Hey, I'm Jay. I've been living in Darwin for 6 months and working full-time as a botanist with the Government. I'm an easy going and social person but also like time to myself. When I'm not at work I enjoy playing sport, photography and camping. Always keen for social drinks and good chats. Looking for a friendly but not rowdy house that's tidy.
Hi.. I'm a 36 year old male. I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist and I'm moving to Darwin in September 2018 on a skilled migrant visa. I'm very tidy and friends say that there's never a dull moment with me even though I can be serious at times. I tend to stick to a small circle of friends. I love having a good time, grab a beer together on evenings/weekends, watch movies or just hang out. I also love cooking and trying out different cuisines.
Will be moving up from Sydney to start my teaching career. I love the arts and consider myself an artist, which is what I do in my spare time. My oil paintings generally focus on Australian native flora and landscapes. Keen to crack open a cold one and indulge in a good yarn. I like to be active, paint, drink (quality Tooheys) and socialise. I like playing a mean game of pool, chess or poker. I love going to local gigs and i'm in to yob rock > Cosmic Psychos are one of my favourite bands. I also appreciate quiet time and the importance of napping. Love dogs, allergic to cats. I'm pretty laidback and I'm clean. Message me for other details. Also looking for mates - don't know a single soul up North.
Hey, my name's Alex and i'm 21. I'm employed full-time for defence so i'm reliable with payments. I'm easy going and flexible with living arrangements, not a whole lot bothers me. I go to the gym, eat heaps and drink when i feel like it; usually on the weekend. I'm almost always keen for an adventure as well as open to trying new things. I can be social but know when to give a person space. I have a pet snake, Francesca. She is possibly the friendliest snake you will ever meet. I'm on here to meet new people and pay less for rent :)
Hey guys, We're a couple from Melbourne and have driven up to Darwin for work, better weather and a bit of adventure. We'll be living in Darwin for at least 6 months, potentially more, and we're looking for a fun-loving group of people to live with. We're pretty easy going, enjoy a beer and getting outdoors. We've sadly left 2 Staffy's at home, so we'd love a house with dogleys! Jess- I'm a paramedic and a nurse. I love camping, picnics, coffee dates and ice cream. Joel- He's a psych nurse, but will be working 9-5. He's scared of spiders, snakes, sharks and everything else Australian and will probably kick my arse when he reads this, haha. He loves his AFL and follows Hawthorn. He's a die-hard beer fan, digs vinyl, skating and animals (except for the scary Australian ones). We understand the share-house etiquette, we are self sufficient, will respect your space and always light a match ;) Give us a call or shoot us a message with any questions

I’ve moved up to Darwin in April and would like to move in with someone when my current lease finishes in November for ~6 months. I am looking to live in a modern and ideally fully furnished property with a car port. I work full-time as a Dietitan. I am clean, respectful and have a warm personality - I am new to the area so would ideally like to meet people & make some new friends. I love low-key nights and the occasional big one when I'm in the mood. I enjoy cooking, reading, bingeing TV shows, going for runs/walks, gym & yoga! I'd like to live with a female housemate that works full-time like in health care or a professional and would keen to hang/chill out. If this sounds like you please drop me a message - would love to meet and see if we’d be suitable roomies! Naina :)
We have recently moved to Darwin from Perth. We are a couple from the UK and China. We are very easy going people, very clean and tidy and like to live in a clean environment. We are easy to talk with and also like to have our own privacy. I am a uni student working part time and my partner is a full time employee.
Hi my name is Sabine and I am a friendly and respectfull person. Unfortunately due to a floor issue in my current appartment I have to move out when work construction will commence. I am a landlord of a property in Perth myself and I will treat the place I live in with respect. I also run a cleaning business in Perth and you will get a very clean flatmate with me. I do like a quite and relaxed place and wish to share it with a nice person. No Alcoholics and druggies, had my share of that already. I am working in the tourism Industry and it would be important to come home and be able and rest after a long day at work. I do like sport, dancing and socialising but I will do that outsite my living space. At home I like to rest and chill. If anybody is a peacefull person, who like and cares for animals, nature and healthy living I would like to hear from you. I do love dogs and would be happy to share with someo e who has a dog, also happy to do free walks...
Hey guys! I'm looking for a new place to live! I'm in Darwin at the moment, and I've been here since the start of the year, but I am looking for a new place with new people and good vibes. I'm an actor / comedian, and I work part time entertaining children in hospital. I enjoy a beer on the weekends, and I love getting out meeting new people. Look, so if you like bad Dad jokes and puns, I'm your guy! haha! I'm clean and always pay all my bills on time, respectful of people's work commitments, privacy and property, and I am pretty easy to get along with and am happy hanging out with people I live with, or having my own space too.
Full time working professional during the week. I enjoy camping, heading to markets, eating good food, a good book/jigsaw puzzle and socialising with good people I'm clean/tidy, easy going and looking for a chilled/fun houseshare!
I will be relocating to Darwin at the end of July/early August for work after living in Perth for the last 5 yrs. I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and will be working in workplace rehabilitation. As a roommate I'm quite, clean and respectful and tend to keep to myself during the week although I do enjoy sitting down and having meals with each other, watching tv and movies. In my free time during the week I try and make sure I get to the gym most days of the week, on the weekends I enjoy getting out and socialising with friends over food and drinks. I love my sport so if you also love sport we will never run out of things to talk about.
Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). I'd like to try a few different suburbs for 2-ish week periods while you may be looking for your perfect flatmate so I could fill in that gap for you too. I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
We've been travelling around Australia for about 18 months now, and are back in Darwin to work for the next two months. We enjoy travelling, all kind of outdoor fun, cooking, fishing, and sharing a good time with the people we live with. We're very easy to live with, clean and tidy. Happy to share all the house chores.
Hello future roomie, I'm a considerate, fun loving nurse ready to make a move to Darwin. I have a small pug named Rae who would be accompanying me (he is house trained). I'm tidy, won't go through your underwear draw when you're not home and fairly easy going.
Hi I’m Millie, 27 yo female from Darwin. Looking for somewhere to move into for a few months (3-6 months) as my current lease is ending and I’m hoping to purchase my own place in a few months time. Preferably looking for an unfurnished room with own bathroom but flexible, especially if the housemates are great! A bit about me - I work Monday to Friday 8-4:30 as a psychologist, then I usually go gym in the arvos. Like to get out and about on the weekends. Very clean and tidy. Love a wine and a chat in the evenings if I’m home. Very social and like to go out but respectful and not one to party at home.
Clean and considerate housemate. Happy to socialise but also happy to entertain myself. Not a smoker. Enjoy a beer after a long day at work sometimes. Not a big partying person. Like to exercise and explore new places. New to Darwin.
I am female from Colombia, i am very calm, I respect people privacy, I don’t drink alcohol or smoke at all, I am going to Darwin to have a new experience, and to find a full time job as an early childhood educator. I like bushwalking.
Hi There! My name is Joel, 29 years, from Amsterdam/Netherlands. Im here in Darwin for 6 weeks already and planning to stay another month or 2. I work two jobs at the moment, one in a bar were i normally have late shifts and one parttime construction job. I like to have a drink in the weekends or after a long day of work but i can also enjoy a chill night with some good food and friends. Although i dont always have the time for it i try to workout 2/3 times a week by jogging or do some other exercises. I respect someone's privacy when needed but i also like a good conversation. If you have any questions please let me know. Cheers, Joel :)
Currently living in Geraldton and looking to move up to Darwin by the end of July. I'll be working full time once I get there because I was lucky enough to get a transfer in my job. I'm a super chill girl and respect others' space, I'm very tidy and don't mind having a casual drink on weekends.
Hi 😊 I’m Loretta, 32, an easy going and friendly teacher. I’m looking for a happy place to live until I sadly leave Darwin at the end of the year. I have been in Darwin for nearly five years and absolutely love the social lifestyle and love being outside exercising, watching the sunset or getting out exploring and camping. During the week I’m pretty quiet and I like my downtime from work. I’m out three nights a week with Netball and on weekends I’m either having a quiet one at home, out spending time with friends or off exploring on a camping trip. I have furniture if required and as I have my own bed would like an unfurnished room if possible 😊 Please get in touch if you have something available!
Hey Y'all, I'm looking for a unit/room until the end of the year (Govt contract) for me and my two (very friendly) cats. Flexible on area/set-up/no of flatmates. Happy to take a 6month lease also. I'm clean and considerate, love music, social but I don't really party. Cheers, Matt
Hi there! My name is Cecilia and I'm heading to the top end for 5 weeks to work full time in law. I'm from Sydney and living in a sharehouse currently. I'm clean and respectful of the common space, but also up for activities and sharing a bottle of wine. I love the outdoors and enjoy rock climbing, running and boardgames. If you have a room and a household that you think would suit, let me know! I'm interested in joining an existing sharehouse or taking a spare room in someone's home.
We like to live with easy going and friendly people, we like to meet travelers but locals can be great too! Doesn’t matter, we are pretty friendly and good cooks ;D we are actually seeking for a job to stay minimum 1month in Darwin and visit all area and do party when we can ! We come from France and travel all around Australia (we travel from Brisbane!) Home to find someone to live with !
Back in Darwin after 1.5 yrs away. Background in hospitality management but looking for full time work in Administration. Working casually in hospitality when i arrive until I secure a full time job. I'm social, love dogs, and am dying to get back up to that beautiful weather. Have references from Darwin. Want to know anything else, just ask.
Hi there, I'm Tess. 33 years old. Work full-time as an Enviro Officer for NTG. I have lived in Darwin for 9 years. I am looking to share a beautiful townhouse in Bayview. The townhouse is fresh, modern and is situated right on the marina. There is a small pool and lovely deck area. The room is air-conditioned and has built in wardrobes. The house is furnished but the room isn't. I’d like to share with someone like-minded as it is nice to have a place that feels homely. The occasional shared drinks/meal or activity. I come with a dog – Billy, and Galah – George. They are both exceptional friendly and well-behaved. They have both lived in share houses for a long time too and know the etiquette! Me, I love the outdoors and the ocean! In my spare time I do a lot of sailing and (when conditions permit) diving. I’m also always keen for camping and any other similar activities. I like to stay busy, fit and healthy. I am quite social and enjoy meeting people and social beers (not a party animal). As a housemate I am clean, respectful and pretty laid back. I enjoy keeping the house nice and cooking. I have references :).
