Hey everyone! We're a couple who have just moved to melbourne and are on the lookout for the best housemates on offer! We're a pretty social couple who'd love to have a couple of bevs every now and then. Although we are pretty social, we also like our quiet time for study and binge watching netflix.
Hi there! My name is Clarissa and I'm 21 years old looking to move out from my current place to save money! I'm hoping to move end of Feb or start of March, so if your place is available for then please let me know! I'm looking for an unfurnished room which can fit a double bed and desk. I am currently working full time at a Finance firm in East Melbourne and studying Accounting part time. I can be quite the workaholic so most nights I get home late or I'll be at uni. So I would preferably like to live near public transport, I do have a car but not high priority to take with me if there's no parking. I am easy-going, friendly, quiet, tidy and reliable. I am more than happy to socialize and help around the house but also happy to keep to myself. I'm no party animal but loves a good chat or hangout. Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats and dogs so unless they're a hypoallergenic breed, I can't live with pets :( I go mountain biking on weekends and love yoga, Netflix, baking and can be easily pursuaded to order a cheeky Ubereats or Foodora. Although I'm looking for a home, I'm also hoping to make some lasting friendships! Feel free to message me for more information! :)
Hi I'm Hannah and I'm currently studying both a Bachelor of Science at RMIT and Veterinary Nursing. Moving out of my current place because it's too expensive and looking for something a bit closer to Camberwell where I am work placement. I am looking for my own room in either a little granny flat or a share house with some similarly aged people that is close to public transport so I can get into the city easily for uni! I am super friendly, love to socialise but at the same time respect other people's privacy. I always clean up after myself and have been living in a sharehouse for the last two years so I know the drill! Message me if you think you might have somewhere I might like :) Hannah
Moving from my hometown of Perth to Melbourne in pursuit of a more exciting life in a bigger city! I'm an avid musician, writer, and world-traveller studying literature, and I'm definitely interested in team-ups with other creative types, starving artists, and students in general. The more of us there are, the easier it'll be for us to afford a place fit for throwing parties and hosting couchsurfers! ;) Move in date and preferred length of stay are definitely flexible, and so are my preferred suburbs; although I would rather live somewhere a little more vibrant and central, I'm totally willing to compromise for the right roommates and housing situation. My goal here is to give myself and other students/artists an opportunity for affordable accommodation (anywhere from $100 to $200 a week per-head, preferably on the lower end of the spectrum, even if it means sharing rooms), and to create an environment comprised of diverse, interesting, and like-minded people and good vibes! But I certainly can't do it alone, and don't know anyone in the city -- so if you're interested in putting together the grooviest communal house in Melbourne, please let me know! All races and genders are welcome. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after my self and happy to help keep the house clean. I am due to move out of my current house on the 27th jan ( flexible on this date ) Any question, ask away Thanks Jason =
Full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Easy going, originally from central Victoria. Am into good films and books, cooking, music. I receive Centrelink youth allowance payments which cover my rent. I'm looking for a relaxed house with people interested in what they do/study.
FLEXIBLE MOVE DATE. Quiet but sociable, intelligent, arty, stylish, friendly, romantic, gay. Able to move any time if you are offering ideal quiet room. I work full-time in education and love walking to work in Parkville as often as possible. Looking for a LARGE ROOM (I have many books and tasteful possessions) in a peaceful, warm, aesthetically-pleasing abode. Preferably aircon in house. Very easygoing, mature, financially sound and conscientious. Bit of a health maven and very tidy in the kitchen/bathroom/shared areas. Terrific sense of humour. Interested in natural history, botanical art (hobby), literature, gorgeous food, green adventures, film festivals and classical and world music. Very gentle, considerate and sweet. I have happily resided in a beautiful sharehouse in Moonee Ponds (replete with a smooth-running cleaning roster) for the past ten years. Sadly have to move for landlord's revamp of the property. I prefer text to call (or check if good time to call) but open to a call before 10pm if you are offering something ideal and not on a busy street
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I’m Sinead, a recent university graduate currently working four days a week in the city. After living in Clayton for a few years while I completed my honours thesis, I’m looking to move to the western or northern suburbs to be closer to friends and family. I’m hoping to find a relaxed household with people I can chat with, but also have some time to myself. I love getting out in the garden, so I’m hoping to find a place with a yard, or at least space for a few pot plants. Definitely not a party person, my idea of a good weekend is enjoying some board games or movies with a handful of friends. While I have a car, I prefer not to drive to work, so I’m looking for a place with good access to public transport. I pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. Ideally I’m looking to move around early February, but would be able to move sooner for the right place.
I am easygoing and considerate, and also hardworking. I enjoy watching TV shows and generally relaxing in my spare time. I also enjoy getting coffees and brunch on the weekend. I think I would be pretty easy to live with and get along with!
Hey there! My name is Lulu (20) and im going to be studying full time this year at RMIT (communication design). Im super easy going, reliable and considerate when it comes to share housing. Hi I am moving to Melbourne from Berlin in February. I am gonna be studying Economics at the University of Melbourne. I am looking for a room or shared house for rent. About me: I like languages, sports, clubs and of course nice people. I am a tidy and cheerful person, looking forward to living in Melbourne :) Parallel to my studies (Business B.Sc., Economics M.Sc) I´ve been working in marketing in the past 3 years (both offline retail and online) and I intend to continue my career on this field, I really love what I do. I also model sometimes, but it´s not where my primary focus is. I am a very friendly person, I gladly take my share in house chores (shopping for groceries is something I even take pleasure in), happy to have meals or some drinks together, especially if there is a movie or a board game to it :) I make friends really easily but I am also very independent and leave people their space. I don´t have pets but I love animals, so if you have one that´s great. I am not gonna spend too much time at home though, I am coming to Australia to explore its beauty, rather than sitting around. But if you have friends over to play cards, or drink something I am always happy to join! :P Cheers, Norbi
I'm moving from Brisbane to Melbourne for my undergraduate degree and I'm tidy and clean and am looking for flatmates and a room near the Monash Parkville area or other surrounding suburbs. I am friendly and hardworking and will be focusing on studying. This is my first year living out of my home so I am a bit nervous but I am very excited and enthusiastic to move to Melbourne.
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne on the 12th of February to do my masters in management at la trobe university city campus! i've travelled a lot, so i understand different cultures and their way of living. So I’m super comfortable with all walks of life. I am very friendly, adjustable, clean, crisp, tidy, responsible and would be thrilled to learn about different cultures and their values. Tbh, I Prefer going out than to the uni! So the priority is not all about studies. Although, Private time while private time, study while study and at leisure i’d love to go out for a beer and just cannot say no to some some sick parties on the weekends with the fam! Looking forward to learn surfing so a House near the beach would be perfect. Other than that fifa, NAPS, sporadic gym goer, traveling, cooking, Netflix and sip on some good wine is what I do to kill time. To be more precise I’m up for anything, you just gotta name it, well let's game it! Traveling around during holidays? Yes please! If you’re interested I suggest you leave a message. Cheers 🍻
My names Josh, I’m 22 and have recently relocated from up in Townsville to Melbourne to commence study, I am very clean and tidy and very easy to get along with. I would like to find some room mates roughly my age, seeing as though I am new to the area and do not know many people. I am very respectful of other people’s space and privacy, although I do love a chat. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call if you think I’m the right guy to move into a spare room in your place.
Just down to earth Tassie chicks seeking a chilled space to live, that is close to the University of Melbourne and other funky suburbs. We are all full time uni students, about to begin our second year. The three of us are always keen to explore this buzzing metropolis and all it has to offer. We like to think of ourselves as fairly arty farty, outdoorsy and open minded peeps, accepting of all walks of life. Love a laugh and party but also very conscientious with our studies, eager to work hard and achieve good results at uni.

Hello Everyone! So a little about me is I am traveling to Australia as a Working Holiday and coming from America. I have lived all over America from LA to NY to Seattle and now want to switch it up! As a roommate I get a lot of praise for always doing the dishes, all the food I put in a fridge is yours for the taking, and I always have spare quarters for laundry (I don't know if that's an awesome trait to have in Australia but in America it's basically being the backbone to everyone's laundry schedule). I am pretty darn easy going, love listening to music 24/7, I will mostly likely be working all the time and not there much, but consistently down to have a pint and chat about stuff always!
Hi there! I am excitedly looking to move out of home for the first time. I am a student at ACU (Fitzroy) while working a part time job (Maribyrnong). I am active so I like to attend the gym and sporting commitments throughout the week. It would be great to make friends or socialise with my house mates in and/or out of the house, even host a party or gathering or two if the house mates are keen! However, as most people do, I like to have my own space at times and will respect your own space. I am looking for a home that is reasonably cheap and that is short walking distance to get to public transport and basic shops for example, grocery/supermarket. I am helpful and friendly, so I believe it is important that myself and my housemates contribute equally to cleaning and helping around the house :)
I'm an exchange student coming from Canada looking for preferably 1 or 2 other people to live with! I'm quiet but fun, like some alone time but also am friendly and like to go try new things. I'll definitely be keen to explore Melbourne, and I love coffee, being outdoors, music, art, dogs, and so much more. Contact me for more information!
Hi! We're three social work students from Sweden! We're going to do our internship in Melbourne, which we're pretty excited about! We're three easy-going individuals, that likes to be outdoors, and we're very excited to explore the city. We like to cook, hike, have a chill night in, but can also enjoy a drink or two! We have experiences of living by our selfs, but also together with others, so we are used to both. Some things we think are important and value a lot when sharing a household, and in general too, is communication, tidiness and respectfulness. The ideal would be to find a place with three vacant rooms, but we would be happy to share two vacant rooms or one (if it's big enough for three). Don't hesitate to contact us if you want to know more.
