I am Danish girl studying at UQ and I can't wait to experience study life and Brisbane! I wish to live with other people and be a part of a shared house that like to socialise and get to know eachother. It is important to me that the house is clean and nice, and I don't hesitate helping out with that. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm a very easy going and reliable person to live with. I'm looking to live with people who respect each others space are social, but not a party house. I am currently studying primary education at UQ and work part time at IGA. I have a variety of interests including movies and books, and love going to gigs whenever possible.
Hey I'm Harry i just moved to the city from the Noosa area and need a place to call home. I'm just a average dude i like a few beers every now and again and heading to the beach other then that i don't really know what to say so feel free to give me a call.
34 years old and work as a freelance photographer and an arts therapist. At the moment, I work from home about 3 days a week (editing and planning) and 2-3 days out on location. I'm into sharing meals, wine, heart to heart chats and all that good stuff to get to know the people I'm living with. I value people and open communication. I would like to live in a multi cultural home, as diversity is the spice of life. I'm interested in permaculture, but yet to gain the skills, willing to put the hours into the garden to get my thumbs green. I'm quirky and creative. I enjoy gatherings and being social and every now and again I'll go off on a silent retreat when I need a little zen time and clarity. I love all kinds of music from around the world. Other loves... nature, dancing (african and latin), yoga (I gotta get back on that bike ;) ), travel, movies, documentaries, food, talks that scratch the surface, acting like a kitty cat and putting on random accents. If I sound like your hommie to be, feel free to contact me :) Also, I'm looking to move at the start of November, but if I find a suitable place sooner, then I can be flexible with dates. I live in the South side but much prefer the creative and diverse flow of the North folk. Marlène (aka Marz)
Starting my masters in environmental management and I'm also working part time as a barista. Love my music and basketball. I'm really good at doing my dishes and helping around the house and I'm always down for chats and hang outs. Hope to hear from you! Paddy
Hi! Tanya and I are international undergrad students studying at UQ and Griffith, respectively. We're from India, and are huge movie buffs- seriously we love watching lots of 'em! We also love dancing and, while we know how to have fun, we also appreciate having our personal space and quiet. We like to think we're hygienic and prefer to keep the common areas and our rooms clean. Also, we're sisters hahah
Hey I'm Lorrin. I just moved to Brisbane to work and I'm starting university at UQ in September. I have a temporary place at the moment so I'm looking for a more stable address. I'm pretty easy-going and a little awkward, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time but also respect people's privacy and personal space. I can afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane permanently and hope I can find some good people to get to know.
From Canada, born and raised, soon to start studying at UQ. Seeing as this is my first time here, I'm keen on exploring the region during my off time, however I'm perfectly fine staying at home and relaxing as well. I'm a pretty easy going and respectful person that likes to keep my area tidy. To be honest I'm pretty terrible at describing myself, but if you have any specific questions about my character or just questions in general I'd be happy to answer them.
experienced in share house living, pretty sane and reliable health conscious kinda person, can appreciate having a nice clean relaxed living environment where we can respect each others space while hanging out when up for it,im looking into study and have some part time work on the go and being closer to brisbane would make all that easier..feel free to hit me me with any questions, cheers joel
Hi, I’m a 18 year old student, studying at Yeronga State High School. I have lived share house in Tennyson, but I have to find another place. Because the owner’s family will move in this house. I would like to find a nice place for at least 6 months, even more, so not to move around all the time. It would be great to find a private furnished room in shared house. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else.
Im in my late 30s, studying at the QCA, and working as a life drawing model and in hospitality. Generally pretty busy. Try to get a bit of yoga or walking in regularly, keep abreast of global politics and social justice, & enjoy a good discussion over coffee/beer/wine! My 8 year old son stays with me two nights per week. He's a chilled out kid with good manners, into gaming, lego etc. Im looking for a quiet place with room enough for me to set up an art/study space.
We are a down to earth couple looking for accommodation around September this year once our lease is up! Sam and I love a good chinwag and are originally kiwis who have been on the Sunshine Coast for the past few years. Iesha: currently at griffith uni & working two jobs Sam: bar supervisor in brisbane cbd The two of us are laid back and if you’ve got a decent Spotify playlist or can appreciate almost all genres we are bound to get along. We recently got two ragdoll x kittens that are very affectionate and will be moving with us, wherever we go! If Sam and I aren’t spending time with the cats then we’ll be eating out somewhere in the city. Ideally, we are looking to move into a place with someone/people that are willing to socialise with us and not hide away in their room 24/7, but we understand and respect personal space. Additionally, we expect our home to reflect our personalities so a tidy house (where everyone helps out) is a must. Overall, we’re just two peas in a pod that are low maintenance, easy going and looking for a decent set of housemates to live and do fun stuff with. Shoot us a message if we sound like possible additions to your family or if you have any other questions! We look forward to hearing from anyone who managed to get to the end of this very long ad lol
Young couple keen to find another couple to live with on the southside but close to the CBD. One of us studies while the other works in the film industry. Keen on weekend adventures but can be quiet and respectful when needed. Always up for a social beverage and we love doggos. After a house or townhouse not an apartment.
Hey, my name is Maya. I'm 22 years old and am in my forth year of a Marketing/Journalism degree at UQ. I am a clean person who will always contribute to household duties. I enjoy cooking (so socialising over dinners would be great!), a bit of reading, and live a fairly active lifestyle. I'm originally from the Sunny Coast so I try go up there when I'm not busy with uni and work. I work at the Lorna Jane head office in Eagle Farm. I am looking to live with people who are fun and enjoyable to be around. People who don't mind having a laugh. I will also give you your own personal space - because I know that I'll sometimes want that in return. If you want any other info please message me! If you think I would suit the dynamic of your house I would love to meet you and check the place out. Thanks :) Maya.
Hey guys! First thing first you need to be a woofer person. I have two pups who are super friendly and well trained. I'm an easy going, laid back lady with a full time job as events manager in south bank. I like to chill out and meet new people. I am always down for a beverage and would love a place where we can hang out with a few drinks or go on a massive Netflix binge. I am also conscious of others who want some space and alone time. I would love to find flatmates who share similar ideas! Looking for a place in September, ideally with a big backyard and nice deck to chill on in the summer. Would love to team up and find a cracker place together and make a nice little home ☺️ 🐶🐶
Interesting coversationalist, clean and keep to my own area. I'm a member of a historical reenactment club and of course have a job to pay for it. Security guard at a QLD health facility. I ride a motorcycle and am a volunteer in the Logan SES so I'll be the go to guy in the event of a major catastrophy :) Good manners and respectful of others and their property.
Hi I'm Jacob Looking to move into a new place at the end of July. I am a social person with a love of making meals for friends and playing board games with those friends I'm a Games designer and Escape room tech so I'm a bit of an eccentric personality who likes nothing more than curling up after a long day and watching some movies. Been share housing for a few years now clean and tidy is how I like it and I'm no stranger to a good house clean when its necessary.
I like to have fun, but also enjoy time to myself. Very mature for a 23 year old due to moving out of home at an early age. I work a lot and study at the same time.
Hi! My name is Kesh, 25 years old. I am currently studying my postgraduate degree in Human Services at Griffith Uni and working as a part time in a local fast food place. I am clean and respectful of privacy and can also socialise. I play video games, watch TV and read books for fun. I don't smoke and party so I am the ideal housemate. I am looking for a place with a spacious room near a bus stop/station as I do not have a car.
