Hi there, we are 2 young professionals looking for accommodation in Sydney in 2019. I am moving to Sydney permanently and my friend is coming along on a working Holiday visa for a year. We are both from Finland but I havent actually lived there for the past 10 years. I've been traveling quite a bit as well as lived and studied in New Zealand for 7 years. We both have our Masters degrees (me psychology and Tinja sociology) and we are fun and social individuals wanting to see what Sydney has to offer. We are quite flexible when it comes to accommodation. We are happy to share a room or find our own Place but we are looking for a Place to stay from the 6th of February 2019 onwards.
Hi, I am Chamara and wish to start my studies from next end of February 2019 at USYD. I am from Sri Lanka. I am an easy going person and very social and open minded. I like to work a lot specially in my studies. Whenever I am not at work, I like to share my thoughts with others and traveling is an interesting activity for me. I like to keep to myself, but always I am open for any one as a good friend. I am looking for a neat and clean house/room that I can pursue my studies and place to make a good friends as well. Thanks Chamara
A little about us, my name is Camila, Im a Colombian in my mid 20s, I studied art and currently work in tourism. ill be in Sydney during the summer and I'm looking for a place to share with my boyfriend Ben. Ben is Australian, he is in his early 20s, studies philosophy and economics and is also very interested in music.. We will both be working part time, and probably be traveling a bit (for me to see more of Australia), but not too much due to our budget 😅... We are chilled easy going, and clean. We would be looking for a place to lease for two months initially (end December - end February). Please let me know if you'd take a couple so that we can arrange a viewing!
Hey I'm currently just doing part work and hopefully starting a internship in Sydney. I'm very easy to get along with and up for a good conversation anytime, I'm never intrusive though and mind my own business. I appreciate a clean and clutter free environment and always clean up after myself. Looking for some like minded entrepreneurs who like to motivate those around them.
I've been travelling solo for the best part of a year for study and pure interest, accustomed to sharing accommodation, and adapting to new environments. I am independent yet still enjoy company. I like to keep my space clean and tidy, so we won't be having annoying conversations about dirty dishes, etc. I'm a non smoker and take a healthy balanced approach to wellbeing. I teach yoga and meditation, and currently studying Anthropology, Philosophy and french language at The University of Sydney. I thrive living in a peaceful and calm space, among kind, easy going people.
I'm a Thai postgraduate student who will spend the next 1.5 years in USYD's business school starting from Feb 2019 and my class will be mostly in the evening.I love learning about different cultures. I am quite a quiet person but I also enjoy socializing and knowing new people. Actually, I'd love have a conversation in any topic if you give me enough time to do research. I'm open to team-up as well. Feel free to contact me!
I currently live in Perth and am moving over to Sydney late January. I will be studying full time and working part time as a Barista. I'm easy-going, clean and respectful of others space. I'm hoping to move in to a house with people that are quite social and that I can call my new home.
Hi there I am a student and I am study here till end of November. A work I already have and now I am looking for room, where I can finaly stay for long term and don't still move myself. I don't lot. I am very busy person, so actually I just need only somewhere sleep, that's it.
I'm looking to start a new share house or jump on a new lease with people who've already found a place. I've got a friend moving back to England who's going to sell me her fridge, very nice new sofas etc (there's a bed too if anyone needs one!) and so I've switched to looking for a new place that I can fill with artwork and plants and call home in the long term. I'm looking for a place in the Camperdown/Newtown/Stanmore/Enmore area for a two or three bedroom house or apartment. My budget ranges from $250-$300 depending on the right place and people. Happy to live with couples too if enough bathrooms but would want that to be a three bedroom place so not third wheeling. Originally from the UK, I'm moving to Sydney after five brilliant years in Brisbane. I am easy-going, creative, love my music and really looking forward to getting involved in what Sydney has to offer once I start my new job at USyd in Autism and Mental Health research. I like to live with people who all put together to make a happy household and share in the cleaning, the occasional meal or drinks together as well as sitting down to watch a good TV show or movie at the end of a long day every so often. Looking to live with people who eventually become friends. I'm considering getting my own old rescue cat or dog or would love if you have one too.
I’m a psychology student looking for friendly housemates. I’m a homebody and I like my space to be clean and tidy, so I am looking for others who also like to keep things tidy. I tend not to have wild nights out and prefer just hanging out and having a drink or two. I also need a parking spot (either off street or on street if street parking is always available). I love animals, I enjoy relaxing at home with housemates and going on adventures together every now and again. I also love cooking meals together. Shoot me a message if you think we’d get on. :) I’m looking for a place from early Feb 2019 - bonus points if public transport to Sydney uni is convenient!
I'm a friendly, quiet and relaxed person who has had a lot of experience sharehousing. When the weather is good, I love getting outside to go bike riding, hiking, camping etc. Looking for a share house near Uni of Syd as I will be starting my phd there in 2019.
Hello, I'm an Indonesian student looking for a snuggly new home in Sydney:) I'm flexible with any types of roomates but preferrably females and am looking for an accomodation with a reasonable price. I will be attending Taylor's College next year so it will be convenient to find a flat near the institution. Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking and painting (⌒o⌒)
Hi! Pretty flexible and not too hard to please. Looking for the following: *Something close to USYD (business school side of campus) *A room with natural light *Working and studying *Clean and considerate of other people, happy to follow house rules. *Furnishing optional (Please note the locations specified before messaging me, cheers)
Hi everyone! I'm easy going and always clean up after myself. I usually keep to myself but am always happy to chat. I love animals, particularly dogs so I'm fine if you have a pet (a little allergic to cats). I'm an IT student from Melbourne looking for a place to stay somewhere in Sydney for the rest of my internship (12 January to 12 February). My girlfriend intends on visiting from 18 Jan to 29 Feb. A few other things to know about me: - I don't intend to use any cooking facilities (my workplace provides me with food) - I work full time in the CBD (from ~10am to 6 or 7pm) - When my girlfriend visits we will likely be spending most days out and about. Neither of us drink, smoke or party. We're quiet people for the most part. Hope to hear from you :D
Hi! It's Mariam. I'm looking for a place near the main campus of Sydney University, and also near to either Newtown or Redfern stations. 15-20 minute walking distance either way is just about my limits. I'm an international student, by way of Singapore and the States, studying physiotherapy at Sydney Uni. I'm super outgoing and lively, but I love a good quiet moment too. Watching Netflix and going to the gym are my main forms of relaxing, but a good meal and drinks is amazing too. I'm very happy to keep to myself but I would love to live with people I can actually be close with. You won't have to worry about me, I'm clean and I like to keep my living areas that way. I don't cook too often, about once a week for dinner meal prep, and everything else is simple stuff. Drop me a line if you think we'll be a good fit!
Professional person working In health, have recently been offered and accepted a 3 year contract located at Everleigh, Sydney. I'm easygoing n tidy, love going to gigs, having friends over, listening to music, burning candles n incense and also i come as a package deal with my abundance of indoor plants :) they freshen the air ! <3
I'm a friendly, tidy and quiet guy, good at cooking and willing to share with others. I like hiking and travelling. I'm also into video games. I'm gay and single. I'm a bit shy and not into parties. Maybe that's why I'm single... BTW, I'm a PhD student in math, so I'll always be ready to help with mathematical problems if you need :)
I'm moving to Sydney (from Melbourne) in mid-late January to start postgrad med school at USyd, so I'm looking to move into a place for the long-term. My budget is approx $200/week. I would like to live in a place that is clean and comfortable, and to enjoy spending time with my fellow housemates. I'm sporty and active (play rugby union and love hiking), travel lots (currently live in China studying Mandarin), cook heaps, love a night out with a drink and a dance (now I feel like I'm writing a tinder profile...). A place with a garden would be awesome. I have a car, so any kind of parking is good - street parking is fine. Proximity to public transport and to Usyd is also key. If you've got something that would suit me, and think I would suit you, let me know!
About myself: Hello, I am a Korean veteran sergeant(SGT) who have left the force on the August 27, 2018. I have served the Combined (ROK-US) Force at the 'United Nation Command Security Battalion-Joint Security Area(UNCSB-JSA)'. Also known as 'PanMunJom(PMJ)' where Defector Incident(Nov 13, 2017) and Inter[North & South]Korean Summit(April 27, 2018) occurred recently(More infos in the News & Google). I have worked as an Intelligence Analyst(IA) in the army for 1.75 years and now I am back as a civilian but with a particular sets of skills, living & working in Australia. Team ups: I am planning to rent a newly built or modern apartment(At least a gym inc. as I like to keep myself fit) in the eastern suburbs(which is under 10 mins to central via train) and I am looking for someone who is tidy, respectful & pays bill on time, much like me(no prefer gender). If you are sick and tired of searching your own room at an overpriced old messy looking houses or apartment and your budget under $300, message me here at flatmates.com.au and we’ll team up to get a modern apartment under $300 no problem(Unless you want your own bathroom, we’ll have to negotiate a new price). I am very flexible with moving out dates, so do not be concerned about my ‘preferred move date’.
We are 2 french student, Adèle and Lucile, who are looking for a place to live in Sydney. We are currently living in a hostfamily but unfortunately it's too far away. We are clean and tidy, passionated about art and design and easy to live with. We will be in Sydney until May 2019.
Hey there! I'm a student at Sydney Uni and almost a high school teacher (only a year of uni to go!). I've had two short stints living out of home while studying overseas and have finally decided to bite the bullet and leave the nest here in Sydney. I am looking to live somewhere along the T1 train line - everywhere I need to go is along this line :) I'll be honest, I'm generally pretty quiet and am not really a party person. I do drink but not at all excessively (boring, right?). My ideal Saturday night is spent curled up at home watching Netflix. I absolutely adore cooking and I'm also a huge nerd for anything language or literature-related (books, movies, poetry, learning languages... I'm down). On the weekends (when I'm not working or studying), I love going to art galleries and museums, pottering around the shops or if the weather permits, going to the beach. As I'm studying full-time and also working four different part-time jobs, I'm not home much during the week so I'll have no problem staying out of your hair. Especially so whenever I'm on a teaching prac :)
Hey I'm Ryan, I'm new to Sydney, just started working! I'm a barista and have been travelling for the past 2 months now looking to settle in Sydney for a while. I'm originally from Blackpool in the U.K. and came here for amazing weather and opportunities. In my spare time I like hanging out with friends, being active and playing music in a band! I'm looking for somewhere no more than $300 with a nice clean kitchen!
