I am a fourth year PhD student at the University of Sydney. I am an outdoorsy person who is fond of animals. I like an apartment clean enough to feel comfy and not stick to surfaces and I am willing to do my share to keep it that way. Since it's my last year I am pretty busy with my PhD and am not looking for party accommodation. I am quiet and reliable.
I've been travelling for the past 7 months and sharing accommodation with others so I'm accustomed to meeting new people and adapting to new environments easily. I am independent yet still enjoy company. I like to keep my space clean and tidy, so we won't be having annoying conversations about dirty dishes, etc. I'm a non smoker and like to keep fit and health. I'm a yoga teacher as well as studying anthropology and french. I like to live in a place that I feel relaxed and comfortable in.
I'm a designer in his first thirties, I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney by the end of August to take a new position in my company. I consider myself an enjoyable and open-minded person, in my space I'm tidy and clean but not obsessive in the common area
Hey! My name is Katie and my partner Nick and I are looking for a room for a couple close to Redfern Station (within walking distance). We are both in our mid 20s and working in public health. We’re both friendly, easygoing, tidy, and love meeting new people. In our spare time we are pretty social, enjoy spending time with friends, going to the beach, or down time at home (I’m a bit of a podcast addict). Looking for a couple room preferably with an ensuite but are flexible. We are hoping to join a share house and meet some new people. Hope to hear from you! 🌈☺️
My name is Claire and I'm moving from Adelaide to Sydney on August 25th. I'm 29 and will be working full time for Sydney Theatre Company. I love plants, art, walks, food/wine, comedy, fashion, chill time with friends, movie nights, small bars and cafes. I do illustration freelance if I have spare time. I'm looking for somewhere bright and beautiful to call home - balconies + floorboards + plants a plus!!! I would love to live with housemates who are like-minded to me. I'm tidy and respectful of others' space and needs and have a lot of sharehouse experience. Would love to live with a cat or dog as I don't have pets of my own. Let me know if you're keen to chat!
Easy going relaxed guy, current place is disbanding so looking for a new room. From Melbourne originally, I play squash, dodgeball and like to go exploring around Sydney in my spare time. Working full time so not looking for a party house, wouldn't mind living with people that like a drink here and there though!
Hey everyone, my name is Danny and I’m 26 from from England. I’m working full time as an electrician on the new uni accommodation on Darlington rd. Ideally I’d like to be within walking distance or a short train/bus journey to work. I’m looking at staying in Sydney until Christmas, with the possibility of staying longer. Looking to rent a one bed flat/studio or flatshare in Redfern, Newtown or surrounding areas. I’m a clean, tidy and respectful person, who is self sufficient and likes to keep myself to myself. However, equally I'm outgoing and like to socialise with a range of people but respectful of people’s personal space. Please give me a message if you have questions thanks
- Looking to move on/after 18th August - I'm a 27 yr old woman working on a PhD in history at the University of Sydney. I'm a clean, quiet, peaceful person. I'm pretty busy with life and like to have solid downtime at home, but I do enjoy a good chat at the end of a long day/week. Hobbies include fitness (gym and boxing), writing, classical singing, reading, tv/movies, and I follow a few sports. I'm out quite a few nights each week with sport or with music rehearsals, and when I'm home I like cooking and baking, reading, and watching a bit of tv (big sci fi fan). I'm looking for a calm, quiet, stable household for a long-term stay. I would ideally like to live with other postgrad students or professionals, but above all people who are considerate housemates and thoughtful of the impact we all have on each other when living together. Looking for a place with no regular parties, few guests over, no boyfriends/girlfriends who visit constantly and end up becoming de facto housemates, no loud music, no cooking late at night, no drugs. I am big on cleaning! I love to live in a beautiful clean and tidy place. I know not everyone is quite as enthusiastic as me about housework and that's fine, but I do need to live with people who are diligent with basic stuff like dishes, clean benches, clean bathroom and so on. My rent budget is set at $300 - this is ideally including bills. Without bills included I probably can't afford to go quite so high. I'm a bit flexible here!
Hi, I am working full time. I am a tidy, easy-going and a very positive person. I would love to stay near a train station as I commute to work via train to the city despite the fact that I work to different suburbs almost every single day. I normally work at daytime but there are also times where I will need to work at night. I am an adrenaline junkie. You cannot usually find me in my house or within the city on weekends as I normally do outdoor activities on my free time. I am into camping, hiking, mountaineering, bush-walking, skydiving, and other sports which requires you to stay outside of your comfort zone. I am also always up for a beer, whiskey or wine with my housemates at night after work since it's another way to have a good conversation but also respect those who don't drink, their space and privacy. I will consider teaming up to start a fresh lease and available to move on 12th onwards.
Just a chilled out guy looking for a bit of space to get out the stress of hostels! Only know a handful of people in Sydney so late looking to move in with people who are quite sociable, however really looking to have my own room. From Scotland, on a working holiday visa until next March and working as a labourer so I’m out the door early in the morning and in bed early at night. The areas I’ve listed aren’t concrete and I’d be happy to consider any area really as long as it’s quite near a train station.
I am a construction diver who leaves for work early and retires early. I don't drink or smoke...will quietly play guitar and video games and prepare quite spartan meals.
I'm Caitlin. I just moved back to Sydney a few months ago after doing a stint in Auckland (from the US originally but don’t hold it against me). I’m honest to a fault, independent, and very clean. I'm always up for a glass of wine with my housemates but know that people like having their space too. I have a master’s degree in maritime archaeology, which basically means I love shipwrecks. I'm currently doing a certificate in project management in hopes it'll help me get a job in my field. I currently work at a market research company. Let me know if you are doing any viewings.
I am a student from Brazil, currently working in a bar and studuying at saturday mornings. Like to always have a good time and get to know new people. Going to the gym, practicing sports and having a drink are some of my interests as well. Open to all kinds of people and interested in meeting new people and cultures. Will always respect each other own privacy and help the place stay as conforting as it can be.
Heey guys, I'm Eric an 18 year old student studying Civil Engineering at UTS. I grew up in Coffs Harbour and moved to Sydney this year. I'm looking for a sociable place (preferably furnished) with loose and outgoing housemates who are ideally also students and/or below 30. In my spare time I play guitar, write/produce music, go to gigs and like to crack open a cold one with the boys. I wash my dishes, clean after myself and have self diagnosed mild OCD so I won't turn your place into a junkyard. Anyways, hit me up if I've sold myself well enough lmao

Hi there. My name is Duy, I am a Vietnamese who is currently living at South Bend, IN, USA. At the End of September, I will move to Usyd for my Ph.D. study. I would like to find a room for a long-term stay. About me, I am friendly and open. I can speak good English, French, Russian, Spanish and native in Vietnamese. I have been living in several countries before, so I can live comfortably with anyone without any preference. I can also play a good guitar player and be willing to teach any of my future roommate guitar lessons for free. I am a non-smoking, non-alcoholic person. I focus most of my time on my research, so I am very private and quiet, and value privacy well. Thank you.

I'm a Sydney-born 40 year old working in the education sector who has lived abroad and now back in town. I've been fortunate to have my parents accommodate me since being back but now that I've regained employment, I'm looking into having some space of my own again. I'm generally an easy-going, quite independent and open-minded ambivert of Portuguese ancestry. I do like to bake and cook but haven't done so in quite a while. When I'm not working, I do like to stay at home but also go out to catch up with family and friends. My privacy and personal space is very important to me. As I have a car, I'd prefer to have a car space OR on-street parking nearby. A personal bathroom would be ideal but not essential and this goes for internet access as well. Although furnished/semi-furnished is preferable, I don't mind moving into somewhere which is unfurnished since I'll be renting long-term. Although I'd prefer to have a place of my own, I'm open to moving into with 1-2 other people. (can be flexible) If I end up sharing with others, they'd need to be independent, mindful and respectful of one's privacy and personal space, contributing to maintain a clean and harmonious household. I don't like a lot of noise so a (somewhat) quiet place is preferred.
Hey, I'm Ogi. I'm 27, and work full time in an architecture firm in Surry Hills. I work regular hours, and generally get done by 6/6.30pm. When home, I like to relax and watch movies or tv shows, maybe play a video game or 2. Otherwise i'm out hanging with friends, and exploring what our city has to offer.
I am a student who plan to study at Taylor College and would love to meet new friends. Hope I could find a place nearby the Uni.
