I'm moving from Melbourne to Newcastle and looking for a sharehouse to stay for a few months until I find a house to rent. I'm easy going, independent, I do astrology, alternative healing and I'm into healthy lifestyle, organic food, permaculture. I enjoy cooking, long walks on the beach, swimming, music, dance (5Rhythms) and cafes for chai. I don't smoke and rarely drink. I tend to keep to myself a lot but also enjoy a chat and like to keep the house clean and tidy.

Looking for furnished coastal accommodation over the summer possibly longer in NSW. I'd like to be close to the beach where I can enjoy long walks in a quiet and peaceful place with water views, ideally. I'm based in Sydney and own my own home there however I am looking to travel to and fro by car in NSW to just have a weekend or mid week getaway place. I'm a clean, kind, caring and considerate person with a busy life in Sydney that loves the coast and the quiet of a much smaller place. I'm also looking at houseminding.
I'm from New Zealand and I moved here for an engineering apprenticeship. I like reading, watching shows, playing games. I come with some outdoor furniture. I'm always ready to lend a helping hand or give someone a lift. I'm looking for housemates that are friendly and like to have a few drinks together and hang out sometimes. I work shift work, and I'm a very heavy sleeper so I'm not worried about noise.
i work as a barista so already I have your attention. I'm up at 4:30am most morning so I will need to be with people who don't mind me getting up that early. I tend to kept to myself but don't mind a "family" BBQ and a couple of drinks. Just looking for somewhere that makes it feel like home and not like I'm bothering and inconvenience to anyone. I'm clean and I'm a massive push over so I'll be deso for you. Just like to see people happy.
Hi there, Jakes my name. I'm clean, organised and quite. I'm working big hours and 6 day weeks. I'm friendly and won't mind a chat or having joke. Or watching a little Tele I enjoy cooking but don't mind having some nice takeaway 😀 Hope to hear from you Cheers
I'm a 3rd year pharmacy student who also works part time at a pharmacy. Tidy person with complete respect for personal space and belongings. Can make a killer Mojito :)
I am a bit of a free spirit. I enjoy a reasonably healthy lifestyle, vegan, fitness and the outdoors. I also don't mind a good time come the weekend, anywhere with live gigs. To live with I am social but definitely enjoy my solo time (only child syndrome). I am hugely respectful of the living environment and personal space.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm studying my Masters in Social Work and working in mental health with an NGO. My current real estate (Nextview Property) are happy to rent to me again so If I can find one or two others to live with me, we're good! I'm an amazing housemate and have an indoor rabbit named Margot that spends her days getting pats. She is smart, litter trained and more of a cat-dog. I'm very clean, considerate of all my housemates, responsible, active, enjoy a glass of wine, hanging out and gaming. I am open to living pretty much anywhere from Wallsend to Newcastle.
We are ideally looking for a large room with our own bathroom, preferably with a backyard or a large deck. My partner will be studying full time and I will be working full time in the health industry.
Hi My name is Markos. I was born in Greece, grew up in Germany and lived and studied in Switzerland the past 10 years. I'm starting my PhD (History) at UoN in late February and look forward to getting to know Australia. During my 10 years in Switzerland I lived on my own for a year and in shared flats for 9 years (which is not too uncommon for students in Switzerland). I'm pretty accustomed to sharing a place with others, be it students or people working in diverse fields. I respect different ways of living, and like to deal with differences before they turn into those little everyday fights in shared places. I value a tidy, clean and cozy place to live. I do enjoy socializing with flatmates, be it while cooking or just talking while having a beer. I came to like the more urban parts of Newcastle and hope to find some affordable place to share with others. Other things to know: I'm in a long and stable relationship with my fiancée back in Switzerland. I'm a smoker that respects non-smokers.
Moving to Newcastle from Sydney. Spent the past year working and travelling, now looking for a change. I work full time in hospitality. I'm easy going and social, but love a nap and some alone time. Wanting to move in with people who are more than just flatmates that would enjoy hanging out, and are happy for my partner and Sydney friends to visit and stay over :) I don't know the area too well, but i'm keen to live near the beach, or an area with lots happening! I've got some furniture to contribute if needed like a really nice fold out couch! :) Looking to move asap for the right place! Feel free to message me
Hi there, moving to Newcastle from Melbourne to study criminology at UON. Worked in human services, community mental health care, government (boring!) and all manner of things in a fluctuating career trajectory. I have lived in Japan, Vietnam and have friends all over Aust and the world as a result. Widely travelled throughout Asia and enjoy the usual things, mainly social beers, bands, hanging out etc. Really looking forward to discovering a new city, new people, new job, perhaps new world-view? Open to all and sundry experiences, I've lived in shared housing my whole life, pretty much. I'd like to think I understand the dynamics!

Hi there! I'm Josh, I moved to this wonderful town of Newcastle from Adelaide almost a year ago now, and currently work in architecture. I'm pretty relaxed. I enjoy leisurely bike rides, reading, art, breakfast, exploring new places, and low-key probably be happy living in a van if that's an option. I have loved living by myself for a year, but cant wait to meet some new people. :)
G'Day! I am a 23 year old student currently in my final semester of Design in Melbourne and I am planning to chase the warmth and head up to Newcastle more or less straight after I finish (around the beginning of July). I love the beach, skating, surfing, exercise and the odd frosty on a hot day. I am a pretty easy going guy, clean, sociable but also enjoy time to myself to unwind and relax.
Guten Morgen Welt (yea that´s German), So here I am, 24 years old, sitting in the hostel in Newcastle, planning my life in Newcastle. Even though I know life can´t be planned. Some facts about me could help you: - grew up on a farm south of Berlin (with horses and everything) - moved into a shared flat when I was 15 because of schooling (so I am pretty used to living with others) - lived in Botswana (southern Africa) for a year to work with disabled children - started to study in Potsdam (town next to Berlin) to become a teacher for primary level - still studying in Potsdam for my Masters degree;-) (puhhh, it takes forever) - living in Berlin in different shared flats over the years - travelled around the world every time I could (Botswana, South Africa, West of USA, Philippines, Nepal and a bit Europe) I would consider myself open minded and tolerant, desperate to see the world and have adventures. Coffee, beer and Döner Lover ;-) Diver and totally excited about it. The perfect day for me: waking up after a great night out, having an unplanned but still perfect breakfast with friends, which is more a brunch because it takes so long. Nobody has planes for the day, so we just hang out and chat all day. We got the time and energy to be totally spontaneous (it´s more a feeling than an actual day I´m describing). Looking forward hearing from you (ok, to be honest, totally excited and nervous;-) ) Yours, Tabea
Hi there! I'm Andrew. I'm in my final year of uni, studying to be a lawyer. This year I'll be working two days a week and studying. Looking to move into an apartment close to, or in, the Newcastle CBD, so that I can walk to work and uni. I'm a tidy person with respect for other people's space. I'm looking to meet two other like-minded people (i.e. students, young professionals etc) to team-up and find a place, and hopefully be flatmates I can be friends with! I will need a place to park a car.
I'm a mean cook (you like risotto? we're gonna be friends), a clean hooman, avid reader and a happy housemate. Started working in a coffee shop here in Newy East, so closer the better. Probably spend my time between the beach and work and binging the back catalogue of Netflix's documentary section. Look forward to meeting, future flatties. Here on a WHV, so flexibility with the stay length. Thank you!
Greetings! Looking to relocate from east Maitland back into Newcastle to be closer to family, friends and for work. Currently working @Uon in engineering and would like to base myself somewhere that's in and around the honeysuckle precinct but really quiet open to all options. I'm thinking something new, with a view and has unique aspects would be my preference and ideally would like to join with 1 or 2 others to find something special to create a wonderful living environment in a gem of a location. About me - Fairly quiet and private person yet kind open minded and considerate. Interests include: mountainbike riding, swimming, Netflix/sbs/abc, history/culture docos, comedies, good/food wine and watching nrl games. Quiet, respectful, neat and tidy, and overall an asset to any place. Any questions?feel free to ask. Open to and interested in most possible living arrangements but hoping to meet some amazing people and join an amazing household

Hi all, My name is Lara. I'm 19 and looking to move out. I work two hospitality jobs (one does include free pizza) so I won't be home much. I'm an active person but do enjoy a few drinks and being social. And I do also have a kitten but it may be able to stay here.
great cook, handy-electrician, I have two children which visit every second weekend. I enjoy surfing, motor bikes, etc. I used to be a chef and barman so thats where the cook comes from. I have also renovated a house which is where the handy comes from along with the fact that i am a licenced electrician. Additional storage would be handy as i have quite alot of tools etc but not essential.
Hi! My name is Emily, I've just moved to Newcastle from Brisbane for a new job. I'll be working full time, I'm casual but organised, can't say no to chocolate, enjoy the beach, having a cocktail or wine and going to the gym. Hoping to make friends with my new housemates who don't mind venturing to the beach, out for dinner or hanging out at home.
I'm a pretty chilled guy, tidy and clean. Looking to move out of home, doesn't particularly matter where. I feel like I'm fairly fun, and would be easy to live with. Not fussed on when either, but sooner rather than later.
I have a dog, he is very friendly and loves everyone. I'm currently working as a barista. I'm easy going and not really one for drama. In the summer I live at the beach and enjoy a occasional night out
Hi, we are Maria & Kasey. We are a happily married couple and moved to the area couple of years ago from rural NSW. We are looking for a place to share to help save money for our future.
