I am friendly, accommodating, fun and a tidy person to live with. People say that I am very sweet :) I'm from India and have lived a few years in US and in Dubai. Shared flatmates for many years now and I enjoy being around people who are like minded and openhearted. I love to make friends and spend time with people, but I also need my personal space and time. I'm new in Sydney, just arrived in the country and looking for job opportunities in software. For fun, I love drawing n painting, yoga n meditation, traveling and meeting new people. I'm looking for a homestay/ flatshare with a private furnished room to myself for 2-3 months. If it is a flatshare, then preferably an all female household
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional weekend on call and VERY occasional evening or night shift. I'm British but have permanent residency in Australia and looking to get my citizenship when I can (2019!). I tend to listen to music (everything bar RnB/hip hop & drum 'n' bass) more than watch TV & I have decks at home for pretending to be a DJ, but wouldn't use them while you're home. When I do watch TV, it's the news, politics and docos on the ABC or SBS or on-semand stuff from Stan. Happy to also sit and watch a film together with a bottle of wine in the evening. I like to cook and would be happy to share meals, although I'm veggie so equally happy to do my own thing. I also love to entertain, either dinner or a bigger group for drinks. If you wanted to have a houseparty I could be convinced, but only for special occasions! I like to have the odd big night out, although this tends to just be on the long weekends and generally on the scene, although I am trying to find what else gay Sydney has to offer (recommendations welcome!) I'm looking to get a house rather than an apartment and I will be getting a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
We're an easy going, respectful couple from NZ. We're clean, courteous and aware of other people's thoughts and feelings. I work as an Account Manager at a Marketing Technology company. Meredith works in Architectural design and 3d Modelling. We love to go out to dinner or stay in and cook over a few drinks. We're partial to the odd sporting event or music festival. In saying that we love to stay fit and are quite career focused.
Hi, I'm looking for a furnished private room in Redfern and surroundings (Waterloo, Zetland, Eveleigh, eastern Alexandria, northern Rosebery...). $320/week MAX, all bills included. Spacious, bright, clean and tidy place, with friendly, sociable and respecful flatmate(s). I'm a clean, easy going, independent and respecful French guy who enjoys socialising, sharing a meal or a drink from time to time, visiting or going out with friends during weekends... Like to be kept busy! I'm working full-time in Waterloo/Zetland (normal business hours). Cheers!
My name is Djuna and I am an Australian PhD student moving to Sydney from Perth. I am super dependable and considerate, but sociable as well and am looking for flatmates who don't mind a chat. I will be doing my PhD at USyd and working, and between my hobbies of dancing, drawing and various forms of exercise I am hoping to lead a busy lifestyle! I love to cook and spend a lot of time being creative. As much as I love to hang out with my friends I also like home to be a peaceful place where I can relax and have my own space :) I am looking to relocate to Sydney towards the end of January but am reasonably flexible!
Friendly, clean, I like exploring and meeting people, good at giving people space and privacy. Medical school, working part time that involves travel.
I'm a full-time post graduate student at USyd who also works part time around uni, which keeps me really busy. I've lived in share houses in Sydney and the UK so am well house trained, and am looking for housemates who are ideally working full-time, equally busy and a house that can become a home. I'm friendly, social and would love to be able to have a laugh and share a drink and chill out with flatmates from time to time - but understand everyones need for privacy.
Hi, I'm Nicola. creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go, in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party, more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/cast cuddles are the best!
Hi everyone, I'm Tom. 28 year old moving back to Sydney after sometime interstate. I work as a full time doctor so spend a fair amount of the day / night out and about. Keen to move into a house with people who are good fun and enjoy a laugh. As I will be working out at Westmead I am chasing a place walking distance to Redfern or Central station. Look forward to hearing from you : )
LGBT couple, originally from New York. We're here getting our Master's degrees at Uni Sydney as well as working. Kiana works at ADCO and Maeve works at the horse stables at Centennial Park. We've been in Australia about a year and half and are looking for a great apartment to move into for the following year. We love to cook, go out with friends, bring a picnic to the park, and explore different parts of the city on the weekends. Happy to share a bottle of wine and enjoy the occasional party, but for the most part we are neat, quiet and studious. Ideally we would love some professional flatmates who are clean and friendly.
I am a primary school teacher from Canberra and my gf works in recruitment and is from Southampton, England. We are both super clean. We like to chill and exercise on weekdays but love to dance and have a drink or two on weekends! We are very respectful of our housemates :) we have both lived in plenty of share houses before and know the drill.
I am 25, bright and chirpy, I am quite sociable and outgoing but also like to keep to myself at times. I work part time and study Marketing part time, so I like to keep my weekdays super chilled and enjoy going out on weekends. I am always up for a chat, I don't cook so the kitchen will always be clean, but I am happy to taste test if you love to cook ;) I'll wash I like to keep tidy and don't tend to leave things around the place. I am looking for a like minded female to move into a new place with together. Looking to move around March/April Also I come with a fridge and washing machine if needed :)
Hi there! I'm 21 year old multinational (Danish/Swiss by blood) and I'm coming down under for one semester as an exchange student. When I'm not studying social sciences, I spend my time being busy with student-committe type engagement, making music, or picking up strange hobbies left and right (speed stacking, beatboxing, card magic or Kung-Fu to name a few). I've got a way to long bucket list when it comes to what I'll be doing while studying in Sydney, but going on trips into the nature, making new friends, learning to surf and busking are chief amongst them. I'm a great flatmate because I'm very easygoing and open. It's important to me that there is a sense of friendship between people that live together, even if we might not always agree on everything. Luckily I'm good with keeping things friendly and building respect for each others boundaries.
Hi, my name is Olivia and I'm from Sweden, currently living in Stockholm. I will be studying communication design in Sydney from February 20th for 2-3 years and I'm looking for a place to stay. I love pets but won't be taking any to Australia, like to go jogging or do yoga and enjoy eating healthy. If you feel like you would want to live with me, send me a message! :)

I'm a social, easy going guy. I work full time in the city and am home most week nights. On the weekends I try to pack a lot in and every few weeks I head up the coast to visit family. I have a Boxer who is a total dude, he loves everyone and it would be great if I could find a place with another dog. I'm open to moving into an existing house or starting up a new house.
I am a second year medical student studying at the University of Sydney and work casually throughout the year. Generally, I enjoy peace and quiet, but don't mind sharing meals or a cup of tea. In all likelihood I'll spend most of the time in my room, but I often go for runs in the morning and like going out during the day. I also enjoy reading and discussing books, especially on recommendation. I'm clean and tidy and have respect for all communal spaces. I'm also willing to contribute to cleaning or cooking rosters if they form part of the living arrangements of the house/flat. Looking forward to hearing from you!
clean, tidy, friendly, chill but respectful. I'm study and work 5 days a week so i have income stable. I'm Rose. I'm student and part time job. I'm looking for a nice place where make me feel like home. I'm friendly, tidy, organized, sociable, easy going, and also respectable. If I'm a person who you looking for please contact me.
Environmental Consultant|Sustainability Practitioner | Serious food lover | Globetrotter wannabe I have a full-time job in an Environmental consultancy in North Parramatta and looking to move from my current suburb to somewhere more or less at an hour distance (max.) to both work and city. What I wold like in an ideal flatmate: - Cleanliness & tidiness (you've been warned, I'm a bit OCD, especially when it comes to dishes in the sink) - Friendly disposition (we don't have to be best friends, but I don't want to live with a stranger) - Some consideration for the environment would be great too (e.g. if I move into a house, I'm totally getting a compost bin!) Other than that you should know that I love anything to do with food (cooking, eating, even grocery shopping!) and I'm pretty keen on outdoors activities (and always looking for new companions for walks, hikes and the like)! If it sounds like we could be compatible, sent me a message ASAP! I'd love to hear from you. I'm also happy to look for a place together with the right person.
Hi! I am moving to AUS from the other land of OZ (aka: Kansas, the home of Dorothy, Toto, and the Wizard). I will be attending the University of Sydney Doctor of Veterinary program, so I will spend a lot of time studying! However in my free time I love running and being outdoors so if anyone wants a roommate/running buddy I'm your girl! One plus about me as a roommate is that when I am stressed, I productively procrastinate by cleaning.
Newish to Sydney after spending the last two years living in Edinburgh. I work full time at a cafe in the CBD so I'm looking for somewhere inner-city-ish to live long term. I'm pretty easy-going, friendly and tidy. I like to hang out and have a few reds with housemates but can be respectful of people's space when they need it.
I love to be clean. (messily clean) And I love to cook (Cooking is one way for me to think too) I would say that I enjoy life and have a set of healthy philosophy to guide me. I love to travel and love to read ( I am reacently reading David Brooks' "The Road to Character") I appreciate art ( I was an art student in high school). Coffee shops and museums are two of my favorite places. I also go to gym. I like hiking too. I appreciate being alone and I enjoy group activities. I am going to study a master program of peace and conflict studies at the University of Sydney this month. I am looking forward to find more about Sydney.
I am a South African, 25, moving to Sydney for work in early 2017. I am clean, tidy, and considerate in the way I live, and take pride in my space. During the week I will be probably be low-key as work can be quite hectic, butI love cooking, so on weekends I would enjoy having a meal with some new friendly housemates!
Vietnamese guy from Canada 22 years old moving to Australia next month on December 8th to expand horizons and meet new great peeps hopefully local or the ones that have been around for a long time already to share knowledge to a rookie and obviously befriend along the way! I'm perfectly fine if you'd rather do your own things or have privacy of your own because I can be discreet as well. The choice is up to you! I will be over there on a working holiday visa so I'll probably be working most of the time, but I'm down to chit chat over a meal/drink or hang out on my days off! I'm very much like a lot of other people on here who mean nothing but the overall well-being of everyone and to have fun as well while harmoniously living together. I also speak french because I live in the french part of Canada (Quebec) so if you happen to have an interest in the language or you are currently taking courses I will gladly do everything that I can to help you on my spare time. Oh and I'm gay. That pretty much sums up the human being that I am so if you like my description please do not hesitate to hit me up! 😊
Looking for a sweet little spot in Sydney for myself a few sewing machines and a couple of plants.. Hey, My names Adam. I'm looking for a place to move into, on or around the 28th January for a long term lease. Ideal suburbs would be Surry Hills, Redfern, Darlinghurst and Paddington. A little about myself, by day I work a full time job in sales (not the most riveting work) but it does give me the flexibility, to work the job which is my passion, as a music photographer and video producer. I photograph around 3 times a week in the evenings and work 1-2 weekends per month doing video work. I can be quite busy, but like to chill when I get the chance. I enjoy a good evening in with nice food and a good film/TV show, as well as going out for sushi/markets/drinks on the weekend. Cheers for your time. Adam
I'm an easy going guy who's recently moved over from England, I'm always up for a laugh and enjoy meeting new people. I'm clean and tidy so hopefully easy to live with in that sense too! Ideally I'd really like a place with fun people who hang out together. My interests include all sorts so I'm really down for anything whether it's going out for drinks / food, watching a film or sport, exploring Sydney or just lying on the beach I'm happy. I'm currently living in Coogee with people who are moving onto Melbourne but I am staying in the Sydney area to continue my job in the cbd.
Hello Housemate Seekers My boyfriend Sam and I are looking for a room in an existing share house, or some like-minded individuals to find a new place with. We are both in our late 20's - Sam manages a pub in the inner west and is looking to study masters of teaching next year. I'm working for a NGO in the international development space. We both generally work 9-5 hours. We're looking for a place we can call home - somewhere where we can spend time with housemates, sharing a meal and a drink, but also somewhere we can have our own space and privacy when needed, xand of course respect that of our housemates!. We both love to cook and I'm currently into pot plants :) We also have a lovely kelpie cross jack russell called Druss. He is super friendly and well behaved and I have no doubt that you would love him too! We are all up for being part of a cleaning roster if you have one and are happy to contribute to shared food / other house items etc. Get in touch if you think we'd suit you!
Hi there! My name is Jenna, I am a second year Masters student at the University of Sydney, and also work at a local restaurant. I am originally from Canada and plan on spending at least the next year in Sydney while I finish up my program. I'm easy going, friendly and very tidy. I'm currently looking for a comfortable place to live with roommates who are respectful, can enjoy a glass of wine and maybe cook together! I definitely try to maintain a social and active lifestyle on week nights/weekends when I can, being outdoors, hanging out with friends and check out the food scene Sydney has to offer. Let me know if you have any questions at all. Look forward to hearing from you soon!
My name is Bodil, 21 year old girl from Sweden. Im calm, social and fun as a roommate. I have also lived in shared apartment before and it has worked perfect. I'm an American on a working holiday for the year. I am very friendly and very tidy. I'm a graphic designer and usually work a 9-5 schedule. I can keep to myself or hang out- I'm easy going with a fun personality. I don't bring the party home but would like to have people over for drinks every once in a while. I play roller derby and I try to keep busy with exploring what Sydney has to offer!
Hey! My name is Grace and I'm currently in my final year of a Bachelor of Art Theory at UNSW art & design in Paddington. During the week whenever I'm not in class I'm working as a part time nanny in paddington. I'm an easygoing adventurous girl who loves to travel, get together with friends, hang out at the beach and explore new areas of Sydney (I only moved here 2 years ago from a small country town) In the past I've really enjoyed having nice little 'family dinners' with my housemates every so often and sharing a drink together after a long week of work/uni so I'm looking for a group of people who are friendly and like to get together for a drink/meal every so often. Hope to hear from you!
Hey there, I'm a friendly french PhD student, working with honeybees (meaning free honey for everyone :)). I do enjoy my work and science, but I'm also very keen on exploring all the arty (and maybe alternative) part of Sydney (into Theater that I used to do a lot back in France), the movies, reading, dancing and so on! I also love to cook (but hate cooking for myself only) and I'm pretty social, but like also having a quite one every now and then :). I'm also into the outdoors, like cycling, hiking going to the beach... And that's it :) Merci
I'm a 29 year old male mechanical engineer. I am laid back and clean. I am quite fond of having a few beers and relaxing on weekends. Looking to stay in a 3 or 4 bed type accommodation. Looking to keep things simple by living in a house share with other laid back and social flatmates.
Hello! My name is Emerald, I'm a 25 year old relocating to Sydney to start full-time work as a doctor at St George Hospital in late January. A little bit about me - (fairly standard) - I lead a pretty busy lifestyle and will probably be working a fair bit this year. When I'm not at work I like food & wine, and lead a fairly active lifestyle. I try to gym, (...partly to undo all the aforementioned food & wine!), and like to be outdoors (especially the beach!) I'm a fairly independent person who respects people's privacy and sometimes needs some downtime myself. However, I'm fairly social and generally always up for a chat around the house, as well as the occasional dinner and/or drinks! I will be fairly new to the area, so am keen to explore what my new suburb has to offer. I'm clean, tidy and quiet, and like to live in a homely environment. Have previously lived in share housing so am very house trained. Cheers! :)
