Hi I'm Victor, 25 from Stockholm, Sweden. I'm a law student attending Deakin University for a trimester. I'm really looking forward my time in Melbourne, I have only been visiting the city once a few days back in 2013 when I backpacked the east coast. I would prefer to share a flat with people not speaking Swedish, to get the most out of my stay. And also to make new connections. I would say I'm an outgoing, respectful and open minded person. I am a responsible clean/organised housemate. I love to cook and hang out over drinks and food. Back home I sing in a choir which is so much fun. I like bench watching series (latest one is Sense8), I try to exercise some and I really do enjoy searching for treasures in flee markets/antique shops. I would prefer to stay at one place during my time in Melbourne and my stay is founded by student aid and of course a lot of savings. Hope to hear from you, cheers!
Hello! About Me: I'm an outgoing, creative working in the freelance field. A naturally social person who enjoys good conversation about almost anything. Left leaning politically with a keen interest in music, art & social justice. I have small, shy cat who I'd prefer to come with me, so looking for pet friendly accomodation. My social life consists of brunch hangs with friends, op-shopping adventures, dance classes, Netflix binges and sharing stories over a cup of chai tea and tim tams. I'm straight edge, so that means no drugs, no smoking, no drinking. House Stuff: Looking for a bright, clean and tidy place with close proximity to the cbd. Budget upto 250pw (would prefer a monthly rental inc. bills) I'm Ideally looking to share with 1-3 people with outgoing personalities and individuals who want to create a happy social atmosphere with the occasional shared meals during the week. Similarly neat and house proud folks, as I'm big on cleanliness. Looking for people who have respect for people of all genders, races and sexual preferences. (a misogyny free home being a must!) My Stuff: I have my own bedroom furniture, but I'm completely flexible with furnishings. So a furnished or unfurnished room works for me. If you have something suitable, please email me with info and available inspection times, I'm looking for something ASAP and I never flake on plans. Cheers, Chloé
Hi. I'm Sej and in art field. I'm from Korea. Have lived in NYC for 2yrs. Now, in Melbourne, I'm about to study more about arts. So, clearly I'm interested in arts and creative works, cooking, animals and love to hang out with nice people and have some good chat with beer or wine, but not too much. Most of the time, trying to be considerate as much as I can. And also care about keep it tidy :) I know it's not that easy to find somewhere or someone fit for me but I really hope I can find one and get along!
I am a new Colombian student in Melbourne, I study in the mornings, and in the afternoons I love going out to tour the city. I like to play sports like playing soccer or riding a bicycle. With my things I am organized, I am also quite friendly. I have the financial support of my parents from Colombia. Soon I hope to find myself working part time.
We are bestfriends of 14 years and have been thinking on moving in together when we got here in Melbourne. I am gay and she is straight. I am currently studying at uni as an international student in ACU and she's a PR working as a nurse near ACU so anything nearby is also ideal. We like to be tidy, and are very sensitive towards the needs and dynamics the people around us. We are considerate people as well, and we know that everyone likes to have their own privacy. We like to make a system out of everything to keep it all organised so you will have no issues in living with us. Shoot us a message if you think you have an offer. MOVE IN DATE: I wrote July but we are ready to move anytime.
Working full time in CBD, I realized it makes more sense to stay closer to work. I work between Monday - Friday. I generally am not very choosy, but would like housemate with a similar interests and life style. I am generally chirpy and willing to hang out over the weekends, but can easily be to myself and respect others privacy. I have been in Melbourne for about a year now, and have been living in the south eastern suburbs, but really feel the need to move closer to the city, as I am someone who likes moving around and trying new brews and food, and also because I don't like spending too much time on the trains/trams. I am looking for an individual room and would prefer an en-suite, but I am flexible if I need to share the bathroom as long as it is neat (probably one thing I am very particular is about having a clean bathroom). I do occasionally cook, and believe in keeping the kitchen clean after it has been used. I am happy to catch up for a quick chat/inspection before making any decision. I could do inspections on weekdays as well, as long as it is close to the city. Cheers, Anish
Hi! I’m working full time in the city, 5-6 days- long hours. I’m looking for a place which is ideally close to public transport, and unfurnished. I enjoy watching footy and cricket, going to the gym and also travelling. I like going out on the weekends but also don’t mind staying in and sharing dinner/watching Netflix with housemates. 😉 I do work Saturdays so can do inspections after 6pm or sundays. If you have a room that you think would be suitable for me, please contact me- I’ll try to get back as soon as I can. Thank you! 😊
I'm a 32 year old town planner with an interest in architecture and old buildings. I'm pretty independent but looking for housemates that don't mind a chat over tea or a wine. I'm also a generally clean and tidy person and would be looking for a house that keeps common areas tidy.
Hi! I am a graduate architect, working full time in a boutique office in Fitzroy. Still freshish to Melbourne, I relocated interstate 6 months ago and now looking for a nicer place to stay so that I can focus on some creative things. I enjoy occasional hangouts and chills with my housemates and I like to contribute to the house (food, plants, movie nights, drinks etc). No stress though. Fully house trained, I also previously managed a few share houses before. Flexible move in between July to August. Happy to team up (prefer apartment for teaming up) kwanchaklaw (a t) G ^^aa!l,c0m
Hey there! My name is Kate, 26, Irish and permanent resident here in Australia. I've spent 2 years in Sydney and almost 12 months here in Melbourne and loving it! Fairly active and enjoy the outdoors. I work in marketing for an alcohol company so there might be a few bottles of wine around the house :) I Like to cook, and socialise in the house, I'm clean and am looking for a house share with like minded people. Not looking for a party house but hoping for some good banter with the rest of the housemates!
This is just like filling in an online dating profile. 😉 I'm Jen, a Visual Designer native to Melbourne. I've recently returned to Australia after living in London for the last few years, designing book covers, and loping faraway lands. Finding my feet here again, I'm looking for a place to call home. 🏠 What makes me great to live with? I'm almost always with a rosy disposition. I'm a serial smiler. I'm an avid tea drinker. Also an avid red wine drinker when the occasion calls for it. I'm a good listener. I like to cook and share with those I care to spend time with. I'm a minimalist, meaning I'm also neat and tidy. I like to keep my personal space clean, respect common ground, but won't get upset over minor mess. Ideally I'm looking to share with other professionals similar to myself - relatively responsible during the work week, with a happy balance of other life commitments and sociability. As with my previous shares, I'd ultimately like to call my housemates friends rather than go home to people who like to hide out in their rooms never to be seen. Of course this is within reason as most of us like our own space, myself included. 😉 I'm no longer a party animal, but if you like cooking meals together and dancing around the kitchen whilst doing so, I'm your lady. Looking forward to hearing from prospective housemates. 😊
I love Pho and I believe that life is great! I'd love to live with some humans that feel the same :) I'm a positive guys with a lust for life, and am on a daily mission to find curiosity, focus and adventures. 6am morning walks, cold showers and meditation pretty much sums me up - hoping to find flatmate(s) who would be up for this kind of stuff!! I love red wine, I love swirling it, I love deep philosophical chats, I love cats, (and dogs), but mostly cats because they do weird things, I play jazz piano (badly), and cooking is a big thing for me! I usually play devils advocate in conversation, I like seeing how differently people perceive the world, no one is really right, so its kind-of fun just watching how chaos in conversation unfolds. I try to always bring positive energy to the table, and never take a day in my life for granted. Life is short and there to be lived. I'm a free spirit - and the kinds of people that I wanna hang around will be open to questioning everything. Side interests: Human movement/gymnastics, baking bread, Chef's Table (on netflix), Evolutionary theory, mindfulness, psychedelics and PHO!
TL;DR Arriving in Australia first week of August for work. Looking for a room and a garage or large shed for Windsurfing kit with on or off street parking. Less than 30 mins to Carlton. 25-35 year old flat mates. Full version: Third culture, house share trained guy moving from Europe to Melbourne for work. Native in English and French. University educated. Work in business development for a Defence company. Into windsurfing, cars, music, hitting the gym, good food etc. No drugs. Looking for a clean and tidy (essential) friendly household of full time workers (no students). Age range 25-35. Educated... Preference for living with tenants only - not living with landlords. No couples please. My office is in Carlton and I should be travelling quite regularly for work. I would like to keep commute under 30 mins door to door. Prioritising properties which have a garage (shared or not) as I will need to store my windsurfing kit. On or off street parking essential. Home is to be a peaceful drama free sanctuary - not a party house. However I’m still into wining and dining; naturally...
I'm just always interested in learning and experiencing new things. Recently I've been learning how to play the guitar (tho I'm miserable) and Olympic weightlifting. Who knows what's next? Meanwhile, I like to travel to different places (especially in Asia because it is very different from the western culture I grew up). I'm always listening to music and it varies from Rock to electronic, some classical and Brazilian popular music (MPB). I'm from Brazil. It is up to you to figure out whether I like soccer, samba, and caipirinha. I can teach you Portuguese, how to cook, software programming, nutrition, exercises and tell my crazy stories and theories. I'm moving to Melbourne to work as a full-time software developer.
Hi, I’m Sarah, I’m 26 and originally from Queensland but have been living in the UK for 12 months. I’ve lived in lots of sharehouses before and I am friendly and very easy going. Looking for a small apartment, preferably furnished and somewhere close to Melbourne CBD.

Eldric (33) - just moved here too, and looking for a place to call home without being hounded by crazy landladies.
Hey I’m James! A 20 y.o. moving to Melbourne to study. I’m pretty easy-going, clean and love to spend my free time reading, exploring new cafes as well as attempting new hobbies. I'm looking for housemates that are clean, respectful and sociable
Hey prospective housemates!!!! A bit about myself; I have recently moved here from Adelaide, working full time as an estimator/project coordinator in the construction industry. I work early mornings and long hrs so I am looking for a place were I can relax, enjoying a wine and a good movie during the week. As I am new to Melbourne, I try to stay busy on the weekends, exploring the city as much as I can, but I am definitely open to any ideas on what to do/see. I am looking for housemates that are clean and respectful but are also relaxed and up for a good chat/laugh
I'm looking for the room where I will enjoy my life in Melbourne. My name is Daichi, and I’m a Japanese 27-years-old male. I would be happy if we enjoy something together at home and outside(Of course I will respect our privacy for each other). I worked in Japan as a physiotherapist & office worker, and now am studying English and on the job training related to physiotherapy. I came to Melbourne because my company in Japan sent me to local office in Melbourne(so my income is stable). I need to improve my English skills so I would like to live with someone who speaks Engish.
Hey lads and ladettes. I'm Kassem, a 20 year old from Denmark. I will be studying Business and IT at RMIT City Campus for a semester, which of course means i have to find somewhere to stay meanwhile. I'm not too picky about the location, but ideally somewhere within reasonable walking/biking distance. I'm pretty social, always providing top tier bants, and i'm surprisingly also a decent cook. I'm very adventurous and pretty much up for anything you can hit me with. I'd like to live in a house/flatshare with other like minded, preferably also uni students in their 20's who wouldn't mind hanging out.
My name is Bjarke. I'm 24 years old, and I come from Denmark. I'm gonna live here for approx. 4-5 months, where I'm gonna take my 5th semester at Deakin University in Burwood. I'm a very outgoing person, and i am always up for a beer or two ;) I am used to live with other peers, so i know how to clean up after myself. I look forward to hear from you! - Bjarke.
