Hey there! I'm Becca, a 22yr old student from Canada starting my Master of Teaching at the University of Sydney in March 2017. I am hoping to find not just people to live with but friends who enjoy being active and going on adventures!
19 year old guy from Norway. Moving to Sydney to study Design Computing at USYD. I'm a calm and laidback person, also clean and tidy. Always up for a drink or two and love a conversation that goes beyond the weather. I love music more than anything. I play the guitar and collect vinyl. A mutual interest for music is important to me. I also like to cook:) I'm moving to Sydney 1st of January and looking for preferably one, maybe two roomies.
Hello ! My name is Audrey, I am a 22 year-old French-Armenian student taking a year off to travel around Australia. I want to stay and work in Sydney for at least 3 months. I am a very friendly person (I laugh a lot), I am a bit of a maniac so I am very clean, I like gatherings but I'm not a party animal and I like staying at home, cooking and sharing a meal just as much. I'm basically a healthy and reliable person. I'm just looking for a nice and clean place to stay close to the center but also not too far from the beach. Being around social and open people like myself would be a plus, I'd love to get to know my roomate(s). Don't hesitate to call or text if it sounds like what you're searching for as a roomate ! Thank's, cheers !
G'day. I'm a 23 year old Aussie managing a bar in glebe. I like to have a beer at home and play music with my housemates and friends. I've always been a clean and tidy housemate with good hygiene. I begin study at uts next year. I'm looking for a nice room in an innerwest houdeshare. I hope to have place in which I can socialise at home as well as have privacy
Hi, I'm a 19 year young man from Germany on a working holiday. I'm easy to get along with and currently looking for a flat in the inner sydney suburbs/in the city. Friendly, tidy and working full time.
I'm Sam, 24, and I've just finished 12 months of travel and looking to move to Sydney. I'm a recent law grad and I've just signed a minimum 12 month contract with the Federal Court. I'm not a party person, but I do like spending time with friends and going for drinks. I'd prefer to live somewhere where everyone is friends.
23 year old from QLD moving to Sydney for grad school. I am looking for some fun, friendly people to move in with. I value cleanliness and I can cook - I would really like to find people who are sociable and enjoy chatting / activities with flatmates balanced with doing your own thing. Hobbies include travelling, learning languages, cooking, outdoor activities and exploring new places. Bonus points if you have pets I can cuddle, but it's not a deal breaker! I have lived out of home (including overseas) since I finished school so I am definitely house-share trained, and I can provide four years of proof of paying rent reliably. Ideally I am looking for a place where I can have my own space/privacy but also flatmates who I can chat to and become friends with too (moving away from all my friends and family). I can sign on to a lease any time from late November but I probably wouldn't physically move until after Christmas. Just message me if you have any questions :)
Hey I'm Ricky from chile I've been living in Sydney for the last 4 years I'm studying and working in 2 different places, on my time off normally I workout, hang out whit friends or just chill at home
Hi mates! I'm Roberto. I'm 21 and I'm from Italy. I'm a very clean and tidy person. I'm looking for a flat for about 3 months until the end of January. I'm in Sydney to improve my English make new experiences and meet new people. Thanks everybody
Looking for a place 30min away max from central. Been living with same housemate for 5 years.we get on really well but his job is out west and I don't enjoy the west a lot. I work in the city and spend my free time near the city so makes sense for me to move closer. Not in a rush, prefer to find a long term place and hopefully move to a place where I can have a place to stay and make new friends I can be a messy person in my own private room but very neat & considerate when it comes to shared space. (P.S: messy is not dirty...the 2 are quite different) Thank you for reading my profile.
Hey! Shared house are not about cheaper rent but about sharing moments to me :) I like my independence but I also love flatmates evenings. I'm easy to live and good at housekeeping (yes, I was a backpacker!). I'd love to meet you and have a drink :)
Italian but quite atypical. Currently work as a gardener/landscaper getting a sponsor visa I wake up really early in weekdays so I'm quiet at night Keen on creative interests, arts and cinema above all
Hi!! I am a 23 year old Perth girl looking for a place to move into around mid December 2016 as I have just accepted a job over here in Sydney. I have lived in shared houses before - I am very tidy, respectful and friendly. I enjoy a drink on weekends and love being outdoors.
Hi there! I'm moving from Brisbane to Sydney to start a new job. I work in Arts Adminstration and am looking for a place to call home. I am friendly, outgoing, clean, reliable and easy to get along with.
I'm from Denmark, in Europe. I just finished an exchange semester at UTS in July. I'm now back in Sydney, to do an internship as part of my degree (film & photography) back in Europe. I'm gonna be interning at a advertising/production company in Surry Hills for 4 months. I'm super easy going, laidback, and very down to earth, always up for a laugh and good times! :D Live for traveling, love going to live music gigs, football, shopping and the beach :D I have about a million interests, and i'm very open minded all around :) *******need my own furnished room (with at least a bed and a wardrobe) and lease for 4-5 months*******
Hey, I am Vicente originally from Spain, living in Sydney for almost 4 years already I am easy going, sociable, clean..... looking for a place that I can call home. I like home to be a place to relax and I respect privacy and space but sociable as well :) I enjoy the outdoor, going out for a drink or two, live music... but also enjoy a quiet night at home watching a movie Busy during the week with work(I work as an architect standard office hour 9-6 but sometimes i have to do crazy hours) , on weekends I like going to the markets, beach, catching up friends, camping,... or sometimes just stay at home. I also have a small campervan and I like to spend weekends out of the city when is warm. Cheers
Hi, Relocating to Sydney for a new role. I work full time as an engineer and am a really easy going person. Like to keep active and enjoy having a trillion coffees a week. Clean and tidy person hoping to live with people around the same age as myself. Cheers,
Hellllooo :) I'm looking for a place to stay around Nov 6th although I can sort out temporary accomodation for a week or so if the right place comes available a little later. About me.. Well I grew up in Malta and have been in Aus a year so far but am intending to stick around for at least another full year .. Longer if some wonderful design company would like to sponsor me eventually. I'm house trained so won't leave a trail of destruction and share house trained so will pay my bills on time and all that. I smoke but not too much and wouldn't ever do that inside anyway I'm chatty and social but not loud and don't get offended whenever anyone tells me to stop talking.. Which after a little wine you will most definitely feel the need to.. But have my quiet days where I'll retreat to my room and read/paint/watch wierd documentaries about things I never thought I wanted to learn about.. I'm also attempting to learn to hula hoop so feel free to point and laugh when I ungracefully wobble around I'm 29 and 3/4s and an Interior Architect so can understand quite a bit about houses should anything go wrong and need fixing.. Thought I'd throw that in as its something I can bring to the table.. Also love cooking and have been raised on some lovely Mediterranean dishes which I'll happily cook up for everyone once in a while :)
Hello my names Emma and Im a 19 year old student studying computer science at the University of Sydney and looking for somewhere to stay within 30 minutes of the uni (via public transport). Im a friendly, quiet and clean person that doesn't mind keeping to myself or socialising depending on what you prefer! Ive been working as well as studying throughout High School and I have substantial savings. Im looking for somewhere within 30 minutes of my university for at least a year! I love pets and thus don't mind them, my only request is a PRIVATE ROOM and max 250 dollars rent per week (including bills/internet) or less if it doesent include such utilities. In my spare time I go out with friends, watch movies but mostly I'm studying and working. I am not fussed by your nationality or sexuality as long as you are a friendly and honest person :)
We are a friendly couple from London, who are staying here for a year on a working holiday visa. We both work in media, she's a motion designer and I'm a producer and are both very sociable individuals who enjoy exploring cities, listening to music, going to gigs and watching films - but are always respectful and tidy in regards to living. We're both 28 and enjoy meeting new people. We're getting all our admin done this and next week, so if we can come by sometime soon that would be great. If you have any questions for us - shoot them across and we'll get back right away. Thanks! =)
We are a esay-going french and english couple that are excited to have just arrived in Sydney. Both looking for full time employment as a photographer and as a PA, we plan to stay in Sydney long term. We travelled together through Australia and have flatshared before. We know what its like to live with other people, to be respectful, tidy and sociable. We appreciate time to ourselves and other spear time like weekends with friends; new and old.
We are a young brazilian couple going to Australia to study, work and have some fun. We will arrive in Australia on 10th December. First we are looking for a place to stay for a month and then if we like the place we can stay the other 5 months of our period in Australia. We are not hard party people but we like to make new friends and take some beer sometimes, we love travel and go to the beach. We are a clean and organize couple, very friendly and easy going too.
I am vibrant and have a joyful personality. I work in Human Resources as a HR Manager for a government agency (just starting and leaving the construction industry) and really enjoy what I do for work. In my free time I enjoy cooking/baking, Latin dancing (teaching internationally and performing), spending time with friends, traveling the globe and trying new fun things like archery and trapeze (to name a few). I'm very sociable, but after long days in the office I can be a bit of a "grandma" and pretty much eat, shower and go straight to bed. *yawn* I don't mind chatting over a wine or two and can also appreciate when people need their space. I'm fairly clean - and my only vice would be that it may take me a day or two to put away my washing basket (which would be beside my bed in my room). I'm not one to leave dishes in the sink and I avidly clean the the house and bathroom on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
We are two friendly girls from Poland making our dreams come true by moving to Australia. We like spending time with people and thats why it is important to us to live with nice and like minded people. Iwona was working in media in Warsaw and I just moved out from London. We like traveling, discovering as much of the city as we can and all sorts of different activities therefore don't expect us to stay in too much :) Price and the location of the room is negotiable. Please feel free to ask and contact us with anything
Hi :) I work in fashion retail where I get solid 30 hour weeks. It's a stable working position and I'm happy to provide any documents you need :) I'm super chill, love a good laugh and not overly pedantic around the house. I respect all common places and keep my own living area super clean. I'd like to think I'm diplomatic about things, so you won't expect me to leave passive notes on your door haha. I also love my quiet time but NOT a hermit - I do enjoy those family vibes over Netflix and dinner. Top preference for areas would be MARRICKVILLE but I'd be happy with the suburbs below too! - Redfern - Camperdown - Glebe - Alexandria - Erskinville ** No shared rooms, sorry ** Preferably long term lease, 6 months - 1 year + (No subletting). Will consider being included in the lease if both parties are happy. Hit me up if you think I'd be a good fit, always open to meet new people! NB: Please only message me via the site or email :)
I'm 25 and work full-time as an office manager for a tech company in the CBD. I have a pretty busy schedule during the week, but I would like to be part of a 'home' rather than just a house, and enjoy catchups over wine/shared dinners here and there. I love sharing new music, discovering new bars, and long, lazy days at the beach. I consider myself pretty easy-going, but very respectful of shared spaces (and hope you are too). Also fortunate enough to have supplementary income coming in from a rental property, so you can count on me to pay rent on time. Look forward to hearing from you!
My name is Natalie, I'm moving to Sydney from Adelaide to work full time and to start a masters course in human rights at the University of Sydney. I would be a reliable, considerate and clean housemate as well as friendly and independent.
Hi there, my Name is Bronte (I'm the chicka on the right) and I'm currently studying Media and Communcations at USYD full time. I'm currently on the hunt for a private room to rent long-term, as I've still got at least two years of study left! I've been sharehousing for 2 years now so I know what it's about and how to be courteous of peoples' space. I'm clean and tidy, respectful, sociable, super easy to live with! I love cooking so happy to bring meals to the table. When I'm not studying, I enjoy hanging out and having the occasional glass of wine. I can crack the occasional joke and have a stable source of money for rent so I would say I'm good value :)
Hello, my name is Elena and I'm from Germany. I'm 18 years old and I graduated a few months ago and now I'm looking for a room in Bondi for about 3 months beginning at the 12th of January. I have a working holiday visum and want to explore Sydney and it's facets. I am a really open, communicative and easy person who loves to experience the life of sydney.
Hey Hey, Looking for a great place to kick back and soak up the atmosphere of one of the innerwest or beachside suburbs. I am an enviro engineer working in Sydney and keep pretty active with Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball and cycling when I can. I also enjoy the odd cook up at home with a beer or wine, strum the guitar when I remember to and can definitely get sucked into a good tv series or weekly trivia. I'm keen for somewhere central as I commute a little for work to Parramatta and some other treatment plant sites. I'm clean, tidy and respectful and like to look after the place I live. Cheers Paul
Friendly, outgoing person from Estonia. Keep everything clean and tidy. I am a total foodie, enjoy cooking and baking quite often, lucky future flatmates..:) On my spare time I love to meet new people, go out for a drink. I love sports, dancing, hiking and a lot more. Traveling here with WHV, but I am planning to stay in Sydney for a longer period of time. Have had such an adventurous half a year in Australia so far. First 2 months in Sydney and last 4 months doing my farm work in the outback. Hopefully more fun times are only ahead! Currently working in Macquarie University in the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Looking for a home (private room only) from the 25th of October, maximum budget is 330AUD, bills included. Preferably in Bondi, but anything near Bondi is also nice, additionally consider Waterloo area, Double Bay and surroundings, North Sydney. I also have a car, which is why parking space is highly regarded either on the street or off-street parking. If it sounds like you would have anything to offer which matches to my profile, please do not hesitate to contact! I look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks! :)
Hi there, I'm Vash. I have recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne as part of work. I have lived in Melbourne since I was born but have come here just this week. I'm very clean and I do not smoke. I'm also pretty quiet during the week, and very respectful of your privacy. But I am also more than happy to catch up for a drink or two on the weekend! Cheers!
Hey I'm Anna, illustrator and 3D artist from Germany, about to move to Sydney. Since I'm looking to get a full time position in Sydney, I probably won't be home a lot. I've lived in shared apartments for nearly 6 years and always liked hanging out together with a glass of wine, going out or just having a conversation but if you need your own time I will stay out of your way, sometimes I need time to myself as well. I'm looking forward to see what it's like to live in Sydney for a longer period of time and I am quite open to the place's area. A private room would be great, everything else shared is perfect though. I'm tidy, outgoing and I naturally am a very happy person. In my free time I like to draw a lot, work out, cook, enjoy Australia's nature and travel. To meet lots of new people is something I am so excited about, so if you feel like you'd enjoy living with me or if you have any questions please let me know, I'd be very pleased to hear from you!
Hi I’m Cherie, 33 yrs old female working professional. I’m easy going, clean and tidy, respectful, and try to be as fit and healthy as I can. I’m sociable but not a party animal, I’m mindful of other people’s space. I tend to socialise on weekends outside the house.
Hey! I'm a graphic designer, looking to move somewhere inner-city / inner-west Sydney. Currently living in Canterbury, I grew up around Kogarah and have also lived out west and up north of Sydney. My lease is about to end and I want some good old fashioned change. I've lived in share houses the past few years, I keep it clean and tidy & am super chill. I can keep to myself but I also like just hanging out. I love reading, writing, travel, movies, videogames, comedy, arty stuff & a good drink! Let's make this the best sitcom ever.
from the UK and decided to move out to Australia and start something new! Looking to live in a shared house with like minded people. I am outgoing, friendly and I like to socialise but equally will be working full time so am just looking for something super chilled. Preferably want to be nearer the beaches so I can properly learn to surf!

Hello my name is Kiran. I am looking for places close to Sydney Uni. I am moving to sydney coming year to pursue my studies at Uni. So I would be reasonably occupied during the day. I am a fun loving yoga enthusiast and a science geek who enjoys the company of others as well as loves being to myself. Looking forward to meeting new people and moving in. :)
Hello potential roommate(s). My name is Taila, I am 25 and work your normal 9-5 gig in the CBD. I'm looking for a private, preferably furnished room in the Newtown(ish) area. I've rented for several years, have a squeaky clean rental history and I know how to cook/clean/pay rent on time/generally succeed at being an adult. I'm not the party type, with that said though, I'm not about to turn down a cheeky beer or glass of wine on a Friday night. I'm pretty relaxed, I'm not OCD nazi about cleanliness, but I do value a neat and tidy home. As long as everyone picks up after themselves and the duties are shared, I'm a happy customer. I'm naturally social and bubbly so I welcome the idea of having friends over, bring them, I have Cards Against Humanity, as long as courtesy and respect is there, I'm cool. I'm a pretty big music nut (Triple J for life), I think anything Ricky Gervais touches is gold, I love documentaries, Louis Theroux, binge-watching Parks and Recreation and eating delicious Asian food.
Gday! I'm Tim, a 27 year old Exercise Physiologist (a fancy personal trainer) who loves playing team sports, travelling and wearing and talking about my growing collection of party shirts. I love living with other people, always good for a chat or to have casual drinks. I'm a big fan of exploring, socialising, sports, movies, being outdoors and being active, and good banter! I'm looking for a social house to be with housemates who enjoy hanging out and having a few evening beverages, not just renting a room. I'm also clean, cheerful, a non-smoker, work normal hours and am always keen for adventures. What more could you want!
Hello! A little background on myself - I am a recent law graduate from University of Queensland who is also highly passionate about tech. I've moved to Sydney to learn how to code at an academy in Ultimo. I have an extensive rental history and references from my home town, Brisbane. Never missed a rent payment and have always taken care of the property as if it were my own. Looking for a place that's simple, friendly, organised and tidy. I'm the social type who likes conversation at home, but will also be quite busy with study and keeping active. Ideally, looking to live with people who share similar living traits and also around the same age (25-30).
I am a British exchange student from the University of Leeds and currently studying at the University of Newcastle (Australia) and moving over to Sydney during the Christmas holiday due to an internship. Easygoing and love going out/socialising, so always up for a fun night out!
I'm a laid back, outgoing and sociable Brit, who's recently moved here from the UK and looking to stay for the long-term. I work in website and app design, so will be generally working weekdays 9-5. I'm a clean and tidy individual, and very respectful of people's privacy. Plus I like to cook, so don't mind sharing a meal or two each week. I like to watch any kind of sports and I'm an active person; I play soccer several times a week here in Sydney, and played American football back in the UK, and did lots of road cycling. I also love watching movies (at the cinema or at home), fashion and going out for dinner/coffee/brunch. Just looking to move into somewhere with some likeminded, sociable people who can become friends as well as housemates. I need to be near transport links to the CBD ideally.
Hey! I'm Michael, 27, and work full-time as an editor for a production company that makes TVCs and film trailers for various clients. I work from 10-6.30, so I'd be on a slightly different schedule than the norm. In terms of my personality, I'm very easy going/easy to talk to, and I respect other people's space. At the same time, I love getting out and discovering new places like quirky small bars or cafes. Being in production I love the arts - especially films, and I also try to get out and enjoy live music when I can. I'm looking to find some good-natured, like-minded people to share a home with.
We are two girls in our 20s, Scottish and Welsh working full time. We plan on staying in Sydney for the next 6 months. We are both really sociable and chilled out to live with, if anyone would like to adopt us please contact me. Seeee ya!
Howdi, I've just moved to Sydney for a cracking job but need a place to live. I'Ve just moved from Melbourne. As a consequence that means that I like a drink, a coffee, markets, a boogie! Whilst I'll have to get used to not having trams, cold weather or riding my bicycle to work and around the entire city, I'm keen to get to know beaches and sydneys nightlife with housemates (ha.ha.ha). I've been in share houses since I was 18 and so I know the deal about being respectful of each other's time and space. Keen for six or 12 months (or longer!!)
