I'm a UTAS student studying a Bachelor of Music at the Conservatorium, originally from the Mainland, looking for somewhere nice to stay for the summer break. I major in songwriting and am a multi-instrumentalist (guitar is my main jam) but am always respectful of my housemates and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during "quiet hours" (like late at night and early morning). I'm considerate of others, tidy and always clean up after myself. I also respect other people's belongings and personal space and would expect my flatmates to do the same. However, this doesn't mean I wouldn't be game to cook something nice to share with you, or hang out! My main interests are music, writing, cooking, quality film and television, reading and exploring nature. I have to move out of my current accommodation before November 24 but can move in earlier if required, and move out after February 2. I also have a bike (push cycle) and a car, so ideally there will be parking readily available on-site.
Hi there, we are Lidia & Scott. Originally from Melbourne, we moved to Tassie a year ago. We are respectful, friendly, clean & tidy. We love food & cooking, films & bingeable TV shows but also love travel, the outdoors & socialising. Scott loves sports & keeping fit & Lidia is into badminton & picnics. We both work full-time, Scott is a whisky distiller & Lidia works at UTAS, so ideally we would like to live near Sandy Bay or West Hobart (including surrounding suburbs). Scott works in Bothwell & will be away 4 nights a week so we are looking for a sharehouse with a nice, friendly person/people that is sociable and easy going.
Hello! I'm Clare, I'm a student at UTAS and I also work for the university as a student mentor and outreach worker. I like to cook, run and sing (not at home!) and try to live sustainably where I can. I'm a tidy, responsible and friendly housemate; I like my quiet time but also enjoy sharing a cuppa or occasional meal. I'll be moving in the middle of November and I'm looking for a room in a house with a kindred spirit or two; or a studio or granny flat.
Howdy, I am moving to Hobart from Melbourne in December ( ill be on the ferry on 24th) to complete an internship at the RHH, with an indefinite length of stay (at least 12 months). I am a pretty social and outgoing person and love to enjoy a few vinos of the weekend. love to cook (ill bring my pasta machine with me) and am very clean. I try to keep a balanced lifestyle and stay fit with alot of trail running and some yoga. Looking for a place to call home and plant a vegetable patch. Contact me if you have a spare room! (sorry about all the brackets) Thanks, Annabelle
Hi! I'm moving to Tas for a postdoc at IMAS studying Southern Ocean carbon cycling. Originally I'm from San Diego, California and have been hoping around the east coast of the US for the last decade or so (North Carolina, Boston, DC). After grad-schooling in Boston I spent the last year working in renewable energy at the US Department of Energy in DC but am excited to get back into academia (and closer to the outdoors!). Outside of work I like to climb and will likely be doing that most weekends (would love to room with another climber!). I also surfed a lot growing up and will likely be getting back into that. On the less adventurous side I like to play tennis and basketball, though I'm pretty bad at both... Non-sports wise I like to see and listen to music, hang out at bars, eat yummy food, etc, etc. Home-wise, I have a massive amount of records and books I can bring to the table. I imagine I'll climb most days after works, and typically get home around 8 or 9, and then like to throw on a record or rot my brain on some TV. Love to have friends over for food and or games. Roommate-wise I'm definitely looking for like-minded people that I'd look forward to coming home to and kicking it with. Happy to chat on Skype or face time or something....these things are awkward. Feel free to stalk me on the internet (I*G*: earthrockandsound, L*a*s*t N*a*m*e: rohr). I don't move down till March 1 but would be amenable to signing into something earlier if it is the right situation. Finnnnnnallllly, I'm also looking into buying a house and renting out some rooms. So if you are interesting in teaming up and don't have a plan yet, that could also be an option! Cheers, Tyler
I'm a nurse from England keen for new experiences and working around Australia to gain a new perspective on life and work. I'm usually either at work or out exploring in my converted ute, but when I am at home I'm social but respectful of privacy and like to have a nice clean and comfortable base to go to nursing shifts from.

I’m a HR professional and my partner is a hotel manager and both of us are looking for a peaceful place to rest and reenergise after a work day. On the weekends we like to explore nature and trails. Visiting markets and attend to community events are also things we enjoy doing and also spend time with friends. During a week day we enjoy cooking dinner and watch tv shows on netflix. Some meditation and sound healing are also thing we are into. Not smokers.
Hello, I'm moving to Hobart from Townsville and am looking for a short term or long term rental. I am environmentally conscious, clean and tidy person. Am looking for a house mate with a similar mindset. I like a mix of social and solo time and love to get out in nature. The atmosphere of a house is important to me - I love a place with a good vibe and nice light! It would be nice to share with someone/people who like to share the occasional meal and see some music together etc. I am a school teacher and moving to Hobart to continue studies in marine biology. Looking for a peaceful, respectful, concious house share. I like pets.
Hey I’m Kate and I’m moving down from Brisbane to do my PhD at UTAS. Never been to tassie, but keen for the adventure. Hoping to live with someone likeminded, however I’ve lived with a bunch of different people so I’m pretty flexible. I’ll know no one in Hobart, so if you enjoy the outdoors that would be a big plus.
Hello! I've recently moved to Tasmania and am looking for a home. I love the Tasmania lifestyle, the outdoors, books, movies, art, yoga, nature and learning about sustainability and growing food. I work full time in the city and have the flexibility to work from home, travelling interstate for training and meetings every few months. I'm a fully grown adult who has lived in share houses for many years, some housemates have become life long friends but that is never the expectation!
Hi, I had just finished completing a Masters Degree at UTAS. Now, looking to stay and find some work in Hobart for about 6 months. I like staying in shape by going to the gym. I also, like spending time outdoors (nature and so forth). I am an Australian. I am just looking for one other person to share a house, preferably one who is quiet and who respects others peoples privacy and space!
30 year old winemaker from Adelaide, moving down to Hobart for at least the next 3-6 months, but hoping to make it longer term. Pretty chill sort of guy, neat without being too neat, quiet without being too quiet. Do enjoy a drink.
Hi, My name is Alana, I'm Brazilian and an architect I'm a recent arrival in Tasmania to study. I’m looking for a part-time job in Hobart too. ♥ 😉 I love everything related to art, cooking, plants🌱🌿, ceramics and good wine sometimes. I'm very easy to get along with. I am potentially interested in a room. I Would like to do an inspection. 🙂 Thanks
I'm in my mid 20s. I work part time and I am studying Community Support. I'm gay. I'm looking for a long-term home to share with great people! When I'm not working or studying I like to play games, do crafts, read, and socialise. I love listening to and playing music. I like a friendly and social household, where people can hang out together and cook shared meals - especially a BBQ! I like a respectful household where shared spaces are always welcoming. I like to chat and hang out, but I also like to be able to have space when I want.
