Hello! I am an Australian country girl who moved to the city 4 years ago to study. I have usually lived with international people and absolutely love it! I am currently working for a university in a full-time graduate position. My interests include swimming, painting, writing, dancing and singing. My work is very low stress so I prefer to spend my free time doing things which are more exciting. I come with a little bunny called Twifford. Twifford is toilet trained, super friendly and is on the lease of the place where I am currently living. However, the little bunny does get quite stressed when living with prey animals like cats or dogs so he may have to be the only pet in the house. I have a car which I use to visit family out of Sydney, so I am looking for a place with some kind of parking availability. I have lived in flat-shares for the past five years and through these experiences, I have discovered that this is what I am like as a flatmate: - I am a relatively clean person and appreciate a house that is clean enough to be functional (it doesn't have to be spotless but I'd like to be able to walk from the front door to my room without falling over). - It is important to me to hang out and be social with the people I live with. Having said that, I generally consider my room as my own private space. - I don't do passive aggressive conflict. If I have an issue with a flatmate I will speak to them one-on-one to their face and I appreciate flatmates who solve differences in the same way. - I think that all chores and bills should be shared amongst a flat. - I myself am a very quiet flatmate (I use headphones for everything because the speakers on my devices suck) but I don't mind if other people are noisy. I sleep with earplugs and go to bed around midnight. - I'm fine with flatmates having friends over - as long as you're fine with me meeting them and hanging out with them as well! - I'm fine with the occasional party but I'm really not into drugs or smoking. Here is a list of the furniture I have. (The only things I'm attached to are my bed, bookshelf, couch and desk. Everything else I'm happy to sell if necessary). - Fridge - Wash/dryer - Couch - Microwave - Rice cooker - Slow cooker - Dining table - 4 Dining chairs - Vacuum - Heater - Fan - King-Single bed w/ mattress - Kind bed w/mattress - cutlery, pots, pans, etc. *** I don't do controlling people or people who just want to dominate me. Let's all just be equals :)
I'm a full-time professional animator at Flying Bark Productions, and in my spare time I do independent animations and run a YouTube channel (I go by the handle SquigglyDigg online :D). Walking or biking distance to Camperdown 2050 is ideal, but if the price is right, I can be flexible! I'm planning to move in with two friends around November or December, so for now I'm focused on finding accommodation for myself in the meanwhile. Depending on how things go, I might need to plan on more or fewer than 6 months!
Moving to Sydney after 8 years in Melbourne. Looking for a place from the 29th of June. Respect for peoples space but do enjoy a drink and an ocassional get together. I'm vego - but you an eat what you like, I won't bite (ha!). Can cook you a good meal (ex chef) when I'm feeling generous ;). Work in an architectural firm so a bit of a creative / borderline eccentric. looking for like minded folks (who maintain a clean toilet!)
British couple looking for somewhere to stay for 2 months in Sydney. We both work full time as Bartenders/Waiters so won’t be in much during the days/evenings. Being kicked out of our current home and need a new one ASAP 😢 Easy going, clean and friendly, please help us out ☺️
I’m recently returned after ten years abroad (Berlin and Cambodia). I have a quiet, sweet, cat-like rescue adult pup named Mangosteen, whom I brought back with me from Cambodia. She’s small (large beagle or small stuffy), and works best with animal lovers who are patient and don’t expect her to be like the family Labrador, she’s aloof at first, her back story is a sad one. She doesn’t need much space but is an outside dog when I’m not home, so a small secure courtyard or ideally, grassy garden, is essential. I’m extremely dedicated to her, so you won’t be expected to care for her beyond basic kindness and consideration (let her in if it’s thundering etc). I work at a national NGO full-time and am passionate about my job, I’m the progressive type and love having interesting chats over wine and food and good music. I’m very self-sufficient, happy to hang but equally happy to respect others’ space and privacy. I tend to keep weeknights quiet as work is busy. I’m open minded and relaxed and would love a friendly, community vibe with people who share my values. I get on with all kinds of humans, but I avoid nastiness, bitchiness, overt neuroticism over house stuff etc. what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is yours unless you offer. I’m hygienic but not a clean freak, I’m happy to do whatever needs to be done and to keep everyone happy in their safe zone 😊
I’m moving back to Australia after 2 years in London. Originally from Adelaide but have just accepted a full time job in Sydney working for a consultancy firm. I’m looking for a nice quiet place to come home to after a busy day but more than ok with a social house on weekends (nothing too crazy though!) I’m into fitness, exploring new areas and going out for dinner and drinks. Looking to stay long term for the right place/people but would be interested in 3-6 months too while I get to know Sydney :)
Working full-time and looking to move into a sharehouse in Sydney with some people that are easy going and friendly. I work full-time in recruiting and travel often for it, I am very busy with work and play footy during the week and on weekends, however I still like to live in a place where i can get to know my housemates. I am easy going, work relatively long hours and am very social, I want to move in somewhere long-term and am flexible with furniture arrangements.
Hi, 26 year old engineer who's lived in Sydney for 2 years. Before that I grew up in a very far away remote place called Tasmania. I enjoy sport, gaming, beers, gym, reading and movies.
Hello my name is Qi, full-time Chinese student at the University of Sydney. I'm looking for renting a property on behalf of our 4-person group (all are university students without any bad hobbies such as drinking, smoking and party). Detailed anticipations are listed below: 1. Tenancy forms are flexible, which means taking a whole property is our first priority, but we also accept existing rooms in a shared house, etc. 2. Necessary furniture, 24-hour hot water and guaranteed internet access are significantly required. 3. Excellent access to public transportation facilities (prefer train station) is an important anticipation if the property located in an outlying suburb. 4. Better to close by shopping centres and Post Offices, and allow to self-catered. 5. As long as conditions are appropriate, we guarantee this will be a mid to long term tenancy (6-18 mths). If any member quits in advance, we are responsible to recruit a new one to continue the agreement. 6. Please contact me via Flatmats message or SMS, because, please forgive, I have too many courses.
I'm a computer programmer working full-time in the city, looking to start or join a sharehouse in the Surry Hills/Redfern area. I'm quite down-to-earth, and in my spare time I like to play guitar, watch TV and play boardgames. I'm bi and quite left-wing, and I tend to get along best with like-minded people 🏳️🌈 Ideally I'd like to live with 2 housemates in a 3 bedroom place – people who enjoy cooking, eating and talking together, but are also respectful of each other's privacy and need to chill out alone from time to time. If this sounds like you, please send me a message!
Hey there! I'm an Indonesian exchange student coming to Sydney for 6 months between july and december. I am a clean, easy going person who doesn't smoke, loves cooking, plays a bit of sports and music here and there, and is always down for a hangout with some beer! I could use some help in getting a room for my stay.
