I’m moving back to Sydney from Brisbane/Gold Coast to go to Uni. I’m clean and tidy and easy to get along with. I enjoy meeting new people and being social yet also like my own time. I will be studying full time and working causally. I am also expecting a baby in August.
Hello there, My name is Hamaka and I am looking for a place to stay in Sydney CBD and or surrounding suburbs. About me: ⬛ Maori/Croatian/Irish. ⬛ Gay. ⬛ Single: career driven. ▪ Cyclist ▪ skater ▪ long distance runner ▪ muso ▪ book worm ▪ wanderer ▪ prone to losing my train of thought ⬛ Barista/bartender/sales ◼ I drink on very rare occasions so will likely be writing, hiking, cycyling or skate boarding. I am currently living in Liverpool, Western Sydney, and am staying with friends - I would like to secure a place to stay which is closer to work. I manage a non-for-profit café for a company which manufactures games; Aristocrat technologies. I commute to work each day, which happens to be a 2 hour trip each way. I would like to cut that commute down significantly by moving closer to where I work, haha. I arrived in Sydney 2 weeks ago so am still finding my bearings. I am from a small village in New Zealand located in the Waikato region, specifically, the Coromandel Peninsula; located in the North of the North Island of NZ. I would like to move into a place immediately for then I can comfortably settle into Sydney and start exploring. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, with kindness and respect. I am considerate and empathetic in relation to living in shared accomodation. I come from a family of 11 so cleaning up after myself is a given, and I would prefer the same. I am aiming to get another job working on the weekend, either permanent or casual freelancing work. So, I will likely never be home. I enjoy getting out and being active, for I am perpetually bored - haha - and enjoy keeping fit and healthy. I hope that gives you a general idea of who I am. Thank you so very much for your time. Kindest regards, Hamaka Murray
Hello, I am an Electrical engineer and I am doing my Masters in Electronics at Macquarie University. I am a fun loving person and friendly in nature. Also, I keep my stuff clean and can be adaptable to a new environment. Right now im in a search for a private room.
Hi guys, my name is Logan and I'm a 22 year old exchange student from Germany. I am/ will be studying a mix of earth science and economics at the Macquarie University in Sydney (third year). I am looking for a shared flat or house from the 28th of februrary until the end of July (flexible) pref. close to the Macquarie University. A tidy place is prefered and I will keep it that way :) Dogs & cat's are fine with me. I am really looking forward to meeting some new people. So 5 or even more people sharing a flat or house is fine with me; just 2 is also cool. Going out for a drink and/or enjoying an evening together with my roomies is def. wanted. In addition I would really like to go out surfing on a semi-regular basis. Since I am attending uni, my time is of course limited. Anyway, a Surfingbuddy would be awesome! Next to uni, socialising & surfing, I also enjoy some quiet time in between. I hope I could give you a good impression of myself and I am looking forward to some great fun at my home-to-be for the next 5 months in Sydney! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time. Kind regards, Logan
I am a French student and I am currently in the first year of a Master of Biology in Paris. I’ll come to Sydney from mid-February to mid-July for a research internship. I’ll work with a team of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. I am looking for an inexpensive place to live near the University (because I won’t have a car). I would enjoy to live with flatmates as it will be the opportunity to meet people (from Australia or not). I’ll be at home the evening, for the meal, and the weekend. I also wish to discover Sydney during this free time.
My name is Gunhild (it's an old/odd viking name). I'm 21 and from Norway. The spring 2018, I'm an exchange student at Macquarie University. I'm looking for somewhere to stay this semester. If you'd like to team up or have a room you'd like to rent out, don't hesitate to message me. I'm an outgoing person, like to socialize with all sorts of people. I'm easy going, clean, kind and open-minded. I have experience of living with other people, from two years of living with friends in flats back home in Oslo. In my spare time I like to work out (sometimes), like to watch movies, hang out, take a swim, play soccer/football and a lot of other stuff. I'm taking a bachelor in history, so if you're looking for someone to have on your quiz team or just really want to learn a whole lot of new fun facts - that's me!
I'm clean Im fun, I can cook to a certain extent definetly no Aristos but I try. My time out I like doing outdoorsy things, going for brunch, having beers down the pub and such.
I’ve been living out of home and looking after a 4 bedroom property for the last 5 years. I work full time as a sales rep and usually just have quiet weekends in. I share my life with a beautiful, well behaved border collie (medium/large dog) who is house trained and friendly. She needs some outdoor space however I will be walking her a lot. I’d love to live with people who have similar interests - not party animals but also like to have a good time. I like to cook, stay fit and also enjoy a drink at the end of a busy week. I’m extremely clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I work a lot, sometimes from home. I also have my own fridge and washing machine, if needed in a household. Move date is flexible and all dependent on whether I find the right place, however I’d like to find something between May-July.
Planning to move late Feb, I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months. I work and study full-time so I'm pretty busy, but I still enjoy hanging out and spending time at home. I prefer a clean and tidy place close to public transport. Likes: hiking, spicy food, indie film, folk music, figurative art, cats
I'm a Malaysian who studies in MQ for year two degree this year. I'm currently in Malaysia for holiday, I will be back to Sydney at the end of February. I'm hoping that I'm able to find a nice and friendly place to stay nearby. It will be best if it's fully furnished with bills included in rent. I like to watch Korean drama which is why wifi is a must for me hahah and I like to go for a jog sometimes. Also, don't mind me to have one or two friends over sometimes (no party, just chills) as sometimes I will head to their places for stay over too. I like to keep my things clean and tidy. Which is why I would prefer having own bathroom but I'm okay to share with another person. I'm a quite lazy person when it comes to cooking, so I always make something easy like pasta, congee or maybe bake once in awhile only. And I super adore dogs! :)
24 yo male working full time, have lived with people before, looking for couple people to team up with and start a new share house. Can cook - but only with frozen food and a microwave. Also have a decent amount of kitchen stuff that capable cooks might actually use.
Hi there! My name is Gustavo, I am 24 and I come from Brazil to Sydney to do a PhD of 3 years at Macquarie University. I left home 7 years ago and since then I have lived sharing houses or in studios, so I am quite used to it. In 2014 I spent one year living in the UK. I am looking for a studio or an ensuite room in a shared house to stay for at least 6 months, starting at the beginning of March/18. I look for privacy and freedom in my space. I give preference for somewhere that charges bills separately from the rent and has a great internet connection. I consider myself neat, organized and honest overall. My hobbies are cooking, doing physical activities and talking to people. Please let me know if you have a place that matches these criteria or knows of somewhere that does. Thank you!
My name is Darcy, i am a young man undertaking an apprenticeship in light vehicle mechanics. I am a fairly tidy person who always cleans up after myself. I am a smoker trying to quit, i only smoke outside away from doors and windows. I moved up here so my girlfriend could be with her parents as we are having a child together. I need to find my own place to stay as the house they are in doesn’t have enough room for me. I work six days a week monday to saturday and have sundays off. I really look forward to finding somewhere to stay so i can get on my feet and start a life here in sydney. -Darcy
Hi, my name is Claudia and I will be looking for new accommodation around April 2018, preferably near Macquarie University. I would prefer somewhere on the ground level that has natural sunlight and that is quiet. I like to have my own space where I can re energize and feel at home in my home. I like to cook, food and healthy diet is most important as well as healthy heart and spirit. I am pet friendly and non-smoker. I am great to live with because I am clean and organized. I enjoy the outdoors. I have bedroom furniture except a wardrobe and a few kitchen gadgets and bits and pieces. Please get in contact if you think we could be compatible housemates or if you can recommend a property. Thanks Claudia
I am a friendly, sociable gap year student from the south coast of England. I am in Australia until September to play hockey. I am also keen to surf and enjoy Sydney whilst i am here. I am looking for work, i am a qualified gym instructor, sports masseuse and hockey coach but am happy doing anything if it gets the rent payed. I am currently at Ryde Hockey club so am looking for a place that allows me to get to the hockey pitch easily but isn't to far from the beach and city. I am tidy, love meeting new people and cant wait to find out where I will end up living!
I work full-time and study in the evenings. My ideal accommodation would be sharing with someone who is quiet and tidy, like myself, so that I can continue with my studies. I have lived and worked abroad so I have experience renting over a long period and resolving the issues that may crop up. For fun, I read, watch movies and go hiking. Finding a place closer to where I work is my ultimate aim here as I spend far too much time traveling.
My name is Bec, I am looking for a like-minded person to share a place with. I am conscientious of other people's living space and hope for that in return. I moved here from Canberra about a year ago and still go back to Canberra on the weekends alot. I don't tend to spend much time at home (if ever) on the weekends so the place would be free. i think it is important to be open minded and respectful of everyone's lifestyle...but what's most important is to have a housemate that can also be more like a friend. I always try to be as considerate as possible and clean after myself - always. :)
ALAS! I find a beautiful place and great housemates but now everyone is moving out and going there own ways :( Hi all, My friends call me Batman, as it is my last name :) I work full time as an Inventory Controls Officer *no not a police officer* Looking for somewhere I can also work on my motorbikes off the street and undercover! I have 2 motorbikes, one is a Ducati Monster 696 and the other is a Ural Ranger (it has a sidecar). I am quite frequently out camping, fishing and motorbike riding during the weekends :) I am after a nice group of people who like to enjoy there life, are' t antisocial and like to have a couple of drinks and BBQ together every now and then :) Looking for a place with an off-street undercover area. So I started rebuilding my motorbike thinking I had somewhere with spare room and not expecting to move anytime soon but now I have to leave so i need somewhere to finish of my project. Hit me up :)
Hi I'm a friendly man who is happy to clean up after myself and likes to keep my room fairly tidy. I'm fairly busy doing my own thing but also am pretty social when I'm in the mood. I'm a fairly good cook as I studied to be a chef . I'm working in a French restaurant in Mosman and also selling clothing . I like bbqs and going for walks and to local restaurants and bars . I also have a bicycle and a car. I like reading and watching some tv . I'm not a big party person and fairly quite . Thanks from Jim
I am a working professional in the media/publishing industry looking for long-term accommodation close to or at least accessible to my office at St. Leonards. I've been slowly transitioning to a (relatively) more minimalist lifestyle as I make the move so staying neat and clean should be with less effort. I can be relied on keeping the rest of the flat/house clean as well. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer meeting my friends outside rather than do house parties. In my spare time I usually try to be active - I often play badminton and do a little bit of cycling here and there. I'm also keen to learn new sports/activities and join any after hours/weekend clubs. I play some PC games a little bit and I'm a huge fan of the NBA. I'm still learning how to cook more food, but am keen to share whenever I make something nice. I'm pretty social and keen to meet new people, so I'd be down for a few drinks (in a relaxed environment) once in a while to unwind. As I am working full time, inspections are preferred after 5:30pm and on the weekends.
Hello there, I'm Tina, 33 and currently looking for room in a friendly and comfortable environment. I am easy going, mostly keep to my own, clean, quiet and responsible. I am not much of a party animal but I do enjoy hanging out with friends when I get the chance. I usually work in retail but I have taken 2 months off to re energize myself after a year of total burn out. (UPDATE: I NOW HAVE A P/T JOB) I am now actively looking for a new job (though I assure you I have enough savings to pay rent) and will be studying at Macquarie Uni as of February, so I need a new place that will be more centralized. I am a bit of a geek, I enjoy gaming on my PS4 and am quiet the movie buff. I also enjoy creating special effects makeup, reading and learning new skills. I am of Greek background so I could probably cook up a delicious Greek dish if you wish, too! I am looking for a private room, as long as there is a desk, a bed and a wardrobe I'll be happy. No preference in a specific gender household, as long as you are cool with having a laugh once in a while. I prefer a place close to transport also as I do not drive. If I sound like someone you'd like to have around, then message me! :) T.

I work full time doing customer service in a call centre. I'm from the Central Coast, but want to move down to Sydney to be closer to work. I'm easy going and respectful. Hi future roommate person/s! How weird is it to write about yourself? I'm a 25 year-old male slave working and studying full-time. I’ve just moved up from Melbourne to Sydney to study at USYD. With whatever time I have spare I love to chill with video games, watching anime and having the odd Mario Kart competition to assert my dominance (Fkn shotgun Peach bruh). I also part take in the masochistic activity of learning Japanese 😭. I'm a bit of a dork, love to make people laugh and find the humour in almost anything. The more dark and sarcastic your humour, the more we'll get along swimmingly. I’m pretty flexible with locations, so open to anywhere in the city (though, I’m not keen on moving to Penrith).
English guy who has been living in Australia for about a year now, and is studying a software engineering at Macquarie University. I'm pretty chilled out, easy to get along with, and will help keep the house clean. I play a bit of guitar and enjoy hanging out, but otherwise am fairly quiet. Looking for somewhere close to the uni, with some friendly people I can enjoy living with.

So I'm a Hybrid between an Extrovert & Introvert. ;) I’m open minded, non judgemental , respectful, responsible & have a great sense of humor. I love meeting new ppl, enjoy food, wine, laughter, music, art, nature, going to the gym, having great conversations and experiencing new things, ideas, cultures etc . Currently im studying Psychology at Uni and work part-time.
