I'm a full-time uni student in UQ and work part-time on weekends. I love coffee, video games and the beach, and occasionally works out in the gym. I respect other's privacy but wouldn't mind having to socialise now and then. I don't smoke nor organise house-parties.

I'm a very passionate person with many hobbies such as playing music, making art, writing, practicing yoga, meditating, dancing, cooking and learning about science! Hey there house mate seekers! My name is Lauren, proud best friend to Millah 8 year old border collie x kelpie who is very well mannered, desexed and vaxenates. As for my self tend to be very handy and able to fix almost anything, full of facts, If not then there's a good chance of a learning opportunity. I’m doing my PhD at UQ in developmental biology looking at heart development. In my spare time, I like to keep active by going for jogs, hiking, swimming and cycling. I also like to travel when I get the chance. I’m a pretty easy going flatmate as my work keeps me busy most of the time! I also have a kitty who is very social and playful. :)
My nationality is peruvian, but I have been living in Australia for the last 10 years. Currently, I live in Adelaide where I have worked as an Electronic Engineer until last year. Now, moving to Brisbane to start my PhD at UQ in April. I am very friendly and I am always open to learning more about other countries and cultures, as well as showing all the things that Peru has to offer... especially the food!!! I also enjoy watching and practicing soccer sometimes and recently I have become interested in yoga., as I think it will help me to cope with all the challenges involved in a PhD.
Hi, I'm 27 and work full time as a Body Corporate Manager in the CBD. I spend most of my free time at the gym, playing video games, or watching movies. I'm a bit introverted but warm up to people quickly :)
ATTENTION: In Desperate Need of a Private Bedroom in a Sharehouse, With Mostly Females :-) Hello Everyone My name is Melanie, I am 21 turning 22 in April and I currently work part-time in a retail department store in Brisbane City. I have been working in the retail industry for over 5 years now and enjoy communicating with people and helping them to find what they are looking for. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan and Indian, and I was born in Brisbane. What makes me a great person to live? I respect peoples privacy and space, I am an independent individual that is responsible and will pay the bills and rent on time. I don't drink or smoke and I am not a party person, so you wouldn't need to worry about that :-) In addition, I enjoy a good chat and would love to get to know my housemates over dinner. What do I like to do for fun? On the weekend I love to catch up with friends over coffee or go to Southbank. I also enjoy spending time on my own watching Netflix and going for walks to clear my mind. P.S The maximum I can afford is $185 per week including all bills, please only message me if your post is under $185 or under and includes all bills:-) Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon
I am a researcher working in plant pathology, currently living in Toowoomba. Just been offered a 3 month contract in Brisbane, so looking for a short-term home :) I LOVE animals and the outdoors. I'm quiet, clean and tidy.

I'm very responsible and easygoing but always up for any party or activity ! Feel free to start a chat if you want to know more about me. Bye !
I do shift work so I am hardly home and have a super active social life (playing sports and hanging with friends and family).
Hey! My name is Emma and I am 27. I am currently studying a full time Masters Degree at UQ. I work part time and find myself very busy during the weeks. I really love staying active, hanging out with my friends and having the odd drink or two on occasion. I am really friendly and outgoing although like to have some time to myself. I am ideally looking for more mature flatmates, perhaps professionals or those doing postgrad study. I am really tidy and respectful of others. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Tessa and looking for a place to stay. I'm a PhD student at UQ, so during the week I'm working at Uni and during the weekends I'm often out and about. I like a place with privacy so I can rewind when coming home. I also love the occasional chat to tell all the good and funny stories that happened that day. I am very tidy, so I appreciate it if my housemates are also like that. I'm looking for a room with own bathroom. A rental price between 200-250 AUD/week (depending on what bills are included) would be great. If there's a bit of extra storage so I can put my stuff away that would be great. I do have a car so parking (on or off street) would be great. Love to hear from you if you think it would be a match. Cheers, Tessa
I’ll write something a little later!
Hello! I'm a researcher/research student at UQ, and I also tutor in architecture. I have previously lived on the Gold Coast and in Hobart and I enjoyed it. I'm organized and clean up after myself. I enjoy the occasional chat but also value personal space. I'm looking for a place to call home - let me know if you're looking for me. :)
Hi, I'm Lisa, I am clean, tidy and sociable. I will be moving to Brisbane in July. I am looking to rent a bedroom in a house share or going flat/house hunting with like-minded people :) I am a student, very open-minded and up for anything! I like to go out and explore, I love to cook or go out for dinner or drinks.
Looking for somewhere to live near the centre of Brisbane but not too close, will be moving for the first time, hoping for social housemates, easy going, wanting a place until February
We are an easy-going couple who are trying to find a nice place to share with friendly people. We enjoy going out to restaurants and the cinemas, we also like to stay at home watching tv/movies. It will be great to join a house who has sociable people that also enjoy having a fun time on the weekends. He works full time and she works part time and is studying her masters. We are looking for the master bedroom with en-suite. We have our own furniture or can use what is already there. We both have cars and would require a place to park, either on the street or on the property. We would also need to be within easy walking distance to a train station. Our max budget includes the bills and internet. We look forward to hearing from you :)
Hello there! My name is Becca :) I am a 25 year old student who has just begun a Masters of Dietetics at UQ (evidently, I reaaaally enjoy food and cooking). Between this and work, I generally lead a pretty busy life and am home similar hours to an office-worker. While I do have a tendency to hermit myself during the week while I'm in study/exam mode, I am still undoubetedly a sociable lass who enjoys a chat, a Netflix get-together on a rainy Sunday, or a nice, quiet wine on a Friday afternoon. I have a partner-in-crime (my dog, Pablo), who will evidently be needing to relocate with me. He is a totally loveable little goofball of a staffy - LOVES humans and adores cuddles. His nickname is Sloth, as he tends to do nothing during the day/sleeps when no-ones home. All in all, he's a perfect housemate, and leaves things just as clean as I left them. My main priority is that any potential housemates also love dogs, as Pablo always enjoys chilling with the humans or being a fellow couch potato with you if I'm at uni/work. I'm currently in the process of attending a bunch of house inspections in Bardon/Taringa/Indooroopilly area and looking to move into a place mid-March/end of March. All properties are 3 bedrooms, with an outside area absolutely essential (good for Pablo and I like an outdoor area if anyone wishes to have friends over); at this stage rent is looking roughly at $150-$160/room for all the properties. My parents (by luck) just downsized from a giant house in Kenmore to an apartment (and so had to refurnish because none of the furniture fit), so I pretty much have enough stuff to furnish a small home (particularly if you have no furniture to bring over with you), with the exception of a sofa and beds. SO if you are looking to set up shop in a place that actually feels like a home (i.e. share the occasional meal if we're all on the same schedule, the freedom to invite friends over, enjoy a good movie night or beer), then please feel free to message me!!
We are a couple from the sunshine coast looking to make the move to the city of Brisbane. I am currently studying full time at USC and working part time, though I am due to transfer into QUT at Gardens point for the second semester of the year. Emma is studying Creative Writing at USC and is due to finish her degree by the end of the year. We are a tidy couple that will fit into most households. We like to have a few drinks from time to time and love good banter.
I am a 19 year old student currently in my second year studying a bachelor of business at Griffith University. I am responsible, extremely neat, sociable, easy going, organised, quiet, respectable and clean. I’m mostly a private person and will definitely respect others privacy. I work mostly at night and can pay on time.
