I am a recently retired professional athlete from Canada advancing my geology career now. I was living in Europe the last 2 years and am now relocating to Australia! I like to hike, travel, and try anything new. If you think we would be a good fit feel free to message me!
Accommodation found. Thank you. I'm a public servant and I've been spending my weekends checking out Canberra's music and art scene. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. Some good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly spring weather has been a surprise! I will happily have a preemptive chat with you about heating and elect bills in case I'm around long enough to need it next year. What else: my lovely cat is George. He's my little house panther. He's pretty cool. Cheers, Rose
Hi, moving to Canberra from the country for a lifestyle change. Professionally i am in the Electrical and Instrumentation trades, and have secured a job in Canberra, but just need a place to hang my hat to learn the city, trial the job and if all goes well, move up with my family. Outside of work, i am an avid musician and play in a working band (Based out of Cooma with gigs in Canberra and other country areas), playing guitar and piano. My real passion lies here, and another huge part of why id like to be closer or in a city! I am pretty easy to get along with, i am quiet, conscientious and clean up after myself - no problems helping out around the place if need be. Most of the time outside of work hours, if i am not studying or practicing (unplugged) music, i will be out exploring the city, or heading back home for the weekend
I've moved here from Melbourne as an ICT grad. I am looking forward to move into a rental with two others, preferably Inner-north or Inner-south CBR. I've previously lived in share-houses, so you can expect me to be respectful, clean and tidy. I keep to myself most of the time, though I don't mind spending a time together or having a chat. I have a lean edge when it comes to road trips and adventures though. You'll find me mostly quite but I promise I'm friendly, and I enjoy meeting new people. I do respect for people's privacy and opinions, and I'm not against any of the LGBT+ traditions. Message me, if you think I sound like a potential housemate. Cheers! :)
Hello! I just moved here to start working for the government as an environmental scientist. I've been in the industry for 3 years now. I enjoy reading in my spare time after work, and heading to the beach for a surf or into the mountains for hiking most weekends. I'm a quiet and clean housemate.
Hey, I'm Tyson I'm 30 years old a work in the landscaping industry. I work every second Saturday and return home every second weekend to the central coast. I'm polite and always clean up after myself. I hate a dual cab work ute. Would prefer all bills inclusive including internet but something can always be arranged.
Looking for a place to stay whilst I settle into Canberra. I'm a very easy-going, social person who loves playing sport and having a good time but knows how to crack down on studies when required. I am also very respectful of other people's personal space and capable of lifting my weight in regards to housekeeping. I am looking for roommates who are clean, respectful and friendly. If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to send me a message :)) Regards, Jude.
Professional, respectful, clean & relaxed. Tend to be out and about, or keeping to myself but always enjoy good conversation. Moving to Canberra for the first time - minimum stay required is three months. Have the setup required for a full-house if required (minus a washing machine). I’ve been living idependatly for 7 years. Pretty driven, but very considerate and private. Avid (all be it slow) reader, enjoy camping, surfing, diving (etc). May die in the cold, but have invested heavily in warm clothing. I’m currently a full-time professional (manager) in the finance industry and have been offered a pretty exciting career change (hence the move). Please feel free to ask any additional questions.

I’m a single lass currently living in Brisbane and moving to Canberra in February for a grad job. I’m a pretty chill person who likes to keep their surroundings tidy. Bonus points if you have pets since I’ll be leaving my little dog at home and need an animal to give a lots of love 😊
I am a late 20s full time professional working with Accenture ANZ. I am originally from the country and love to share a few Bevs on weekends and watch the footy. my spare time usually includes Cycling, Boxing, Gym, Tinkering with my car or computer and drinking some hipster beers. I will admit I am a mostly serious person nor a party loving person but I am reliable for just about anything that needs doing (like finding out why the net is out again). please Send me a hello!
I'm moving to Canberra from North Queensland for an Engineering graduate position starting in March. I'm a very easygoing and quiet person who doesn't like to make a fuss. I have experienced living with flatmates for the past 2 years and lived on college for 3 years prior. I'm very clean and like to spend my downtime watching videos and playing games, however I'm always up for doing something and having a chat. I prefer to cook my own meals but up for the occasional communal dinner (I'm good at making lots of pasta). I've never been to Canberra before so I'm definitely interested in exploring what Canberra has to offer with company always welcome.
I like to keep to myself but also have no problem getting along with people. I'm doing full time study at the moment but money won't be an issue as I'm being paid by the military,(medically discharged). I like to game online and watch movies and tv shows. Looking for a place where people are layed back but can clean up after themselves aswell.
Hello! I am a Canberra lad who has spent a few years in Melbourne and Sydney, and I'm looking to return to ACT. I work in IT as a developer, I like to cook, play classical guitar and spend time in nature. I have lived all over the world with all kinds of people and I think I'm very easy going and considerate housemate! Too old for parties (fine dining though? I love it). I miss Canberra! Especially the food and wine and lakes and the people... I can't wait to get back!
Hi my name is Alex! I am 24 years old, from Sydney, and have lived in Canberra for 2 years. I previously lived in Dublin for three years. I work four days a week as an administrator at ANU, and am doing a full time PhD at the ANU School of Public Policy. My housemate and his girlfriend are moving away in early March so I am looking for somewhere new! I have lived in three share houses in the past and have always had a great time. I love cats and dogs and am a clean and relaxed housemate. Social or quiet housemates would be ideal for me! On weekends I like to trip around NSW (and know all the best places to go :P) or have to study at the National Archives.
Hi, my name is Ngaihung and i am looking for a share house in Canberra. I am working part time in construction. I am looking for a quiet, clean, respectful and friendly place. I always pay rent on time and always take pride in keeping my room tidy.

Hi I'm working in Fyshwick and I'm looking for a place close by so I can cycle to and from work. Interested in a long term stay. I'm easygoing, friendly, responsible, tidy, respect the space and privacy of others, and look after common areas. I enjoy the occasional house dinner and a glass of wine. I enjoy cooking when I get a chance. I'm a non-smoker with no pets, however, I enjoy the pets of others. Looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Ann
Hi there, My lovely current home has been sold, so I'm looking for somewhere new to move around early January. Happy to start a new house (I have furniture) or move in somewhere else. I moved from WA a couple of years ago. I'm a public servant, and also studying so am fairly busy. I love hiking, diving, camping, holidays in Indonesia and swimming. Some nice to haves: a little bit of storage space for some camping stuff, space for pots for a small herb garden, parking (street or off-street), and close to nice walking areas (the lake or bushland). Thanks :)
From 17-18 February 2019 or thereabouts - Seeking shorter-term, quiet, safe, secure, furnished, share accommodation (not homestay) with other professionals for busy female interstate contractor working in Civic. Mature, independent, clean, reliable, non-smoker and have shared previously. Prefer ensuite or sole-use bathroom but will share facilities with one other. Off-street car parking required – garage preferred. No parties, students, children or unemployed. Note: All Canberra areas considered that are an easy commute to Civic - not limited to 'Braddon' but had to select an option!
I'm an environmental scientist working full-time in the APS. I mostly use my bicycle to commute but have an awesome little van for odd jobs, camping and IKEA visits. I enjoy outdoorsy things like hiking, camping, snorkelling/diving and gardening. I also have a bunch of creative hobbies like drawing, sewing, cooking vego food and playing ukulele. Looking for a room in an established sharehouse with off-street parking, or would love to find someone to teamup and help make a peaceful home and hang out occasionally. Ideally looking for somewhere with a garden or big balcony for my veggies! The usual clean, tidy, respectful, etc.
Hey! I'm a 26 year old APS grad who has just shifted from Melbourne and I'm looking for a place in inner Canberra. I've been in a sharehouse in Melbourne for the last four years and enjoy sharing a chat, meal or cheeky drink with other housemates. That said, I'm also pretty clean and respectful of others' space.
Relaxed, friendly and easy going. I work full time in the Public Service. Originally from QLD so winter is a trying period to say the least haha. Love a cheeky beer here and there and always up to try anything.
Own my own business, working more than 70 hours a week. When i'm not working i'm on the bike traveling. Just looking for a room and probably will not use much else as I'm at work open to close.
I'm friendly, tidy and easy going. I moved here from W.A a few months ago and Canberra has really surprised me and grown on me! I have lived with plenty of house mates before. I am happy to chill out with a tea on my own or have a chat over a couple of drinks/meal. Im 26, work full-time in the city and I love pets if you have them! Looking for a room to rent and am fairly flexible.
I'm looking to rent a place either by myself or with a peaceful, self aware, tidy, friendly person. I love a good conversation, I also like my own time and respect privacy. I am very domesticated, I cook, clean, wash, pay my bill's. I work full time and attend classes at CIT twice a week. I have a full schedule. I have a mountain bike for rides around the lake or block. I like to keep relatively fit. I've been known to send myself to see a movie. So a movie buddy would be a bonus 😊 I have family in Canberra, so a ute or helping hand if we need is never far. I'm looking for a santuary I can be at ease.
Hello, we are a young couple looking for a flat were we have an easy commute to work and can also chill with our cat. We are both currently employed in the pet industry, me as a vet nurse and Sam as an assistant store manager in a pet shop. We own one cat, a very laid back, 10 year old, British Short Hair called Pushkin. She is fully vaccinated, up to date on flea and worming, and is strictly an indoor only cat. The reason we are moving out of our current flat is we don't have a kitchen, and we want to improve our lifestyles by cooking more. We are both into music but our instruments are practiced quietly so not to disturb anyone. We are quiet people and often work long hours, but we are also happy to have a chat if we run into you. We are preferably looking for a small flat (with a kitchen!), but we are also happy to share a house if the people are right. If you have anymore questions please let us know!
I'm a 30 y/o Chemical Engineer. I’m originally from WA and have been living in Canberra since Feb 2017. I'm friendly, reliable, and tidy. Hi, my name's Eeca. I work part-time at Canberra Outlet Centre and study full-time at ANU. When at home, I usually like reading, watching youtube, or going for a run. I think I'm relatively quiet, but I'm happy to chat too. I can share a bathroom and kitchen. I like a good washing machine, as I go running most days and so go through some sports gear... I'm a 35yr old male and I've just moved to Canberra for study, 2019-2021. I'm looking for a 6-12 month stay initially, anywhere near ANU or Fyshwick, or inbetween.
