I'm 22, currently working down at Glenelg. Im bubbly, respectful of others property, love watching movies and TV shows. I also love going out for a few drinks every now and then :) I'm planning on moving overseas next year so looking to live at the house for 6months, possibly a little bit longer. I have a bunny rabbit so he will have to be welcomed. He loves outside and live head scratches. I'm looking to live along the tram line anywhere or within a 10minute walk to the tram line as I don't drive :) I have a bit of my own furniture (fridge, small dining table, room furniture, outside entertainment table, washing machine, coffee tables, and a few more bits and pieces), but for the right place I might sell a few pieces considering I'll be moving overseas next year :)
I've lived in the country all my life and I'm really enjoying exploring Adelaide and all it has to offer. I love cafes, eating out, watching the odd bit of bad reality tv, music and art. I have two jobs. I work morning shift (6am - 2pm most weekdays) in a manufacturing role and I also work as a Retail Assistant a couple days a week. I am a very easy going person. I like to have a friendly chat and maybe a coffee with my housemate but am equally happy to keep to myself if that is appropriate. I like things to be clear and transparent around expectations/ chores in the house - so everyone knows what they have to do. I would consider myself to be friendly, generous, very reliable, trustworthy and respectful of other people's space. I am ready to move now and keen to find a new home asap. Let me know if you think we are a match. Cheers, Billy
We have been best friends for over ten years and are perfect housemates to live with. Very clean, great cooks, fun to be around and always up for games, movies and drinks. We have both studied and are now working full time around the city. We are heading to Europe for a few months and are looking to sort our living arrangements for when we return in mid-late October. We have plenty of furniture to fill an empty house, and would be happy either just in a two bedroom home by ourselves or teaming up with others to get a bigger place. Ideally somewhere near the train/tram line is handy, and hoping to live with other respectable, neat and social people too.
Quite working guy looking for a furnished room. * Quite room especially at night; * Closed to public transport & supermarket will be nice; * Parking space is a plus;
I am looking for a furnished room in a share house or larger apartment, rent should be max . 150 $ . including all bills (internet included). If any possibility I prefer no bond option but if it is needed, it should be no more than 2 weeks rent. Prefer to live in an all female flat, but am open to a mix gender place as long as we have common living expectations. So about me: I am 30 years old, international student from Europe. Have been in Adelaide for a year now, I am studying commercial cookery and work part time in a restaurant as a cook. I don`t smoke and not a party person but am very social and talkative, have a good sense of humor so you won`t be bored around me. I do like my private time as well so also keep things quiet around the house. I am tidy and take care of things that don`t belong to me so the place will for sure stay in the same condition once I leave ;) . I like to cook but always clean up after myself so the kitchen is spotless once I am done using it. Paying rent is always my priority and you will never have to worry about that with me. I am reliable and easy to get along with, also very considerate to others and respect other peoples privacy. Other than that, I love animals (don`t have any but don`t mind them being around the house - it is a bonus actually ), love going to the beach and enjoy swimming in this gorgeous ocean, like to watch movies and reading. I am also very interested in healthy cooking and keeping fit (I go to the gym as well and take long walks). I would really like to find a place that is somewhat close to the beach, Camden Park, North Plympton, Glenelg etc. would suit me most. I really hope there is also a nice outside area in the garden where I could have my morning coffee ;). If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me and I will reply shortly. Cheers, Katarina

I like to socialise, go on hikes and enjoy a casual catch up with a drink or two.. looking forward to making new friends and sharing a place with good vibes.
Hi ! I am an international student, currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Adelaide. Of Indian descent, I grew up in Qatar from the age of 5 (I still reside there with my family) and would probably call it my home. I am looking to move into a new place sometime by the end of July. Please dont hesitate to contact me if interested in having me as your housemate. Note that I am looking for a place to stay in certain suburbs I mentioned specifically on my profile. Or in generic terms, either towards the west or towards the south of the city. That would be my first preference. I am responsible, tidy, able to seamlessly and quietly adapt to any rules/requirements in the environment. Usually I would be out at the Uni for the majority of the day subject to workloads. Weekends I tend to stay indoors although occasionally I would do a bit of exploring the city. I enjoy meeting new people, getting to know them better and hanging out with them almost anywhere: be it at a restaurant or hiking. If you would rather yearn for some quiet time, a bit more privacy at home, or in essence if you need a quieter flat mate, I would gladly oblige to be so. I have lived out of home for the last 5 years, so I am well experienced in living in a professional manner. If left to myself, while assuming studies dont eat up my time, I would probably be reading up on military aviation, watching classical movies from the 40's to 90's (an addict at that), following cricket, Federer (he is tennis for me :P), playing COD and Falcon 4.0, reading a bit of history or listening to some of the best, western classical music has to offer. Looking forward to great times together !
Hey I'm Tim :) I'm Friendly, social (but do my own thing), clean and tidy, 27 year old male. I study part time (youth work) and work part time. My ideal house is with one or two others that are also busy, and easy going yet clean. I have a border collie x kelpie who is staying with family at the moment. If he is permitted he is a friendly dog who gets along with other dogs, kids and all people, and an outside dog except for really cold winter nights when he will sleep in my room. Open to anywhere in Adelaide that accepts dogs. I have bond ready to go and my lease is up 11th of June so would like somewhere asap. Thanks ☺
quiet and respectful. researcher at university. 27 yr old male.
Hi, future housemate! I am looking for a house to move into. It is exciting times for me as I'm moving into the next chapter of my life. I am studying at the University of Adelaide and I also work part time. I am hoping to find a great house/housemate to add to my exciting new changes. I am 20 years old and I have lived in 2 different countries so I know a thing or two about how to get along with diverse people and I am extremely open minded. I love to watch movies and I enjoy having dinner with my housemate but I also enjoy my own relaxing time. If you think you have the perfect house for me, don't hesitate to send me a message.
Hey everyone! Let's start with the buzzwords: open minded, relaxed, positive, healthy, fit, social, non-smoker, respectful, active. Lots of interests: food (it's my job), cycling, road-trips, camping, fishing, photography, music, movies, reading (I'm a news junkie), technology and much more. I have plenty of experience with sharing accomodation, both agencies and privates, and multiple enthusiastic references are available. When I'm home, if I'm not doing some work-related email catching-up, I'm very open to socialising during dinner or a glass of wine if that's the type of house, otherwise I respect other peoples' spaces :) My budget for the perfect place is $150-$170 bills included. If there are more people, or bills are excluded, etc that would be reflected in the rent I'm prepared to pay. I have used this website recently and it was a success, hoping to replicate! Now my current housemate just landed a dream job in Brisbane and is leaving by end of July. I don't want to take over the lease so I'm considering other share-houses. Details aside, just feel free to contact me and we'll see how we go from there. Cheers! Some random facts: - I have saved thousands of marine turtles in Mexico. - I'm Italian but I don't like soccer. - I do cook amazing food, I'd love a foodies' house! - Apart from Italian and English, I speak fluent Spanish and it would be great to live with someone who can help me practice my French :) - Eventually in a few years time I want to quit everything, buy a sailing boat and go places.
Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm searching for a room for my cat Mouse and I. I'm looking for a sharehouse with a friendly communal vibe - I don't want to live with people I never talk to so let's be friends. I'm also looking for housemates who are considerate and tidy. I'm very clean, love cooking, and going to the gym (Goodlife members: let's work out together). Ideally, I'd like a decent sized room with floorboards (because asthma) and plenty of light, a backyard for my cat to chill out in (supervised of course), and that's pretty much it. Vegan housemates would be a bonus. Chuck me a message if you have somewhere you think I'd like. Thanks! (:
I'm a teacher from China. I like swimming, reading and chatting with people from different cultures. I'm neither a smoker not an alcoholic. My wife and son will go with me. They are also very nice people.
Hi! I'm Amy, a 19 year old Advanced Bachelor of Arts student, majoring in History and Sociology at Flinders University. I am very creative, active, and sociable. I've been training as an actor for the last 10 years, and intend to study an intensive acting degree after completing my Bachelors. I am a very considerate roommate, have great cooking and cleaning skills, and am very easy-going.
Hi There! I'm looking for a housemate (preferably long term) to team up and share a property. I would like to find a place in the Daw Park/Melrose Park area or neighbouring suburbs (I have a long list of suburbs; south, south west and south east of the city I'd be willing to live in), modern-ish, with 2 bathrooms, air con, low maintenance, preferably a dishwasher, preferably 2 living areas (or a spare bedroom). A house, or a town house, somewhere with at least a little space and privacy. Pet friendly because I have a cat. I would like to find somewhere asap, but am flexible with my time frame. I'm thinking somewhere around $400 to $530 ish (total). I've seen some nice places that fit all this coming up around ascot park, edwardstown, millswood, plympton type suburbs recently. I am late 30s. Pretty laid back. Quiet, honest, fair, nice, friendly, think i'm pretty funny - pretty sure I am, sociable but don't go out much anymore, don't like confrontation, don't like bossy people, don't like self-centred people. I work full time and I work hard so I can be quite lazy in my free time and spend a lot of it sleeping in and watching tv and movies, if not brunching with friends, so I don't want to share with you if you have a tendancy to be judgey. I'm very close to my family. I like things pretty clean and tidy and would like someone who will be on my same wave length and help me clean the place when we've decided it needs cleaning (or maybe we could splash out on a cleaner!). I don't expect you to be cheery all the time..... I'm not. I like going out for brunch and meals in general. I'm good at basic cooking. I like the outdoors. I like movies. I don't like excerise but I wish I did. I like road trips. I like music festivals (but the grown up kind). I don't garden, but I do like gardens, especially herbs. I love food and coffee and tend to go through phases of no will power when it comes to food, so again no judgement please. Looove music, but only the good music that I like. Sooo, I've been living by myself for the last however many years and so have all the required furniture, but you might too, so a place with a garage would be good so we can store the extra things we have. This, and my love of tv is why I'd like a place with a second living area or spare bedroom so we could both have our own space to do what we want without being stuck in our bedrooms. Although if you'd like to join me in whatever i'm watching, that would be nice. We don't have to become friends, but that would also be nice.... I would prefer a female, just because I can be pretty shy around strangers. If you're a guy and you think our personalities will work, I'd still be happy to meet with you. I take a little while to warm up and come out of my shell and be myself and then you'll probably wish I'd get back in my shell ;) I know I said I wouldn't judge........ but........ *not a smoker *Vego and vegan fine so long as you respect my love of meat. *need to be reliable about money. i.e. splitting and paying bills. If you agree with at least most of what I've said please contact me and we can arrange to meet. Cheers Margo :)
Hello, my name’s Erin. I’m a single, non-smoking, 26-year-old working full time in HR. Currently living alone in North Adelaide but my lease is ending in December and financially living alone is taking it’s toll so back to sharing I go at the end of the year. I’m a friendly and very clean housemate who is very considerate and respectful of others space. I would describe myself as a homebody who doesn’t really go out all that much but I do like a drink (hello Wino Wednesday’s watching The Bachelor). I spend most weekends either catching up with my fam when I can (have three gorgeous nieces), hanging out with friends, heading to gigs or binge-Netflixing. Not much of a cook unfortunately (packet pasta is life) but cleaning is where my strengths lie. I do have my own bedroom furniture and other bits and pieces (small couch, lounge chair, coffee table, bookshelf etc.) but happy to consider selling/putting in storage however would really prefer an unfurnished bedroom at least. I realise I’ve started my search quite early but I like to see what’s out there – plus I’m getting keen to move since I currently have no oven, no heating, no TV reception and a hot water service that lasts 5 minutes while paying through the teeth! Oh being an adult is such fun. This experience however has taught me to be super power conscious which I think is a positive and I am a house proud person so looking for someone likeminded. Ps. I have a dry sense of humour, a hideous laugh, sing in the shower and sometimes yell at the TV while watching Family Feud – these are definitely things to consider as a potential housemate haha. Anywho, that’s enough about me. Ask me any questions, or let me know about your place if you think I’d make a good fit. Looking for a place to call home and hopefully make a new friend :)
25-year-old engineer currently working full time. Laid back and clean, looking for somewhere to live close to the city. Hobbies: Hiking, guitar, live music, running - long distance
Hi I'm Tobi from Stuttgart, Germany. I'm Currently studying International Business undergraduate. I'm an easy going, tidy, helpful person and hope to find a place with flatmates that share these characteristics. Ideally they also like to hang out together from time to time. I don't mind pets, smokers or some house duties. What I'm looking for here: - Furnished room - Unlimited internet - All bills included - Near public transport - Well sized room - Min. 3 bedrooms house - Ideally with Smart TV in the room If you have questions, hit me up. My name is Maighan, I'm 20 and studying International Development at Adelaide Uni, as well as commencing an internship with SA Parliament (how do I adult??) I enjoy going to markets, hanging out, exploring adelaide, taking videos and photos, being creative, meditating and brunching. I'm from Tassie so I go home when I can to catch up with friends and family, but I've also got a really stable and fab group of friends in Adelaide. I want a social share house, somewhere with 0 drama and supportive and friendly people. Feeling safe and accepted is really important to me and it's my main requirement for a share house. If you're looking for someone to share cups of tea with (I have a crazy collection of T2) and who is regularly down to go for a walk, get coffee or a beer then I am ya gal! I'm generally clean and my floordrobe always stays within the premises of my room ;) Excited to hear from you :)
Myself an Indian national with an Australian PR. I am into the Facilities Management industry and work as an Operations Manager. Will relocate soon to Australia.
I am a full time student and spend most of my time studying, volunteering, or resting. I'm a respectful and friendly introvert; I will happily help around the house and chat over some food, but also respect and appreciate personal space. I'm comfortable living with either pets or no pets, and generally pretty easy going.
