Hi! I'm Jennifer, and I am an incoming study abroad at the University of Sydney. I'm from the United States. I am looking for housing near USYD. I am super chill, and my favorite things to do are to go cafe hopping or trying lots of new restaurants, and spend my free time with cats and other animals. I'm looking for a private room from the start of August to the end of November / start of December!
Hey there! I'm an Indonesian exchange student coming to Sydney for 6 months between july and december. I am a clean, easy going person who doesn't smoke, loves cooking, plays a bit of sports and music here and there, and is always down for a hangout with some beer! I could use some help in getting a room for my stay.
Hi I'm Fraser! I'm an engineer working full time in Rosebury. I'm from New Zealand but I've spent the last year and a half travelling Europe, half of it in a van. I'm into the adventuring the outdoors, rock climbing and going to the beach. I'm quite tidy myself but I like a relaxed flat atmosphere. I'm looking to find a flat that is friends as I find it's a much more fun way to live. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit! :)
Hey all! I am moving with my boyfriend to Sydney for an exchange semester at the end of July. We are both Spanish students who want to life a new experience in this amazing country. We are very easygoing and respectful. We are looking for a couple room in a shared apartment
Hello, I'm Santiago, a civil engineer from Bogota, Colombia. I'm arriving at Australia in July to attend grad school at Sydney Uni. Hoping to find a nice place to live, with my own bedroom in a shared house. I'm looking forward to having an amazing time in Sydney: meet incredible people from all over the world, enjoy the beaches, and do all sorts of outdoorsy stuff available in the city.
Coming from the UK to Sydney uni on the 2nd of June for 8 months for a final year project. Can't hope to afford my own place so looking to find some friendly types for a semester or so! Gonna be around from the 2nd of June 'till the 7th of January, which is gonna make viewing places beforehand a tad tricky, but not sure exactly how much of an issue that's likely to be.. Not a particularly fussy being, anything goes really. Not afraid of the occasional coffee mug or 2 lying around but appreciate that a general lack of tidiness will drive folk to insanity. Spent the last 3 years in flats with a few others, so up to speed on the etiquette. I'm not likely to be found in a club somewhere, a few drinks in a makeshift lounge is generally where it's at, although always up for the occasional adventure! I can drive, but a car's not gonna fit in hand luggage so looking for somewhere relatively near the uni. Added a few suburbs I believe are close, but not restricted to those ones. Coming from Glasgow Uni as a 5th year engineering student, doing some research for a while & heading off again with a complete dissertation having done no procrastinating whatsoever...
I'm a 28 yr old woman working on a PhD in history at the University of Sydney. I've been renting/sharehousing for about 9 years (Brisbane and Sydney). I'm a clean, quiet, peaceful person. I'm pretty busy with life and like to have solid downtime at home, but I do enjoy a good chat at the end of a long day/week. Hobbies include fitness (gym, nature walks), writing, classical singing, reading, tv/movies, and I follow a few sports. When I'm home I like cooking and baking, reading, and watching a bit of tv (big sci fi fan). I'm looking for a calm, quiet, stable household for a long-term stay. I would ideally like to live with other postgrad students or professionals, but above all people who are considerate housemates and thoughtful of the impact we all have on each other when living together. Looking for a place with no regular parties, few guests over, no boyfriends/girlfriends who visit constantly and end up becoming de facto housemates, no loud music, no cooking late at night, no drugs. Not looking to live with a couple. I try to live a healthy lifestyle and tend to be in bed by 11-ish most nights, including weekends, and do not want to get woken up by late night noise. I am big on cleaning! I love to live in a beautiful clean and tidy place. I know not everyone is quite as enthusiastic as me about housework and that's fine, but I do need to live with people who are diligent with basic stuff like dishes, clean benches, clean bathroom and so on. I would prefer to be on the lease of the property. If the room is a sublet, we will need to have a written tenancy agreement. My rent budget is set at $270 max including bills. Without bills included I can't afford to go quite so high. Prefer to chat on here - please don't call/text if we haven't arranged it!
I am looking for a furnished place (shared house but private room) within reasonable distance to the Sydney CBD starting late May. I'm relocating from Brisbane and I work as a software professional. I'm flexible with leasing arrangements but prefer something stable. Thanks!
Hi, I am James, I am 25, originally from the UK. I have been in Sydney for the past year, I have been in various share houses across the city in that time, I love meeting new people and making new friends, I work full time 8;30-4:30 in the CBD for an insurance company, My ideal house would be a social one where we can share a drink in the evening or weekend but also not a party house and somewhere I can have privacy, I love going to the movies and also a big fan of the pub, I'm quite sporty and play for a football team on sundays. look forward to hearing from you.
Recently moved to central coast from QLD, looking at establishing myself in inner city life. quiet, tidy and respectful young women aware of share house etiquette. I work throughout the day and enjoy my own time but do love to kickback and have a laugh/cook with my roommates every so often :)
Hi people! I work full-time as a clinical psychologist in a hosptial setting, and after hours do my best to involve myself in as disparate hobbies as possible. Nah jokes but it does seem that way, between the motorbike riding and the knitting, the fantasy novel reading and the martial arts practicing. I'd love to find a friendly and easy-going share place that's within ten minutes walk of either central or redfern stations - I know that sounds awkwardly specific, but trust me I need it for the different places I go each week.
