I am not much of a drinker but l do like sitting while lounging to have a drink or 2, as for smoking don't smoke in my own house probably if out with friends or something, the schedule is pretty easy during the straight as for the timetable,I have 1 small side table thats all. Yes, I am on student visa. I am single. I am willing to commit for 6 months at least if I like the place then it can be more aswel. I don't cook much just basic stuff probably. that's all
I'm a young guy 24yr old looking for a place to live, wanting somewhere that has a communal place or a living room but also need my own room. To be honest I work a lot so I'm not home that much and I work nights but I am also quiet and considerate when it comes to others sleeping. I'm will to move out as far as Brunswick East if I can't find anything close to the city. And I am also wanting to get a cat (Or a snake, haven't decided yet) IF the opportunity arises. Just a heads up on that front. Oh and I come with a PS4... If that helps 😉
I am looking for a shared accommodation in the Melbourne area (less than 10 km from CBD). I am a 28-year-old female from Europe studying and working, so I am looking for a place to study and relax. I am not looking for a party house, just a place where I will feel like home. I am quiet and always clean after myself, I do not smoke. On my days off I like to go out for a walk, go to the gym, watch Netflix and read. I also love animals so this is not a problem if you have nice pets to share the flat with. I work in hospitality so I will leave home early and come back late. I am looking for a place around 140-170 dollars a week, bills and internet included, and will be able to move in around 20th February or later. I'd rather share a room with a female. Please email me if you have a place to offer and I will get back to you. Cheers !
Hi! I'm a lawyer who has just moved to Melbourne to work in the CBD. I'm open to an existing flatshare or to teaming up. I'm looking for a long-term place in the CBD/Southbank area. The move-in date is flexible. I am originally from Melbourne but have spent the last couple of years working at a court in Canberra. I am super easy to live with and have always got on very well with flatmates. As a full-time worker with fairly long hours, I'm well attuned to the need for space and quiet time. I'm also very responsible with rental/bill payments (I managed all outgoings at my last place) and with keeping the place clean and tidy. In my spare time I enjoy talking about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts, and cooking and baking. If you are interested in teaming up, please feel free to send me a message so we can have a chat about our preferences.
Hi there! I'm a 24 year old recent university graduate who is making the move from Adelaide to Melbourne for work - a 9-5 in a policy position with the Victorian Government. I like reading, writing (or, more accurately contemplating writing), binge-watching shows on Netflix and exploring new places. I'm a pretty laid back person and I'm not against having an occasional drink or hangout with my flatmate but I'm also equally cool with just doing my own thing. I view home as a sanctuary, a place to unwind after a busy day. I also like having a tidy place (I'm not anal about it though) and am big on everyone contributing equally to keeping the common areas neat. I'm flexible on how long the lease is - anywhere from ~3 months to a year works for me; at the moment I just don't want to be permanently stuck in the crummy hotel I'm currently staying at!
I'm an American, from Michigan that has been living in Wellington for the last 6 months and before moving here I Thru-hiked Te Araroa, which is 3000km from the bottom of NZ to the top. So I'm always keen on a weekend in the bush. Although I have worked in Hospo/Bars for the last 5 years, I'm doing an alcohol free year and will be looking for a non-hospo job so I'll have normal hours. I'm pretty easy going, game a decent amount, but always keen for convo over tea or coffee! I'm Christian, but the loving, Non-judgmental, LGBT friendly type. :D I can move in anytime as I am now in Melbourne, and although i currently don't have a job i am actively searching and should get one in a weeks time. I have extra money saved up to last me 2 months as a precaution.
I'm 24 years old, originally from England but have been living in Melbourne for the last few years working in Richmond (Mon-Fri, 9-5). I spend most of my spare time working on music which is a big passion of mine, I'm in a band called Fool Child and we're always gigging around Fitzroy, Collingwood etc. Generally, I try to find a good balance between keeping myself to myself but also maintaining good friendships with whoever I'm sharing a house with (always up for a bit of Netflix/ a wine or two on weeknights).
Hi I'm a 33yo male I work full time for Australia post Monday to Friday start at 6am finish around 3pm most days I like my job cause I get plenty of exercise :) when I'm home I'm a fairly quiet person but always up for a chat I don't party but I am 420 friendly and I smoke ciggies happy to only smoke outside I don't have a hobbie to keep me busy so I like a good book to pass time I also like to cook and play games (computer/console) I'm a clean and tidy person but not over the top with cleanliness I'm happy to do my fair share of household duties if you would like to know anything else please feel free to ask looking forward to hearing from you
Hey! I'm a lawyer in a project management consultancy firm in the city. I'm looking to move further into the city to reduce my commute. Already have some <2yo furniture we could use (otherwise I'll just sell it) - lounge, TV, dining, fridge, washing machine etc. I'm into photography, gardening, running, drinks, boardgames, yada yada yada. Up for either a new sharehouse or an existing, let me know if you're keen to catch up!
Greetings from wintry Finland! We are easy-going, adventurous and tidy couple near our mid-twenties who wish to find a nice place to call home, and lovely housemates to stay with for at least two to six months. We would prefer North Melbourne/Fitzroy area, but would consider other areas too (which isn’t too far away from RMIT uni). Juuso is studying economics and is doing his exchange semester in RMIT University (Feb-June). He is sporty (mostly rock climbing, football and gym atm.), adventurous and always ready for a chat. Heini (the girlfriend) is studying medicine in Finland and decided to take a year off to explore Australia. She is going to search for work in Melbourne. She likes to chill out with a glass of wine, have a long night talks and do all kinds of sports. She is also passionate about music. We are looking for housemates who like to chill, have random family dinners, sometimes have a night out with us and give space occasionally when needed. So basically we are looking for friends, not just a shared flat. 😊 We will arrive in Melbourne (from our NZ road trip) 8th of February and it would be great if we could arrange a day after that to meet and see the flat before moving in. Our budget is $350-400 per week. If you want to know more about us or have any place suitable, don’t hesitate to contact us. 😊 Cheers! Juuso & Heini
I am turning 21 this year in August and I am new to Melbourne! I am neat, funny (I'd like to think so), and also very sociable, if you are. I think I'd be able to click with mostly anyone! oh! and I'm from Singapore, I'll be studying in the RMIT City Campus for 4 years so I hope I meet fun and nice people! Cheers!
We are couple from Indonesia, I’m from Bali and my Bf (Miguel) is from Padang. We are clean and tidy person, we like to keep everything clean and both of us also working part time in CBD. We love to stay in our room when we have day off, but the fact that we spent so much time for work and study. And the last thing is we really respect other’s privacy :). Cheers.
My girlfriend and I are both looking to move down to Melbourne late February as I am starting a new job in IT Consultancy while she's beginning her degree in Conservation at La Trobe. I'm originally from Sydney while she's from Utah in the U.S. Both love travelling, drinking (she's a bartender), being outdoors and meeting new people.
I'm pretty chill, :P Studying at RMIT for a Bachelor degree in Science From the country and so am not very experienced in the city. Enjoys various forms of literature, preferably Sci Fi/Fantasy along with hobbies such as painting and Japan culture. Can be rather timid in new environments until adjusted. Described as very mellow. :)
Hey. We're easy-going people looking for a relaxed and social sharehouse. We are happy to share a room or have a room each. I'm Australian and Paul is English. We met in Whistler 2 years ago and have been friends ever since. We like a house where people are down to hang out in the common areas, have a chat and a drink sometimes. Happy to fall into step with whatever cleaning situation is already set up. LGBT and pet friendly, although we don't have any ourselves. Interests include travel, outdoorsy shit, winter sports, camping, cooking, live music, literature and TV/movies.
Hey, I'm Angus and I'm moving down to Melbourne from Darwin to begin my design degree at RMIT. I've spent the past 18 months working as a barista in my local coffee shop, so will be looking to get a job again once I move down. I'm easygoing and quite laid back and tend to avoid fuss and drama. I like having my own space but also enjoy being around others and having a drink or two or sharing a pot of coffee. I like animals so if you have pets, I am fine with that. I don't drive but would hope to find somewhere to store my bike. Feel free to shoot me a message or a text if you would like to get into contact or want to know anything else about me. Cheers
I moved to Melbourne 6 years ago as a uni student and have been renting since. I currently work full time as a graduate engineer and I'm looking for a place that I can call home, unwind from a long day of work and perhaps even have a cuppa with my housemate. I'm respectful of ones space and privacy and believe in healthy living. I'm the sort of person who derives order from chaos and hence always strive to have my surroundings well organised and clutter free.
I really open minded person and I hope my flatmates do the same. I like music , so in my free time sometimes I sing. I can play some instrument. I like to cook, I can cook food or dessert for my flatmates and maybe we can sharing the new recipes. I like to learn new things and new culture.
Hi there :) My name is Aaron and I'm from Belgium, I have been in Australia for over a year and I love it ! I want to live with people that are quite tidy because it's easier to live in a clean and tidy place. I like cooking and I love sport :D Always looking to chat with people, talk shit or important stuff ;) I am looking for an accommodation in Melbourne because I am working as a high rise window cleaner in the CBD. I usually work from Monday to Saturday from 7 till 2, I am staying 4 more month in Melbourne and I would like to get to work in less than 20 minutes biking, yeah an other thing is that I love biking therefore I usually use my bike to get around and I would need to be able to store it safely :)
Hola! I'm a young professional, that's career driven and new to Melbourne. I just relocated back to Aust after living in the States for the last 6 years. Originally from rural Vic, I'm still a country boy at heart. I work as an Interior Designer, and love to be creative! My hobbies include travel, horseback riding, gardening, days at the beach and cooking - I used to be a chef, so new housemate's you're in for a treat! I'd describe myself as low maintanence and easy going, and looking to live with similar minded people.
Hi I'm Dana, I'm 27 and currently working full time in North Melbourne M-F as a Client Relationship Manager. I'm pretty social the weekends, enjoy a wine or two with friends and a yummy restaurant ... every now and then I attend a CX works class at the gym and pat myself on the back for the next month. I have been living in a share house situation for over 6 years and am used to sharing space with people and keeping it neat and tidy.
Hey! I'm Clementine. I work full time for the Victorian government, I'm 26 years old and have lived in Melbourne for about 25 of those. My current housemate is moving away, so I'm looking for a room in a share-house in inner-East Melbourne or CBD-ish, or a fun group of people to put together a share-house of our own! Wanting to move around mid-Feb to mid-March. I'm super relaxed, I like to keep things relatively clean and tidy, I love to get out on the weekends with friends or have people over for chill backyard drinks. I'd love to live with people who can have a bit of a chat over dinner/weekend brunch, but still want a bit of privacy to binge a Netflix series in bed every once in a while :P Looking at max $250 a week for myself, depending on the places available. I have enough furniture and appliances to pretty well kit out an empty place, so that could help. Feel free to get in touch if this sounds good to you, and we can chat about details :)
Hey, I am a musician who plays guitar and sings as well as play piano so would be looking for somewhere preferably with thick walls so I can practice full voice singing. My music is contemporary pop and happy to schedule a time around the rest of the house mates before 9pm that is best to practice music. I am also a model and actress but travel lots with my profession. I have traveled all of Australia and touring in NZ with plans to travel in UK, Canada & USA. I don't drive so public transport would be great to have near by. I've lived away from my parents for almost 2 years now in 2 different homes from the 1 I grew up in but I've never lived in Melbourne before. I don't smoke or do drugs & have no pets or serious allergies. I would prefer a furnished place & if you have a shower instead/as well as a bath, that would be great. Please let me know the bed size too. I'm happy to share a house but I wouldn't like to share a room with someone. I've shared houses in every place I have lived. If you are a guy, you will be like my brother so please don't try hit/get with me. Please note the areas in Melbourne I'm only looking to move to are listed. Thanks, I will be in Melbourne on the 29th Jan - 11th Feb to look at places in person.
