----------------- BREAKING NEWS: ----------------Remarkable housemate has been located on the Gold Coast. Read the story below. 21 August 2017 After a tumultuous effort by local residents over the last month, it appears they have collectively found the perfect housemate - and he’s here to stay. Gold Coast local, Zeph was discovered by Flatmates on Tuesday evening, in a last ditched effort to save local residents their sanity after searching endlessly to find their ideal home companion. We took the opportunity to speak with Mr Gibson, asking what he will bring to provincial householders: “No doubt you’ve discovered some bizarre and somewhat interesting fellow humans along your journey to roommate bliss. After renting out my own rooms on Flatmates for over three years, I truly understand the whole concept. What you will get: - Daily dose of intelligent conversation. - Unlimited fun and humourous banter, pun connoisseur. - A guy that believes that if you can't eat off the toilet seat, then the house isn't clean enough. - A home owner of several properties over the years who understands how it feels to rent to strangers. - If you have a pet, it must be willing to be loved like Kanye loves Kanye. I've just recently sold my townhouse and am looking for a place for the interim until I find a new renovation project to buy." As you can see this has been a phenomenal discovery and we’re excited to have shared this wonderful news with you. Don’t despair, this is a rare opportunity to attain one of the Gold Coasts’ best-kept secrets. Get in contact today!
Easy going couple, very flexible. Both contribute equally with household chores and expenses etc. Will be mature aged students at uni so will be busy a lot of the time but understand what its like to working full time as we have done so in the past. Sociable people and very friendly. Would love to eventually get a dog if allowed to do so but only if the house is set up with a nice big back yard. Our maximum weekly rent would be $140 each, so $280 would be contributed from us to the household rent.
Moving up from Adelaide, have secure work from mid Oct on wards. I'm clean and respectful. Background in Wine and Spirits so am comfortable with cooking and socializing.
Myself and two loveable little female indoor chihuahuas looking for somewhere long term. I'm chilled, easy going, social but also like my privacy and to keep to myself some days! Work Monday to Friday and am out through the days most weekends. Own bathroom would be preferrable. Happy to do a team up and get a rental with someone!
I am going to study at the southern cross university. I speak German, English and bulgarian. I am a very tidy, open and outgoing person and I am interested in different cultures, traditions and languages. I would love to find a place to stay, where the people are nice and where I can improve my English. I love animals too.
I work 40 hours a week in Woolworths, can bring an amazing 5% discount to shopping bills! I'm quiet and to myself - if I'm not working I am gaming (PC: PUBG/LoL) I'm not a heavy drinker. I have both a car and a motorbike. I'm a Gold Coast local as well, born and raised
Hi, I'll be studying at Bond University starting this September.I am congenial and love being outdoors. I love animals so pets are not a problem. I am a very tidy person and a non-smoker and non-drinker and pretty easy to live with. Looking forward to sharing a home with like-minded people. Cheers.
I'm a clean, tidy, quiet and respectful 29 year old house mate. I do my fair share of the cleaning and washing. I don't leave things lying around. I cook. I'm generally home during the week nights and weekends I'm out and about socialising. I train 4-5 times a week. I'm fun and love the occasional wine. Rent and bills are paid on time, every time. I communicate well if there are any issues (which I'm sure there wouldn't be!). I love the beach, coffee, food and travel!
Gold Coast local recently returned from overseas looking a for place with other people seeking a well balanced lifestyle. I work full time in Currumbin in hospitality during the day. Sometimes I keep to myself, sometimes I like a chat! But always pay rent on time. Responsible, conscientious, tidy, no nonsense kinda dude. Like riding my bicycle, cooking, reading, traveling and art. If you would like to know more hit me up. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Dan!
I am an artist, Art Therapist and also work in Disabilities. I am wanting a quiet and relaxing environment to spend my time off in. I'm not a party person, but enjoy socializing every now and then. I'm into holistic lifestyle and very open minded, like to meditate etc, I'm respectful of others and space. A bit of storage would be handy as I have lots of art gear, kayak and bike. I'm very young at heart and don't look my age! ;) Drug free and rarely drink.. I hope someone can help me out, with a lovely home, I'm not really into flats or apartments, house or townhouse preferred as I prefer to be grounded close to the earth in a house with a garden, would love to have or share a veggie garden, also need/prefer a unfurnished room a built in wardrobe. 😊 Also wifi is a must for part time studies. cheers hope to hear from you ;)
Hello, my name is Dario, I'm an Italian PhD full-time candidate at Griffith and I'm doing a project on surfing culture on the Gold Coast. I'm a clean, respectful and well educated person. I'm pretty active and I love doing sports. I'm quiet but I also love to socialize and going out on the weekend. Looking for the same kind of flatmate(s). Thank you
Hello, I'm moving out to the Gold Coast from London with work and looking for a place to live. I'm pretty easy going, enjoy playing sport, going out, BBQs etc. I work in Broadbeach so being near would be good but not a necessity. I'm looking to find housemates that I can socialise with rather than just renting a room in a house. I'm currently staying in Broadbeach until March 8th, I am then back in the UK for a month before I fly back out to the Gold Coast in early April. Ideally I'd like to have somewhere sorted before March 8th as I'll have a lot on my plate in the month in between. I've never been to Australia so I'm keen to do road trips and see as much of the country as I can whilst I'm here. I've lived in shared accommodation for a number of years and am tidy. Holla if you any of the above suits the flatmate you're after. Seb
I am down to earth and super easy to get along with. I work full time as a Business Development Executive. Most of my spare time is spent out of the house. Extremely active ! beach, exercise, riding my bike, hanging with mates! I am neat and tidy, and completely respectful of others personal space.
I'm a go with the flow chilled out drama free kinda guy. I'm clean and tidy, easy to be around and i enjoy cooking immensely Im always looking to have fun and making people smile any way possible, life is meant to be fun and joyful so that's how I live mine. That's all about me- well what I think is necessary, anything else just ask me :)
Hi my name is Amy.. I am currently busy working two jobs and at SCU studying. I am interested in finding a place to move asap, I'm clean, friendly and have a happy disposition. Thanks Amy.
Im a cleaner so the space I am in is always tidy.. Im open-minded and willing to work with people.. I say it how it is and if there is any issues I address them as they appear.. Im quiet, love my own company and easy to get along with.. I don't do drama as I believe it can all b dealt with maturely and respectful communication.. I have 2 school-aged girls in my care half of the week and every second weekend.. They are respectful and as quiet as kids can be lol.. We are local to Currumbin so love healthy living and paddle-boarding in my free time..
G'day! Born and raised in Portugal, just 10 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean coast, I've always felt better by the sea. I'm a big fan of all things Nature and outdoor sports. Cooking only for myself can be quite boring but I love it when there's more people around. I'd rather have a great meal at home than one at a fancy restaurant. Shall I put another shrimp on the barbie for you? :D I've graduated from a Bachelor in Tourism Management in 2010 and moved to Sweden straight after. I studied Swedish and did some part-time jobs the first year until I got admitted to a Master in Entrepreneurship at Lund University. I lived there for 2 years and started my own company, importing Portuguese wine to Sweden, which I still do up to now. During the 7 years that I've lived in Sweden I've also been working as a professional photographer and I'm part of a new brand of mens underwear called Charm My Snake, which is design in Sweden and made in Portugal. Other odd jobs I've done would be carpenter, painter, gardener, handy-man, Portuguese teacher and I've even written down addresses on thousands of envelopes once. All this to say, I'm a very easy going person, with no prejudices whatsoever. Now, 7 years after having arrived in Sweden, I feel that it is time for me to move on to my next adventure and start a new chapter in my life. I've been granted a Working Holiday Visa to Australia and I'll be landing in Sydney on the 20th of October. My plan at the moment is to spend a week or two in Sydney and then move to the Gold Coast where I'd love to spend at least a year. I'll most likely extend my visa a second year. I have a couple of friends living in Coolangata and Burleigh Heads so I'd love to find a room nearby as well. As I'm a big fan of the beach and ocean, the closer I can be to the coast, the better. Having a nice kitchen where to cook is also a big plus and as I rather cook for several people than just myself, it would be great that everyone in the house would have meals together most of the time. Having a barbie in the house would be the cherry on top of the cake! I'm into having a healthy lifestyle, surfing, photographing landscapes and people, going for walks on the beach, riding the bicycle and chasing sunsets. Best ending to the day would be hanging out with friends and drinking some good red wine, preferably on the beach. If you feel like we'd get along and are in need of a flatmate, feel free to send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you and see you soon in Australia! Straaaaaay! :) PS: You can check some of the places I've been on Instagram
