. I’m looking for affordable accommodation for myself that is within bussing distance to my school. I have been brought up in a loving, hard working family. I would love to live with other young people who can work well as a team. Thank you!

Moving to Hobart from Adelaide for work, and would love to share with some friendly peeps!! Love music, vintage, adventuring and pets (have to leave mine behind and am so sad!). I’m a hard worker, always will lend a hand and am reliable. I’ve been renting for the last 5 years so am more than able to manage money and contribute to the household. Would love to live with like-minded, friendly individuals, hope to hear from you!
I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I like watching and playing sports. If Im home you will often find me streaming the NBA or playing something on my PC. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
