My name is Alexander, my nickname is Sasha. I'm 25 in May and looking to move down to the Illawarra area from Sydney after a long time travelling. Next year I'm studying Aged Care at Wollongong TAFE and am currently seeking employment, however I am self funded in the mean time. I'm laid back and easy going, I enjoy making & listening to music, reading and writing, animals, movies, socialising, cooking and am looking at places to volunteer in the area. I’m sociable, relaxed, clean in communal areas and love a chat/meal.
I work full-time as a Veterinary Nurse at Illawarra Animal Hospital. I have my 7 year old son with me mon-fri. He’s at school all day and we don’t usually get home until dinner time so you won’t hear much from us. I like to keep my home clean and organised. On the weekends my son is with his dad. I don’t smoke. I have the odd social drink. I like heading to the beach on a hot day or just being outdoors in general. I want to meet new people and make new friends.
I am a UOW graduate, working in retail and potentially continuing my studies. I am neat and tidy, very easygoing and friendly. I enjoy spending time with friends and quiet nights in binge watching Netflix. I am always up for a chat and a glass of wine. Looking to move in somewhere mid-end January.
I am in my final 6 months of a Journalism and Communications and Media degree, writing part time for an online magazine and come with a super friendly, sleepy and loveable black cat. I like reading, binge-watching, baking and me-time, but also love a good chat and chill.
Hey there, I'm looking to team-up with one other person in the Wollongong area or surrounding suburbs to secure a rental which is modern, safe and clean. I work in Wollongong as a casual doing shift work. I'm very tidy, clean, respectful and easy-going.
Hello! My name is Kai, female, 21, and I'm from Canberra. I moved up to Wollongong this year to fulfill my dreams of living near a beach and having a cat (her name is Libby and she's 8 years old and so sweet). I'd like to stick around and keep going to UOW, but I need a new place to live. I did the UAP this year and am starting a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology next year. I have a casual relief job back in Canberra... Yes, seriously. I love working in this little yarn shop called Woolshed@Manuka, enough to pay $50 for a nauseating bus ride every few months, and the manager there is amazing. I love to crochet, I like to knit, and I'll try just about any craft I can get my hands on. Other than craft, I like to spend my time reading, listening to music (with headphones), playing and cuddling with Libby, or playing video games. The noise my current housemate likes the least is simply the tapping of my keyboard, and it's not even one of those loud mechanical ones, so I think I can safely claim to be a quiet housemate. So far I've been the housemate with highest cleaning standards, and I do reflect that in my actions. I'll tidy up after myself and I'm absolutely willing to pitch in and do some dirty work. I'm looking for somewhere that's within walking distance of a grocery store, and one bus or less than 40 minutes away from UOW. I'd love to be close enough to walk to the beach, but I realize having a cat has already limited my search pool, so I'd be willing to sacrifice that for the right house and people. I generally keep to myself, do my own cooking and all, but I'd be happy to live in a more sociable place if we all seem to get along. One last thing that would be super amazing: If you like cats enough to feed, play with, and cuddle Libby if I wanted to go away some weekends, that would be so helpful. She's quite needy in terms of affection and company, so the cuddles are a serious requirement, part of why I don't want to board her unless I need to. (other reason: uni student budget) This seems rather long already, so please contact me if you have any questions =^_^= (PS that's $150 plus bills, I could do up to $170/wk if that's all inclusive based on my current costs)
Friendly, bubbly, 22 year old female, new to the area looking for a room to rent. I am a waitress and barista by trade. I’ve just moved here 4 weeks ago. I am polite, considerate and respectful of others privacy. I have had experience living in share houses and can live well with other people. I am a clean person and have a sick baby nephew I visit daily who has an immune condition which means I need to be careful of the hygiene around me. I have 3 caged de-sexed, clean, friendly, ferrets that are my fur babies. They DO NOT run wild and they are well tamed. Looking around the south of the illawarra I am able to pay max $200 a week
I am a friendly, fun-loving girl moving to Wollongong by the end of Feb 2019 to complete my masters in public health from the University of Wollongong. I am looking for flatmates, preferably female to share a flat or room with close to the university. I have stayed in flat shares before and am easygoing and comfortable to live with. The budget listed is flexible and so is the preferred duration of stay. I will volunteer my fair share of housework and am looking for someone who is willing to do the same. If you looking for the same please contact me.
Hi My name is Toby and I have recently relocated to the area from Sydney. I am looking for share house until I sell my place in Sydney which won't be for at least another 6 months. I work full time hours. I am very easy going, very tidy and extremely respectful of others privacy and belongings. Having rented out rooms in my own home I fully understand the expectations that go along with renting a room in an established home. In my spare time i enjoy gym - about 5 times a week, tennis, movies. I like my own space but always happy for a chat and without livingin each others pockets would like to consider the person(s) i live with friends.
Hiii :) I’m a 29 year old female. I work as an international flight attendant so am only home half of the time. When I am home, I am either in my pj’s binge YouTube’ing, reading, travel planning or out and about socialising, going to yoga etc. I’m interested in either moving into an already existing flat/home share or meeting one or two people and finding a place together. Looking for someone who likes to socialise but also respects that I do shift work. After a place with easy access for constantly taking luggage in and out. I am clean and tidy, quiet when needed and respect others living space. I am wanting to move in January. Any questions please feel free to msg me 😊

My name is Vanessa I am a 34 yo Australian female currently living in Albury New South Wales (NSW) 2640, whom will be moving into the Wollongong region mid January. 2018 has proven to be a challenging year for my family - with both of my sisters spending time in hospital; it is due to these recent events, I felt compelled to make the decision to move back to my home turf and help support my family. I am currently looking for work, I have a background in hospitality, dental, nursing and tourism so plenty of avenues available to me. I plan to continue my studies in environmental science and should only need to attend class 1 day a week as it stands. If it matters am vegan for spiritual reasons, but do not mind at all if people around me are not. I am not religious but I am spiritual, I am fascinated by energy, the planet...I guess this is what drew me to work with the environment and study the particular course I am doing. I used to volunteer with a local Koala Conservation Project not too far from Wollongong and I hope to return if time permits. I love Yoga, Meditation, Reading and Hiking; I often part-take in yoga classes, meditation groups and workshops, spiritual workshops or retreats. I would very much like outdoor adventure activities like hiking/camping to become a bigger part of my life. I have been a member of hiking clubs in the past, a history of dancing although that is all done a dusted with but I find I get that same buzz when I practice yoga. I used to watch sport and be a little more sport oriented when I was younger but that has fizzled out as I have gotten older. I have an 8 yo male burmilla cat named Xander, because of his age he usually spends most his day sleeping inside.
I’m a professional who works in Wollongong but lives on the south coast & returns there on weekends. Looking for somewhere close to the CBD, preferably in nice natural surroundings. Quiet is good, but also happy to share with people who like occasional intelligent conversation and shared meals.
Hi, I'm Emme, I am a proud vegan and lover of nature and animals :) I have two pets; a cat named Frida and a budgie named Bowie. I work in a café in Kiama but am looking to move to the Wollongong area to study. I am a super chill housemate and stay in my room a lot, but I am always friendly and down to meet and hang out with new people! I am also neat and tidy and will always wash up my dishes and clean anything else required :)
I'm a Counsellor who is currently working in Wollongong but living in Macarthur, hence the need to relocate. I like to be social and to have a good laugh. Heading out for coffees or drinks and relaxing outdoors is always a good option. My job is flexible 8am-8pm so I may come and go. I appreciate quiet but I will respect your space also. I'm not into huge parties- I'm getting a little old for the party and clubbing scene but nights out in good company are just as good for me as nights in with movies or Netflix. That being said, wherever I end up, I'd like to have my own friends around at times and I'm cool with house/flat mates who do the same! I'm clean and tidy and don't mind living with females or males, provided you have a great sense of humour and share some similar views. If you’re trustworthy and like living in a civil environment then message me please! I'm looking at a 9 month-12 month share. Thanks a bunch :)
Hi, looking for an easy going house hold. Looking to move overseas eventually, until then I'm working 3 jobs. I have a car I'm happy to park on the street, I have a motorbike I would prefer to park off the street, under cover would even be better. I'm open minded, pet friendly, LGBT friendly, culturally aware. I clean up after myself, enjoy a chat and a cuppa.
Looking for my new home with like minded roomies! I'm currently living alone and would like to move into a share house as soon as possible. I need to give my existing real estate 3 weeks notice but can be flexible with my move in date. A lil about myself - I'm a 23 year old female working currently as a model (I also receive welfare so can guarantee my reliability with rent payments etc), I'm within the queer community and would love to have my gf sleepover on occasion, I'm fairly quiet and enjoy my down time but would love to join a household with people who don't mind having a chat and a cuppa (or something heavier) together every now and again, I'm friendly and easy going, clean and considerate. I'm also a vegetarian but it's totally fine if you're not 😉 I'm into spirituality, psychology, nature and art, fashion and beauty, music, and just enjoying my time here all around. I'm a smoker + 420 active/friendly. I come along with my older indoor cat named Faerie - she's a desexed female, super friendly, house trained and will provide you with all the love!! If I sound like someone you'd vibe with, please feel free to send me a message and let's get something happening ✨
Hello! We are looking for short term (1 - 3 months) accomodation in a share house. I work a few jobs as a casual in hospitality which gives me 30 - 50 hours a week. My partner is a former chef who is currently on the disability pension. He still loves to cook though and has training in doing the dishes. I won't be around very much but he will. He is very charismatic and always up for a chat but does prefer to keep to himself most of the time. He is looking to start work when he is able, which should be in a few weeks. When I'm not at work I'm usually sleeping or spending time with Jay. We want to catch up on some Netflix bingeing and slow down a bit as things have been crazy for us lately. He usually spends his days doing stuff around the house, walking the dog he lives with at the moment and loves gaming. If I have anymore free time I'm reading or painting. We are flexible with furnishings, location and practically everything else. We'd like to move in as soon as possible as we'd like to be semi settled before Christmas.
