Hi there! I am currently looking at moving closer to where I work in Parkville - tired of the commute from the other side of Melbourne! Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for about 3-4 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). As well as working full-time, I participate in things such as music rehearsals & other activities, so I am not at home very much. When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Hi I'm Lucy, I work in a law firm in business services (HR) while also being a Nutritionist on the side. I'm considerate of those I live with and self-aware. I'm clean, friendly and down to earth. Looking to move immediately.
I'm Nico, an exchange student from Germany. In Germany I also live in a shared flat and my flatmates can approve that I am an easy-going and tidy person. I enjoy playing tennis, soccer or playing guitar and maybe doing sth. with flatmates (dinner, playing videogames or just hanging out). If you think that could fit, I would be glad hearing from you.
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I'll definitely be a very social house mate and I'm always down for a vino or six after work. I currently manage MANIAX Melbourne and am going on a student visa November/December 2018. The plan is to finish school and get my PR, so I'm not going to be a flaky backpacker that leaves unexpectedly to chase an adventure. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping, working out and drunk baking. Beyond that I actually own my own house back in Canada (I'm currently renting it out) and I believe that that gives me a different perspective on renting with consideration to getting the rent in on time, as well as taking care of the place. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
I’m Girish, a full-time IT professional, looking for a cozy or spacious room in shared house. I’m social, easy going person and a good listener. I always like to keep my surroundings neat and tidy. Also respects others privacy and expect the same.
Laid back guy easy to live with, friendly but have my own interests, grew up in south west vic coastal town, vegetarian, working full-time in hospo.
Hi! I am Brian, an overseas student living in Melb. for a year. A very calm and orderly person. Lover of coffee, wine and good food. Currently, I'm doing a postgraduate course in Business and working. I'm ideally looking for share accommodation with a private room so I can keep to myself but share things with mates too.
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and fastidious. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it. I'm looking for home I can be comfortable in, and has a friendly, safe and open environment. This is imperative as I am more of a home body. Respect is also key regarding interaction between housemates as well as respect for belongings.
I am a 30yo brazilian and marketing manager. Respectful, friendly and clean. Used to sharing houses in different countries. Would like a flatmate that wants to be friends and interact a bit while still maintaining their own life and privacy. I’m interested in cooking, keeping fit, traveling and all things history! Don’t own a pet but love cats and dogs and all animals really! Very busy working as well as doing some studying and doing my best to keep fit. LIVING NEXT TO A TRAIN STATION IS A MUST FOR ME DUE TO WORK :)
I have been flat sharing with others for the past 10 years, I am a very good housemate, considerate, clean, quiet, pays rent on time, I am fun to hang out with and also happy to stay quietly in my room. I am a working professional, very driven, active. I go to gym a few times weekly and join online meet up groups for events and activities. Generally a happy easy going Chinese girl and love living in Melbourne.
Salut, I am a 24 yo from Lebanon, I’ve been in Melbourne for a year now as a full time masters student. I am an electrical engineer who’s trying to get recognised here so that I can work in my field (take time with all the tests I have to take). For now I am working as a part time waiter in a Lebanese restaurant. I like sports so I do soccer once a week, hoping to fit squash in my schedule too! I have also just started to learn the djembe and I’m into chill music and socialising over a drink. I’m usually outside the house either in the university or at work, but I have my days chilling around the house. I like to keep my area and the shared ones tidy and organised as possible. I like to live in a fun, relaxed and sweet atmosphere, and I respect space. I am friendly with any type of housemates as long as there's a good vibe flow! Gladly wanna hear back from you!!
Hello! I just have moved to Melbourne from Spain to do a PhD in marine sciences. I am interested in many things such as nature, environment, traveling, besides others. In my leisure time I love doing sports, reading and I enjoy a lot going to concerts. I am friendly, sociable, respectful and very tidy person.
A bit about myself, I'm 23 years old looking to relocate to Melbourne (from Canberra). I work full time for a technology & software Company (for the last three years), I'll be working out of an office in the CBD. I have recently deferred my studies though I do intend to return part-time in the near future. I do particular value my privacy, but love banter and good conversation over a glass of wine. I consider myself to be fairly tidy person, I enjoy cooking but I'm not great at it and love the gym. Low key and relaxed weeks are my favorites but I also love getting out and about, especially in the warmer months.
We are a young Brazilian couple, moving to Australia in November. I'm Isabela, I'm 21. I graduated in Brazilian Literature and in Culinary. I am always interested in good conversations, meeting new people, cultures, music and food. João Pedro is my husband, he is 25. João studies History and he is also Brazilian. He likes all different sorts of sports, specially cycling, loves books and music. We don't smoke and drink only occasionally. We are very friendly, tidy, clean, organized and we like to have our privacy and give others their own space too. But of course, we want to meet new people! We are both fluent in English.
I am pretty easy, domesticated and tidy. Short of sounding like a dog.. my skills are cuisine cook with a penchant for group meals.. and punctuality with bills and rent. Not into the party so much as dinner parties, otherwise pretty chill on the home front. I just finished my Masters degree in Canberra so looking forward to spending some quality time in hometown Melbourne with people and a place that creates a good atmosphere. I spend a bit of time interstate and in the mountains, and am otherwise all about having a secure home-base on the comfortable side of life. Gym & yoga and healthy fooding is a pretty standard part of my lifestyle, and my family are all based in Melbourne. Plans are to be at Monash or RMIT next year to do a Research degree (Fine Arts) so setting things up really...
